"Mr. Tsukimi Sato!"
In the conference room of Uzushio Village Building, Uzumaki Tetsuya held Kumokawa's hand, shook it crazily and said with tears of gratitude: "Thank you! Thank you so much!"
Behind him, there were a group of somewhat embarrassed Uzumaki ninjas, looking at the scene in the distance in silence and bewilderment.
"You don't have to do this."
Faced with Uzumaki Tetsuya's exaggerated and abnormal performance, Kumokawa just smiled and shook his head: "Although I want to congratulate you all for escaping the disaster temporarily, but..."
"I'm afraid, Kirigakure's main force is already at the border and they are rushing here."
At this point, Kumokawa paused, looked at the silent clan elders and ninjas, and asked, "So, do you have any countermeasures?"
As soon as he said this, The smile on Uzumaki Tetsuya's face froze, and he looked at the clan elder beside him with a sad face.
As a famous family that specializes in sealing techniques, the actual size of the clan is not large, and most of them are civilians who do not know how to use ninjutsu.
Basically, all the ninjas are in Uzushio Village.
The scale of Uzushio Village is completely incomparable to that of Konoha. It is really just a village.
And because the longevity of the people of Uzushio Village, it is called a longevity village, the number of middle-aged and elderly people is even more than that of young people.
Again.
The village cannot be defended.
The gap in military strength is too great.
"No matter what, thank you for your help."
Uzumaki Haruka's expression on the side was very indifferent. He was not as overjoyed or sad as Uzumaki Tetsuya. He showed the calmness that a clan leader should have and said: "Compared to Konoha who is being ungrateful and unscrupulous for profit, you have done enough."
Upon hearing this, complex expressions mixed with anger and sadness flashed in the eyes of the clan elders and ninjas.
Allies with decades of alliances looked at them with cold eyes, but strangers came to their aid, giving them a glimmer of hope in the face of Kirigakure's killing spree.
This is really...ridiculous.
"But, I have one last request."
After a moment of silence, Uzumaki Haruka suddenly spoke, exhaled deeply, and said with a deep look in his eyes: "I wonder if you can agree."
It seemed that Kumokawa saw his intentions and his expression became serious and said: "Please speak."
"If you can..."
A flash of pain flashed in Uzumaki Haruka's eyes, but he thought of his daughter again in his mind, and the expression on his face changed again. He became decisive and said in a low tone: "I would like to ask you to accept the people of the Kingdom of Whirlpool."
"If you can agree, we are willing to give you all those sealing techniques to repay your kindness."
As soon as these words came out, the entire conference room atmosphere instantly fell into dead silence, and the breathing and heartbeats of everyone present seemed to have stagnated. Immediately, some people subconsciously wanted to speak out to dissuade him.
"Haruka! We haven't reached that point yet!"
"Lord Patriarch, how could we..."
"That's enough!" Before the noisy people could finish speaking, Uzumaki Haruka glanced at them coldly, and said in a cold voice "Let's accept the reality, we have no choice now!"
The slightly cold words stung the nerves of everyone present.
They all already understood that the existence of the Uzumaki clan was feared by many people.
Maybe it's because of their powerful sealing techniques, or maybe it's because of the special nature of a clan and a country...
It's not just Kirigakure who wants them dead, the Country of Fire and even Konoha also want it. The trust between the two countries has been broken, and in the eyes of the Fire Nation daimyo, they will become a "threat".
Even if Kirigakure can be defeated this time, there will be Iwagakure and Kumogakure next time. The Uzumaki clan without protection will inevitably be crushed into dust by the war.
The demise of the Kingdom of Whirlpool has become inevitable, leaving only "escape" as an option.
"How many people in the Kingdom of Whirlpool need to be evacuated?"
Kumokawa did not agree just because of Haruka's words, but asked very rationally, and then said: "If there are too many people, their whereabouts may be exposed."
But after hearing Kumokawa's words, Haruka felt relieved.
At least this mysterious young man is not a sloppy person.
But in fact, Kumokawa himself had similar ideas, just waiting for them to come up with them.
It is very important to distinguish between active and passive.
The Country of Whirlpool took the initiative to make a "request" to him.
But if Kumokawa proposed it on his own initiative, it would be "taking advantage of others".
"Tetsuya."
Uzumaki Haruka looked at Uzumaki Tetsuya who was slumped on the chair, hesitated for a moment, and finally looked at him and sighed and said: "Counting you, there are still many old, weak, women and children who need to be evacuated?"
"Ah? Ah..."
Upon hearing this, Uzumaki Tetsuya was stunned for a moment, then seemed to come to his senses and slowly sat upright with his limp and trembling body.
"In the battle just now, hundreds of people have been killed or wounded."
He took out a handkerchief from his arms and wiped his sweat, thinking slowly and in a trembling voice: "Now, including me, there are about two thousand people, but ..."
At this point, he suddenly paused and looked up at Uzumaki Haruka with an ugly smile on his face: "Not counting me, there are about one thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine."
"...What?"
Uzumaki Haruka looked at him in astonishment, the most incompetent and timid playmate among all the people he had grown up with. For a moment, he couldn't tell whether the meaning of his words was what he understood.
"Haruka, what's that look in your eyes?"
Uzumaki Tetsuya wiped the sweat from his forehead, his fat belly undulated slightly, and kept the ugly smile on his face: "I am an incompetent guy, a coward, even myself I don’t know why I climbed to this position, always hiding behind everyone and never making my own decisions. I always accept the status and tasks given by others. "
“But, at least this time, I want to make my own decisions."
He looked up at the people in front of him, exhaled, and his expression gradually became calmer and said: "Yes, that's right, I am incompetent and timid, but... I am not cowardly."
"As the clan leader, Haruka you can go to death, why can't I go to death? So, you can take others, not me..."
Snap!
Before the aura-filled daimyo could finish his words, a cane hit him directly on the forehead, leaving a red stick-like mark on it.
"Hiss!"
Uzumaki Tetsuya gasped in pain, turned to look at the old man beside him, covered his head and almost cried: "Great Elder, why did you hit me?!"
"Yes. It’s you, little bastard, what are you talking about?”
The clan elder looked even angrier than him. He waved his cane and cursed:“If we old guys abandon the land that our clan has protected for generations and run away.”
"How can we old guys go down to see our ancestors in the future?"
