Uchiha Giyu chapter 159
🕑 Added 2024-03-24 09:10:04 +0000 UTCChapter 159 Swapping Roles
The moment Tokito Muichiro appeared, Suigetsu Hozuki's head almost turned 180 degrees to look at Konan.
He had been away from the Land of Rain for more than a month, and Muichiro had been resurrected for less than ten days, so the two did not know each other.
Yakushi Kabuto also doesn't know much about Muichiro.
His daily activities range from hospital to school to dormitory. He only heard from students that a cute boy came to the village, but he has never seen it with his own eyes.
Now that he finally saw his true appearance, he immediately smelled a sense of familiarity in Muichiro's hair color and expression, and glanced at Konan with a meaningful look.
Just when Konan felt that she had never experienced such an embarrassing situation in her life, Hozuki Suigetsu was worthy of being a righteous disciple.
He actually completely ignored the atmosphere, pointed at Tokito Muichiro and asked Konan loudly: "Why have you never said that you have such a big child?"
"Do you have a child?"
"A child?"
" Huh?"
Hozuki Suigetsu's voice vibrated back and forth in Konan's mind and even in the blood vessels of her body like a curse.
Her skin was hot and it felt like there were countless ants crawling on her body.
Her own mental imaginary situation of having a private conversation with Kocho Shinobu was difficult enough.
But she never expected that someone would yell out her suspicions as if they were facts.
Just when she didn't know how to behave - whether to take the opportunity to question Kocho Shinobu, or to deny and draw a line,Shinazugawa Genya, who was originally following Muichiro, quickly stepped forward and kicked Hozuki Suigetsu's calf. Exploding him into water splashes.
"Ouch! What are you doing?! I'm almost out of chakra. What should I do if my legs can't connect?"
"Then get out of here! Stop talking nonsense here!"
[Good job. ]
At least three people in the room had the same idea. As for who it is, let’s not say for now.
After pushing Suigetsu aside who was full of anger, Shinazugawa Genya asked about the business: "Senior Shinobu, what happened?"
Yakushi Kabuto pushed up his glasses silently.
He always felt that Shinazugawa Genya's name for Kocho Shinobu was very strange.
The word "senior" is not necessarily used to address elders in their culture.
More often, the terms "senior" and "junior" are used between two people, which means that they have attended the same school or worked in the same department.
Kocho Shinobu's genes are almost identical to those of Senju Hashirama, so it's almost obvious that she is a cyborg. So why would someone call an artificial human Senior?
On the other hand, this Shinazugawa Genya is obviously a corpse with the same hair color and bone quality as Kimimaro, but he happens to be the same as Kocho Shinobu, with a surname that is not even close to the bloodline limit. The more I think about it, the more suspicious it becomes.
Unfortunately, Yakushi Kabuto didn't have the opportunity to get the genetic data of Shinazugawa Genya for testing.
But Yakushi Kabuto is almost certain that Shinazugawa Genya's origins must be similar to that of Kocho Shinobu, and he may even have been created by her herself.
Now, a third suspicious child appeared, with hair color and expression similar to Konan.
When Kocho Shinobu sent the crow to deliver the message, he said "Hashira's identity". What does this sentence mean?
Could it be said that these artificial humans have a private organization? What does the word "pillar" mean? leader?
Yakushi Kabuto waited silently, waiting for Tokito Muichiro to call Kocho Shinobu.
If it is also a "senior", then things will be really interesting.
"Don't be nervous. I called you here because I want you to see these things."
Kocho Shinobu pointed behind him.
"..."
Genya and Muichiro looked at the water tank and then at Kocho Shinobu, their eyes synchronized with confusion.
Kocho Shinobu glanced back and realized that the octopuses were missing.
"Do you still have this ability?"
She took out an electric shock rod from her desk, put the electric shock head into the water, and then pressed the button -
The four octopuses in the tank appeared struggling and twisted.
As Hozuki Suigetsu said, this kind of octopus that kept two hundred Kirigakure ninjas busy for two months was very cunning, and its mimicry ability was actually developed to the point of becoming invisible.
"It's okay now." Kocho Shinobu looked at the two of them, or to be more precise, Muichiro, "Observe carefully to see if there is anything strange about them."
