Uchiha Giyu chapter 157
🕑 Added 2024-03-22 09:11:49 +0000 UTCChapter 157 Have you learned again?
The door to the Akatsuki organization's meeting room opened from the inside.
But what is surprising is that none of the people who came out were wearing the fire cloud robe that represented Akatsuki.
On the contrary, most of them are not even ninjas - none of these people are young, the youngest is thirty-five years old at first glance, more than half of them wear glasses, and there is an air about them that is completely different from that of ninjas, a different "weak" temperaments.
They walked together in twos and threes in the bright corridor leading to the elevator. Some were leisurely and content, some were full of indignation, and some even used walking sticks to quarrel with the people next to them. Their voices were louder than everyone except Kyojuro's—— "Idiot! You should have considered all the situations when writing the legal provisions from the beginning! Every 'extra-legal favor' comes at the expense of the country's credibility!"
"I think you are getting more confused as you are getting older! The details of each case are different, and each prisoner has different reasons for committing the crime. How can such rigid regulations be used to cover them all?"
"A crime is a crime. Only this fact is important. The motive has been there from the beginning. It shouldn’t be taken into consideration. Do we just believe what the prisoner says? Why are you so impatient? Does my proposal touch your sore spot? It seems that the matter of you being imprisoned for ten years when you were young is true? "
"Isn't it too despicable for a bastard to discuss matters? Isn't it too despicable to divulge old scores and engage in personal attacks? Do all those in jail deserve their punishment?"
"How dare you call me a bastard! You fucking kidnap me - - "
Bang!
Konan, who stayed in the conference hall, waved her sleeves and threw out two paper figures to close the door for her, blocking out the embarrassing live broadcast of the fight between middle-aged and elderly person.
Wearing a simple black uniform, she rested her left hand on the back of the chair and pinched her eyebrows with her right hand. She said softly: "I have never been so tired when I had meetings with those dangerous guys in the world in the past. The life of a ninja is very simple. Good decisions should be implemented immediately, and then adapt to changes.”
"But like now... this meeting has been going on all morning. I originally planned to compile fourteen laws today, but four of them can satisfy everyone. With such efficiency, when will we be able to negotiate a decent result? "
When the new law will be implemented, it will be the day when the Kingdom of Rain will make reappearance in the ninja world.
Although this country is gradually prospering, it has been isolated from the world for several years.
Now we only have the last few tasks left to make it reappear in the world. It was the last few things that almost wore away Konan's patience.
"I also know that everyone is looking forward to that day…”
"But, didn't Miss Shinobu say it? Let's discuss more now and ask them all to consider all aspects. After the law is implemented, they will not be embarrassed to fill the loopholes when encountering specific cases.”
"Otherwise, unjust and wrong cases will continue to appear one after another, and other countries will take the opportunity to attack our brand-new system. When the time comes, It becomes very difficult to quickly absorb foreigners to fill the population gap in the Rain Country. "
This explanation came from a red-haired woman in her thirties and wearing glasses at the other end of the conference hall.
She sorted out a stack of papers and stuffed them into a folder, then walked over slowly and handed it to Konan.
This person is Karin's mother Seoko. More than three years ago, Karin and Seoko were brought here to live here from the prison in Grass Village.
"Although those elders are a bit verbose, they are all carefully considered by Kyojuro, more than half of the professionals invited from various places had valuable experience in managing cities or villages. It's just that they lived in different regions and had different cultures in the past, so they had different views on the same thing.”
"So, I feel that letting them discuss freely here does not involve wrangling over rights or responsibilities. Not only should we not stop it, but we should allow them to continue talking and explain all the issues clearly and thoroughly."
Because the management of Kingdom of Rain was killed by Pain in a rage, Konan herself had no experience in managing a city with tens of thousands of people.
As for the details of currency issuance, water and electricity projects, and urban planning, even the well-read Kocho Shinobu knew very little, and Konan knew nothing about it…
Considering that there are specialties in the art, Kyojuro relied on his unique "People", professionals in different fields from all over the world are invited as consultants.
These people all held important positions, but most of them were ostracized by daimyo, nobles or ninja villages of various countries for similar reasons.
Some of them were dismissed, some were sidelined, some were imprisoned, and some were simply depressed.
Therefore, although these people have conflicting ideas with each other, without exception, they are not opponents of the "Daimyo-Ninja Village" system.
