"The size of this pigeon..."
Looking at the white pigeon standing on Yakushi Nonō's shoulder, Shinji's face showed a little surprise: "Did you feed it ninja beast food?"
Ninja beasts are the fighting tools of ninjas.
It can be widely used in various situations, including direct combat, intelligence transmission, exploration, and assisting ninja combat.
Normal pigeons cannot grow to this size.
Only by feeding it with special feed for ninja beasts can it grow to this size.
"Yes, I accidentally saw this pigeon while traveling in the Ninja World."
Yakushi Nonō fed the pigeon with the feed and said calmly with a smile on her face: "Its wings were injured at that time, so I bandaged it. I didn't expect it to stick to me."
"Then I tried to train it to become a ninja beast, but it didn't do anything except deliver mail."
Looking at Yakushi Nonō who seemed to be radiating maternal love, Shinji didn't know what to say for a moment.
Many ninjas like to use flying birds as their reconnaissance beasts, but most ninjas are more accustomed to using birds such as crows that have stronger concealment.
Compared with the crows, the white pigeon is a little too conspicuous.
Obviously, the main purpose of the woman in front of him was not to cultivate ninja beasts.
Just like the reason why the other party found an excuse to pester him, it might be simply because of her overflowing sympathy, even if he himself did not need such sympathy.
Click.
Yakushi Nonō casually sat on the sofa on the other side, took out the thick book from her arms and opened it.
She picked up the pen that was clipped on the title page and lowered her head to write and draw on the notebook.
"Um?"
Shinji glanced over subconsciously and saw the scribbled words on the notebook, some of which were circled in red.
"Is this your medical record?" He looked away instantly, frowned and said, "I can't understand a single word of it."
Although it was just a glance, the words on the notebook were simply incomprehensible, like a few arcs drawn casually with the tip of a pen. At first glance, he thought it was a sloppy child's doodle.
It seems that many doctors are like this. Could it be that...
"Haha, do you think doctors have a secret font for communicating?"
Hearing this, Yakushi Nonō couldn't help but smile, and tapped the notebook with the end of the pen in her right hand, shaking her head and saying, "In fact, it's just because there are too many patients that I gradually practiced this quick sketching method."
"Sometimes what you write may not be words, but may be the abbreviation or abbreviation of some medicinal materials. If you write quickly, it will become a mess of characters."
After saying this, Shinji glanced at the scribbled words again and said, "It can be seen that you were indeed very busy in the past."
Those messy strings of characters together were like wildly growing vines, entwined with each other and spreading wildly, almost filling up the entire notebook.
The big circles were enclosed in small circles, layer upon layer, complicated and intricate. Shinji only had to look at them a few more times before he felt his eyes become a little sore and he felt a dizzy...
Bang!
"Don't peek at the doctor's case."
Yakushi Nonō reached out and closed the notebook, blocking the other person's gaze, and said with a smile: "I have to keep it confidential for my patients. After all, many patients are very sensitive."
"Some people usually look indifferent, but once they get sick, they will peel off their hard shell and reveal their unknown fragility."
Having said that, Yakushi Nonō looked at Shinji with her deep eyes, causing Shinji to feel his heartbeat inexplicably stagnate.
But soon, Yakushi Nonō looked away, looked towards the kitchen and said with a smile: "I'll go make some food. I hope you have something else in the refrigerator besides the instant lunch box."
After saying that, she stood up and walked towards the kitchen with the white pigeon still standing on her shoulder.
After entering the kitchen, Yakushi Nonō looked down at the notebook.
"Sure enough, just as Kumokawa-sama said, there are many surprises in Konoha after the war."
"That strange creature called White Zetsu, the Uchiha boy with certain special qualities, the spy from Kagero Village, and..." (Kagerō Village = Heat Devil Village)
"He buried the explosive tags all over Konoha."
Yakushi Nonō murmured to herself, gently tore off a page of paper, and tied it to the pigeon's leg with a smile.
“Coo-coo-coo!”
She opened the kitchen window, gently stroked the white pigeon's head, and watched it spread its wings and fly out of the window.
As night fell, a full moon gradually rose in the night sky.
The darkness seemed to have covered the white pigeon with black feathers. Hidden in the night, it flapped its wings, stirred up the air, and flew out of Konoha silently.
"Haoo!"
Sitting on the sofa in the living room outside the kitchen, Shinji subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Yakushi Nonō leave his sight.
But at this moment, he saw Yakushi Nonō suddenly stick her head out from the kitchen, and her half-smile on her face made his body stiffen suddenly.
"I almost forgot." Yakushi Nonō blinked and pointed to the living room window, "Close the window, it's windy outside."
Having said this, she suddenly paused and said meaningfully, "If the light inside the door is extinguished by the wind outside..."
"The house is not so bright."
Click.
The window was closed.
The bright light cast two shadows on the window, and one of them could be seen carrying a plate to the table.
"Are you afraid that I'll poison you?"
"Just surprised you can cook."
"It's your ingredients that limit my performance."
You can see a person sitting calmly at the table, with his hands clasped together as if saying "I'm eating", then the person lowered his head and took a light bite of the food.
After taking the first bite, he immediately looked up in front of him, and then never looked up again. All he could see was his shadow working hard.
At this moment, a white head popped out from the tree outside the window.
“It’s difficult.”
Looking at the closed window, Tobi couldn't help scratching his head, but he still tilted his head and murmured: "However, when he opened his eyes, he had two tomoe, and his personality is also very strange. It should meet the requirements of Lord Madara, right?"
"Well, maybe we need to investigate the identity of that woman."
———
At the same time, inside the white tent that serves as a temporary office.
Sarutobi Hiruzen sat at his desk, looking at the crystal ball on the table in front of him, which reflected the entire picture of Konoha.
Several water-style ninjas surrounded the burning building and sprayed water jets, but compared to the blazing fire and collapsing structure of the house, the several water jets were as futile as formalistic water pipes.
The ninja school located under the Hokage Rock was first bombed by the first wave of air strikes, and then destroyed again by the Hokage Rock. The Hokage Building was directly destroyed and has almost become a ruin.
All that could be seen was bloody scorched earth, a huge crater caused by pure violent bombardment, the rock walls had been burned black, spider-web-like cracks were everywhere, and all three heads were damaged.
The more he looked, the uglier Sarutobi Hiruzen's expression became.
"well!"
He kept the field of view of the "Crystal Ball Jutsu" on the Konoha Hospital and looked out a window at the old woman who was still in a coma. He finally couldn't help but sighed deeply and whispered, "If only Danzo was still here."
If Danzo was still in Konoha, he would take the initiative to cause trouble for Mito and force Mito to make the choice which she should make without the Hokage's reminder.
Thinking of this, Sarutobi Hiruzen's back bent even more, and his face, full of fatigue, looked as if he had aged twenty years.
"Hoo..!" Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed again, "Looks like I have to be the villain myself."
Today is the third day that Danzo is away.
He misses him very much.
