Uchiha Giyu chapter 161
🕑 Added 2024-03-26 09:06:14 +0000 UTCChapter 161 An encounter worth looking forward to.
About two years ago, when designing the hospital in the Land of Rain, Kocho Shinobu told Giyu: "The shape of the most important building in a country can to some extent reflect the occupants, especially the psychological state of the person in power."
"Why not a designer?"
"Because no matter what the design is, it has to be decided by the person who paid for it. The things on the drawing must be able to meet certain psychological expectations of the person in power, only then it can be put into construction and finally complete the real building."
Kocho Shinobu explained while picking up a postcard on the table that Naruto asked Kyojuro to bring it to Giyu.
The front of the postcard describes the current situation of Naruto and Sasuke, and the back is a panoramic view of Konoha from a side perspective:"For example, the Hokage Building in this picture is a cylindrical building built under the Hokage Rock.”
"It is about the same distance from any corner on the edge of the village. It is like a tree trunk with spreading branches and leaves, growing under the gaze of successive Hokages.”
"Like this, it expresses the core values promoted by the village.”
" Regardless of whether the ruler really thinks so, it is necessary to mention a few words on important occasions. "
After putting down the postcard, she opened the window and pointed at the dim sky.
"The other type, such as the steel tower that belongs to Hanzo and Pain, directly reflects the self-perception of being superior to others. One of them is called the demigod of the ninja world, and the other simply declares himself a god. Of course, they will choose to live in the place furthest away from the ground.”
"But being far away from the ground means being far away from the people of this country. You may be able to see far if you stand high, but you will definitely not be able to see clearly."
”However, considering that Amegakure Village is a real jungle society with extreme worship of power, the style is strict and cold-blooded, and likes to deify the strong. It is not unusual to have such a tower. But if it is a country that has peace all year round, their important buildings will never be so angular."
”I don't think so."
Giyu frowned. He always felt that Kocho Shinobu's theory was just like her understanding of dreams. It was a bit far-fetched: "Besides, your idea cannot be verified at all. In this world, is there really such a country that is at peace all year round?"
Where there are people, there is no peace.
Where there are ninjas, there is almost no peace.
"What surprises me is that there is indeed a place."
Kocho Shinobu smiled mysteriously, walked quickly to the other end of the room, came under the huge map hanging on the wall, and pointed at the upper left corner of the ninja world map.
"Snow Country?"
Giyu observed carefully for a while. He didn't even see the western boundary of the country. Obviously, even the person who drew the map didn't know much about this country.
"Yes, the country of Snow is blocked from the east, west, and south by snowy mountains, volcanic belts, and plateau terrain. The only channel for communication with the outside world is a port in the north. With such a unique terrain advantage, even if the five major countries conquer half of the continent, it can't affect them. It's not an exaggeration to say that this place is a paradise."
Kocho Shinobu's smile was sincere. It was as if she couldn't help but feel happy at the thought that there was such a place in the world.
"It is precisely because of this that the three consecutive ninja wars had no impact on them, so the people of Snow Country can always focus on themselves and study the technologies that can be used to improve their lives. The world's first train, the first internal combustion engine, the first camera, and the first ship were all born in this remote and small country.”
"I have seen from Orochimaru's travel notes before that the Daimyo of Snow Country also has an airplane-like palace in the sky. How about it? Amazing, right?”
"You seem to be very interested in these. "
Kocho Shinobu nodded: "Of course. At that time (referring to the previous life), I had obviously experienced so many things that ordinary people would never dare to think about, but I had never even been on a plane or a ship, which is a pity when I think about it.”
"In the first year of Taisho (1912), I took the newspaper and told my sister that after we killed the Kibutsuji Muzan, we would go to Europe and cross the Atlantic Ocean on the Titanic, which was known as the 'first in the world'. Take a good look at other parts of the world."
At this point, Kocho Shinobu seemed to be lost in memories, and her speech gradually slowed down.
