Naruto villian template chapter 61
🕑 Added 2024-06-04 12:26:00 +0000 UTCChapter 61: The Kingdom of Whirlpool is our beloved relatives and friends!
There was perfect silence in the conference room, like the bottom of a lake where even the water surface is still.
People seem to be able to hear their own breathing and even a faint heartbeat.
"Everyone here knows that since Lord Hashirama founded Konoha, the Country of Whirlpool has been our important ally."
After a moment of silence, Hiruzen Sarutobi took the lead in breaking the silence and said sincerely: "Now the Country of Whirlpool is in crisis. I think we in Konoha have an obligation to lend a helping hand. "
“Obligation? "
Isn't it a responsibility?
The eyes of the Nara clan leader flickered slightly, already understanding the Hokage's tendency.
What is the difference between obligations and responsibilities?
Obligation is the behavior that should be done, and responsibility is the behavior that must be done.
Obligation is the prerequisite for the existence of responsibility. Only when a person fails to perform or does not fully perform his obligations, that person is responsible.
Therefore, the prerequisite for taking responsibility is that this matter is really an "obligation".
These were Sarutobi Hiruzen's words.
Since he is a good guy.
It's time for the bad guys to come out.
"Third Hokage, I don't agree with your idea."
Danzo behind him spoke at the right time, and said in a calm tone: "We in Konoha are now facing the threats of the three kingdoms, Kingdom of earth, wind and rain at the same time, not to mention whether we can spare some of them. Even if we can use our troops to assist the Kingdom of Whirlpool..."
"How can we face the attacks from the four kingdoms, Kingdom of wind, earth, water, and rain at the same time? Why don't we wait until the troops of the Kingdom of Water have a scalp in the Kingdom of Whirlpool? Take action..."
"Danzo!" Before Danzo could finish his words, Sarutobi Hiruzen frowned and interrupted, "How can you say such a thing the Country of Whirlpool is our beloved relatives and friends!"
Mitokado Homura on the side also tugged on Danzo's sleeves and gave Danzo a look to tell him to look around the corner.
"We can't let our relatives and friends die!"
But Danzo didn't even look at it, and said bluntly without giving in: "The prerequisite for assisting the Country of Whirlpool is that we really still have the troops, energy and strength to go."
"So, do we really have that?"
After saying that, he glanced directly at the people in front of him, his iron-gray eyes were like carrion-eating vultures, and those who were caught couldn't help but feel a chill in their hearts.
There is no doubt that Danzo's soul question touched the hearts of everyone present.
If Konoha still had extra troops to support the Kingdom of Whirlpool, Hiruzen Sarutobi wouldn't have ripped them off just now.
If you really decide to support the Kingdom of Whirlpool, you will definitely be asked to continue to support until the end.
"This..."
Sarutobi Hiruzen looked troubled, looked up at everyone present, and asked with earnest eyes: "What do you think?"
With Danzo, the "bad guy", taking the lead, and considering his own interests, Everyone who originally insisted that silence is golden seems to have found their backbone in an instant.
"Yes, Third Hokage-Sama."
Hyuga Fumito stood up and said with sadness in his tone: "It's not that we don't want to help the Country of Whirlpool, it's that we ourselves are too busy to do anything, and now it's really... Sign! There's really nothing we can do!"
" Elder Danzo is right. Now facing the threats of the Kingdom of Rain, Kingdom of Wind and Kingdom of Earth at the same time, we are already trying our best. If we add the Kingdom of Water, which is also a big country..."
The leader of the Nara clan nodded and said rationally: "With all due respect, it is not a wise choice to use the power of one village to fight against the three major ninja villages at the same time."
What Danzo said about "one against four", although it sounds a bit alarmist, but it is indeed possible.
It took a lot of effort for them to kick the Kingdom of Thunder out. Now if the Kingdom of Water is involved...
"Maybe, the Kingdom of Thunder, which was originally too busy to take care of itself, will not be able to help but take advantage of it when seeing this situation."
An elite jounin with a high voice rubbed his chin and thought: "While we are assisting the country of whirlpool, they can cut off our rear supplies."