Adhering to the principle of listening and understanding, Kyojuro used various methods to get all these people here.
However, this consultant is not that consultant. These people are different from the advisory elders of Konoha. Not all of them serve in the management of Rain Country, and they play more of a think tank or encyclopedia type role.
In other words, it is useless for them all to agree on something that the head of state, Konan, opposes.
"This is all for today's meeting. Please consider them carefully when you go back. After all, it is you who ultimately makes the decision."
”I'm sorry to bother you, Miss Seoko."
Konan nodded lightly, but was still determined. I thought of taking this thing to Kocho Shinobu and taking another look at it to see if it could speed up the process.
Although she has grown in all aspects of governing the country in the past three years, that little girl who seems to be frail is always the first helper she thinks of when she questions herself.
"Is there anything else you need from me? If not, I'll take my leave first."
Seoko walked to the door, already planning to leave.
"There is something." Konan stopped her.
"I forgot to tell you before. This morning, Miss Shinobu conveyed the news about Karin and Kyojuro to me."
Seoko stood still with an expression of listening attentively.
"When they were guests at Mr. Mifune's place in Iron Country, they found two Uzumaki clan members who were anonymous."
“Another clan member showed up!"
Uzumaki Seoko's orange-red eyes flashed with surprise, and then showed some concern, "In the Iron Kingdom, their life should be considered comfortable?"
"Yes. These two are brothers. After dyeing their hair black, they worked as pastry chefs in the Iron Kingdom for more than ten years. They both had grandchildren not long ago."
Konan relayed Kyojuro's statement, "They worked in the Iron Country for more than ten years. The country's national property is not small, so asking them to move here is unlikely.”
"But with the persuasion of Kyojuro and Karin, they are willing to come to the Country of Rain to reunite with you for some time. If I'm not mistaken, they should already be packing their bags as we speak. "
“...I never thought I would see such a day in my lifetime. "
Seoko smiled contentedly and said, "I think my grandparents and grandmothers will be very happy if they know what I am doing. After so many years, we were able to reunite with our clan members who were far away. It’s really thanks to these two children who are willing to take the trouble to find them, especially Kyojuro. After all, this is not his responsibility..."
Seoko paused, "Master Konan, if possible, I would like to take two days off to prepare.”
"Leave the job of secretary to those two juniors who can use ink. I have collaborated with them before on the research of new storage scrolls, and they are both very reliable children."
"You are talking about the pair of young brothers brought by Giyu..."
Konan nodded, "The older brother of the two brothers has been working under me and has never made any mistakes. He should be competent. After all, he was trained by Danzo Shimura. His intelligence talent..."
Speaking of Shimura Danzo, Uzumaki Seoko's eyebrows suddenly darkened: "There is one thing I haven't asked for a long time.”
"Lord Konan, is there any news about Nagato...?"
When she heard that familiar yet unfamiliar name, Konan's stiff expression collapsed for a moment like melting wax.
But after years of training, she immediately changed back to a brave face, and shook her head as if there was no fluctuation in her heart.
"If Nagato himself doesn't want to be found, I'm afraid... There is no one in this world who can find him. He has more ways to block perception ninjutsu than we think. "
Just a special sealing tag can have a similar effect, not to mention that Nagato himself knows many techniques to isolate perception.
"I'm sorry to make you sad..."
Uzumaki Seoko had learnt Mind's Eye of the Kagura from Kyojuro. Naturally, she will not be deceived by Konan's pretending to be strong.
"What a pity... If he had waited a little longer and seen what the Land of Rain is like now, he might not have continued with his dangerous plan. "
Listening to what Seoko said, Konan's fists were so tight that they turned white in the wide sleeves.
Three years ago, it was just a few days before Uchiha Giyu, Kocho Shinobu and Rengoku Kyojuro moved the orphans to the Land of Rain. Nagato suddenly disappeared without warning.
He met privately with "Uchiha Madara" and Black Zetsu at the former headquarters of the Akatsuki organization, and then disappeared without a trace.
Nagato left a letter in the old headquarters saying that he could no longer trust Konan, who was influenced by Kyojuro, and decided to exclude her from the Akatsuki organization.
And he and other members of the Akatsuki organization will continue the ultimate weapon plan to "solve all disputes once and for all" ...
