Uchiha Giyu chapter 163
🕑 Added 2024-03-28 09:01:10 +0000 UTCChapter 163 Gift
Kocho Shinobu wanted to continue reading and try to see if she could take the opportunity to analyze Giyu's mental state, but the situation did not allow it.
First, the first article written by Giyu was both "underworld" and "resurrection", so she definitely couldn't share the content with Konan, but leaving Konan where she was seemed a bit too rude.
Secondly, she noticed that Tokito Muichiro's crow was flying from the other side of the river, looking hurried but not too panicked, so she could judge - [ It seems that something did happen, but it did not affect Muichiro's safety. ]
Kocho Shinobu put aside the faint worry in her heart, and then immediately turned into the irritation of parents after discovering that their children did not return home at night.
She quickly flipped through the notebook and found that Giyu had written 400 pages in more than half a year, both writing and drawing, which was not too much, so she ordered:"En, please take this notebook back to the hospital, make a copy, and divide it into several pages. Let my clones read all the parts at the same time. After copying, you bring it back immediately. After all, this is Giyu's gift to Muichiro. Thank you for your hard work."
”Yes."
The notebook weighs half a kilogram, but it can be picked up with one claw. She caught it and flew away. She is now considered a Summoning beast, and this weight is nothing.
Kocho Shinobu estimated that if the three clones read it at the same time, they would be able to read the entire book by tonight at most.
The reason why there are only three clones is because the amount of information taken in by more than three will be very large. When it is released, her brain will be overloaded and produce a strong feeling of fatigue.
Kocho Shinobu was able to learn the knowledge that Orochimaru had accumulated in half his life in just a few years. She relied on the shadow clone double-speed learning method. This is a cheating method that can only be used by people with sufficient chakra.
If it is not about learning knowledge, but simply practicing the sword form of a certain ninjutsu or breathing method, she can even separate thousands of them at the same time to save time.
En left with her front foot, and Muichiro's crow Ginko flew to the bridge with her back foot.
After noticing that only the lower half of Kocho Shinobu's face was smiling, She humanely wiped the non-existent sweat on her forehead with her wings.
"I'm very sorry, Shinobu-sama."
Because she was facing Hashira, Ginko changed her usual domineering attitude when faced with crows and ordinary team members, and greeted Kocho Shinobu very cautiously before continuing to report.
"Muichiro practiced flying last night and almost ran out of chakra on the way back. He simply disguised himself and fell asleep under a tree on the shore of the lake. He hasn't woken up yet. I found out at the agreed time that's why I came here to inform you."
"How could he sleep outside?"
Konan's tone sounded reproachful at first, but then she regained her composure, "This is less than just a kilometer away from where he lives. We can go back in another ten minutes or so."
"Forget it, that's what Muichiro is like."
Kocho Shinobu held her forehead and sighed softly, "Sometimes I feel that he is like a part of nature. There is no place in the world that he cannot adapt to. If he is really too sleepy, he will lie down on the spot without hesitation even if he is walking on the street.”
"Once Muichiro falls asleep, even if you hold a loudspeaker near his ear and shout, it won't wake him up, unless he is attacked. Well, I originally thought that this child..."
[...After the resurrection, this aspect can be changed. Now it seems that this habit is not caused by the loss of memory, but by the personality.]
Konan heard that everyone was numb .
How come this child's behavior sounds like the legendary Sage of Six Paths who eats the wind, drinks the dew, and sleeps in the sky and the earth.
Watching him talk and do things, he does feel this way occasionally - to some extent, he is better than Uchiha Giyu. He is more like a fantasy character.
"Thank you for your understanding. "
Seeing that Kocho Shinobu was not blaming her, Ginko suddenly felt a lot more relaxed.
Although she didn't care about her reputation among the crows, she unexpectedly cared about what other hashira thought of Muichiro.
