"One vote for Namikaze Minato."
"One vote for Orochimaru."
"One vote for Namikaze Minato."
"One vote for Orochimaru."
"One vote for Orochimaru."
In the largest conference room in Konoha space, The Third Hokage, three advisors, department heads, ninja clan leaders, and Jonin representatives all gathered here.
More than eighty faces showed eagerness, and nearly two hundred eyes were fixed on the end of the conference table without blinking, their gazes as intense as entities.
Where everyone's eyes met, the Jonin captain Nara Shikaku was counting the names on the last few ballots.
But judging from his expression, he already knew the answer and was very satisfied with the result.
"Namikaze Minato Jonin received twenty votes; Orochimaru-sama received fifty-six votes; the rest received a total of four votes."
Hearing this, Sarutobi Hiruzen, who was sitting in the first row, turned to look with an encouraging smile. Beside him was a long-haired ninja whose gender and age were difficult to distinguish.
Orochimaru's always sharp gaze was weakened by the blue-purple eye shadow. He nodded slightly and responded with a subtle smile that said "everything is under control". He seemed not surprised by the result.
"According to the voting rules established by the Second Hokage, if in the first round of elections, a candidate gets more than 2/3 of the votes, there is no need to conduct the next round of elections.”
"Therefore, I declare that the fourth generation of Konoha Hidden Village Hokage -
"Lord Orochimaru will take over!"
As soon as this was said, many jounin representatives almost jumped up and applauded in celebration. Everyone's eyes were filled with uncontrollable enthusiasm.
Without exception, this group of people were all ninjas who accepted Orochimaru's direct command during the Third Ninja War.
However, not only his subordinates, but also Orochimaru's competitor, Namikaze Minato, who received the second most votes, also had a convinced smile on his face and was not frustrated by his defeat.
"Be patient. Be patient."
Nara Shikaku raised his hands and pressed down, "There is one last step."
Everyone fell silent, and some even smiled sheepishly.
Nara Shikaku nodded with satisfaction, and then looked at the elderly people at the front of the conference table.
"I would like to ask the Third Hokage-sama and the three advisors, do you object to Orochimaru-sama becoming the Fourth Hokage?"
”No objection."
Sarutobi Hiruzen smiled and shook his head, "We can turn the tide of this Ninja War and even The victory was all due to Orochimaru's calm command. He is my best student, and I believe he will become a better Hokage than me!"
"The three of us have no objections."
Danzo Shimura didn't even look at the other two elders and made the choice for them. Fortunately, judging from their expressions, those two people did not have any objections.
"If Orochimaru hadn't accepted my invitation, personally led the root wood release experiment, and used the finished product to frighten Onoki and the Third Raikage, even if we were the victors, we wouldn't have been able to take advantage of such a huge benefit."
”Don't talk about Hiruzen, even when the Second Hokage was in power, Konoha never became the strongest ninja village worthy of the name! But Orochimaru did it!”
"As an advisory elder, I am willing to assist such a Hokage wholeheartedly."
Danzo's words were eloquent and resonated with many people.
"No one will object at all!"
"Captain Nara Shikaku, there is no need to ask anyone else!"
"That's right!"
"Except Orochimaru-sama, we will not accept anyone else."
Every word you said in the conference room, it didn't take long for the situation to boil over.
"It's hard to disobey all fates."
After complaining, Nara Shikaku made a gesture of invitation: "In that case, please trouble Orochimaru-sama to go up to the rooftop and complete the handover ceremony of Hokage."
Orochimaru tried hard to restrain himself , trying not to let the excitement spread to his face. He nodded calmly as always, gaining more recognition and respect.
Just when the ceremonial staff opened the door and prepared to guide him to change into the Hokage's exclusive god robe, Orochimaru glanced at the faces in the room and suddenly noticed something that made him uncomfortable.
When everything you experience is going as you wish, such "discomfort" is very strange and unexpected.
[Among the representatives of the Ninja clan, why is there no Uchiha Fugaku? ]
[Obviously the election went so smoothly, why do I feel something is wrong? 】
However, he didn't have time to think about it. After all, he didn't know that he was dreaming.
