In the fortress called "Ancor Vantian", there is an underground center covered with strange runes.
"Lord Shinnō, the supplies and sacrifices are all ready!"
A sky ninja knelt on one knee and bowed his head respectfully, saying, "We will reach the coastline of the Land of Fire. Captain Tori is now assembling the troops outside."
"Well."
Shinnō stood in front of a huge vertical instrument, staring at the special instrument that looked like a tombstone, and said calmly, "Well done."
No, he was not looking at the instrument.
Instead, the instrument was wrapped in yellow colloid, and several colloids were attached to the surrounding like tentacles, supporting the "silkworm chrysalis" suspended in the air.
Gulp! Gulp!
The "silkworm chrysalis" was emitting a faint glow, beating regularly like a heart.
Through the transparent yellowish colloid on the surface, you can vaguely see the strange creature curled up inside.
It has a thick and soft black body like a big snake, but on its head is a white mask with the word "zero" written on it.
Bright lights shone from above, illuminating every detail of the mask.
The vermilion lips and the narrow, upturned eyes.
In the transparent gelatinous tube, black matter was flowing, nurturing the monster in the cocoon.
It was even obvious that he was undergoing some kind of transformation.
However, due to insufficient energy, he was dormant like a snake creature at the moment.
"This is Zero Tail·Nothingness, what a powerful force!"
The sky ninja had already raised his head, and there was only expectation and admiration in his eyes when he looked at the monster.
"Hehe."
Shinnō smiled without turning his head, staring at the Zero Tail with fiery eyes, and said in a low voice: "With it, we have power comparable to the tailed beasts, and we can use it to bury Konoha completely!"
With the unique air force in the ninja world and the Zero Tail that can destroy a mountain with just one blow.
There is also "Ancor Vantian", the secret fortress of the sky ninja village, a city that can fly in the air.
The small living space is no longer worthy of his expanding ambition. This time he will definitely make a name for himself in the ninja world!
Since he has decided to do it, of course he will do it to the extreme.
That's why he chose Konoha as his target. Other small countries are not within his consideration.
He doesn't like them.
"By the way." Shinnō seemed to have thought of something, and turned to look at the sky ninja behind him, "Remember to collect more sacrifices along the way as a backup..."
The moment the voice fell, a huge explosion sounded.
Boom!!
Even Shinnō, who was deep in the underground center, could feel the violent vibration.
It was like a big hand grabbed the fortress and shook it wildly. An unparalleled force swept through the entire interior, causing the sky ninja who was kneeling on one knee to sway.
"What's going on?!"
The sky ninja bent down on the ground to stabilize his body, and looked up at the only exit in doubt.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The red and blue light illuminated the walls on both sides of the darkness, and the ringing alarm bells intertwined into a hurried music.
Shinnō stood there with steady steps, and the shock did not shake him at all.
"Enemy attack alarm?" He frowned and looked at the sky ninja, "What are you standing there for? Why don't you go and see what's going on?"
They were all going to the Land of Fire, how could such an accident happen?
"...Yes, Lord Shinnō!"
The sky ninja came back to his senses, lowered his head quickly, and assured: "Please rest assured, all the soldiers who can be used are here. Even if it is an attack organized by five great countries, we can stop it for a while!"
———
At the same time, dozens of sky ninjas quickly rushed to the middle level of Ancor Vantian, making the already very quiet and narrow space crowded for a while.
Looking around, almost every sky ninja held a standard kunai gun in his hand. After loading the gun and checking the kunai ammunition, he carried it behind his back and moved to the upper level.
The alarm meant that they were under attack. Knowing this, every sky ninja looked very serious, but not timid.
Now they were extremely eager to fight and wanted to gain the right to speak through fighting.
No matter who the enemy was, they all...
"Ah!"
"No!!"
"No! Don't kill me!!"
"How is it possible?! What is this..."
Before these sky ninjas rushed to higher floors, they suddenly heard sounds from above, a continuous sound of gunfire and shrill roars.
The noisy sounds came one after another, but after just a short moment, they fell into silence again.
"What's going on?" A sky ninja blurted out with a look of astonishment, "What happened to the people up there?"
The most basic defense deployment of the fortress is the first team on the top floor. The enemy must have come down from above.
But it has only been a few minutes since the alarm sounded. In a few minutes, the enemy has killed everyone on the way down from above?
You must be kidding.
It takes several minutes to walk up the stairs!
In that inexplicable sense of panic, the sky ninja in the front stopped first, and the sky ninjas behind also stopped.
In the gradually silent space, heavy breathing sounds overlapped.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
All the sky ninjas heard a dull sound.
It was obviously a heartbeat.
A heartbeat so powerful that it could not match any living creature!
The next moment, as the heartbeat gradually approached, a figure appeared in front of them under the incandescent light in the distance.
It was a half-grown boy in a black robe.
But when they saw him, no one spoke, just stared at him blankly.
Tick-tick...tick-tick...tick-tick...
The boy's right hand tightly grasped a scarlet blade, which was obviously used to cut all the way down from the high floor. The blood dripping on the ground made them feel creepy.
And in his left hand, he dragged a somewhat weird "centipede", leaving a terrifying and dazzling dark red bloodstain on the ground.
When they saw the intruder, they should pull the trigger and kill him when the distance between the two sides was perfect!
But incomparably strange, there was no gunshot.
These sky ninjas just stared at the "centipede" with stagnant breathing, and their hot brains that were originally prepared to fight the enemy had become blank.
Because, that was not a "centipede".
It was a pale and scarlet spine, and the head connected to it was held in his hand.
Bang! Bang...
His hand holding the head loosened, and the head fell directly to the ground, making a dull and oppressive sound, which made the sky ninjas tremble.
"You rushed to me as soon as we met. Can't you tell the difference between you and me?"
Kumokawa stared at them with his dark blue eyes, and his gentle voice revealed a chill.
No wonder these guys were beaten by Konoha, the world at the bottom of the well was everything.
The wrong perception of power blinded their eyes.
"Although I understand, I'm already annoyed."
He frowned and said softly: "It’s very difficult for me to step on an ant without crushing it."
"I'll say it for the last time."
"If you don't want to die, get out of the way."