"Although the giant ship that the Westerners blew into the sky sank on its first voyage, my sister did not even survive until it set sail. After that, I was left alone, and I was no longer interested in making similar jokes. This plan will come to nothing."
Giyu stared at her carefully and found that Kocho Shinobu did not fall into sadness, but her heartbeat was slow and the corners of her mouth were raised, so he did not disturb her.
Kocho Shinobu stared at the map and was silent for a while before suddenly saying: "I have an idea."
She turned her head, her eyes sparkling:"When we solve the matters at hand, we will take a boat to the country of snow together, how about asking their daimyo to borrow the flying palace and go up to the sky to see it?"
“Not interested."
Giyu shook his head indifferently, "You can fly up to the sky with the help of those insects, and you have mastered the power of the wind. After breathing, you should also develop the technique of controlling airflow to fly. There is no need to sit on such a thing."
"Can it be the same? Aren't you curious about the principle of that thing?"
"Why can birds fly? If you study this, you will know the principle."
"Then let's make a bet."
Kocho Shinobu put her hands behind her back and said: "It's not that you don't believe me about buildings theory? If one day we go to the Land of Snow and find that the most important buildings in that country are completely different from the core buildings of those power-seeking ninja villages, then you just have to sit in that sky palace with me honestly, How about it?"
"You talk as if the palace is yours."
"I will definitely find a way to borrow it. How about it, are you willing to agree to this bet?"
"You only said what happens if you win. but what if..."
"Just tell me whether you agree or not."
"Okay."
Now two years later, Giyu finally came to the country of snow.
He stood on the rooftop of the palace, and the answer lay at his feet.
Kocho Shinobu lost, and he didn't feel happy at all.
This country is isolated from the world and has a long life expectancy that is envied by 90% of the people in the ninja world. The residence of its daimyo and the leader of the ninja village is actually a steel fortress made of cement mixed with metal powder.
This fortress is far away from cities and settlements. It is protected among three smooth and towering icebergs. It is completely dark and full of angular and even redundant bunker towers, like a dormant steel behemoth.
The first second Giyu saw this building, he had a vague idea of the country's monarch - Ambitious, far away from the people, tough but insecure, with a romanticized desire for war.
Combined with the recent disappearance of a large number of young people in this country, Giyu did not have any joy and pleasure at all in winning the bet.
The only thing to be thankful for is that their disappearance seems to have nothing to do with Orochimaru, and no one has become a guinea pig - it's just that the daimyo Kazahana Dotō wanted to buy labor for free because he was short of money, so he arrested a group of young laborers to Mine, build railroads, and make chakra armor, that's all.
Most of them will eventually be able to go home alive.
It was just early in the morning.
Giyu stood on the edge of the rooftop at the top of the palace, fiddling with Kazahana Dotō's chakra armor in his hand, as if waiting for something, until a painful intake of breath caught his attention.
Kazahana Dotō woke up from his coma. Without his chakra armor, the biting cold wind that had never bothered him in the past had become something that caused him more pain than his broken arms.
He noticed that Giyu turned to look at him, breathing heavily and shrinking back, only to hit something hard.
Kazahana Dotō turned his head and was suddenly covered in ice - there were at least sixty or seventy snow ninjas lying on the platform, probably all of his subordinates in this building.
But immediately, he regained his composure and scanned all the snow ninjas who had fallen to the ground. When he found that there was no one he was looking for, he breathed a sigh of relief. When he turned back to face Giyu, he found some of the daimyo's momentum.
"Who are you?"
Kazahana Dotō glanced at the chakra armor in Giyu's hand, thoughtfully, and then shifted his gaze to the latter's face.
It’s frustrating to say.
I was just waiting for a few guests in the palace, when suddenly someone fell from the roof. Before he could punch out, or even see the opponent's face or sword clearly, his hands were cut off and he was knocked unconscious.
Now I finally see the "assassin's" face, but I find that he is shockingly young. This reminds Kazahana Dotō of a not so comfortable past.
"You don't know me?"
Giyu was a little surprised.
It's not because of his Uchiha pride, but because there are very few people in this world - especially the king of a country - who haven't seen his wanted notice.