The next second, he had already passed the half-hour preparation time, put on his clothes, put on a red hat with the word "fire" written on it, and arrived at the edge of the rooftop of the Hokage Building.
When the crowd in the square downstairs spotted Orochimaru sticking his head out, they immediately cheered like a roaring tsunami. Even the Hokage's hat was slightly stirred by the crowd's fiery enthusiasm.
This move finally completely dispelled Orochimaru's suspicion that something was wrong, and also released him from the leather holster that he had always been cautious about.
There was no need for Nara Shikaku to remind him. With a wave of his sleeve, the whole square fell silent instantly, as if everyone had their souls taken away at the same time.
Orochimaru has always been proud of his values that are completely different from ordinary people. However, at this moment, he found that he actually enjoyed this moment extremely.
Everyone in this village is eagerly waiting for him, intending to take every word he says as a standard and recite it over and over again until he can repeat it in his dreams.
After all, if you can stand in the light and receive the spotlight, who really wants to stay in a dark place and be cynical?
"Everyone."
After taking a deep breath, Orochimaru spoke: "I have been thinking about one thing since I was very young.”
"Is there anything in this world that is worth pursuing without hesitation? "
He paused and looked around the crowd, "I can guess that the answers in most of your minds are nothing more than strength, power, wealth, health, and feelings. There are very few exceptions.”
" Among them, those who are ninjas, they must be hungry for power. Because strength is the foundation, the guarantee for survival, wealth, power and all other cherished things. "
Hearing this, almost all Konoha ninjas nodded in approval.
"That's what I thought at the beginning, so I learned as much ninjutsu as possible to find the holy land of sage hidden in the mountains and jungles. Almost regarding improving strength as the sole focus of life.” Orochimaru's voice changed: "However, as I grow older, I find that strength will eventually decline as the body ages. "
He glanced at the Third Hokage thoughtfully.
"As the body declines, wealth will be plundered, power will be emptied, accumulated knowledge will become blurred, and even survival itself will become increasingly uncontrollable.”
"In the end, everything a person accumulates in his life will be in vain…”
" Let me ask, if a person works hard and does everything he can, the final reward will be death and smoke, so what is the meaning of such a life?! "
The audience looked a little confused, but there were also people who agreed with Orochimaru's complaints, such as Danzo Shimura.
"So, I overturned the conclusion I made when I was young. No matter how tempting power is, it is only a necessary tool, not the ultimate answer to all problems.”
"The only thing that is worth a person's efforts and to pursue at any cost is one thing, and that is - eternal life.”
"Only by defeating time itself, everything we have paid in the past will be meaningful, and we can accumulate more, move towards endless possibilities! "
Orochimaru spread his arms, and his god's robes rustled in the sunset.
"Whoever has endless life has everything!"
He looked at the crowd whose faces were gradually turning red. He knew that the preparations had been completed and it was time to tell his future plans.
"Today, Konoha has become the strongest among all ninja villages.”
"We defeated all our enemies and left them miserable for several years, unable to think about anything but cutting their losses.”
"This gave us opportunities and gaps to pursue more fun at a higher level besides survival and victory.”
"Therefore, as the fourth generation Hokage, I no longer intend to compete with those ordinary people on a fixed track.”
"I want to use all the manpower and material resources that this village can use to realize a more imaginative plan -- To defeat the erosion of time and obtain an immortal body!"
In the past, only Danzo could help him, but he was still able to achieve such an achievement.
Once the tens of thousands of ninjas in Konoha Village are used by him to find test subjects for him in the entire ninja world, it goes without saying what the result will be!
Wrapped in huge confidence, Orochimaru spoke decisively: "You must understand that I am not the only one who can benefit from this!"
"Power will not decline in such a body, but it will only continue to accumulate. As long as I am the Kage of Konoha, the dominance of this village will last forever!”
"Knowledge cannot be forgotten in such a body, and will only continue to be intertwined and developed. Ultimately, I will share all of this knowledge with you, and everyone will be incredibly rewarded.”
