In the forest on the seaside border of the Country of Yu.
Everything you see is lush and lush trees.
But what is revealed on the surface are many human-faced statue pedestals.
This is the so-called "Country of the Sky" and the location of the so-called The Sky Ninja Village, an underground fortress mainly made of stone.
On the stone throne in the main control room of the fortress, a muscular man sat there.
Approximately in his thirties, with long, thick black hair, he looked extremely young and arrogant.
Standing in front of him was a ninja wearing a flight suit and the sky ninja forehead protector.
After listening to the work report of this sky ninja, the middle-aged man sitting on the stone throne inevitably showed disappointment on his face and sighed: "We still can't find an 'energy' that can stably provide energy to 'Zero Tail'."
"I'm very sorry, Lord Shinnō, because the chakra required by 'Zero Tails' is too large. I'm afraid only the legendary tailed beasts can provide a stable and continuous energy supply to 'Zero Tails'."
Facing the apologetic expression of the sky ninja. Shinnō just waved his hand, frowned and lowered his head in thought.
Being proficient in biomedical technology, he was not surprised by this situation.
As the ultimate weapon of the Sky Ninja Village, the destructive power of "Zero Tail" is by no means weaker than those of real tailed beasts.
As long as they can complete the charging of "zero tail", the foundation accumulated by the great powers over time is nothing more than this.
Now that the outbreak of the Second Ninja War is imminent, he originally planned to directly use the power of Zero Tails to launch an aerial attack on Konoha when it was restrained by the great powers.
However, the current situation is somewhat of a dilemma.
Although he didn't want to give up this excellent opportunity, the technology of "Zero Tail" was not perfect yet.
Once the "Zero-Tail" energy is exhausted, half of their The Sky Ninja Village will be destroyed.
"In this case, there is nothing we can do."
After thinking for a moment, Shinnō still refused to give up. He looked up at the Sky Ninja in front of him and said with a cold voice: "The negative spirit and life emitted by human beings can also be used to recharge zero tails.”
"In this case, let's kidnap people from the small country near the Country of Yu. Whether it's hundreds or thousands of people, we must let the 'Zero Tail' be recharged as soon as possible !
"...."
Hearing this, the Sky Ninja couldn't help but be stunned, with a flash of hesitation in his eyes.
There are currently more than a thousand humans imprisoned in the fortress. These humans are ordinary people who were smuggled into the fortress from outside. They are spare "living sacrifices" to provide energy for Zero Tail.
It is enough if it is only used as a "spare", but if you want to complete the charging of Zero Tail with just ordinary people, these one thousand people are not enough, and more humans are needed to provide chakra and vitality.
There are probably countless people who needed to be sacrificed.
"Thrush, let me ask you a question."
Looking at the somewhat unbearable Sky Ninja in front of him, Shinnō gently knocked on the stone chair and asked calmly: "In this world, human beings without sharp teeth and claws are very fragile, but why? Such a world has become a human thing?"
"..." the Sky Ninja came back to his senses, bowed his head respectfully and replied, "I'm sorry for my ignorance, is it because humans can use tools and chakra?
" No, no, no!" Shinnō shook his head, grinned, and whispered, "This is because humans are the most cruel of all creatures!"
"Just to gain a slightly more advantageous status than other species, Human beings gather together to achieve today's prosperity."
"This world is like this, and the great country is like this!"
"We are like this too!"
————
The memory of Uchiha Madara? Being interrupted, he glanced at White Zetsu with some dissatisfaction and said coldly: "Where did this clown come from again?"
"Ah! Lord Madara, I don't know if this matter is important, but Tobi thinks I should tell you."
White Zetsu shivered from the glare, and quickly shook off the blame before continuing to explain: "When I was remotely investigating the movements of Uzushio Village in the Country of Whirlpool, I discovered that men claiming to be Sky Ninjas appeared near the border of the Country of Yu.”
"Actually, I think they are quite weak, but they have many strange inventions, such as ninja tools that can launch projectiles, flying ninja tools that rely on wind release chakra, and flying fortresses hidden underground..."
"According to the investigation, their leader is called Shinnō, who appears to be a doctor with excellent medical skills, but is actually a guy who is proficient in medical ninjutsu. They are preparing a very large amount of materials on the black market..."
"If I guessed correctly, their target should be Konoha!"
White Zetsu gave a complete account of the information he had discovered to Uchiha Madara.
However, Madara did not show the slightest interest in this and sneered: "Another idiot with no strength and empty ambition."
White Zetsu tilted his head, not quite understanding why Lord Madara made such a judgment, but he did not dare to refute.
After all, he felt that those Sky Ninja's ninja tools were quite troublesome, flying around in the sky like troublesome flies.
"...It's boring."
Madara shook his head indifferently, without any intention of explaining to White Zetsu.
There has never been a shortage of careerists in this ninja world. The so-called Country of The Sky and Shinnō are not the first careerists to try to challenge the five major countries.
It can be said that this situation lasted for thousands of years, until he and Hashirama relied on their absolute strength to completely end the war between families in the Warring States Period.
The founding of Konoha created the era of one country and one village, and the situation in the shinobi world was in a brief period of peace.
——Madara used to think so, and he used to be proud of Konoha.
However, since he faked his death and escaped from the battle in the Valley of the End, he finally saw the reality of this world clearly.
See clearly this sad world full of hatred, full of violence and desire, full of pain.
The law-abiding behavior shown by all the forces at that time was not restricted by the agreement reached at the Five Kage Talks that year, but only by his and Hashirama's prestige and strength.
As he and Hashirama died "successively", Senju Tobirama, that loser, no longer had the power to maintain peace on his own.
Those guys naturally showed their ugly faces and unscrupulously tore up the so-called agreement and the extremely fragile peace.
The scale of the first ninja war has even exceeded Madara's expectations.
It was no longer a petty family dispute, but it has become a real national war.
The one-country-one-village system is useless. As long as human beings still have desires, real peace will not exist.
Therefore, when Madara heard the news about the Country of The Sky from White Zetsu's mouth, he was not surprised at all. Instead, he thought that it was reasonable for such a thing to happen and it was not worth making a fuss about.
Because of this, he felt even more resentful towards Hashirama's betrayal.
"The original intention of establishing Konoha was to protect my companions and family!"
"If my clan can follow me, how can we not be 'Uchiha'? If we are still together, where can we not be 'Konoha'?!"
"Now this, Everything is enough to prove..."
"Hashirama, I am right, you are wrong."
A trace of sadness flashed in Uchiha Madara's eyes, and he whispered: "The one-country-one-village system we established at the beginning is now just a repetition of the tragedy of the Warring States Period..."
The three tomoe in his eyes gradually dissipated, and the black pupils became cloudy and sluggish. At this time, he looked like an old man, reminiscing about the past and old friends.
As long as humans are alive, struggle is inevitable.
There will be hatred and pain.
This curse cannot be broken by humans at all.
"Unlike you who are content with the status quo, I am on the road to seeking peace."
Madara slowly closed his eyes and whispered: "So, I will definitely complete the Eye of the Moon plan."
No matter what the price of peace may be, everyone will no longer experience any pain and sadness in the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
