"Huh! Huh! Shouldn't the bell ring yet?"
Kushina rushed to the classroom door panting, and after taking a breath, she stretched out her hand and knocked on the door.
Knock! Knock!
"Come in."
Hearing the familiar voice of the teacher in the classroom, Kushina couldn't help but feel lucky that she arrived before the bell rang. She heaved a sigh of relief and pushed open the door.
Click!
But when she walked into the classroom, she found that it was already full of people, and the whole classroom was very quiet.
When she looked at the back row, she ran into a pair of light blue eyes head-on, and Kushina was very keen to detect the sympathy in the eyes.
"Haha, you two little bastards, you really have the same mind."
A voice of laughter came from the podium, which made Kushina come back to her senses and turn around.
On the podium, a middle-aged man with a scar on his side face was looking at her gloomily with his hands on his chest.
"Teacher Fujiki."
Kushina shuddered at his gaze, blinking and asking subconsciously: "Hasn't the bell for class rung yet?"
"Hahaha!"
This sentence instantly ignited the quiet classroom, and most of the children couldn't help but burst into laughter.
It was not until Kushina glared at them with a vicious look that some children with bruised eyes closed their mouths.
"Quiet!"
Fujiki's face darkened, and he pointed to the clock above his head and said unhappily: "The bell for class has rung, and you are later than Minato. At least he arrived on time!"
Hearing this, Kushina looked at the blond boy standing at the end of the classroom. Minato had an embarrassed smile on his slightly red cheeks.
"Go." Fujiki raised his chin to Kushina and said in a deep voice, "You also go to the back and stand in class."
Kushina scratched her head in distress, but still walked over with ease.
Obviously, compared to Minato who was late for the first time, she already had enough experience and was thick-skinned enough to ignore the strange looks.
"Hey."
Kushina walked to Minato in the back row, moved her mouth slightly and asked in a very low voice: "Aren't you the most diligent in school? Why are you late today?"
Hearing Kushina's interesting habit, Minato subconsciously touched his nose and couldn't help showing a bitter smile on his face.
He knew that Kushina hated him because of some misunderstandings, but he had never found a chance to explain. This was the first time they talked so closely.
"This, this is not important."
Minato looked at Mr. Fujiki on the podium with a guilty conscience, as if he was afraid that he would be discovered by him talking in a small talk. He lowered his voice and said: "The most important thing now is that we are going to be unlucky."
Kushina was indeed attracted by the topic he changed, and asked curiously: "What do you mean?"
"Mr. Fujiki said that this class will be taught by a substitute teacher." At this point, Minato paused mysteriously.
"Substitute teacher?" Kushina touched the ends of her long red hair, her eyes wandering as she asked, "Oh, what will this class be about?"
As soon as these words came out, Minato's mouth twitched, and he patiently explained in a low voice: "History of Konoha and the Will of Fire, didn't you want to be the first female Hokage? Didn't you forget all this?"
Upon hearing this, Kushina crossed her arms across her chest, feeling dissatisfied and guilty, and whispered: "I, I just haven't woken up yet..."
She just didn't want to be excluded, didn't want to be treated as an outsider, and wanted to treat this place as her hometown.
In order to better integrate into Konoha, she lied on the first day of school.
Who would really want to be a Hokage? !
As a result, among the students in the entire classroom, only the sissy next to her stood up and agreed with her "ideal".
"Look."
Minato pouted at Kushina in front of him and said with a smile, "Students who are from the ninja clan and like to skip classes, all came to class today, which is very rare."
Yamanaka Inoichi from the Yamanaka clan, Akimichi Choza and Akimichi Yoshimaru from the Akimichi clan, Nara Shikaku and Nara Yoshino from the Nara clan...
"The History of Konoha and the Will of Fire."
Kushina muttered subconsciously, as if she suddenly thought of something and was stunned for a moment, blurting out: "You mean, the substitute teacher for us..."
At this moment, before she could finish her words, the door of the classroom was knocked again.
