At this moment, Mito suddenly realized that the appearance of these corpses was so abominable.
They have faces that look like they have been re-healed after severe burns, and their bodies are pale but have irregular lines of connective tissue.
It was like a vine that was winding around the entire face, and when it gathered at the mouth, it seemed to spiral and twist deeply. It looked like a demon from Mito's childhood nightmare.
There are big scorched trees with twisted bark, and the texture of the bark is like a twisted human face.
The faces of the corpses in front of her were like the faces on the Tree of Human Faces, with blood flowing out of the empty eye sockets like thick resin sap.
"You, you guys..."
Such a strange and terrifying scene that suddenly appeared was a combination of the things she feared the most. Mito's mind went blank in an instant, and her will and reason were severely impacted.
Her pupils instantly dilated due to fear, she unconsciously staggered back a few steps, and fell to the ground in horror.
The faces of those corpses were terrifying and indifferent, they just looked at Mito with empty eyes.
The next moment, Mito actually heard the weird hissing sound again.
It turns out that they are the ones whispering.
"Mito, why didn't you come back..."
"Mito, have you forgotten your last name..."
"Hoho, have you abandoned and forgotten us..."
"Uuuu, Mito-sama, it hurts, it really hurts..."
Faces with unwillingness and resentment gradually approached, and accumulated emotions such as numbness, despair, pain, and resentment began to flow toward Mito.
The chill that made her shiver gradually crawled up her back, inch by inch, to the back of her head and the top of her head. Fear and panic accumulated in her mind!
"Why didn't you kill Sarutobi Hiruzen? Why did you show mercy to those who killed us?!"
"Mito! No, Senju Mito! You are also the executioner who killed us!"
"Senju Mito! Executioner!! "
What a weird sound it was, full of sharpness like a baby's cry, and the hoarse sound was like crying. It made Mito feel the resonance in her skull and her soul seemed to be trembling!
"No! No! I'm not!"
That roar, full of resentment and hatred, made Mito raise her hands to cover her ears with a pale face.
Fear, regret, despair...countless negative emotions accumulated together, and she could only yell hysterically: "I didn't know! I really didn't know! It wasn't me who killed you, no!!"
But in the next moment, countless dry arms suddenly stretched out from the ashes under her body.
Puff! Poof!!
Those withered arms grabbed Mito's wrists and ankles at an incredible speed!
They began to pull her downwards with great resentment, trying to pull her into the flowing ashes beneath her.
"No! I, I didn't..."
Mito struggled desperately like a person trapped in a quagmire, but was soon pulled into the ashes by those withered arms.
After the last ash fell on her ears and made a rustling sound, Mito felt that everything around her fell into deathly silence.
"..."
She opened her mouth wide and roared, trying to defend herself, but all she could hear was her own heartbeat that was getting faster and clearer.
All other sounds seemed to be swallowed up, as if abandoned by the whole world, and the fear that could not be vented made her fear even worse.
The ashes immersed in her seemed to become cold, and a chill gradually spread to her heart, making her blood colder inch by inch, and that feeling was called "death".
Just when the fear reached its limit, the heart was completely eroded by the chill.
Mito's power was back.
But her will was completely broken.
—
“Roar!!”
The five tails danced wildly behind Mito, sweeping away all the things and people around her.
"Damn it!" Sarutobi Hiruzen's face turned extremely ugly. A trace of determination flashed in his eyes. He pointed the Adamantine Staff in his hand at Mito and growled, "Get out of here!!"
In an instant, Adamantine Staff became thicker and longer. The Adamantine Staff was pointed at Mito, who had completely lost consciousness, and he wanted to knock her directly into the sky.
At the same time, the chakra in the body began to surge, and he joined his hands and was about to form a seal.
But when he looked up at the sky, he suddenly found that the golden light containing terrifying fluctuations became dim, and finally gradually dissipated.
"What's going on?" Seeing this, Sarutobi Hiruzen, who had planned to fight hard, was also stunned.
Why was the attack suddenly lifted?
Is it just a bluff?
"No."
At this moment, in the Sky Fortress, facing the same doubts as Shinno, Kumokawa looked down and smiled: "There is no need to reveal your trump card."
"We are a peace-loving party, so we should let Kyuubi do it personally. Let Konoha feel the hatred of Kyuubi, and let Konoha and Kyuubi hate each other."
"Fear is the beginning of chaos."
As the words fell, Mito's scarlet chakra condensed into the giant fox.
"Roar!!"
It bared its teeth at Sarutobi Hiruzen. In addition to brutal hatred, there was also a sense of pleasure in revenge in its vertical pupils.
Immediately, under the horrified gaze of Sarutobi Hiruzen, It swallowed the tailed beast bomb into its mouth.
The next moment, the terrifying power was compressed and released from the huge open mouth like a torrent, turning into a heat wave and fiery red light, traveling across Konoha in front of it!
The scorching flames soared into the sky, completely drowning the golden color of the thunder above!
It carried deafening sonic booms and roars, and the wind from both sides swallowed everything up.
The buildings in front of it turned into loess and charcoal, and the humans turned into rich scarlet blood mist that exploded.
It left an extremely terrifying scar on the ground of Konoha, leaving a cross-section through Konoha where countless streets could be seen.
It was as if a god reached out from the sky, greedily reached in and dug out a large piece of Konoha land.
Taking the place where Mito stood as the dividing line, everything behind her was intact, but in front there was only pitch black and scorched earth.
In the end, the fire light hit the majestic and huge Hokage Rock in the farthest place.
Boom!!!
The most powerful explosion exploded completely, the surrounding streets and houses were instantly blown away, and a huge mushroom cloud rose!
"No..."
The light shone on the ground and stretched the shadow of Sarutobi Hiruzen. His face had completely lost all color at this moment, and he stared blankly at the place where smoke and fire were billowing in front of him.
The light filled the entire Konoha, causing him to feel suffocated with fear both physically and psychologically.
Immediately, he turned his head stiffly, looked at Mito or Kyuubi in the distance, and howled hysterically: "Mito!!"
At this moment, no one knew how many people looked up at Mito! And saw this horrifying scene.