Muichiro immediately understood, and his eyes that were originally slightly distracted suddenly became focused, shooting towards one of the octopuses like a sharp arrow.
After a moment of silence, his face as relaxed as a cloud suddenly tightened, "It is different from other octopuses I have seen before.”
"Be more specific?" Kocho Shinobu leaned forward and asked, "What is wrong with them?"
Although she had already seen some clues through dissection, If she could know the result of seeing with the transparent world, It would help her to understand more.
"Its siphon mouth is not connected to the digestive organs."
Muichiro pointed through the glass to what most people thought was the "mouth" of the octopus.
In fact, this is the place where normal octopuses excrete and spray ink.
If the octopus needs to move faster, the siphon will also spray water behind it, acting like a rocket thruster.
"Wait a minute..." Konan interrupted Muichiro strangely, "You, you can directly see inside its body?"
”What is this? Konoha's Byakugan?
"Isn't that just like the teacher?"
Suigetsu, who had connected his legs, shouted: "Wait a minute, are you the son of the angel aunt, or the teacher's twin brother? I remember that guy's name is Sasuke..."
"Don't make a fuss, Kyojuro can do the same thing."
Kocho Shinobu choked up Hozuki Suigetsu who continued to think divergently, and explained by the way.
"Muichiro was discovered by Giyu in the Land of Snow. He was born with the ability to learn anything quickly. This way of observation should have been learned from Giyu."
These words simply reversed cause and effect. But it dispelled Konan and Suigetsu's doubts very well.
Of course Yakushi Kabuto didn't believe a word of it. But he was very discerning and didn't say a word that was unnecessary.
"So, is there any problem if it is not connected to the digestive organs?"
Shinazugawa Genya asked in a timely manner.
He was illiterate and didn't quite understand why Kocho Shinobu was so nervous to call them back because the octopus couldn't poop.
"It has no excretory function," Muichiro replied with a sullen face, "It means it can completely digest the food it eats."
"Wait..." Genya looked at Muichiro in disbelief, and then at Kocho Shinobu, "You mean?"
The two nodded at the same time.
They usually look the most relaxed and comfortable, but today they also showed unusual dignity.
In Genya's understanding, there is only one kind of creature in the world that does not need to excrete, and that is demons.
They may spit out the parts they don't like, such as the bones they have eaten, but the digested food will be directly converted into blood in the demon's body instead of feces.
At the same time, the octopuses seemed to have finally recovered from the electric shock, but they clung to the glass wall of the water tank with a tacit understanding, as if they were trying to chew off Muichiro's fingers despite a layer of obstruction.
Kocho Shinobu remembered this scene.
"Of course, this alone is not enough to draw a conclusion."
Kocho Shinobu consciously moved closer to the water tank, and sure enough, two more octopuses gave up Muichiro's fingers, appearing to be more interested in her, "There are other strange things. ?"
"There is a strange thing growing at the root of each of their arms and legs..."
Muichiro tilted his head in confusion, "I can't tell its purpose at the moment."
"What is that?" Konan asked. .
"It is the independent brain of the octopus that controls the wrist." Yakushi Kabuto explained: "The average octopus has three hearts and nine brains, each of which is responsible for different functions."
Just the description of the multiple brains and hearts has made Shinazugawa Genya has some bad associations.
Suddenly, Muichiro said aloud: "But the thing on the arms and legs of this octopus is not just a brain, but a whole set of organs that have not yet developed."
“Ah?" Hozuki Suigetsu didn't know how many times he had used this word today.
"That's what I mean," Kocho Shinobu walked to the desk with a solemn expression, lifted the wooden box that was upside down on the table, and revealed the dissected octopus body.
"If you only attack the head and body of the octopus, you can certainly kill it..."
Everyone gathered around and noticed that the cut open octopus should have been dead for a long time, but its tentacles were still jumping around.
However, after being illuminated by the light, the tentacles pretended to be dead and calmed down, as if it did so because it felt everyone's gaze.
"But each of its arms and legs is absorbing the remaining nutrients in the head and body, cultivating the undeveloped organs in each body."