Everyone in the classroom subconsciously looked over, and saw Fujiki responding happily: "Hey, I'm coming!"
When Fujiki opened the door, everyone in the classroom was stunned when they saw the figure outside the door.
The old man with white hair and a kind smile, the white and red divine robe made him look unusually tall, and the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes were as deep as burnt wood.
"Hokage Rock?"
A child blurted out, but soon reacted and said in surprise: "No, that's not right, it's the Third Hokage-sama!"
The other children also shouted in surprise, and the whole classroom became noisy.
"Good morning, kids."
Sarutobi Hiruzen walked into the classroom with a gentle smile on his face, looking at the excited kids, and said jokingly, "I'm so sorry, I stayed up too late to review documents last night, so I'm a few minutes late."
"I shouldn't leave you with the first impression that I like to be late, right?"
As soon as this was said, everyone shook their heads in unison like rattles, and some little girls even covered their mouths to avoid screaming out of control.
The class was taught by the Third Hokage, and no one was dissatisfied at all. Instead, they were all excited and looking forward to it.
Fujiki sat down at the back of the classroom very tactfully, while Sarutobi Hiruzen stood on the podium naturally.
He took off the bamboo hat that symbolized the position of Hokage and placed it on the desk, and said with a smile, "The course I'm going to teach today is "History of Konoha and the Will of Fire". Please take out your books."
The entire classroom was arranged in a stepped manner, and each table could accommodate three people, that is, three people shared a table, which was very convenient for naughty students to chat secretly.
But at this moment, the lecture hall was completely silent. All the students were serious. Some even took out notebooks and pens to take notes.
They looked as docile as sheep, but no one had a pointer or sheepdog. It was obvious that they were doing it completely on their own initiative.
"Tsk."
The teacher sitting in the last row had a flash of envy in his eyes for this classroom environment that all faculty members dreamed of. He secretly said, "These little bastards are really good at changing their ways with the wind."
After all, this class has the best students in the entire grade. They are either descendants of the ninja clan or geniuses from civilian backgrounds. It is not easy to get them to abide by discipline.
However, the old man standing on the podium did it, and he did it not by punishment or threat, nor by any promise of reward.
Because the old man's name is Sarutobi Hiruzen, who is also the current principal of the ninja school and the Third Hokage who is highly respected and admired by children.
"The will of fire, where the leaves dance, the fire will also continue to grow. The flames will continue to illuminate the village and make new leaves sprout."
Sarutobi Hiruzen walked on the podium, glanced at the tender cheeks below, smiled and said gently: "I guess Teacher Fujiki mentioned it in the last class."
He looked at the teacher in the last row, and saw that he nodded like a chicken pecking at rice, then he retracted his gaze and looked at everyone and asked: "So, can someone explain what this sentence means?"
After saying that, he looked at the golden hair that overwhelmed the yellow light of the classroom as if he had just discovered Kushina and Minato standing behind him.
"Oh." Sarutobi Hiruzen squinted his eyes and smiled very kindly: "Why are there still people standing there? Why don't you go back to your seats to listen to the class?"
"Third Hokage-sama, they were late because of being late, so I punished them..." Fujiki quickly stood up and explained.
"Oh, that's it." Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded suddenly, and then looked at Minato and the others with a flickering look, and his squinting eyes covered the strange color in them.
His eyes stayed more on Kushina, thinking of the information Jiraiya sent back with the Ninja Frog last night, and watching Minato on the side, he made a little calculation in his mind.
There are suspected survivors among the Uzumaki clan.
Their attitude towards Konoha is very likely to turn hostile.
Sigh , I suddenly feel that it is a bit difficult, and I can only give it a try.
"I remember you kids. I heard that your dream is to become a Hokage?"
Sarutobi Hiruzen calculated in his heart, and the smile on his face was still kind, which made people subconsciously feel good about it. He said to Minato and Kushina: "Both of your excellent children. In this case, it's up to you to answer."
"What does the will of fire mean, and why do you want to be Hokage?"
"If one of you answers correctly, I will let you sit back in your seats and listen to the class."