However, Kocho Shinobu discovered a blind spot again and stared at her with raised eyebrows and asked her: "But it doesn't matter if Muichiro fell asleep. What happened to you? Couldn't you have informed me in advance last night? "
”Well," Ginko said suddenly, "because Muichiro was flying so fast, I had a hard time catching up with him. When I got here, I was so tired that I couldn't even flap my wings. When I opened my eyes again, It was just now..."
"Flying too fast? "
Kocho Shinobu glanced at Konan, and found the same doubt in the other person's eyes.
Compared with ordinary ninjas, the only advantage of Konan's God Paper Technique is that it can fly. How can it be compared to the speed of the Ginko, Who can fly at a top speed of more than 240 kilometers per hour?
"Yesterday afternoon, Muichiro had been observing the peregrine falcon in the air during the flight. He used the deformation of paper to create a shell and wings similar to the peregrine falcon on the body surface, so..."
"I see, I wrongly blamed you. It will not be easy for you to work with such a master."
Kocho Shinobu understood after listening to half of it.
Muichiro originally learned the Mist Breathing, and on the day he reached the level of normalcy, he derived a new sword form that was unique to him.
With his imagination, his creativity in such things as ninjutsu there are almost infinite possibilities, and the only thing that can limit him is probably the amount of chakra.
"Where is he now?” Ginko raised her wings and pointed to the other side of the lake, "It's not far. It only takes two or three minutes to fly there."
Kocho Shinobu raised her head and glanced at the height of the sun, calculated it in her mind, then took out a snack from the card and placed it next to her: "You eat first to fill your stomach, and you will take us there along the land route later. "
"yes! "
There's no need to fly over in a hurry. Anyway, it's too early to wake up the child, and you can't hit him directly. At least not in front of Konan.
After a while, the sun will rise and the light will shine directly on his face. When the time comes, the adjusted biological clock will wake him up.
"You guys..."
Kocho Shinobu looked at the trio of Hozuki Suigetsu who had spread the gifts on a few square meters of the bridge. She originally wanted to urge them to clean up quickly, but those weird things( gifts ) still aroused her curiosity.
In addition to special snacks and drinks from various places, Kocho Shinobu also saw a lot of strange costumes and weird decorations. Everyone even had a fox mask with a special pattern to eliminate disasters. In addition, Kocho Shinobu also discovered people wearing electronic high-tech products with screens.
That thing is only a little longer than the palm of your hand, and there are buttons distributed in a cross shape on both sides.
Kocho Shinobu picked up Hozuki Suigetsu's station and pressed it a few times. The beeping, beeping, bleak music immediately started playing, and a pixel-style ninja masked puppy appeared in the center of the screen together with the title: "A Dog: Only Die twice".
"...Game console?"
She put the thing down without interest. The clarity was far inferior to the images on the computer.
"What other goodies did you receive?"
She was more interested in the unique gifts each person received than in what everyone had.
"Haha, although I don't need these foods and drinks, I still have to say that the teacher's standard of giving gifts is really getting higher year by year."
Hozuki Suigetsu happily raised a glass box, which contained a three-pronged kunai on display.
The kunai handle was wrapped in gauze and stained with blood. Kocho Shinobu could vaguely see four big characters through the red spots.
"Sword of Shinobi's Love?" Konan read out in confusion.
It's easy to say that a kunai has the word "sword", it can be explained by Chuunibyou, and the children in the Rain Ninja Village dare to claim to own the Kusanagi Sword with a wooden stick.
But the bloody weapon also has the word "love" on it, which is really a bit confusing.
"Don't underestimate it!"
Hozuki Suigetsu looked at Kocho Shinobu with the expression of ‘You didn't know anything: "This is the Flying Thunder God Kunai left by the Fourth Hokage on the battlefield!"
"Although there is one in the archives of Kirigakure Village, there is no blood in that kunai. I don't know if it is the Fourth Hokage's own blood or the blood of an enemy. If it is the Fourth Hokage's own blood, Blood, then this thing is valuable, and I don’t know where the teacher got it from. However, you have to keep it a secret that I have this thing. If Orochimaru knows, I will be in trouble..."