It seems that the occlusion of the environment goes both ways - outsiders don't know what is happening in the Snow Country, and the Snow Country also knows very little about the outside world.
"I know you are a ninja of Konoha."
Kazahana Dotō deflated his cold mouth, "You have the same eyes as Hatake Kakashi."
"I am not a ninja. He only has one such eye. The color is also different." Giyu corrected him seriously, "Have you seen Kakashi Hatake?"
“Huh, if it weren't for that nosy bastard..." Kazahana Dotō gritted his teeth angrily, "Did that woman hire you to deal with me? She's so confident, and she only sent one kid..."
“Woman?" Giyu looked confused, not knowing what he was talking about. It seems that this poor daimyo still has some conflicts with Konoha.
However, seeing Giyu's clueless reaction, Kazahana Dotō's mood became calmer.
Although he didn't show it on his face, Giyu could clearly see his heart rate changes and neurotransmitter secretion.
Giyu leaned over and said, "Ever since you woke up, you seem to be more relaxed every time you say a word. You don't look like a person who is about to lose everything at all."
The exaggerated expression of wind and anger froze on his face, and his heart beat like a drum.
[What’s going on with this guy? Is it the problem with these eyes? Can he read my mind? ]
Although he was panicking, Kazahana Dotō still said hard: "I don't know what you are talking about. I only know that since you didn't kill me, I must be useful to you, that's all."
As for the severed hand, it is nothing to the technologically advanced Snow Country, and there are many ninjas under him who have steel prosthetics.
Giyu shook his head: "I don't need you. Your men have already told me the specific location where those workers were imprisoned. I have sent shadow clones to deal with your minions left in those places. I have also notified the militiamen formed voluntarily by the parents of the missing persons. I think it will not take long for someone to arrive here."
Without waiting for Kazahana Dotō to speak, Giyu suddenly spoke again: "When you heard that I sent a shadow clone out, your heart beat faster again. This shows that the weaker I am, the more I meet your expectations."
"...What exactly is..."
Kazahana Dotō swallowed, the feeling of being completely seen through was really hard to describe, it was like having a layer of skin peeled off in public.
"You expected that someone else would come to deal with me." Giyu judged: "And you think he will be able to defeat me, right?"
“Humph, he is indeed a genius cultivated by the Great Ninja Village. Now that you have figured it out, I'll tell you."
Kazahana Dotō gritted his teeth, "Although I am the leader of the snow ninja, I am not the strongest ninja in this country..."
Giyu nodded with deep understanding: "I can see it."
"...When that Hatake Kakashi came here, he was a little older than you, and he could easily subdue a half-hearted ninja like me, as well as the losers behind me."
Kazahana Dotō said, Looking over Giyu's shoulder, he said, "But when he faced Rōga Nadare, he could only run away with his head in his arms!"
Giyu could see that Kazahana Dotō didn't seem to be bragging, it seems to be true. I think that "Rōga Nadare" can easily deal with Kakashi Hatake from ten years ago.
[Is this an enemy that needs to be treated with more than half the strength? ]
Giyu has secretly adjusted the opponent to be on the same level as Hatake Kakashi.
"Then where is he now?" Giyu asked.
"He has arrived."
Giyu followed his line of sight and found a huge airship flying slowly from above the ice wall to the east of the palace.
[Is this the so-called palace in the sky? ]
He turned his Sharingan, and sure enough he saw a long-faced snow ninja in white sticking his head out and looking here, with a calm expression on his face. Behind him, there seemed to be several figures standing in slightly bloated clothes.
Giyu zoomed in, and then he discovered that behind Rōga Nadare, there were three Iwagakure ninjas standing, whispering something to each other.
"Iwagakure Ninja?" Giyu frowned.
"It's too late to see now."
