Tick tock...tick tock...
With the faint moonlight shining in from outside the door, Fogdu tightly clenched the kunai in his hand, and his pupils trembled slightly as he looked at the boy in front of him.
Even though he was wearing a sharp black windbreaker, his unchanged face, the black bandage covering his eyes, and the cold light, couldn't hide the greenness in his bones.
When he heard the other party calling his name, Fogdu felt as if his teeth were hollowed out, and his whole body felt a frightening pain.
"Who the hell is this kid?"
Fogdu was thinking in his mind whether he had seen it before, but he had no memory or impression at all.
He was very confident in his memory and vision. If he saw correctly, the boy in front of him was the same age as his son who stayed in the Country of Fire.
4-5 years old.
Such a young boy has a cold aura that is completely inconsistent with his youthful appearance. I'm afraid he has more lives on his hands than him.
Fogdu subconsciously thought of those samurai who had been trained by the daimyo to be dead warriors since childhood, but even those walking dead without self were not so cold.
besides......
"When and how was I exposed?"
Fogdu's expression darkened, and as he asked, his eyes began to flicker.
He entered the city with an innocent identity. He lurked for several months without detecting anything unusual. He always stood still and made no move...
Is there some surveillance method that he didn't discover, or some other more secretive measures, or was there something unexpected that he didn't expect?
However, Fogdu was able to survive one infiltration mission after another. A large part of the reason was that he never believed in accidents.
Now that he has been completely exposed, this task may be difficult to complete, so the only option is to escape by force.
Thinking of this, Fogdu tightened his finger muscles and clenched the kunai in his hand, causing the chakra in his body to flow.
"Your acting skills are really good."
Nagato suddenly spoke and sneered: "But those anti-investigation arrangements in your home, the hair placed in the crack of the door, the dust scattered at the door... you have done something wrong, you must be guilty."
Before he finished speaking, Fogdu clasped his hands together and quickly formed seals with his fingers.
Snake! Rat! Bird!
Using his best ninjutsu, he could even see afterimages on his fingers.
Immediately, he slammed the ground, followed by a deafening shout, which resounded throughout the warehouse and the rainy night:
"Earth Style: Falling Earth Spears!"
Click, click, click!!
Mud and stone chips popped up on the ground, but the next moment, the reality was completely different from what he shouted.
There was a loud "boom", and the thick rock wall suddenly rose from the ground, instantly surrounding Nagato!
boom!!
While he was forming seals, or at the same time he was opening his mouth, Nagato crouched down slightly.
Accompanied by the dim black light, the entire figure burst out.
"What a burst of speed!"
Fogdu's eyes suddenly shrank, and he thought to himself: "Were you not disturbed at all?"
The process of a ninja releasing "techniques" is that chakra of different attributes flows through fixed acupoints in different ways.
Any negligence will cause the "technique" to fail or reduce its power, resulting in a waste of chakra.
However, ordinary ninjas cannot perfectly control the flow of chakra, so they need the assistance of "sealing" to convert the refined chakra into "jutsu" and then release it.
By shouting out, it also helps to concentrate and gather energy.
Therefore, many ninjas have the habit of calling out the names of moves, and many ninjas also have the instinct to respond to moves based on this.
Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall.
This is the most proficient ninjutsu in Fogdu arsenal. He is so proficient in it that he does not require sealing. It is comparable to a large-scale ninjutsu when unleashed with full force.
When an average ninja hears "Earth Style: Falling Earth Spears", their subconscious reaction is to jump up and dodge, and then they lose their only chance to pursue him.
But his inexhaustible interference method had no meaning to the kid.
"It doesn't matter.”
Fogdu quickly formed seals with his hands and stared into the distance with his eyes: "Whether it is breaking through the earth wall or jumping out from above, it will inevitably slow him down, and after slowing down..."
While he was thinking, chakra fluctuations appeared all over his body, like air disturbance unique to high temperatures.
Immediately, like ink dripping into an ink bottle, He gradually turned transparent and disappeared into the shadows.
"Bloodline Limit Transparent Release!"
As long as his "Transparent Release" bloodline ability is fully activated, unless they demolish the entire city, sooner or later he will be able to find a chance to escape successfully.
A curve appeared at the corner of his mouth, and Fogdu retreated into darkness.
But that's it.
Poof!!
The howling wind blew up the dust on the ground, and Fogdu felt a sudden sharp pain in his abdomen.
With no time to react, he flew backwards and didn't stop until he hit the wall behind him.
The blood bloomed on the wall like an epiphyllum, slowly flowing down.
The release of ninjutsu was interrupted, and Fogdu's figure appeared, nailed to the wall.
"puff!"
Fogdu vomited a mouthful of blood, and his whole strength seemed to be sucked out in an instant. His lips trembled slightly and he looked down at the source of the severe pain in his abdomen.
He saw a cold dagger piercing through his stomach, with bright red blood and visceral foam on the blade.
"How can it be?"
The smile at the corner of Fogdu's mouth became stiff, and there was a trace of confusion on his face.
How did that kid manage to see him through the stone wall, who was completely transparent and invisible, and then throw a dagger and nail him to death?!
In the distance, Nagato stood on the stone wall, his eyes covered by black cloth seeming to be looking down at Fogdu below him.
"Do you like playing hide and seek with a blind man?"
"But I can smell the stench of chakra on your body even from hundreds of meters away."
There was a touch of sarcasm in his tone, and he arrived in front of Fogdu in the blink of an eye. Looking at the pale and dull old face, he reached out and grabbed the handle of the dagger and stirred it hard.
"Ah!!”
The pain of his abdominal internal organs being torn apart made Fogdu wail, and the real pain that made him tremble and uncontrollable erupted, directly interrupting his small movements of secretly refining chakra.
All his strength was released along the blade, along with his previous confidence and calmness.
The screams almost penetrated the upper and lower floors and spread into the night sky outside the window.
The emptiness of mission failure, the fear of blood flowing....
There was also the regret that he had deliberately ignored before, but suddenly surged out like a sea.
"no no......"
Looking at the executioner in front of him, Fogdu's lips couldn't help but tremble. As his teeth collided with each other, his already dazed brain made him murmur subconsciously: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."
Who is he apologizing to?
Those old friends who have been regarded as his friends, or Kumokawa who gave him a chance?
His life here is actually really good.
He couldn't even tell whether he was hiding or deliberately ignoring the task.
If possible, he would really like to live here, have a family, and have children....
But, it's too late.
"It's boring." Looking at his ugly appearance, Nagato said coldly, "The other guy was just like you, he kept apologizing before he died."
"But an apology like this makes me feel sick."
Poof!!
Amidst Fogdu's hoarse screams, Nagato pulled out the dagger bit by bit without mercy.
Blood splashed on the wall, staining the floating world painting red, like the sea of red clouds and blood in Hell.