“What does it have to do with Orochimaru?" Kocho Shinobu slightly frowned and asked When she heard the name..
"Didn't the teacher say that Orochimaru once resurrected the Second Hokage? It is said that the Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God Technique is not mature yet. If someone runs from here to the border of the Kingdom of Rain, the Fourth Hokage, with this kind of kunai, Can bring him here back within ten minutes.”
"Such a fast speed..."
Kocho Shinobu was impressed by the so-called Flying Thunder God Technique, "But how do you know that Giyu didn't get it from Orochimaru?"
"Hey, that's true. But if the teacher can even deal with Orochimaru, who has the Fourth Hokage as his subordinate, then he will be truly invincible."
Hozuki Suigetsu fantasized excitedly for a while, then went to look at the legendary kunai again.
[ I don’t know how Giyu dealt with the reincarnations of those strong men when he fought Orochimaru later. ]
Kocho Shinobu thought curiously while looking at the other two people.
Haku's hand is currently holding a stack of unknown rectangular shapes that are vaguely visible.
At first glance, Kocho Shinobu found that she couldn't tell whether it was a translucent sponge or a frosted jelly. It was like a piece of solidified mist.
She could even see Haku's fingers directly through the thing.
"Miss Shinobu, please help me thank Mr. Giyu."
He gently rubbed the corners of the thing with his fingers, with a flush of excitement on his face: "I have never seen such a soft material, such a large piece, I can't feel any weight at all from it. Just touching it gives me the feeling of being in the clouds. If Clothes were made from it and worn on the body, I can't imagine what it would feel like to wear them."
Kocho Shinobu touched it and felt what haku said was true.
But even though she was well-informed, she still couldn't tell what it was, so she became more and more curious about Giyu's experience during this period.
Haku's hobby is tailoring and making clothes, so it was no surprise to Kocho Shinobu that Giyu would give him the materials for making clothes. This is what they mean by giving in to others.
Just as Hozuki Suigetsu said, Giyu is really getting better and better at giving gifts.
[However, Genya, this kid, doesn’t seem to have any obvious hobbies? ]
Kocho Shinobu turned his head and took a look, and immediately decided to retract her previous comments.
Shinazugawa Genya was about to speak but froze in place, holding a string of gray Buddhist beads with a tangled expression.
It was obvious that he didn't like this gift, but he was embarrassed to say it, and even felt a little aggrieved.
The beads are plain and simple. Except for the word "wind" engraved on the largest one, there is no decoration at all.
In addition, Kocho Shinobu also saw a wooden fish with the same characteristics at Genya's feet. Judging from the degree of deformation, its original owner had been knocking it for at least thirty or forty years.
[Even if you want to send content related to monks, why do this have to be sent?]
To put it bluntly, if Kocho Shinobu were to use Wooden Release, it would probably look much better than these two.
She originally wanted Shinazugawa Genya to knock the wooden fish to hear the sound, but looking at the other party's expression, she really couldn't bear it.
"It seems that you always rely on chanting sutras to concentrate, and you were misunderstood by Giyu as having the ambition to become a monk."
Kocho Shinobu suppressed her smile and asked narrowly: "Or do you really have this intention?"
Genya Shinazugawa, who had always been carefree, didn't know what he thought of. His face instantly turned red from his neck to the top of his head. After a while, he hesitated and said: "I am the only one left in our family, so I..."
“Ouch—" Kocho Shinobu blinked her eyes, and her long voice was full of ridicule.
"But, if you want to achieve this goal, you have to work hard.”
"You understand. When we used to treat adults with phobias in the hospital, we found that exposure therapy always worked best. This time when you go out, don't run away from girls, you have to start exercising from now on. "
(Note: Exposure therapy refers to facing the things you fear, not wearing clothes.)