"At that time, you will understand that humans are just bridges to become gods."
When it came to gods, Orochimaru's speech style suddenly began to change in the direction of Pain.
"I will surpass all ninjas, surpass all life, even the legendary Sage of Six Paths cannot compare with me!" "
“Now, I invite you to join me.”
"Those who oppose will become the fuel and turn into the ladder to eternal life.”
"And those who support me will serve as my hunters and search for me, and they will be rewarded!"
Orochimaru pressed his hands on the fence on the rooftop, and his snake eyes filled with infinite ambition looked down coldly: "Will you be on my side?"
Kocho Shinobu once said to Giyu that dreams are the fulfillment of wishes. To put it bluntly, they are "wishful thinking" fantasies.
Therefore, Orochimaru's crazy plan was not questioned by anyone at all. The reason why people remained silent was entirely because they were shocked by such "ambition".
The deathly silence lasted only three seconds, and endless cheers immediately exploded like fireworks!
"Orochimaru!"
"Orochimaru!"
"Orochimaru!"
Everyone stood on Orochimaru's side.
Including those who would never agree to such a thing in reality.
After the speech, the new Hokage will attend the inauguration banquet and wait for the congratulations of other ninjas on the rooftop.
The ninjas came and left one by one. The congratulations from Jiraiya, Tsunade, Nawaki (he was still alive in the dream) and even Mitarashi Anko made Orochimaru, a cold-blooded creature, couldn't help but be touched.
However, after waiting and waiting until the sun went down, Orochimaru still didn't wait for Uchiha Fugaku, whom he cared about most.
"Why didn't Uchiha Fugaku come?"
He asked Nara Shikaku.
"Uchiha Mikoto just gave birth today, so Fugaku may not arrive until later." Nara Shikaku replied: "I heard three months ago that she was pregnant with twins."
Suddenly, he looked towards the stairs: "Look, isn't he coming? The whole family is here."
Orochimaru raised his head and saw the Uchiha couple holding a baby walking towards this side, followed by the Konoha Ninja School famous genius, Uchiha Itachi.
"Hokage-sama."
When Uchiha Fugaku spoke to Orochimaru, he didn't even have the unruly attitude toward the Hokage and his advisors, and looked very respectful.
"I'm really sorry that I missed your inauguration speech, was late for the celebration, and didn't even prepare a gift."
"It's okay." Orochimaru suddenly felt that the uneasiness that had been lingering in his heart seemed to disappear. The whole person felt much more relaxed.
He reached out and touched the face of the child in Mikoto's arms, "Speaking of gifts, what can be more precious than a child born on this special day today?"
"What do you mean?" Uchiha Fugaku was surprised, "Are you planning to accept this child as a student?"
"This child will have many years to grow up," he nodded slightly and shook his head, then naturally glanced at Uchiha Itachi, who had a deep expression on the side.
"However, I heard that the eldest son of the Fugaku clan has not yet met a qualified teacher? I wonder if I have this qualification?" "
”How about it?" Orochimaru leaned down and stared at Uchiha Itachi and asked, "Are you willing?"
"Teacher." Uchiha Itachi bowed to Orochimaru without saying a word, looking unusually obedient.
"Then from today on, you will be my student."
[I didn't expect that it would be so easy to find a useful body! ]
While Orochimaru was chatting with the flattered Uchiha couple, he looked at the sleeping baby, [If this child shows a stronger talent, then he will be the next one.]
Soon, the day ended and night came. The huge full moon came over everyone's heads at a strange speed. The celebration party finally came to an end.
"Since this child was born on the day you took office, Hokage-sama," Uchiha Fugaku took the baby from Mikoto and gently rocked it in front of Orochimaru, "please give him a name."
"How about Uchiha Sasuke?"
For some reason, Orochimaru felt that this child should be called this name, as if this was an established fact.
"Sasuke? Sasuke... Sasuke!"
