🕑 Added 2024-06-18 12:57:11 +0000 UTCChapter 75: Pull the ship over!
Amid the sobbing whistle, the blood-red sea water in the distance surged in, hitting the hull, making a sound, and the sea breeze carried a wet and salty smell.
On the other side of the sea, several huge ships broke through the calm sea, riding the wind and waves, leaving spindle-shaped ripples.
At the center of those ships is a floating fortress.
The shapes of the fortresses and ships are very strange, like complex multi-faceted towers.
And Compared with that fortress, even Kumokawa's largest cargo ship is nothing compared to it.
Kumokawa could even see gun barrels and tracks, as well as more areas of unknown use. Obviously those ships were not commercial, but warships used in the military field.
"Good stuff, I like it so much." Kumokawa narrowed his eyes, "If I remember correctly, it should be called the Kingdom of Sky, and there is also a Sky Ninja Village, right?"
In the vague memory, Sky Ninja The leader seems to be called "Shinnō", and he created a monster named "Zero Tail", which caused quite a stir.
Zero-Tail's power and appearance are derived from the darkness in people's hearts. The power of the energy heavy cannon is better than the Tailed Beast Bomb of most tailed beasts.
The most important thing is that he seems to be planning to attack Konoha now?
"It's interesting." Kumokawa blinked, turned around and walked outside, "Then let's go say hello."
However, looking at the sword left by Kumokawa on the table, Nagato subconsciously reminded him : "Brother, your sword..."
"That's not my sword, it's just a souvenir for Yahiko."
Before Nagato could finish his words, Kumokawa turned his back to him, waved his hands indifferently, and said with a smile: "Pull the ship over."
After Kumokawa left the room, Nagato stood there for a moment and looked at Yahiko who appeared at the door.
"Did you hear that?"
Nagato picked up the sword, stretched it out in front of Yahiko, and said expressionlessly: "Don't let me look down on you."
———
At the same time, at the last moment, On the ship ahead.
The signal light on the edge of the runway was flashing, and two sky ninjas were squatting on the ejection device with strange wings on their backs.
In the tower at the top, a sky ninja was paying attention to the wind direction and was preparing to issue flight instructions.
However, when he looked into the distance, he suddenly paused.
"Captain Tori!" He leaned his head out of the window and shouted loudly, "There's a merchant ship ahead, and it doesn't seem like they have any intention of turning around and retreating. What should we do?"
On the ejection runway of the flight deck below, Tori that was originally directing the flight stopped.
"Merchant ship?"
After hearing the voice from the tower above, a flash of surprise flashed in Tori's eyes. He gestured to stop temporarily, then picked up a pair of binoculars and looked up.
The black spots that appeared in the front were enlarged, and they were clearly three commercial cargo ships.
"What's going on?"
Looking at the unfamiliar merchant ship, the leader of Sky Ninja frowned and couldn't help but said to himself: "Lord Shinnō calculated that there should be no merchant ships on this route at this time."
They are now on the route from the port of Country of Yu to the coastline of Country of Fire, preparing for a surprise attack on Konoha.
Naturally, it would be best to pass smoothly all the way.
However, now a group of unplanned merchant ships suddenly appeared...
"Forget it."
Tori rubbed his chin and said jokingly: "I was born a pirate, so I'm good at what I do."
After saying that, he slowly raised his hand. The surroundings fell into silence and people held their breath.
On the entire deck, the only sounds that could be heard were the noisy wind and the sounds of equipment ready to go.
"Get rid of that fleet!"
Tori suddenly waved his arms and shouted at the two sky ninjas: "Let's go!!"
Bah! Bah!
The flying device ejected instantly and made a harsh noise as it rubbed against the track.
It flew up like a migratory bird, rushed out of the deck with great force, turned into two shuttle-like lights and shadows, and rushed towards the queue of merchant ships in the distance!
"Huh!"
Two sky ninjas were flying in the air, their wings cut through the mist across the sky, and they shouted loudly: "Take off smoothly! Execute the mission!"
Under the control of the wind chakra released by the two, the cold wind was forced into a shuttle shape on the upper and lower sides of the wing.
This is the flying ninja tool that they are proud of. It is powered by users own chakra, and its turning and flying are both controlled by chakra.
In the entire ninja world, flying ninjutsu is a very rare ability. The most famous flying ninjutsu is undoubtedly the one used by the Third Tsuchikage,Onoki, of Iwagakure Village called Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique.
Having the ability to fly brings a huge advantage. When encountering highly mobile ninjas with the ability to fly on the battlefield, the party without the ability to fly will often fall into passivity.
They could only yell and curse incompetently from below.
In the eyes of the two Sky Ninjas, this time was no exception..
But as they approached the leading merchant ship, they suddenly heard a shrieking wind.
"What's going on?"
The sky ninja felt a slight tremor in the flying device and subconsciously looked at the merchant ship beneath him.
Then, he saw a scene that made his hair stand on end!
It was a figure, and the rays of light from the sky fell on that person's face. In those eyes, there was a deeper scarlet color than the sunset.
"Is that a flying ninja tool?" The man's somewhat distressed voice echoed in his ears with the sound of wind, "It feels really troublesome."
After the words fell, the two sky ninjas suddenly stopped in the air and felt a strong suffocation.
The eye of the wind seemed to appear under their feet, rolling up the smoke and making a roaring sound, swallowing up all the air and giving birth to a storm!
Probably only in the center of the storm can you hear such a screaming wind.
Under the surging strong wind, the man's clothes were raised like black wings.
Then, the wind suddenly exploded!
Bang!!
The air seemed to have been blasted by someone's brutal punch, and a violent and turbulent air flow rushed towards his face.
In an instant, the blurry and elongated figure stretched out its hand, and the two sky ninjas were torn apart in shock.
Snap!!
Along with the golden fragments of the flying ninja tool, the body of the sky ninja was broken directly from the abdomen, revealing the pale spine, and the rotten flesh and blood splattered in the air!
It seemed like a beautiful flower was blooming, spreading and falling like smoke, and it looked like a red rain was falling.
——
"Those two young men are pretty good!"
On the ship, Tori put the telescope in front of his eyes and saw the two people smoothly controlling the flying ninja tools. He praised them in a low voice without hesitation: "Let's talk to Lord Shinnō later. Maybe they can be trained..."
But in the next moment, a sudden explosion interrupted his next words.
BANG!!
In the gray-black eyes of Tori, there seemed to be a spark rising into the sky in the distance.
Then, the stagnant pupils were suddenly filled with blood, and the two sky ninjas he was optimistic about turned into two blood flowers in the air.
Rotten flesh and blood exploded and rained down like fireworks, while a scarlet color spread like a halo, dyeing the dim sky into flesh-like scarlet!