This sentence is not completely ridiculous.
In my previous life, I heard Aoi say that once Tanjiro is not in the ward, if Shinazugawa Genya is left alone with the nurses, he would rather drag his injured body out of the butterfly Mansion. If she wanted to give him an injection, she would have to add some sedatives to the water he drank in advance to make him fall asleep. Shinazugawa Genya was very scared Intimate contact with the opposite sex of the same age.
"Otherwise, you will have to wait until the science and technology in the ninja world reaches a level that allows a person to divide and reproduce himself..."
Genya lowered his head and was about to become shorter than Kocho Shinobu: "Please... please stop talking!"
"I am jus kidding..."
Kocho Shinobu reached out and brushed Shinazugawa Genya's shoulder, "But since Giyu can make friends all over the world, then you can also overcome your own weakness. Come on, I have always believed in your potential and also in Mr. Himejima’s judgment. Whether it's temper or personality, those will all change as we grow, so don't be too anxious, got it? "
The blush on Shinazugawa Genya's face gradually subsided, and then he nodded heavily.
At this time, the sound of flapping wings sounded again, and it was En who came back with Muichiro's notes.
Kocho Shinobu stuffed the notes back into Muichiro's card, and Hozuki Suigetsu's eyes turned around like searchlights.
"you have seen the gifts of the four of us, what about yours? "
“...Don't worry about it. " Kocho Shinobu narrowed his eyes, "I plan to go back and appreciate it by myself."
"I see! "Hozuki Suigetsu put on a gloating smile, "You had a fight with the teacher and never saw each other again, and there's still no reconciliation until now, right? You must be worried that the teacher has not prepared anything special for you except the souvenirs that each of us has, right? If that's the case, you won't be able to save face, so you don't want to show it to us.”
Kocho Shinobu couldn't help but put a smile on her face.
Sometimes she really wanted to punch the Hozuki Suigetsu into the heart of the earth.
Of course she wanted to see the gift that Giyu gave her.
But the reason why she delayed it was because It is true that I have the worries that Hozuki Suigetsu mentioned, but that only accounts for 10%. After all, Giyu never gives gifts out of "custom" or "routine". If he doesn't want to give them, he won't prepare the ones that everyone has.
What she is most worried about is receiving a gift that is completely unsuitable for her like Shinazugawa Genya.
Because a gift that is not suitable for her means that Giyu's understanding of her may be completely based on a misunderstanding.
Only this thing itself is something she really finds unacceptable.
Just imagine, a person who you have to put a lot of effort into understanding what he is thinking, but instead that person doesn't understand you at all...
She doesn't want to experience this feeling.
"Okay, now that En has arrived, let's set out to find Muichiro. "
Kocho Shinobu gave a threatening look to Hozuki Suigetsu, who still wanted to say something. The latter immediately stopped and muttered nonsense and packed up his things.
Kocho Shinobu took a look at the rare clear sky.
The sun had already passed over Amegakure Village and should be able to illuminate the area on the other side of the lake. It would be much easier to wake up Muichiro at this time.
But for some reason, she still felt something in her heart. There was an inexplicable feeling of hesitation.
Just when everyone was packing up and preparing to set off, Haku suddenly turned around and said: "Miss Shinobu, before I leave, I have something else I want to talk to you about in private, is that okay? "
"No problem. "
Kocho Shinobu just thought it was something related to the Kingdom of Water or Zabuza, and nodded matter-of-factly, then waved to Ginko, "You take them away first, Haku and I will follow. "
"yes! "
When everyone else was gone, Haku hesitated for a while, looked into Kocho Shinobu's eyes and said, "Miss Shinobu, you know, every time I receive a letter from Zabuza-sama, I am very scared..."
"What are you afraid of?” Kocho Shinobu was not surprised. It was indeed related to Zabuza.
"I am afraid that he would suddenly change his mind and decide to make a clear break with me in the letter, such as 'You are no longer from the Kingdom of Water', 'I have found a more convenient tool', 'You are already a traitor' like that. "
”Haku..." Kocho Shinobu frowned.