"If we are not careful, it will turn into a siege by the four major ninja villages. Our Konohagakure will be in a dangerous situation."
"Yes, Third Hokage-sama, the current situation is not good for our Konoha, and we are about to make a mistake."
Everyone expressed their opinions and talked about the disadvantages of rescuing the country of whirlpool.
Others, such as Akimichi Torifu, who were willing to say good things, fell silent after thinking about sacrificing their own people.
Is the relationship between the Country of Whirlpool and Konoha good?
Of course, it’s great. They have been good allies for generations.
But that was a covenant signed by the Senju clan, and the Senju clan had long since given up their surname and turned themselves into nutrients that nourished the big tree called Konoha.
The only "Senju clan member" present now who has the right to speak is Lady Tsunade, who is the granddaughter of Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito.
Thinking of this, everyone's eyes turned to the corner, looking at Tsunade who remained silent, and they were surprised at how restrained she was today.
According to Tsunade's past character, when Danzo opened his mouth she would have already punched Danzo in the wall.
And now...
Tsunade closed her eyes and remained silent, as if she didn't want to see everyone's ugly behavior.
"Ahem, Tsunade."
Utatane Koharu coughed twice, took a deep breath, and asked in a gentle tone, "What do you think?"
Mitokado Homura who was standing next to her subconsciously moved his steps. It seemed that he was afraid that his old partner's blood would splash on him.
But Tsunade's reaction seemed to be much more stable than they imagined.
"Opinion? What opinion can I have?"
Tsunade raised her unwavering eyes slightly, glanced across Jiraiya's nervous face, and then looked at her teacher Hiruzen Sarutobi and asked: "I just want to know, Third Hokage-sama thinks?"
"You seem to have been asking everyone's opinion, but what do you think of this?"
Looking at his irritable apprentice, Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at her with a headache at this time..
He did not expect that Tsunade's injury would heal so quickly, nor did he expect that Tsunade would come to the meeting with an injury.
In the past, Tsunade didn't bother to watch a group of bad old men talking. If she wants to know any important information, she would directly ask Orochimaru or Jiraiya.
If it weren't for that damn masked man, Jiraiya and Tsunade would be at the border. How could there be so much trouble?
For young people, this scene is a bit too realistic.
However, now that the stage has been set up, the arrow has to be fired.
"My opinion has been expressed a long time ago."
Sarutobi Hiruzen subconsciously took a puff of the cigarette, but suddenly realized that he had not lit it, so he could only show a bitter smile and said: "The Land of Whirlpool is our beloved friends, I naturally hope to provide support..."
At this point, everyone's hearts suddenly tightened, but Sarutobi Hiruzen changed the subject.
"But Konoha is not my alone."
He sighed deeply, looked at Tsunade and said sincerely: "I can't force you to do things you don't want to do because of my own selfish desires."
"If someone is willing, I will do my best to provide them with assistance. "
It's very pertinent, very fair, very objective, very sincere, and very rational.
But in fact, is this really the case?
"..."
Tsunade raised her eyes and looked at everyone with stiff expressions. Everyone turned their faces away with guiltily.
"War is not just playing house. People are bound to die in war."
Danzo also said coldly at this time: "For the benefit of everyone, we have to make compromises. This is for the sake of Konoha. We can't just ignore our people on whims."
The Senju clan and the Uzumaki clan may have had a good relationship, but now there is only one relationship between Land of Fire and the Country of Whirlpool, and that is the trade cooperation relationship between "country" and "country".
Or, in other words, poor relatives who have not been in contact with each other for decades?
War is not a joke, people die in war!
If troops are sent to assist, the people who will die will be their relatives, friends, brothers, sisters, lovers...
It is really a stupid choice to let your relatives die for a group of strangers.
So, was their choice wrong?
Yes, of course, there is no reason for anyone to force them or stand on the moral high ground.
"..."
Upon seeing this, Tsunade suddenly felt something in her chest crack open, and then secrete sour liquid, soaking into the blood vessels and skin.
——That’s the poison called sadness.
Sometimes, she could only feel this painful emotion in her dreams, but now it appeared very clearly in reality.
It was far more painful for her than her right hand being crippled.
