"Oh."
A rebel ninja squatted on the ground, rummaged through the corpse, and complained to his companions behind him without looking back: "If not for Third Mizukage arranged for us to die. I actually quite like that old guy."
"After all, he is really good to us, ninjas with civilian backgrounds, but...instead of letting me face those disgusting sealing techniques, it is better to let me fight with those Uchiha guys..."
Because of his trust in his boss and the "Hidden Mist Jutsu", the Kirigakure rebellious ninja only maintained the minimum alertness to the surroundings.
But it was obvious that his vigilance was far from enough.
"I'm talking to you, are you mute?"
The Kirigakure ninja, who had not received a response from his companion for a long time, frowned and turned back.
Suddenly, his mouth opened slightly, and he felt like his whole body was filled with death.
Enemy...
The last thing that caught his eye was a sharp kunai and the corpse of his companion.
Poof!
"..."
Ayumi's brows inadvertently twitched as she watched Kumokawa disappear like a ghost after killing one person, and then reappear behind another person.
Compared to while he was carrying her to now when he acted alone, his movements were more decisive and neat.
Under the condition of ensuring that it is difficult for the other party to make any sound, Kumokawa only needs to gently insert into the target's fragile brain, then hold the twitching corpse and silently drag it into the shadows.
No one noticed the whole process, and it only took less than a minute to eliminate all the scattered rebel ninjas, just like a silent death god!
In the end, only the rebel leader was left sitting on the stern of the ship, looking into the distance.
"Huh?"
At the same time, the rebel leader's nose suddenly wrinkled, and a look of doubt flashed in his eyes.
Is this blood mist getting a little thicker?
The feeling was as sticky as spider silk blown onto the face by the wind.
"I don't remember using so much chakra to perform the Hidden Mist Jutsu."
After he finished speaking, his pupils suddenly condensed, and he suddenly raised his head, his eyes moving rapidly.
There was a sudden silence on the ship.
Sometimes, an environment that sounds extremely noisy will always become inexplicably quiet in an instant.
In this regard, Kumokawa heard a very strange explanation in his previous life.
——Whenever this happens, an angel is passing by.
But compared to the unknown "angel", Kumokawa felt more like a ghost.
call!!
Behind the rebel leader, a gust of wind suddenly roared, blowing away the lingering blood mist, revealing the ghostly figure!
"..."
The rebel leader's eyes turned hurriedly, and he only saw the sharp blade coming from the flash, but his body could no longer keep up with his consciousness.
He could only sit there like a sculpture, seemingly waiting for the blow in silence.
Bah!
With a slight tearing sound, a line of blood appeared at the throat of the rebel leader.
He instantly raised his hands to cover his neck, but blood still poured out from between his fingers.
thump!
Kumokawa watched him kneeling on the ground without saying a word, but his face surprisingly showed no expression.
His blade cut almost half of the opponent's neck, from the vocal cords, laryngeal chamber to the neck bones, and blood would be choked into the lungs with breathing within tens of seconds.
"Ho ho!" Blood overflowed from the mouth of the rebel leader, and his eyes were full of disbelief. "How is it possible..."
Before he defected, he belonged to Kirigakure Village's "Hunter-nin Corps" and he was the one who led The "corpse disposal team" that everyone is afraid of! (Hunter-nin Corps = corpse disposal team)
It is a special force within the ANBU which is directly under the Mizukage. Each member of the ANBU was an elite who was best at assassination and medical skills. They were ninjas responsible for hunting down traitorous ninjas and disposing of corpses.
Whether it is assassination, pursuit, or fighting, "intuition" is always the first skill they mastered.
They have trained their own "red line" in actual combat again and again. Once they enter this range, they can detect the target and respond instantly.
And his "red line" is five meters.
This means that no individual can approach within five meters of him silently.
There are no exceptions, not even mosquitoes!
But now, he encountered an "exception".
Body flicker technique? Bloodline Limit?
too fast! So quiet!
It was simply difficult for him to understand!
"Ho ho..."
The leader of the rebel ninja held his throat and stared at the boy, feeling like he was looking at a ghost that shouldn't exist.
"The Art of Hidden Mist" didn't sense any sound or chakra. If he hadn't seen it with his naked eyes, he would have found it hard to believe that there was actually a person standing there!
After all, he is also a special jounin who has been through life and death in various dangerous missions and successfully defected.
If he died so comically at the hands of a boy, it would probably make people laugh if he told about it, right?
"Ha." Kumokawa laughed and said softly, "your acting is pretty good."
The next moment, the trembling rebel ninja suddenly froze and stopped making any movement.
Snapped!!
With a crisp sound like a bubble exploding, the "corpse" at Kumokawa's feet turned into a pool of blood.
And behind him, a cloaked figure suddenly emerged from the water, and the kunai in his hand stabbed directly into Kumokawa's heart!
The invisible murderous intention of the rebel ninja leader instantly enveloped Kumokawa!
The kunai wielded by the rebel leader brought up a howling wind, blowing away the blood mist in front of him.
But in the end, only the gray rain curtain and the black shadow in the corner were revealed.
Corpses, all corpses.
There were piles of corpses in the corner, and dark red blood was slowly rising like a pool of water, filling the blood mist that had been blown away.
But where Kumokawa stood, there was no one there!
"Damn it! That brat..."
The rebel leader couldn't help but feel like he was dreaming, as if he had walked into an illusion of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
He cursed in a low voice with some annoyance, but his body honestly held its breath.
The entire ship fell into deathly silence once again, with only the blood mist he had released in front of him, as well as his thunderous heartbeat and rapid breathing.
Beyond this, nothing is seen, nothing is heard, nothing is felt.
"Are you kidding?!"
The angry roar of the rebel leader was full of fear.
The caster of the "Hidden Mist Jutsu" can "perceive" the location of the target through the chakra in the "mist". It is precisely because of this effect that it can perfectly match the assassination technique that it has become the standard ninjutsu of Kirigakure ninjas.
As long as someone uses ninjutsu, chakra fluctuations should be felt.
All of his abilities are extended on the basis of the "Hidden Mist Jutsu".
But now...
poof!
The sound of piercing the flesh was very soft, just like that, it was blown into the rain by the wind.
This time, he never had the chance to use the water clone.
"Ahem... ugh!"
The rebel leader's movements were extremely stiff, and he slowly lowered his head and looked in front of him.
Ring-shaped red lines cracked on the wrists of both arms. As blood spilled down, the two palms gradually slipped and hit the ground.
The fracture of the wrist is smooth and neat, and the texture of the muscles is clearly visible.
The blood-red edge of the kunai was filled with hot air, greedily swallowing air as if it were alive.
This scene made the rebel leader open his mouth wide, but the roar remained in his throat.
"Shh."
Kumokawa gently covered his mouth, his voice like catkins fluttering in the wind: "Can you please be quiet?"
Please don't scare that timid child.
Suddenly, Kumokawa's indifferent face raised a brow.