The closer the airship got, the more confident Kazahana Dotō became. "He was not with me before because he had three Jonin from the Earth Kingdom to entertain. You took advantage of me fainting and removed my armor, But you took off my armor in the wrong way, which set off the alarm signal connected to that airship! As long as the signal is received, of course he will rush back regardless of the cost!" "
“I heard that Iwagakure and Konoha have been at odds for many years, and now they have seen with their own eyes a Konoha ninja who took action against a great name of a country... Guess, will they easily let go of a target like you?”
The courage in his body finally swelled enough to support him to stand up.
"Escape now, you may still have a chance of survival."
He said with a victorious smile: "Don't make any mistakes, such as taking me as a hostage, or something like that, it will only slow down your escape!"
However, Giyu wasn't listening to him at all.
[Is this incident still related to Iwagakure Ninja?]
Although Iwagakure signed a non-aggression agreement with Konoha, it has nothing to do with him, Uchiha Giyu, a wanted criminal.
On the contrary, there is a serious blood feud between Iwagakure and Uchiha!
Giyu had no doubt that the three Iwagakure jonin would definitely want to kill him.
[A character who can defeat Kakashi, and three powerful jonins. Such opponents cannot be spared.]
The moment he made this decision, all the snowflakes within a 100-meter radius centered on Giyu froze in the air.
He leaned forward slightly, his eyes locked on the airship diagonally above him, calculating the approximate distance, intending to destroy the "palace in the air" with one blow.
"Wind Breathing: First Form..."
Giyu stepped back with his left leg and held the handle of the Sword with his right hand. The rich blue air ball continued to roll from under his body in all directions. As soon as he launched an attack, the accumulated energy would be sent to the sky!
"Dust--"
"Wait a minute! Don't do it yet!"
An unexpected shout came from the airship, and then he saw a long package being thrown from the airship.
Giyu turned his Sharingan and saw clearly that the person wrapped in a ball of yellow mud was Rōga Nadare just now.
In order to prevent the opponent from being thrown to death, Giyu raised his hand, and the green air mass gathered around his body immediately rose into the air, giving him a buffer before falling to the ground.
Of course, Giyu did not forget the broken hand package.
"Nadare?!"
Kazahana Dotō looked at his men on the ground, then at the airship and Giyu in the sky, and was suddenly shocked, "Are you in the same group?"
However, the three Iwagakure Ninjas who were still flying in the sky were explaining loudly to another person: "Uchiha Giyu! No matter what you find in the Land of Snow, it has nothing to do with us! We are here this time to honor the great name. We have received orders to discuss the construction of railways between the two countries and the purchase of mining machinery. All other matters have nothing to do with us!"
The airship suspended in mid-air and no longer continued to descend, but the nervousness and panic of the speaker could be heard by the people below.
"We have no hostility towards you, and please don't attack us!"
"..." Glancing at the astonished Kazahana Dotō, Giyu frowned: "Come down."
The three people on the airship looked at each other, as if they were discussing. He was thinking about something, but he quickly came to a conclusion.
"Land! Land!"
One of the Iwagakure Ninja shouted in the direction of the cockpit: "Be gentle, don't act like we are going to launch an attack on him!"
In this way, five minutes later, the airship finally landed at the rooftop of the palace..
The three Iwagakure Ninjas jumped out of the cabin with their hands raised, showing that they had no weapons and no dangerous ninjutsu prepared.
Although the posture is a bit humiliating, the policy of Iwagakure Village this year has been made very clear - no conflict of any kind is allowed with Uchiha Giyu.
If you encounter the opponent during the mission, you can give up the mission directly.
The person who received this kind of treatment last time was called Namikaze Minato.
"We have no hostility towards you."
The eldest ninja among the three emphasized again, "No matter what this group of snow ninjas are studying, it has nothing to do with us."
"The lack of hostility is false." Giyu almost let him down with one sentence. The hearts of the three people stopped. "The following words are true."
The three people exchanged glances with each other and breathed a sigh of relief as if they had escaped.
Iwagakure Ninja's resentment towards Uchiha, especially Uchiha Shisui, has not weakened for a day. Even if it was later confirmed that the matter was a trap set by Danzo, people died by the hands of Uchiha Shisui after all.