Muichiro stared at the corpse on the table and broadcast live what was happening under its skin.
"That is to say," a rare trace of surprise flashed through Yakushi Kabuto's eyes, "if they absorb the nutrients from the corpse parts, they will change from one to eight? No wonder two hundred ninjas have been cleaning them for so long and couldn't exterminate them."
"That should be it."
Kocho Shinobu suddenly understood something.
"I remember that almost all Kirigakure ninjas carry swords. I guess the way they clean up these octopuses is to chop or stab them in the sea, right?"
"That's what they do."
Hozuki Suigetsu nodded, "Except for Terumi Mei and her clan, who directly dissolved the octopus with acid, most of the others just split open the big head of the octopus with a sword and that's it." (Note: The bulge on the top of the octopus is actually its body, its head is located in the middle part connecting the body and the arms and legs, which is the small area around the eyes.)
Then, he clapped his hands together: "I didn't think it was important before so I didn't say it. These little octopuses really only have eight legs…”
"But those big guys half as tall as a man, at least started out with twelve legs. "
In other words, it seems that only one has been killed, but there are at least twelve more being gestated.
"What a wonderful creature... Such a powerful survival ability, more tenacious than snakes and lizards, like Lord Orochimaru. "
Yakushi Kabuto adjusted the frame of the mirror, "But I have never heard of such an interesting existence before. It looks like a new species.”
"I'm really curious as to how it evolved into what it is now. Even if we don't mention this ability to split, the fact that it doesn't need to be excreted already violates most of the basic rules of life."
”Yeah, I asked that before. A slug that talks and makes a sibilant sound."
Hozuki Suigetsu added: "It even poops after eating."
"Is it a more special species than a Sage? This is really unexpected."
"You Remember Hidan?" Kocho Shinobu suddenly looked at Yakushi Kabuto.
"Of course, how could I forget? A person who can survive with only one head, even Root and Orochimaru-sama wanted to know his secret."
Yakushi Kabuto nodded: "Why, Miss Shinobu, do you think there is some kind of connection between Hidan and this octopus?"
"Ah!" When Hidan was mentioned, Hozuki Suigetsu suddenly showed an exaggerated expression of "I remembered it": "That shark!"
Hearing this word, Kocho Shinobu, Genya and Muichiro exchanged glances with each other. Konan, who had been listening in, was completely confused. "What shark? What the hell are you talking about?"
"On the night when Kirigakure Village attacked Yugakure Village, the teacher chopped off Hidan's head, but the part below the guy's neck was swallowed by a shark that was summoned by the ninja of the Hoshigaki clan."
Hozuki Suigetsu recalled: "Later, the teacher tortured Hidan's head on the way to the Water Country. The blood from his neck dripped into the sea, causing several wild sharks to mutate and even grow crystal scales that could reflect sunlight. Ordinary weapons can't even damage its skin.”
"According to the teacher, just a few drops of Hidan's blood allowed those sharks to complete millions of years of evolution in a few days..."
“That's not evolution, that's genetic mutation.” Kocho Shinobu corrected him sternly: "From the current point of view, these octopuses that have mutated super digestive abilities should have been affected by the shark that devoured Hidan's torso."
"Either the shark died for some reason and the body was eaten, and these octopuses or their ancestors were one of the eaters.”
"Or the shark was injured and the blood spread, infecting the octopus. Of course, other possibilities cannot be ruled out..."
What Kocho Shinobu is most worried about is that the special features of the shark are discovered and therefore it is being used by some people.
After all, it is a Summoning beast.
Just like Katsuyu, a summoning beast does not necessarily sign a contract with only one person.
Although the Hoshigaki Kujira is dead, the other contractors of that shark will find out the clues sooner or later. It is only a matter of time.
Unless all Hoshigaki clan members are dead.
"Is this certain? "
Yakushi Kabuto, who once wanted to discover immortality through Hidan's blood, didn't believe in this simple visual diagnosis.
He said to Kocho Shinobu: "Why don't we take these octopuses back and do a test on the machine to see if we can find the same components as Hidan in their blood..."
”It doesn't have to be so troublesome."
