Boom!!
The rain was pouring down and the thunder was booming.
One, two, three, four...
six or seven rickety figures staggered over, like wet carrion-eating vultures. They all stared at the Kumokawa trio and greedily looked at their packages.
"The three of them must still have food."
"Look at that kid, he's white and tender..."
"My daughter is dying, please, give me some food."
They kept murmuring and describing what was in their hearts. Desire seems to be whispering under the cover of the rain.
It sounded like the rustle of cold wind blowing through the leaves, but to Yahiko and Konan's ears, it was more like the whisper of a demon biting his lips to suppress desire.
"Damn it!"
Yahiko held an old, rusty kunai with a sharp tip in both hands, and shouted viciously with cracked veins on the back of his hand: "What do you want to do? This is the food we paid for with our lives, no, we can't share it with you..."
His face was full of anger and sadness, but his trembling hand holding the kunai and his chest rising and falling violently like a bellows were telling of his despair and pain.
Just like Kumokawa said, this is "reality".
A world in constant war, a hopeless country...
I thought that the Daimyo of the Land of Rain and the leader of the Hidden Rain Village could protect everyone, but now I find that there is no place for them at all!
Even if he can keep the food, will he continue to live like rats and wild dogs?
Thinking of this, the coldness and despair that penetrated into the bone marrow made Yahiko's hand holding the kunai turn white and weak.
At this moment, some of the refugees who gathered around finally lost their patience.
"Give it to me!!"
In Yahiko's gradually dilated pupils, the figure rushing towards him was reflected.
It was the man who said his daughter was starving and begged him for some food.
In the open mouth were broken teeth and tongue. Some scraps of flesh could be seen between the blood-red teeth, and a piece of bloody... white and tender fingertips.
For a moment, Yahiko, who was already holding the kunai, was stunned.
What should have been a short and terrifying roar seemed to be stretched into a long thread in his ears.
"It's really sad." Someone said, "Unfortunate people always create people who are more unfortunate than themselves."
In Yahiko's brown pupils, a hand with distinct joints broke in.
Each finger was like a tough bamboo joint, gently pressing on that person's face.
"No!" Yahiko's pupils trembled and he shouted subconsciously.
But, it's too late.
In other words, Kumokawa didn't care.
Who do you think You Are? Who do you think I am?
Click, click, click! !
The sound of cracking bones in the rain reached my ears without any cover.
The man didn't even have time to cry out, and the pinched skull gradually began to deform and crack.
Finally, the force limit was exceeded, and it cracked into pieces in the rain. Red and white liquid splashed out, splashing on Yahiko's dull face.
When they met each other, the person in front of them was turned into a corpse.
At this moment, the people who had gathered around him trembled when they heard the loud cracking sound of bones and saw the extremely violent and cruel scene.
However, this is just the beginning.
hiss! !
Before the others could react, Kumokawa gently flipped his right hand, held the dagger in a reverse grip, and swung it at the people in front of him.
In an instant, several heads soared into the sky, with greed still on their faces.
After a brief moment of deathly silence, they fell down like wheat that had been cut, and scarlet blood bloomed like a fountain.
In the blink of an eye, there was only a short and thin figure in front of him, looking at Kumokawa with fear and trembling on his face.
"...Why?"
A sickly color gradually rose on Yahiko's pale face. He looked tremblingly at Kumokawa behind him, who had a calm look on his face, and asked in a dry voice: "They just want to live, how can you ..."
Hearing this, Kumokawa lowered his eyes slightly, looking at him with a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
Is this the original founder of the Akatsuki organization?
What a childish brat.
Living in this hell on earth, such a naive kid, if he hadn't met Nagato, he would have died because his innocence sooner or later, even if he hadn't died because of Hanzo.
Because this is the ninja world, this is hell on earth.
This is the most profound experience he has gained after seeing the world with his own eyes.
The core of the ninja world is "war" and entangled "hate", not the so-called "fetters".
In this world, fighting with others is normal. Killing is like eating. There are also rebel ninja bandits, human experiments, party struggles, annihilation of countries and genocide...
Peace?
That is a luxury that only big countries can enjoy.
They occupy the most fertile and vast area in the ninja world. Even the poorest Sunagakure Village has resources, ninjutsu, secret techniques, and heritage that small countries cannot match...
Bonds?
That is a topic that only the "protagonist" is qualified to talk about.
They (protagonists) live in a home protected by a powerful seal barrier. Among the rich ninjutsu and secret techniques, there is always something suitable for them. Even if they go out of the village to perform tasks, they are still under the protection of their teacher.
Big countries will not fight within their own territory. Instead, they will use small countries as a chessboard and transfer their own country's risks to small countries.
Even so, even if Tsunade is a ninja with the most superb medical skills, her lover Kato Dan will still die in the war. Even if Orochimaru protects Nawaki during the war, he will accidentally fall into a trap and be blown up.
And they are still powerful ninjas from a big country, and they will still experience all kinds of tragic life and death, not to mention the powerless civilians from a small country.
Civilians are too vulnerable in the face of war.
Under the threat of hunger and the fear of death, the prerequisite for killing people and grabbing food is that there is food to grab!
What would they do if there was no food?
thump!
"No, no, don't kill me! Don't kill me!"
Before Yahiko could continue to ask, the remaining person suddenly fell to his knees, trembling and shouting: "I didn't eat, I didn't eat meat! Only they ate it! Seriously, don’t kill me!!”
These words were like a thunderbolt, hitting Yahiko hard on the head.
His face, which had regained some color, turned pale again, and he stared blankly at Tsukimi-sato Kumokawa, who still had a calm expression.
The father and daughter who are about to starve to death don't have the eyes and faces of living people, as well as the remaining flesh and blood between their teeth...
So, have you seen it already?
"You are a selfish and naive brat, praying that everything goes as you wish, shamelessly pretending to be innocent."
Kumokawa narrowed his eyes slightly and sneered: "Maybe you think that after the heavy rain, everything will become clean, whether it's good and bad, you can start over, but I can tell you now."
"No matter how long this rain lasts, it's just a rain, and it will be dirty the next day."
Konan stood silently behind the two of them, they were quietly looking at the hell on earth in the distance. Something that they had been holding on to in their hearts seemed to be quietly broken at this moment.
The flower of hope cannot bloom in such a place soaked in blood.
Thinking in her mind, Konan looked at the figure in front of her.
What does the place where he is look like?