But it was difficult for the people in the village to unify their attitude towards Uchiha Giyu.
Especially that year, thirty Iwagakure ninjas and thirty Kumogakure ninjas went to destroy other Uchiha Clan. As a result, all the Kumogakure ninjas died and the Iwagakure ninjas were only injured. This made many people - especially the families and friends of the injured, feel a little grateful to Uchiha Giyu.
"Since it has nothing to do with you, you can leave." After Giyu confirmed that the three of them were not lying, he stopped paying attention to them.
"Okay." The three Iwagakure Ninja Jonin were overjoyed, and after saying that, they were about to leave this place of right and wrong.
"Wait a minute!" Kazahana Dotō couldn't believe it. "According to the convention of the ninja world, if the safety of a daimyo's life is threatened, you ninjas from a great country are obliged to protect me!"
This is true.
Daimyos are absolutely special existences in the ninja world, especially those from the five major countries.
For example, even if the Iwagakure Village beat the Kumogakure Village to near extinction, once the lives of the daimyo of the Iwagakure Village is in danger, if the ninjas of the Kumogakure Village are around, they must step forward to provide necessary assistance.
"Don't talk nonsense!"
Seeing Giyu's eyes suddenly glancing over, the ninja headed by Iwagakure Village quickly emphasized: "Except for the daimyo of the five major countries, the other daimyo who want to be protected by this convention must pay a fee! Your brother, Kazahana Sōsetsu, paid the fee when he became a daimyo, but what does that have to do with you?"
“..." Kazahana Dotō opened his mouth. If he could afford the money, would he still need to kidnap workers to work for him? ?
Seeing that the three people were about to leave again, he was completely desperate and roared loudly: "If you help me kill him, I am willing to hand over the secret weapon designed by the previous daimyo to the Kingdom of Earth! As long as I have that thing, I can immediately gain combat power superior to the five major countries (original words from the theatrical version of the movie)!"
"It's a joke, really. Will you still be like this?"
"That's just because I haven't got the key yet!" He quickly explained: "You have heard, right? Before my brother died, he left a treasure that could change the world. It was for that thing that he spent all the country's assets and left me nothing...."
Giyu could see that Kazahana Dotō seemed to believe in this, just like he believed that Rōga Nadare could defeat Kakashi.
But considering the lack of information about the Snow Country, and considering the Rain Country, which had no information but accepted the title of Hanzo Demigod, Giyu still asked specifically: "What is the combat power that can surpass the five major countries... What level of power is it?"
The three Iwagakure ninjas who had walked out several meters stopped, obviously a little bit interested.
"Of course..."
Kazahana Dotō first glanced at the airship, then looked down at his palace, and finally gritted his teeth and pointed at the glacier surrounding the palace, "It can at least destroy that iceberg with one blow.!"
"If it's at this level..."
The youngest of the Iwagakure Ninja scratched his head, "The three of us can do it together. Don't you have a correct concept of the fighting power of ninjas? Huh?"
"No... concept?"
Seeing the sarcasm on the faces of the three Iwagakure ninjas getting thicker and thicker, Kazahana Dotō felt that his heart had been hollowed out. He seemed like a criminal exposed by Conan, He knelt down with a plop.
"I have no idea..."
Just when Kazahana Dotō was doubting life, the elderly ninja who had reached the edge of the rooftop suddenly stopped and came back as if he had remembered something.
"Uchiha Giyu."
"Is there anything else?"
Giyu asked in confusion.
"It's like this. Lord Onoki wants to invite you to Iwagakure Village to participate in this year's Chunin Exam."
The older ninja said: "He sent someone to Konoha to deliver a letter before, but your father said that you have not been here for at least two years. I went home and didn't know where you were, so the matter was left alone. Since I happened to meet you today, I just want to convey it to you."
"Chunin exam?" Giyu didn't understand, "But I'm not a ninja."
The three Iwagakure ninja fell silent at the same time.
After a long time, the older ninja explained: "Third Tsuchikage-sama means that you are not asked to participate in this Chunin exam as a candidate, but as an examiner."
