🕑 Added 2024-04-07 11:16:56 +0000 UTCChapter 3: Only when you have the consciousness to be killed can you be qualified to wield a sword
Bah!
Before the words that came out of Kumokawa's mouth reached his ears, they were muffled by the sharp and harsh sound that broke through the air.
In the gradually shrinking pupils of the scar-faced sand ninja, the cold light broke through the rain curtain like a sword and left a trail, heading straight towards him. The sound cut through the howling of the wind and rain, like the long blast of a horn.
"Damn it!"
While in shock, the scar-faced sand ninja almost out of ninja instinct, pulled the chakra thread connecting the puppet with his fingers.
Click! Kaka!!
The hollow abdomen of the puppet opened instantly, and continuous high-frequency kunai and shurikens were thrown out, forming a large-area indiscriminate attack.
In fear, he fired the hidden weapon at once.
"How many Senbon do you have, and how many times can you hide...and block it?" Seeing this scene, Scar faced Sand ninja couldn't bear to think, but took half a step back. It was no longer clear whether he was asking a rhetorical question or asking himself.
At this moment, even if he didn't want to admit it, he already wanted to quit.
That kid is really evil.
He didn't rely on speed to dodge and approach, but used Senbon to shoot down his hidden weapon from the front.
It's like... he is using him to hone his Senbon Throwing Technique...
He is not one of those pedantic and downtrodden samurai. He does not have the samurai belief to fight to the end. When encountering abnormal situations, he only needs to evacuate safely and report to the higher ups when he returns.
"What's more, the teacher should have noticed something unusual and should be rushing here..."
But when this idea came to the mind of the scar-faced sand ninja.
Buzz! Buzz!!
From the perspective of Konan and Yahiko, they could only see Kumokawa leaping into the air, his figure almost turning into an afterimage under the moonlight.
If his movements before were high-speed movements, they are now faster than before. Yahiko and Konan's current dynamic vision alone could hardly capture his movements of throwing thousands of Senbon.
You can only see the stars blooming like fireworks between the two of them several times.
Sharp versus sharp, a clash of metals.
The smaller Kunai and smaller Senbon triggered a chain reaction in an instant.
A senbon shot down one kunai and broke it into two pieces, but it penetrated the other two kunai in a strange way, causing it to deviate from the original trajectory of shooting towards Kumokawa.
Sparks splashed down like rain, raining down from mid-air to the ground. They were so dense that they formed a continuous sound, making a sharp and piercing metal buzz, causing large ripples of rain.
The broken kunai and senbon were stuck on the ground, and the smooth blade reflected the Sand ninja's fear.
"How is that possible?!"
The scar-faced sand ninja's first reaction was that he met a guy from the Uchiha clan, and he subconsciously looked into Kumokawa's eyes to confirm his suspicion.
However, the expected scarlet color was not seen, nor was the original dark blue color.
Only the cold light reflecting the soft moonlight fell into his peripheral vision from below his side.
At this moment, he instantly realized something.
But he only had time to react, but not enough time to take action.
Under the effect of "aura masking", a sword that is even more silent than a ghost.
With his reaction speed, he could no longer avoid it.
With just one strike, his head can be chopped off.
"This time, I caught you." A hoarse voice also sounded from behind the scar-faced sand ninja.
In an instant, the fear of death occupied the brain and broke the string of reason.
A look of madness appeared on the face of the scar-faced ninja, and only the inhuman animal nature remained in his eyes. The body that had lost the ability to think was driven by instinct to move closer to Kumokawa.
In an instant, Kumokawa was aware of his intention. The horizontal chop that originally was supposed to cut off the head changed from a horizontal chop to a large cassock chop, diagonally downward from the shoulder to the crotch.
Nanaya Assassination Arts:Flashing Scabbard: Monk Imprisoned by Doubts!
Kaka! Click!!
Blooming brilliant sparks, as beautiful as iron trees and silver flowers.
But what fell into stardust was not sparks, but thick blood and pale bone fragments.
The blade with numerous chips in Kumokawa's hand was stuck in the scar-faced sand ninja's chest, and blood continued to flow down his body.
"Ah!!"
After enduring this unimaginable pain, the scar-faced sand ninja wailed from his mouth, his eyes that were about to burst were filled with bloodshot eyes, and his face was twisted and wrinkled.
However, he has realized that what he is facing is not a "ninja" who he can use common sense to judge, but a ghost that has gone beyond the concept of ordinary ninjas!
If I continue to hold on to the assumption that he is harmless, the next thing that will be cut open will definitely be my head!
Therefore, even though his brain was almost overwhelmed by pain, he still tried to grab Kumokawa's blade with his left hand, and at the same time smashed his right elbow into Kumokawa's throat, as if he wanted to exchange injuries for a chance of survival.
At the same time, his fingers flexed and stretched at a microscopic range, and the chakra in his body poured out at this moment.
Kaka! Click!