Shinazugawa Genya didn't have the patience. So he put his hand directly into the water tank, grabbed one and held it tightly in his hand, "If it has demon cells in its body, I will know after eating it!"
['demon'? ] Yakushi Kabuto thought, [It's a pretty appropriate title...]
Hozuki Suigetsu: "Hey, why don't you bake it first? There might be parasites in this thing!"
But Shinazugawa Genya had already cut off the octopus. It's eight arms and legs were thrown under the feet, the fluttering head and body were stuffed into the mouth, chewed crunchily, and then swallowed with a "gulp".
"How does it taste?" Hozuki Suigetsu obviously had a disgusted look on his face, but he still approached curiously, "Can you eat it without dipping it in the sauce?"
However, Genya just pushed him away in disgust, closed his eyelids, and silently felt the changes inside his body.
After three long seconds, Shinazugawa Genya's eyes opened.
"Hiss—" Hozuki Suigetsu inhaled, while retreating, but the others gathered around to observe carefully.
Shinazugawa Genya's original white sclera turned into a misty gray, and was covered with red and black bloodshot threads that spread like branches.
These eyes looked like they belonged to a corpse that had died of suffocation.
But this change only lasted for two or three breaths and then subsided.
"Sure enough, it's that guy!"
Shinazugawa Genya hunched over as if exhausted, covering his head with his hands like a delirium patient, "I can't remember that feeling wrong! That's his smell, I won't remember it wrong!"
There is a world and a boundary between life and death!
The blood of Kibutsuji Muzan once again lingered on the taste buds of Shinazugawa Genya.
Although only for a few seconds!
Kocho Shinobu's fair face is almost transparent.
Even though she had expected it, it still gave her a big shock when the expectation was confirmed.
After she came to this world, the first meaningful word Giyu said to her was "shark".
For three years, she thought that there had been no news about the shark and that it might have died in the depths of the ocean. However, it finally surfaced and began to affect the world.
"Why are you making such an expression?"
Hozuki Suigetsu watched the familiar smile disappear from Kocho Shinobu's face, and felt even more nervous than when he saw her smile: "The Kingdom of Rain is so far away from the sea, no matter what, It won't affect us. Besides, now that we know the characteristics of this octopus, the worst thing we can do is write a letter and tell Terumi Mei how to solve it..."
"Think carefully." Muichiro stared at him and said, "That's the sea. If demon blood floods in the sea, it will definitely affect not only this octopus, but all the surrounding marine life."
"How long is the coastline of this continent? How many people live by the sea? How much seafood is shipped inland every day? How many people have the habit of eating raw octopus or sashimi?”
Kabuto Yakushi was the first to react: "So Shinobu-san is worried that if Hidan's cells enter the body of the eater again with the fish, it will eventually accumulate in the human body. So by that time, it will be humans who have mutated. "
"Just like those evil cultists in Yugakure Ninja Village! " Hozuki Suigetsu thought of the night that shocked him so much, "Those guys can eat people!"
Fighting each other is a common thing in Kirigakure Village. But taking out a human's liver and eating it was his first time, and he still has lingering fears when he thinks about it.
"Genya's transformation just lasted only a few seconds, then... This shows that these octopuses have very few demon cells and have not mutated to have stronger abilities. "
Back then, a small piece of meat from the four-and-a-half-year-old demon was able to demonize the Shinazugawa Genya for an entire night. The Hidan cells in this octopus were estimated to be less than one ten thousandth of that small piece.
But the quantity Once added up, the effect is still very impressive.
Kocho Shinobu raised her head: "If we can eliminate these marine creatures from the source, we may be able to avoid the worst thing from happening. Hozuki Suigetsu! "
"Eh?" Suddenly being named, Suigetsu was a little at a loss.
"You already know how to deal with this kind of creature, right? "
Hozuki Suigetsu scratched the back of his head and replied tentatively: "you need to catch it on land and burn it to ashes, you absolutely can't let it return to the sea with its legs and feet intact? "
"That's okay." Kocho Shinobu changed her voice, "Or gather all the octopuses in a pit and let Terumi Mei use acid to completely destroy them from the cellular level. This is the safest method of all. "
If She has seen Onoki's Dust Release, the safest way for Kocho Shinobu is probably to eliminate this octopus at the molecular level.