"Why is this?" Giyu knows nothing about politics. As far as I know, Ohnoki's motive is clear, "You want to trick me in, surround me and kill me?"
"That's not the idea at all."
The consequences of surrounding Uchiha Shisui last time and killing him are still vivid in his mind. The Jonin quickly explained, "You may not have been home for a long time, so I don't know that your brother is among the candidates for this time..."
"Brother."
[True or False? ]
"...There is your brother Uchiha Sasuke. He is the only Uchiha candidate this time.”
"You should understand the... grievances between Iwagakure and Uchiha. Iwagakure Village has a large population. Even if we strictly restrain our subordinates, There is no way to ensure that everyone behaves according to the rules. "
The jounin said cautiously: "In addition, even if we can restrain all the iwau ninjas from targeting your brother, we cannot guarantee that other countries, such as..."
He pointed to the northeast, meaning the Kumogakure ninja, " Will intentionally hurt Uchiha Sasuke to intensify the conflict between us. Therefore, Tsuchikage-sama's idea is that if someone like you is the examiner, reputation alone may be enough to deter most people from taking any rash action. "
The matter involved Sasuke, and Giyu knew that he might not be able to stay out of it.
Although he knew the answer, Giyu still asked: "Why not just disqualify Sasuke from the exam? Aren't the Chunin Exams held twice a year?
"As the organizer, we are not qualified to do this unless we catch Uchiha Sasuke breaking the rules in our examination room. "
The elder Jonin smiled bitterly, "We also sent people to contact Konoha before, hoping that they would disqualify Uchiha Sasuke from taking the exam to avoid complications, but your father thought it was deliberately targeted, so he refused.”
"He also said that if Sasuke couldn't overcome such a danger, he wouldn't be worthy of being his son. That's why Tsuchikage-sama was prepared to ask you to take the exam."
"I understand." Giyu nodded, "I will consider it."
Apart from Orochimaru, there was one more reason to return to the Land of Fire.
"The words have been delivered, let's take our leave." After saying that, the three of them left as if they were running away.
On the other side, Kazahana Dotō seemed to be disillusioned because of the disillusionment of his dream, and he collapsed on the ground motionless. Giyu, on the other hand, was staring at the corridor connecting the palace under the iceberg opposite, while practicing the last of the five basic breathing techniques - Thunder Breathing.
However, after about half an hour, Giyu's shoulders gradually relaxed and his head lowered -he fell asleep.
Ever since the Three-Tails' chakra returned to its full state, a large amount of chakra would leak out every day. If Giyu couldn't use this leaked part, he would inevitably become a little lethargic.
Although Giyu rarely sleeps for a full night, the amount of time he spends "taking a nap" due to three tails every day adds up to six or seven hours.
Giyu fell into a deep sleep, but Kazahana Dotō suddenly thought about it - he saw Giyu sitting on the edge of the platform and fell into a deep sleep, and moved his body and slowly crawled over.
His eyes were bloodshot and his face was purple. He had never imagined that this brat who fell from the ceiling would destroy all his ten years of hard work and shatter his innocent illusions.
Although the chance of a person who has practiced chakra to fall to death is very slim, since the opponent is sleeping so deeply...
[ Why not give it a try? ]
The wind, flowers, and raging waves were getting closer and closer to Giyu like wriggling maggots, but just as he put his upper body within one meter of Giyu, a dark gray, cactus-like illusory tail grew out from Giyu's back, and then It smashed down like a crooked tower, accurately breaking Kazahana Dotō's two calves!
[Roll!]
Suddenly there was a loud bang in his mind, which scared Kazahana Dotō to the point where he couldn't even make a sound, [Don't disturb his rest!]
Without the protection of chakra armor, the tailed beast's mental impact caused Kazahana Dotō to faint directly, and Giyu also got a peaceful sleep for more than two hours.
Until he was woken up by the Snow Country militiamen who came from the surrounding area.
By then, it was already dawn.