Behind Kumokawa, the originally motionless puppet had chains as black as snakes sticking out of its two dark robes.
There is also a saw-like blade on the chain that makes strange noises. It spins towards Kumokawa in a weird twisting posture that is impossible for the human body to do. The blade tears the air like a wheel.
If he gets entangled with the chain blade, he will definitely be torn into pieces by the saw-like blade.
Including the Scar Faced Sand Ninja himself.
It's a pity that when faced with the fight between the trapped beasts and the blood and tears, Kumokawa's reply was a smile.
"Avoided?" Kumokawa had a cold and pale smile on his face, lowered his eyes and said softly, "That's okay."
At least, you won't die so easily.
Bang! !
Kumokawa held the handle of the blade with both hands, raised his foot and kicked him on the chin to pull out the blade stuck in the bone.
Nanaya Assassination Arts:Flashing Scabbard: Eight Point!
The chain blade, which was as terrifying as a thorn, was dodged by Kumokawa in a strange manner, and he held the blade at wrong angles and slashed past the scar-faced Sand ninja's side.
Movements that are completely unlike what humans can do, a dance that combines lethality and elegance, blooming with a breathtaking and strange beauty.
This is the "Nanaya Assassination Arts", which can accelerate while standing still and perform actions that ordinary people cannot do at extremely high speeds.
Bah!
At this moment, a wind louder than the night wind blew.
The bright red blood slid down and soaked his face.
A red line gradually crawled across the face, cracking bit by bit, inch by inch, and stopped when it reached the cheekbones on the side of the face.
The bursting flesh overlapped with the ugly scar on his face, and the familiar pain spread inch by inch, finally awakening the pain that he had long discarded deep in his memory.
"Impossible..."
The scar-faced sand ninja opened his mouth slightly, and a hoarse voice full of confusion, death, and despair came out from his throat: "You are... the kid who was killed by me..."
A few months ago, the main war faction of the Kingdom of Rain, headed by Sanshouo no Hanzo, emerged, trying to drive Konoha and Sunagakure ninjas out of the Kingdom of Rain through war and bring true peace to the Kingdom of Rain.
At that time, he received an A-level mission for the first time after becoming a chunin.
The mission requirement is, under the command and leadership of the leading jounin, to assassinate those "family elders" in the Kingdom of Rain who secretly support Sanshouo no Hanzo and other main war factions.
There are usually several "house elders" who assist the daimyo, command samurai, and are in charge of government affairs. They play the role of "big housekeeper" and assist the daimyo in managing political, economic and military activities in a collegial system.
In order to ensure that the Kingdom of Rain continues to serve as a buffer zone and battlefield between the great powers as before, so as to reduce and avoid the impact and harm of war on their own countries, Sunagakure and Konoha tacitly unite with the Daimyo of the Kingdom of Rain and carried out an assassination operation the main war faction and there supporters.
In that operation, he just followed the bounty and merit, but at the teacher's request, he also killed all the family members of one of the "family elders".
If he remembered correctly, the last name of that "family elder" was...
- "Tsukimi Sato".
"It seems you have remembered it."
Kumokawa's somewhat regretful voice came from behind him, sighing: "If you had remembered to finish me, maybe there wouldn't be 'me'."
When Kumokawa first came to this world, he saw a kunai and a face with a sinister smile when he opened his eyes..
From the initial pain and resentment, to despair, nothingness, and death.
It was not until he was in the middle state between death and survival that he established contact with the source and understood the nature of "death" before he struggled to crawl back from hell to the human world.
"If that's the case, maybe I should thank you?" Kumokawa said in a tone that you can't tell whether it was a joke or not.
thump!
As he spoke, Kumokawa gently let go of his hand. The dazed and frightened scar-faced sand ninja relied on instinct and fell to the ground with his hands covering his chest.
"Ahem! Let go, let me go... I don't want to..."
His mouth was still overflowing with blood, but driven by the desire to survive, he was struggling and crawling like a bug.
If a person with good intentions sees this tragic scene, he will definitely feel unbearable and watch him die in silence.
After all, he was just following orders, not...
"Ah!!"
Kumokawa stepped on his bloody back, causing him to howl like a dying animal.
Immediately, Kumokawa gently moved with his toes, causing the Sand ninja who was lying on the ground with his back to him to look up at him.
"..." The scar-faced sand ninja's gradually distracted eyes met Kumokawa's eyes.
Those were a pair of dark blue eyes, reflecting the blood-red rain and fog, but there was no trace of unbearability.
Gradually, the figure in the scar-faced sand ninja's eyes gradually overlapped with the short figure in his memory.
The boy who fell into a pool of blood after scratching his face was looking at him calmly like this now, very focused and serious, as if he wanted to engrave his face in his mind forever...
"Back then Your face was so ugly when we first met. Now that you are going to die, why don't you stop showing such an ugly posture?"
Kumokawa looked down at him and chuckled: "In these last moments, keep watching my face, remember my face."