"Wait a minute!" Hozuki Suigetsu was inexplicably surprised and asked for proof: "Do you mean to let me go back? "
As long as he's not sitting in the hospital serving a chamber pot, he's willing to do anything.
Besides, catching an octopus with invisible abilities sounds quite interesting.
"Your ability is just right for catching fish.”
"In addition to you, Haku will go back together with you. Ice Release can be more effective when used in the sea."
This was something Kocho Shinobu had carefully considered.
Since we are going to interfere with the mission of Kirigakure Village, it is best to choose some familiar faces.
"Miss Konan, do you think?"
Haku now works in the Government Affairs Center and is considered a subordinate of Konan, so Kocho Shinobu will ask for her permission.
"Ajisai can do his work first." Konan nodded in agreement.
Although Konan still doesn't think this matter will affect the Land of Rain, Haku seems to have family over the sea, and it would be unkind of her not to allow it.
"Then let's decide."
Momochi Zabuza was still in the Kingdom of Water, and it was no longer a day or two since Haku wanted to go back and take a look. Kocho Shinobu didn't think that the other party would refuse this proposal at all.
"You must do your best to eliminate this kind of creature. If necessary, you can ask the Great Slug Sage for help."
"Okay, I'll inform him now!" After Hozuki Suigetsu said that, he jumped out of the window and left.
"Not now!" Kocho Shinobu stopped him and looked to the other side, "Muichiro, before Haku leaves, go find him to learn Ice Release."
”Wait a minute..." Konan felt a little abrupt after speaking.
But having said it all, let’s finish it: “Miss Shinobu, do you want to ask this child to go with them?”
That’s the Kingdom of Water! Even though its reputation has improved in recent years, it is still in the Blood Mist Period.
She had been there once with Nagato and Madara, and had a very bad impression of the Kingdom of Water.
Konan didn't know what Muichiro's strength was, but she only knew that this kid was not very nice to talk to. If he was sent to that place, he would definitely not receive any courtesy.
"No." Kocho Shinobu certainly knew what Konan was worried about, "Hozuki Suigetsu said that those octopuses are from the country of waves. Then Muichiro and Genya, you two, go over there and investigate.”
" Which fish have problems, and to what extent, only people who have access to the transparent world can do this.”
Moreover, the country of Waves is isolated overseas and has poor resources, so the possibility of encountering ninjas is very small.
These two people had no experience fighting ninjas, but their personalities were very prone to conflicts, so it was a good choice to go there.
"Okay." Genya nodded. When he left the village for the first time, he was not as excited as he imagined because of the demon blood.
However, he was quite grateful for his trust in Kocho Shinobu, so Genya secretly made up his mind to do things well this time.
"But as for Ice Release..." Muichiro stretched out his foot and stepped on the arm and foot that was thrown on the ground. It was quickly frozen hard by a layer of frost, "I have already learned it."
Yakushi Kabuto's pupils shrank slightly. Although Ice Release is a synthetic type of Bloodline Limit, and its owners are not rare, it has only been a few days since you came to the Kingdom of Rain? Can you actually synthesize a kind of bloodline limit?
Kocho Shinobu had already expected it, and nodded gently: "In this case, you can have a good rest tonight..."
"Miss Shinobu, I have a proposal." Konan suddenly spoke.
"Please tell me." Kocho Shinobu was afraid that Konan would say something that shouldn't let Muichiro go out at this time.
"Why don't you just leave this child to me this afternoon and evening."
Konan didn't know how much courage she mustered up to say this, "I think he is not only talented with Ice Release, but he is also very talented in the paper technique.
"Although this technique itself is not as powerful as bloodline Limit, it is more versatile in its versatility and has many variations that can cope with various crises.”
"On the other hand, I want to see how far this child can learn..."
She had already figured it out.
Seeing the abnormal state of Kocho Shinobu today, it was inappropriate to discuss Muichiro's matter with her.
It would be better to take this opportunity, firstly, to teach Muichiro more ways to protect himself; secondly, when they get along, she can also find out the origin of this child.
Once the matter is just a mistake, this will save you from speaking rashly and leaving a bad impression on Kocho Shinobu.