"Don't worry, I already know now. The description of tools and the like is just a wording method used by Zabuza-sama who doesn't want to face his vulnerability. I haven't cared about it for a long time." Haku shook his head gently, "What I want to say is that even though I have 100% trust in Zabuza-sama, I always hesitate before opening the letter he writes to me, for fear that after reading this letter, I will be sad and disappointed, and our previous relationship will never be the same again. Sometimes, I will see my own expression in front of the mirror, which is the kind of expression that worries me about losing someone important..."
Kocho Shinobu became silent, she was a little confused. She doesn't know where the conversation between Haku and her will lead.
"So, when I saw the same expression on your face, Miss Shinobu, not long ago, I felt a little incredible."
Haku's gentle words were like lightning passing through the lobe of the brain, causing the blood vessels in Kocho Shinobu's neck to couldn't help but jump a little.
"I know that the relationship between Zabuza-sama and I and the relationship between Miss Shinobu and Mr. Giyu are completely different things.”
"But I also know that although Mr. Giyu has a happy family, he is an extremely helpless person. A person with a sense of security always prepares for the worst. He was worried that his power would overflow in the hands of others, and he was also worried that he would lose control due to the changes in his Sharingan. But even so, he only has unconditional trust in you, Miss Shinobu, at all times, just like Zabuza-sama always trusts me unconditionally.”
Haku folded his hands on his chest and said seriously: "So no matter what, please try to give the same trust to the other party.”
“Although Zabuza-sama is always slow and rough in interpersonal relationships, he is always able to cleverly avoid words that can really hurt me when writing letters. Therefore, I believe that Mr. Giyu will never let you down with the heart-touching delicacy he occasionally displays.”
"Of course, if you're not worried about this, Miss Shinobu, then I'm meddling."
After saying this, Haku bowed slightly, turned around and left, leaving Kocho Shinobu, who was in a daze, where she was.
After a long time, Kocho Shinobu sighed: "To be educated by such a young child, Haku's changes in the past two years are really unexpected. But, in that case..."
Kocho Shinobu took a deep breath, took the card and inputted chakra, she bypassed the things that everyone had and took out a unique gift that belonged to her.
A rectangular object not longer than an arm's length, wrapped in brown paper.
It should be a book.
Staring at the sharply folded kraft paper, Kocho Shinobu clenched her fist in a threatening manner.
"It's better not be some "Little Guide to Interpersonal Communication"..."
Kocho Shinobu quickly removed the packaging, revealing the true face of this gift - "Taking Off the Mask: Why Do We Identify with the Lost?"
(Note: "Identification with the person who lost" is a common psychological defense mechanism. After the death of a family member or friend, one's own personality and behavior gradually become closer to the deceased, which is the so-called "living like the deceased".)
Suddenly, Giyu's former voice rang in Kocho Shinobu's ears: "You are obviously angry, why are you laughing?"
Seeing the name of this book, Kocho Shinobu was satisfied but at the same time angry, an extremely contradictory emotion coursing through her veins.
But after opening the title page, this feeling immediately melted like ice and snow, turning into another complex emotion that is difficult to distinguish.
Giyu's message for donating the book was not written on the title page, but was attached on a separate piece of paper.
[Shinobu,]
[You said you like to guess what I am thinking, but I am just the opposite. ]
[Most of the time, I can only see your true expression through the transparent world. But you also said that you would feel very unhappy if you were looked at like this. ]
[In order not to put me in a dilemma, I purchased this book for you. ]
[I hope that one day, I can directly read your real thoughts. ]
[Above,]
[Uchiha Giyu. 】
Kocho Shinobu quickly closed the cover, her face seemed to be stained with a hint of crimson due to the morning sun.
"You..."
"Why don't you give me a copy of "The Little Guide to Interpersonal Communication"."