This incident is very strange when you think about it carefully.
Because Konan remembers very clearly that before Nagato disappeared, he was so looking forward to meeting Kyojuro again. But in the blink of an eye, he actually left the country of rain - Although she had suspected that there were other possibilities for the matter, the so-called "Uchiha Madara" who had been hiding from them since the day he met them should not be Nagato's opponent.
Even if he kidnapped Nagato, With Nagato's character he won't go without a fight.
When a ninja of his level fights an enemy, there will always be some traces left behind...
After thinking about it, Konan finally accepted that "Nagato still can’t let go of his identity as a god." With this possibility, she endured the pain of being betrayed by her best friend, and instead focused all her energy on building the Kingdom of Rain.
Now, this country has a completely new look, but there is not even an old friend around her.
Suddenly, it’s like this Konan was surrounded by a sense of absurdity. She stood silently, staring at the folder in her hand in a daze. It took a while before she came back to her senses.
"Seoko? "
She looked around and found that the conference room was empty.
She actually didn't even know when Miss Seoko left.
The quarrel outside the door had also disappeared. It seemed that all the participants should have left by the elevator.
Konan took a deep breath, walked slowly to the door, stared at the conference hall and turned off the lights.
The seat that originally belonged to "Pain" was completely plunged into darkness.
She turned around and left with a heavy heart, walking along the corridor to the elevator entrance, but she met an unexpected person.
"Mr. Tobiru?"
This little old man with a pipe in his mouth and a stooped figure was also one of the "consultants" invited by Kyojuro from outside.
It is said that Mr. Tobiru worked as a ninja for a while, but fortunately his job was a clerical job, so he lived to be over sixty years, which is three to four times the average life expectancy of the population of the Rain Country.
"Why are you still here? "
Just looking at his appearance, it's really hard to imagine that such an old smoker has ever managed a city or village.
However, even someone as unconventional as Jiraiya can become a "Konoha Sannin", and Konan unconditionally trusts Kyojuro, so even if she has doubts, she has always treated the old man with courtesy.
And the old man does have some real abilities.
He either doesn't speak during every meeting, but once he speaks, he will definitely give a very sophisticated solution. He is not the kind of person who only asks questions.
Konan has a vague feeling that just "more than one year of management experience" may not be enough to summarize the entire experience of this little old man.
"Well, I'm ashamed to say it..."
The old man coughed twice, “Those guys thought I smelled too much of cigarette smoke and were unwilling to join me.”
"Besides, I'm also afraid that those people will do something on the elevator and break my old bones, so I just wait here for the next one."
"That's it." Konan originally wanted to turn into a piece of paper and fly back to the office, but leaving the invited guest here alone would undoubtedly be a bit impolite, "Then I'll go with you."
“Haha, if you don't care about the old man smells like cigarette smoke."
So, the two of them waited at the elevator entrance.
Since the elevator itself is built outside the wall of the building, and this is the highest point in the entire Amegakure Village, even if they don't talk, the two of them will not feel bored just looking at the scenery.
But the old man is always moved by the scene, and can't help but talk about the past.
"Speaking of which, my teacher brought me here many years ago. At that time, Hanzo had just established this village, and the scale was less than one-tenth of what it is today."
"Have you ever seen Sanshouo no Hanzo?"
It was somewhat unexpected for konan.
"Yes, even though Hanzo is only a few years older than me, he can be considered a member of my teacher's generation. The five major ninja villages were established not long ago, and Sanshouo no Hanzo was the first among all the leaders of small countries to be willing to imitate the ninja village system. So my teacher made a special trip to see him."
The old man squinted his eyes and took two puffs from his cigarette holder. "However, he had great ambitions. Hanzo wants to do more than just imitate, he also wants to go one step further like you and completely get rid of the name Daimyo.”
"The Daimyo of Rain Country at that time was from an old ninja clan, so he was unwilling to accept a new thing like the ninja village system... My teacher considered that in this matter, The interests of the hanzo and the Fire Country are the same, so it was recommended that the Daimyo of the Country of Fire will keep the Daimyo of the Country of Rain by his side half forcefully. "
The elevator arrived, and the two of them stepped in one after another. The old man continued: "But have you ever thought about it? Now that you have replaced Hanzo and want to build a country that is not ninja-oriented, aren't you standing on the opposite side of the five major countries again?”