Fugaku repeated several times, and the more he recited it, the more he felt that the name was very popular, "Then he will be called Uchiha Sasuke.”
After getting the child's name, Uchiha Mikoto bowed slightly, "Lord Hokage, it is already late today, so we will take Sasuke back first. We still have a lot of procedures to go through tomorrow morning. "
”Please." Orochimaru nodded and watched the Uchiha family leave.
But just as the family of four turned around, the feeling that something was wrong came back, and it was stronger than before, as if there was a hand made of thorns, holding Orochimaru's intestines tightly.
"Wait!”
Orochimaru frowned and quickly called them.
"Lord Orochimaru? " The Uchiha family turned around in confusion, "Do you have any other instructions?"
"I remember, you had twins in your family today, didn't you? "
Orochimaru looked around, and took a special look at Uzumaki Kushina, who had a good relationship with Uchiha Mikoto, and found that the woman did not have a child in her arms.
"Didn't you bring the other one to the hospital?
" What are you talking about? " Uchiha Mikoto showed a kind smile, "If you are talking about Giyu, he should have been here long ago, right?"
"Is he here already? Wait." Suddenly, Orochimaru felt that his stomach and intestines seemed to be twisted together, and his heartbeat was as irregular as the steps of an honor guard suddenly disrupted: "Uchiha Giyu? "
When he mentioned this name, he felt an emotion called fear for the first time in a long time, and his already pale skin was even stained with a layer of death-like cyan.
"Crack--"
Thunder thundered in the sky for no reason, and blue cracks suddenly opened. The cloudless sky tore, and then came the downpour without warning!
When the cold rain hit his face, Orochimaru felt that he - no, the entire Konoha was falling like an elevator. It collapsed! Then, the world was spinning!
"Earthquake! "The crowd was instantly confused, and several panicked voices came and went, "It's an earthquake! Leave now! "
Orochimaru used chakra to stand firm, frowned and came to the edge of the rooftop. He saw that the Konoha Village was shaking like undulating waves on the sea. What's more, the entire village started Swirling with the Hokage Building as the center. It was like where he was, a whirlpool that could suck everything in!
Followed by a stronger earthquake, a crack struck from a distance like the trembling handwriting of a god practicing calligraphy, and in an instant the entire Hokage building was split into two!
The half of the building where Orochimaru was not around tilted and instantly fell into the widening crack. Countless ninjas who had made great contributions on the battlefield fell one after another, and screams came and went. And, no one who fell could successfully gain a foothold on the ground, and could only crawl to the ground in less than half a second.
"How could there be such a strong earthquake! "
Orochimaru realized something was wrong and quickly looked at the Uchiha family, only to find that the family of four was like a big tree with roots, unwavering on the collapsed building!
The family just looked at him curiously, as if they were in another absolutely safe time and space, but Orochimaru is a crazy psychopath.
[ What the hell is going on?!]
The doubts in my heart have not ended yet, another burst of crackling sound like a thunder god beating a drum erupted from the south of Konoha Village.
Orochimaru Looking around, I found that the trees over there seemed to have been trampled by some invisible giant, and they fell down row by row!
In the end, the culprit pushed down the last row of trees like a herd of silver elephants charging into battle, and rushed into the battle. When he got to the building, he swallowed it up at lightning speed!
"It's a flood! It rains too much! The Naka River has burst its banks! "
[What kind of scale can a river burst its banks cause?! ]
Orochimaru felt like he was going crazy when he heard the shouting, [Could it be a ninja attack from another village? 】
And this is not over yet.
The cracks that are still spreading on the ground cut off the Ninja World Building and also cut off the Hokage Rock - but what is incredible is that after the Hokage Rock shattered, what spewed out was fiery red magma!
The earthquake has almost leveled the entire Konoha!
However, there was an explosion of magma before and a roar of water nearly twenty meters high in the back. The few living people were submerged and swallowed up one by one. In the end, it seemed that only he and the Uchiha family were standing on the Hokage Building, the only uncollapsed building in the whole village.
