The daimyo's instant change of respectful attitude made Uzumaki Haruka's eyes twitch.
But Uzumaki Tetsuya himself didn't care at all, he just looked at Kumokawa expectantly and flatteringly.
The boy in front of him who looked very young had already hinted at his strength and the identity of the boy with blindfolded eyes.
He may not know about the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the mist very well, but he knows the Chinoike Clan very well.
That was a large clan that had continued from the Warring States Period to the present day. It was once comparable to the Uchiha clan and had a very powerful Bloodline Limit, the Ketsuryūgan. (Bloodline Limit = Kekkei-genkai)
How could a person who could kill the chinoike clan member be a simple boy?
And this attitude also made Kumokawa look at him a second time, thinking that the people in the Uzumaki clan were not all stupid, there were also smart people who were adaptable and well-rounded.
But...
"I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint you."
Kumokawa stretched out five fingers in a funny way and said calmly: "After learning about Kirigakure's plan, in order to hide my whereabouts and ensure speed, I only brought fifty with me this time."
These fifty people are actually a quarter of "Akatsuki's" combat strength. It is impossible for him to take everyone with him in this chaotic period.
But everyone who didn't know the truth had a trace of disappointment in their eyes.
"Fifty people..."
Uzumaki Tetsuya was like a deflated balloon, lying on his back weakly on the chair, but he still thanked you with a wry smile: "Thank you for your assistance and comfort, but even Kirigakure's advance team has hundreds of people..."
If they could defeat Kirigakure's advance troops, It would be enough for them.
As long as we are not tied up like now, we can have more time and energy to regroup, and we can also evacuate the old, young, women and children who have no fighting capacity.
The pure bloodline of Uzushio Village will not be completely cut off, and the ugly face of Konoha can be exposed to the world. Mito-sama and Kushina will not be kept in the dark.
But now, it's impossible...
Kirigakure's ninjas are rich in experience, and their ninjutsu and secret techniques are also stronger.
In comparison, the Country of Rain is just a small country with wild ninjas. If the number of people is equal, they may be defeated directly, not to mention the difference is still ten times.
The gap is too big.
"It seems that you all have some misunderstandings about our identities."
Regarding the disappointment of Uzumaki Tetsuya and others, Kumokawa did not mind this. He just sat there and chuckled: "We are not ninjas in the traditional sense. I prefer to call them warriors, or... monsters."
After that, he waved to Nagato who was standing beside him.
"Brother."
In front of outsiders, Nagato did not get as close as before. Instead, he knelt down on one knee and bowed his head respectfully next to Kumokawa's seat.
Seeing this, Kumokawa, who was about to get up, paused, smiled helplessly and shook his head.
But soon, his expression became serious, and he slowly stretched out a finger.
Place it gently in front of Nagato's forehead, like a god facing his believers, feeling inexplicably solemn and sacred.
"Nagato." Kumokawa lowered his eyes and asked, "Are you willing..."
"I am willing."
Before Kumokawa could finish speaking, Nagato lowered his head and said in a deep voice: "It's not for the country of whirlpool. But for my brother, for the future we hope for."
After being interrupted, Kumokawa couldn't help but chuckled and said: "You kid... It seems that I am not so determined."
After that, he stretched out his hand. The finger that was pulled out had a bloody long deep cut on its fingertip.
The next moment, mellow red blood oozed from the bloody long deep cut.
"..."
The conference room was actually very quiet, but from the moment they saw the drop of blood, everyone present subconsciously held their breath, focusing only on the drop of blood, and even the sound of breathing was difficult to hear.
All they could hear was their uncontrollable heartbeat, beating hard in their chest.
In the reflection of everyone's pupils, it was simply liquid red crystal.
And while everyone was stunned in place, Kumokawa's fingers gently touched Nagato's forehead.
The drop of concentrated blood instantly touched his forehead.
Like plum blossoms blooming in winter, the liquid slowly flows along the texture and is gradually absorbed by Nagato's skin.
"Ah!!"
Even though Nagato was mentally prepared and expected it, the severe pain that seemed to tear him apart made him scream hysterically in an instant, and he curled up and collapsed to the ground.
Although he has endured all kinds of pain, this is pain originating from his genes and even from the depths of his soul. No pain can compare with it!
"What's going on?!"
Uzumaki Haruka also came to his senses, looked at Nagato in shock, and subconsciously wanted to help him up.
But Kumokawa stretched out his hand to stop him, shook his head and said calmly: "If an egg is cracked from the outside, it is destined to be eaten."
"Only if he pecks it open from the inside, What comes out may be an eagle. "
The drop of "blood" he gave to Nagato is the highest level of "blood" so far, and it is different from other people's "blood".
But Kumokawa believed that Nagato's will be able to withstand this power.
"Ho ho!"
Nagato seemed to have heard Kumokawa's voice, and his teeth clenched together.
The pale and childish face was distorted into something ferocious, and the teeth in his mouth began to show signs of sharpening.
Soon, his heart began to beat and contract violently, and the heartbeat sound even echoed outside his body.
Boom! Boom!
Nagato felt as if his body was melting like ice. A stream of hot blood was being transmitted to all parts of his body by his beating heart. The surging blood in his blood vessels seemed to turn into hot magma.
A large amount of skeletal muscles began to dissolve under the influence of blood, and then muscles were torn and reshaped by an absolute force. The muscle fibers were entangled like ropes and solidified under the surface of the skin, and similar transformations were carried out everywhere in the body.
Pain, pain that tears the body apart, pain that touches the soul.
But Nagato now knew very well that it was what he had always longed for.
It was also the...power given to him by his brother!
Power flowed through the blood vessels and bones like magma, and the body temperature rose to a level that could be called scalding hot.
He needs to vent this power.
How to vent?
Nagato seemed to see scarlet thorns swelling in his eyes, and at this moment he finally understood the true power of his awakening.
——As long as you treat thorns as a field covered with flowers, nothing in the world can hurt you.
Bang!!
Looking at the extremely tall enemy in front of him, Nagato's face was filled with an inhumanly ferocious expression.
The back behind him exploded with blood like iron scales, and the formidable scarlet thorns grew out like wings of flesh and bone.
"Blood Demon Art: Flying Blood Citrus Thorn!"