"Has everyone gone home?" In fact, there was no need to ask. Those self-released shadow clones immediately gave Giyu the answer he wanted.
It's just that these clones also want him to have a good sleep, so they don't automatically lift it until he wakes up.
Of the 260 people arrested for hard labor, 248 have returned home, while the remaining 12 died due to factors such as diet, intensity of work, and excessive punishment.
Although there were dead people, for Giyu, the number was right and no one was truly "missing", which meant that this place was not affected by Orochimaru after all.
"The matter has been settled," he stood up and said to the militiamen of the Kingdom of Snow, a group of old people who had lost their sons and daughters.
"It's time for me to leave."
He still spoke harshly and coldly, but this group of the old people who found the childrens didn't care.
"Isn't the enemy you are looking for here?" The leader of the militiamen was an old man wearing glasses and looked gentle.
"Not here." Giyu shook his head, "It is better that he is not here. If it were him, it would be a luxury to find half of the people."
"Has the next stop been determined?"
"Yes." Giyu recalled the marks on the map, and then he will follow the missing event markers and investigate them one by one in the order of the Kingdom of Snow, the Kingdom of Stone, the Kingdom of Birds, and the Kingdom of Grass, and the final destination will be in the Kingdom of Fire.
At that time, he should take advantage of the opportunity to go back home and persuade Sasuke to participate in the Chunin Examination held in Konoha next time. By the way, he would conduct a search in the most dangerous place for Orochimaru - around Konoha.
"No matter where you choose to go, as long as it's in other countries, you will definitely have to climb those towering mountains."
"Yes." Giyu made an estimate, and drove at this speed. With the investigation along the way, he will reach the Kingdom of Fire in about twenty days.
"In that case, please accept this thing as a thank you gift."
The old man pointed out his hand. Giyu looked along the direction of his arm and found that what he was pointing to was the "palace in the sky."
"That thing was designed by the old man and his predecessor, Sōsetsu-sama, the former daimyo. It is powered by special fuel and controlled by the ninja's chakra. As long as it is not those ridiculously high mountains, it should be able to easily cross them. With it, you should be able to avoid a lot of mistakes along the way..."
More than a few.
Giyu understood that with this thing, he could walk in a straight line regardless of the terrain.
"This thing should be very precious to you." Giyu shook his head, "The storm has used up all the savings of this country. If you sell it to the daimyo of other countries..."
“We can still make it again. Besides, if the famous names in other countries knew that this thing was used by people like Kazahana Dotō, how could they be willing to spend a lot of money to buy it. But for you, this thing is equivalent to a trophy, so please don't refuse.” The old man laughed and said,“When you were asleep, I had already sent people to fill the cabin with spare fuel. If the fuel runs out in the future, you can just come back and replenish it. Of course, by then, you have to pay for it."
"Then I'll accept it." Giyu no longer hesitated.
The three countries of Snow, Stone, and Bird are all plateaus and mountainous areas. If he could fly in a straight line, he might be able to save half the time.
"Finally, we have a heartfelt request."
"Please tell me."
"You said before that you are from the Kingdom of Fire, so could you please help us to give a message..."
“What message, and to whom?"
"The producer of the movie "The Adventures of Princess Storm", his name is Makino, he is a bad old man about the same age as me."
The old man sincerely requested: "You just need to tell him what happened here. "
["Princess of the Storm", isn't that Sasuke's favorite series of movies? ]
Giyu is somewhat familiar with this name, not only because of Sasuke, but also because his mother, Uchiha Mikoto, resigned from Konoha and became the special effects artist and action director of that crew…”
[It seems, the Land of Fire...]
"We have to go back no matter what."
At the same time, at the gate of Amegakure Village, Shinazugawa Genya was ready to leave.
"Senior Shinobu, if we leave, then the case of the hunters disappearing from the Land of Fire will...."
"When Kyojuro comes back, I will go there myself."
Kocho Shinobu looked at the increasingly brighter sky in the east, "I happen to have some books to buy, maybe I can refer to them when I compile the textbook."
(End of this chapter)