[Are you kidding me? ]
Just when Orochimaru thought that he was under some Sharingan illusion, a familiar voice sounded in the distant sky, but it seemed to appear directly in his mind.
[ To people like you, I am an earthquake, a flood, a volcanic eruption, and an irresistible tsunami. ]
"Who is it?" Orochimaru looked around in panic, but there were only raging waves except for the red magma.
[I am a meteorite hanging above your head that may fall at any time. I am a natural disaster that you cannot predict and cannot avoid. ]
The muffled sounds of popping sounds one after another.
Orochimaru noticed that the corpses of those who died in the natural disaster all exploded into crimson blood mist, like organized migratory birds, connecting into countless thread-like streams and flying into the night sky - to be precise, It's flying to the bright moon.
[As long as you are seen in a place with light, as long as you hurt someone and are known, I will give up everything I am doing...]
The blood mist gathered together and dyed the entire moon red.
[No matter the cost, I will hunt you down to the end of the world! ]
The Uchiha family who had stayed with him on the roof all showed subtle smiles, and suddenly turned into ink stains and flew into the sky - the Uchiha couple and Uchiha Itachi turned into three tomoe on the red moon, and the infant Uchiha Sasuke turned into a black ball surrounded by three tomoe, or in other words, the pupil of a giant Sharingan.
At this moment, the biting cold air froze every blood vessel in Orochimaru's body.
As much as he once had an unstoppable desire for the Sharingan, he now had just as much fear for it.
The feeling of wanting to scream took off from his abdomen and spiraled upward, but in the end it could not break through his throat, which was as tight as the eye of a needle.
[ When you are most triumphant and think you have escaped, when you least expect it...]
[I will come behind you. ]
"Behind me?"
Orochimaru turned around suddenly, and hundreds of the most vicious snakes came out of his sleeves and bit forward, but none of the snakes bit anything.
There was no one on the concrete floor behind him.
Thunder tore through the sky once again, and just as it illuminated the entire world into a pale white negative, Orochimaru fell into frantic despair - Indeed, no one was behind him.
However, further behind him, outside the entire Konoha, outside the majestic mountains, outside this planet, an indescribable figure that almost covered the sky and the sun was standing quietly over there.
"Things like you shouldn't exist in this world."
The majestic voice from heaven came to mind, but it brought ruthless destruction.
The figure as huge as the sky raised his arm, pierced the atmosphere with his index finger, turned into a meteorite wrapped in flames, and pressed down towards Orochimaru's position!
It was clear that the meteorite was still hundreds of kilometers away, but Orochimaru had already felt his insignificance under this great force - an invisible wind pressure blew down from the sky, and Orochimaru fell down with half of the Hokage building!
The building was reduced to dust, and Orochimaru escaped by relying on the Substitute Technique. He turned into a monster with a human head and a snake body and got in through the crack that split the earth, desperately falling deeper!
However, the magma and torrents have already arrived nearby, and when they encounter a crack, they pour in mercilessly!
The denser fiery red lava was the first to fall on Orochimaru's snake body, and the pain was beyond description in words.
He planned to use the Substitute Technique to escape again, but the cold river water finally arrived and was poured on the magma. While thick steam was rising, it also turned the magma into hard rock!
Then, more magma and rain continued to accumulate on Orochimaru's body effortlessly, eventually wrapping him up, leaving only one eye belonging to a mentally broken man, looking at the sky lit by meteorites.
[You can never escape! ]
"Huh-"
In a dark stone cave, Orochimaru in the real world straightened up like a corpse, and immediately supported his painful and splitting forehead with his right hand.
His eyes were wide open in horror, and his physical condition was still the same as in his dream. His chest was rising and falling rapidly like a blacksmith's bellows, and cold sweat overflowed from his pores like a stream.
"It's so miserable. The nightmares can't stop for a day."
A white Zetsu half-body emerged from the ground and taunted with a smile: "When you are awake, you are waiting to be killed, but when you are asleep, you can't escape this kind of mental torture. Your life is really miserable."