"If the death of your soul can shine, maybe you can seduce some 'things' like me?"
After that, he lifted the blade from the handle that was almost broken.
"Ahem!" Looking at the blade raised by the young man under the moonlight, the scar-faced sand ninja seemed to fall into a strange peace. He opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but he could only cough up some blood and make a hoarse hiss voice.
Blood gurgled down to the feet along with the rain, and winding ravines formed on the ground. The red rain and mist and the two people looking at each other formed a cruel and strange painting.
Finally, the moment when the painting freezes is when the blade stabs into the heart.
"I will wait for them to come to me for revenge."
Looking at the face that was still filled with resentment, Kumokawa just whispered: "Only when you have the consciousness to be killed only then can you be qualified to wield a sword, right?"
Pfft!
The head with the brain pierced rolled down in a pool of blood, the halo of the moon reflected in the eyes, and the voice echoed in the rain and fog for a long time.
Tsukimi Sato Kumokawa will not make the same mistake as him.
………………
Crack.
I don’t know how long it took.
Amidst the howling of the wind and rain, and the sound of wild dogs tearing at corpses, the sound of footsteps sounded somewhat abruptly.
Then, the painful whimpering of the wild dog was heard. After a crisp sound of bone cracking, the rain fell into dead silence again.
It wasn't until a woman's voice broke the silence.
"Mr. Domu..."
Two figures in raincoats, one tall and one short, stood side by side in the rain, and the most eye-catching thing among them was the short dark red hair in the raincoat.
Next to him was a woman with long brown hair and a look of concern on her face.
"Huh... I know."
There was a coldness in the red-haired man's tone, and the blood vessels in his temples jumped. He threw the silent wild dog aside and took a deep breath and said, "I am starting to feel more and more hate towards this place, even wild dogs dare to show their teeth at me..."
Under his feet, a body that had been bitten beyond recognition by wild dogs lay quietly in a pool of blood.
The corpse was covered with deep traces of bones, the pierced heart was clearly visible, and the wounds were still bleeding with dazzling blood.
The blood flowed like viscous magma, and the viscous red slowly spread and crawled around, like a bucket of red paint poured on it, staining the surrounding ground red under the infiltration of rain.
There was a battle here. As for the person who survived in the end, it was obvious that he was not his husband's student...
"What a cruel guy."
The brown-haired woman took a deep breath, and the anger in her eyes almost turned into substance. Her low tone was full of anger: "The rain here is soaked in the smell of blood."
It felt like the blood turned into mist and rose into the sky.
Turn into dark red clouds and drop bright red rain.
As long as you breathe the air here, it's like you can smell the blood gushing out from the skin as the blade breaks through it.
As long as you look at this scene, you can seem to see his wailing before death and the coldness of the guy's blade.
It's like a traveler walking in the jungle, seeing the corpses of prey that have been torn by wild beasts, and seeing the devoured corpses in front of him.
Even if the predator has long since eaten and left, the traveler will still be frightened by the lingering violence in the air.
"The brain was destroyed. He is a very cautious guy."
The red-haired man called "Domu" squatted down and carefully examined the remaining traces on the body.
Unknowingly, he gradually frowned and said: "... …And there are only scars caused by sharp objects.”
"Sharp weapon?" The brown-haired woman's eyes flickered and her expression was a little solemn. "Is it Konoha White Fang?"
However, the relationship between the four major countries is already very tense. Although they are currently testing each other in the Kingdom of Rain, They have not invaded each other's borders yet, but Sunagakure and Konoha had already deployed garrisons on the border.
She and her husband have not seen Sasori at home for two months. White Fang should be guarding the border like them. Why did he suddenly appear in the hinterland of the Rain Country?
"No, Saori, it can't be Hatake Sakumo."
Domu shook his head and whispered: "Although that bastard's Sakumo is disgusting, but with his honor as a samurai family, he will never choose to torture... and there is no need to torture."
As he spoke, his figure disappeared next to the corpse, came to a place full of mutilated ninja tools, and looked up at the two corpses in the alley.
"A guy who is extremely proficient in assassination techniques, ninja tool throwing techniques and sword techniques." Although most of the traces on the scene have been washed away by the rain, he can still roughly judge the enemy's abilities.
They look more like those ninjas from the Amegakure village of Hidden Rain. They are best at some messy assassination techniques and moves, and sometimes some surprising ninjutsu and talents can appear.
Just when he teleported into the alley, he was about to check on the body.
Bah!
The incomprehensible sound was detected by multiple eyes, and the pupils shrank instantly.
next moment.
boom! !
The explosions of several explosive tags resounded through the quiet rainy night, and the flesh and blood of the corpses scattered and splattered like rain under the impact!
At the same time, in a street corner alley a few kilometers away.
Feeling the faint vibration under his feet, Kumokawa stopped, looked at the thick smoke rising in the distance, and smiled: "I hope you will like my meeting gift."
"I also hope you will not die in White Fang hands before you find me."