On the other side, Kocho Shinobu Shinobi was silent for nearly ten seconds.
It wasn't until Konan's nervous heartbeat almost shook the paper flowers off her chest that she said, "Muichiro, you decide for yourself."
”Origami is fun." Muichiro didn't answer clearly whether he was willing, but " "Very interesting" are enough to make Konan's heart burst with joy.
"So be it."
Kocho Shinobu knew that nothing was more important than the blood of Hidan on the other side of the sea.
She just wants these two people to get along without being too awkward. "Everyone, go get ready. We will meet outside Amegakure Village at eight o'clock tomorrow. Yakushi Kabuto, please stay for a while."
Soon, everyone jumped out of the window. After leaving the house, there were only two fake smile geniuses left in the office.
"I decided to do some experiments with Hidan."
Kocho Shinobu sat behind the desk, and Yakushi Kabuto stood opposite her.
"Please go back and look for old information, and then take a rest, because you may stay up all night tonight. If you doze off, I will be very troubled."
”Since it is something of interest, just thinking about it I can't fall asleep anymore."
Yakushi Kabuto made no secret of his interest in Hidan.
"However, when it comes to the topic of sleep... I am very curious about how Uchiha Giyu would react if he knew what happened today.”
"After all, whether it was intentional or not, the shark escaped from him."
“..."
Kocho Shinobu's expression has not changed, but she is actually having a headache.
Since Giyu opened his Sharingan all day long to accept his emotions, his whole temperament has improved greatly.
In Muichiro's words To describe it, Giyu in the previous life looked like a lifeless ornament, but this time when we met, he looked like a mimosa-like plant - I can't say that it was full of vitality, but at least it had some life and no longer looked like a walking corpse.
If Hidan's blood only infected animals in the sea, then everything would be fine. Giyu would probably only blame himself for affecting the lives of fishermen for a while.
But once a human becomes a monster like an evil cultist because of this, even if someone dies, then she doesn’t know what will happen.
“Please go out first. "
Hearing the hint of tiredness in Kocho Shinobu's voice, Yakushi Kabuto bowed slightly and left.
Kocho Shinobu sat there forlornly, but her brain was spinning at high speed like the propeller of an airplane.
About five minutes later, she had an idea, and She summoned Kyojuro's crow, Kaname.
She first briefly told Kaname about the octopus plague in the Kingdom of Water, and then explained her purpose of summoning it:"The Kingdom of Iron is a coastal peninsula. It should also be a country where seafood is the main food.”
"Tell Kyojuro and ask him to investigate the seafood markets in the major cities of the Iron Kingdom to see if there are any fish with abnormal development.”
"In addition, ask him to pay attention to whether there has been a recent increase in patients diagnosed with rabies, delirium and other mental illnesses in the local area. Especially those with money. "
The situation in the ninja world is a bit like the neon in ancient times. Many upper classes do not eat the meat of four-legged beasts, so they eat delicious raw fish sashimi instead.
Most ordinary people eat grilled fish, and In fact, there is no such big hidden danger.
"Yes." Kaname knew the seriousness, and after making sure he remembered every word of Kocho Shinobu, he asked: "Is there anything else I need to convey to Lord Kyojuro? "
”The last thing..."
Kocho Shinobu thought about it for a while before deciding: "When Kyojuro has finished handling these matters, ask him to come back as soon as possible to guard Amegakure Village on my behalf. I... need to go out. "
"yes!" Kaname turned into a ball of smoke and disappeared without a trace, Kocho Shinobu stood up and slowly walked to the window to look at the sky.
Unfortunately, today, like most days, the sun could not be seen.
Because she had to be on guard against One of the creatures named "Zetsu" in Konan's mouth. She or Kyojuro must guard here.
Kyojuro can feel Zetsu's malice through the nine-tailed chakra borrowed from Uzumaki Naruto.
As for Kocho Shinobu, she can learn about it at any time through the communication between the insects, If strange creatures appear in any corner of the village.
For three years, Kocho Shinobu has been guarding the Rain Hidden Village, and Kyojuro is like Helios's sun carriage, traveling around the entire ninja world.
But this time, They have to switch roles.