He slowly moved to the stone bed where Orochimaru was sitting, and asked with some curiosity: "If I were you, wouldn't it be better to die completely? Aren't you ninjas all--'What if? Do you want me to live in humiliation, why not kill me? Or do you have no sense of honor anymore?"
"As an artificial intelligent creature, your curiosity is very strong."
Orochimaru after the headache subsided slightly, he let go of his hand and said half-jokingly in a gloomy tone: "Even the 'Sage of Six Paths’ of the current generation has given up his dignity and he is living in humiliation. How can I refuse my fate?"
"You mean Pain?" White Zetsu was silent for a while, and then asked a little stiffly: "What do you mean by this? Who can do anything to him? How could he be humiliated?"
"Maybe I am anticipating the threat of others. It may still lack some firepower, but you can tell at a glance who is taking the initiative to participate in their destiny and who is being forced to do things they don’t want to do.”
Orochimaru stood up, rolled up the towel in the corner and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, "Pain is a person who talks a lot of nonsense and has a strong desire to control. Back then, I just wanted to join the Akatsuki organization, and he prepared a lot of questions to test my reliability.”
"But a few times before, after he helped me solve the hidden danger of the Living Corpse Reincarnation, when he asked questions about Uchiha Giyu, his questions were very general, as if he was just following a script arranged by others.”
"So I guess the current real owner of the Akatsuki organization is someone else, right? A person who truly works for himself will not be so unenthusiastic."
White Zetsu did not respond directly, "I think you are too stimulated by the dream, your brain has become stupid."
A glint flashed in Orochimaru's eyes.
This white thing has a very strict mouth. But if he guesses wrong, it will attract more than just this wave of ridicule.
[As expected, even the 'gods' of the Kingdom of Rain are controlled by them. But, how do they do this? ]
[With the life of that blue-haired woman? Or is it the fate of the Rain Country? Or do they have the means to directly suppress the Rinnegan?]
"If you don't want to say it, just stop it."
Orochimaru arranged his hair and looked at the wall clock in the crypt: "What did they send you to do this time? What kind of big move are they going to make, which needs my life to be sacrificed to attract attention?”
"I'm not just saying this for myself - as cautious as I am, I have been able to avoid that idiot Jiraiya over and over again over the years, but I have been repeatedly caught by a brat who is not even a ninja. —— If something like this happens many times, it will become a flaw in itself.”
"Honestly, I think he should have already suspected this."
The truth of the matter is not much different from what Kabuto Yakushi estimated based on limited information.
Orochimaru is indeed a cover used by the Akatsuki organization to attract Uchiha Giyu and divert attention.
Whenever the Akatsuki organization makes any big move and Uchiha Giyu happens to be nearby, they will betray Orochimaru's location through the gold exchange so that Uchiha Giyu cannot pay attention to their activities.
And every time Orochimaru is resurrected after being killed, it is indeed the human path of Pain's Six Paths that consolidates his wasted soul and spiritual power.
But what Kabuto Yakushi didn't guess was that Orochimaru didn't work for Pain, and the Akatsuki organization didn't work for Pain either.
Both of them are now Akatsuki's tools, not even official members.
"I'm not here to have fun this time."
White Zetsu stretched out his hand, revealing the simple ring in his palm, "You forgot about this thing after you moved your hiding place last time. Hiruko wanted to find you but couldn't contact you. That's why I was asked to deliver it."
When he mentioned "Hiruko", Orochimaru wrinkled his nose as if smelling a foul smell, but he immediately restrained himself.
Hiruko was a contemporary of Konoha Sannin. Because he had no ninja talent, he stayed in Konoha as a researcher after graduation.
Although he was humble and in a low position, he made good use of this low sense of existence. He conducted human experiments privately in Konoha and developed a forbidden technique called "Chimera Technique", which can seize the Bloodline limit of others.
After the incident, he used a trap to escape the pursuit of the Sannin, and has since become a traitorous ninja without a trace.
It was more than two years ago that Orochimaru met the other party again.
To be honest, Hiruko can be regarded as his savior - after being eliminated by Uchiha Giyu for the first time, it was Hiruko who released him from Mitarashi Anko's curse seal of heaven.
However, this old classmate who was once mediocre seemed to look down on him, and at the same time he was worried that Orochimaru would affect his status in the Akatsuki organization. Together with Sasori the Red Sand, Orochimaru was kicked out of the laboratory of the Akatsuki organization.
Since then, Orochimaru has entered a cycle of "killed-resurrected-killed", living in a nightmare all the time.
"..."
Orochimaru thought for a while, then took the ring and input chakra. Within about five seconds, a colorful short black shadow appeared in front of him.
It was Hiruko who relied on Pain's Rinnegan to use the Magic Lantern Body Technique. (Astral Projection Jutsu)
"Orochimaru." Hiruko said, "I haven't seen you for a few months, and you look like you are going crazy. The dark circles under your eyes may be a symptom of brain damage."
"It's all thanks to you."
Orochimaru responded with a sneer: "Thanks to you, I haven't had time to study those forbidden arts recently. If you are thinking about these things, I'm afraid I will disappoint you."
"Ninjutsu, forbidden arts, and Compared with our current research, they are all outdated."
Although Hiruko is short in stature, his arrogance can be felt even from thousands of miles away, "Do you still remember that before you left, That shark that Hoshigaki Kisame gave us?"
"How could I forget a creature that requires the power of the Rinnegan to subdue."
Orochimaru frowned,"I remember, later we found that even if the heart of that shark was taken out It can still live independently.”
"We tried to infuse the blood produced by it into the bodies of other animals, but the result was nothing more than creating a group of cannibalistic monsters. "
If the blood produced by the heart is given to a human being, the person will choose to eat the human being; if it is given to a rabbit, the rabbit will also eat the rabbit; if it is given to a tiger, the tiger will also give priority to eating the tiger.
Although the blood produced by the heart can mutate the subject. The bodies of living creatures provide them with a large amount of natural energy, but they also seem to deprive them of their intelligence.
Orochimaru judged that the shark heart was uncontrollable even more than the curse seal, so he did not pay much attention to that thing at the time. What's more, he was kicked out of the Akatsuki organization not long after.
"That is a thing of the past. I used the Chimera Technique to transform the heart, and it is now under my control. "
Hiraku smiled proudly, "Through it, I can directly convey orders to the animals affected by the blood, and sometimes I can even see what they see. I released a batch of experimental products in the ocean and manipulated them to deal with the Kirigakure ninjas. In less than two months, I collected more information than those white retarded people collected in a year..."
“Hey!” White Zetsu, who was lying on the gun, raised his fist in protest, but no one cared about his feelings.
"What about humans?"
"Ordinary humans who are directly injected into the blood will go crazy due to the influx of large amounts of natural energy, which is not much different from your pet named Jugo."
Hiruko shared his research results: "But if Every time an ordinary person ingests diluted blood, the concentration of which does not exceed one thousandth of a drop of blood, then the blood will subtly change their bodies. A group of fishermen in the Country of Waves have been catching and eating those experimental products for more than half a year. Their physical strength is no less than that of ordinary wandering ninjas or samurai.”
"Although a few fishermen had the urge to eat people, there was no such mutation that turned them into monsters. "
”..." Orochimaru was silent for a while and asked: "Can you control them like animals?"
"I cannot.”
Orochimaru chuckled when he heard the answer: "The cycle is long and the results are slow. I don't think your research is meaningful."
"You are wrong." Hiruko had known that Orochimaru would say this:"Although I cannot control them consciously, I have successfully used things like dreams to exert hints on them from the subconscious level.”
"When the blood gradually accumulated in their bodies exceeds the critical point, it is not impossible to directly transmit orders."
”Since you are so optimistic," Orochimaru asked, pretending to be puzzled: "Then what are you doing to me? If you are just showing off, it would be unreasonable. It fits your identity..."
"Of course not."
Hiruko said seriously: "Ingesting undiluted blood will cause ordinary people to lose their minds directly, so we can only use a step-by-step approach: But For ninjas with chakra, it's a different matter, so there's no need to go to such trouble."
"Let me guess..." Orochimaru showed a sinister smile, "But when you gave the ninja a blood transfusion, he was unable to control the balance of the large influx of natural energy and chakra, they all turned into inorganic objects such as stone statues, right?"
"Worse." Hiruko shook his head and sighed, "They melted directly into a pile of mud."
"So, you need technology that can balance natural energy and chakra."
Orochimaru grinned, showing his gleaming teeth, "At this time, you thought of the curse seal, and you need me, who was excluded. Are you ok?"
The so-called curse seal is a simplified Sage Mode - it not only helps the owner absorb natural energy, but also automatically balances the relationship between chakra and natural energy.
Although its growth rate is not as exaggerated as that of Sage Mode, and its side effects are also very strong, it's only advantage is that it can be mass-produced and quickly produced.
"Isn't this a good thing for you?"
Hiruko never thought that Orochimaru would refuse:"Firstly, you will be useful to the Akatsuki organization, so you no longer have to act as a bait; secondly, you will help me complete the task."
After this experiment, the members of the Akatsuki organization will become more powerful after being transformed.
"By then, except for the leader, everyone else will also have the confidence to deal with Uchiha Giyu…”
"Don't you want to avenge your shame? Orochimaru?"
Orochimaru nodded in approval: "This result is indeed what I want."
The Akatsuki organization is now also the target of his revenge.
Uchiha Giyu was the one who stabbed him, but they were the ones who pushed him towards the blade.
"Since you agreed, I will report to the leader. We will send someone to bring you back when we approach the land. During this period, you should hide well."
After achieving his goal, Hiruko immediately ended the communication .
"It seems that you are free." White Zetsu seemed to be happy for Orochimaru, but he also sounded a sense of loss that he can no longer watch the fun.
"There is still a big gap between being temporarily needed and being irreplaceable." Orochimaru was noncommittal about White Zetsu's optimism.
He already had other plans.
He looked around for a week and asked, "You haven't gone out to arrest anyone recently, have you?"
“I calculated that it hasn't been the time for you to die recently, so you didn't act rashly." In other words, "Since no one is missing, this place is very safe, he will never think you will be here."
White Zetsu looked above his head, "After all, this is in the "Body" of his ancestor Uchiha Madara."
“This is best."
Orochimaru closed his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief, but in the peaceful darkness, the scene of meteorites falling from the sky in his dream suddenly appeared again.
Orochimaru opened his eyes again with a serious expression, and looked at the surrounding stone walls uneasily. He always felt that an earthquake would destroy the place at any time and expose him to the broad daylight.
However, beyond the statue of Uchiha Madara where he hides, is the moonlight in the Valley of the End.
Less than a kilometer away, a group of men dressed as warriors were marching through the dark forest carrying a tied-up hunter.
"Sir, this is already the sixth time this month. If we continue to arrest like this, won't we attract the attention of the Konoha ninjas?"
"That's right. It's time to move to a farther place." The leading samurai wiped a handful of sweat on his forehead.
"However, the young master's illness is really strange. He actually insists on eating..." The follower carrying the hunter paused, "You can only regain your sanity by eating this kind of food."
“Stop talking nonsense." The leader ordered sternly: "Quickly. We must rush back before dawn, and we must not be seen!"
"Yes!"
That's it.
A big pot...
suddenly landed on Orochimaru's head.
At the same time, in the Kingdom of Snow, the Royal Palace.
The current daimyo of Snow Country, Kazahana Dotō, was knocked unconscious with his hands cut off and thrown aside. After wiping his saber, Uchiha Giyu took out a rolled map and pen from his belt and marked the location of Snow Country. ×.
[It was said that he was missing, but it turned out that he was arresting people to build the railway. It had nothing to do with human experimentation. ]
On the map, those small and remote countries are marked with ×s. The Kingdom of Earth and the Kingdom of Wind also have sporadic marks.
In the end, only the clean Fire Nation was left, which looked more and more suspicious…