"What's more, according to your philosophy, this land at the junction of the three countries is absolutely prohibited from becoming a battlefield for the big powers again... This alone has seriously damaged the interests of the big powers. It is inevitable that the Kingdom of Rain will become the target of public criticism. "
Now The Daimyo of the Rain Country is still in the hands of the Fire Country, and the idea that the Daimyo himself is the ruler of the country is deeply rooted in the hearts of most people in the world.
"Back then, they detained your daimyo because of inconsistent interests, and now they can push him to the forefront for the same reason and use it as a weight against you. As long as he opens his mouth, you will be labeled as a traitor to the Kingdom of Rain. Then the Kingdom of Rain will never have peace..."
"He is a prisoner..."
Konan was a little disapproving, "What use can it be?"
"Your country has been away from the daimyo for too long, so you don't have this concept at all.”
"The importance of the daimyo. It's not about who he is, but that the word daimyo itself represents the legitimacy of the ruling power. With this legitimacy, he can do whatever he wants in this country. "
The old man explained in a faint tone: "So I suggest that you either use all means to make the Daimyo of the Country of Rain recognize in public that you have the legal right to govern this country. This is also to make him admit that he is informed about everything that is happening in the Country of Rain.”
"Or, find a way to steal him secretly from the Country of Fire and hold him in your own hands. You can treat him however you want, but you can't let him become the mouthpiece of a big country against you."
"Public approval?" Konan silently pondered two ways, "Steal it from the Land of Fire?"
Which of these two ways is easier?
Konan remained silent for the second half of the time in the elevator, but couldn't think of a way to achieve either of the two.
Apart from anything else, it was difficult for her to even meet the Daimyo of the Land of Rain. How could those guardian ninjas let her meet him so easily?
Let's not think about seeing and kidnapping the Daimyo of the Country of Rain, but instead think about not being Misunderstood as an assassin to assassinate the Daimyo of the Country of Fire.
"Actually, it's not difficult to think about it differently. It's not difficult to meet daimyo."
After getting off the elevator, Mr. Tobiru suggested: "The Chunin Examination will be coming soon, and the daimyo from all participating countries will be present. By then, as the leading ninja, Isn't it a matter of course to have a private conversation with your own Daimyo?"
”But we and the Earth Country are considered enemies, and we have been fighting over several minerals for several years."
Konan frowned, "Onoki did not invite us, so we have no reason to attend."
"Look, you forgot what I just said."
The old man waved his hand, "The right to declare war is a prerogative of the 'ruler'. The daimyo didn't say anything about your two countries. It's an enemy country. What kind of enemy country do you think it is? As long as he asks you to take the chunin exam as a daimyo, of course you can go."
Konan suddenly understood, but a new problem appeared again: "But we can't contact him, and how on earth can we get the daimyo to give us 'orders'?"
"This is the best thing to do, and of course, it is also the last thing you bother to do.”
"There are several young nobles from the Fire Country who are very close to the daimyo from the Rain Country."
The old man has indeed thought of a countermeasure, "You should bribe them in the name of Sanshouo no Hanzo, saying that there are several outstanding young ninjas appearing in the Land of Rain this year, and they are very likely to win the Chunin Exam. Naturally, it will reach the ears of the Daimyo of the Land of Rain.”
"As far as I know, your current daimyo is a half-year-old child who has suffered from low self-esteem for a long time. He has been criticized and despised by all kinds of things since he was a child. Now that he finally has a chance to feel proud, he will not let it go easily."
The elevator has arrived. The two came to the streets of Amegakure Village.
Although this was not the first time that she got a solution to a problem from this old man, Konan couldn't help but admire him: "You are really secretive. If I hadn't promised Kyojuro not to delve into your past, I would have tried to find out what kind of person you were in the past and why you came here..."
The old man seemed to be choked and coughed a few times: "There is nothing to explore. To the people in my hometown, I am just a sinner with no security and no place to stay..."
After that, he waved his cigarette rod at Konan in farewell and walked slowly away along the street.
"Think carefully about what I said before. If necessary, it's okay to tell that little girl who knows wood release."
[So, is he waiting for me on purpose today? ]
Konan watched the old man disappear at the corner of the street, and then she turned into thousands of palm-sized pieces of white paper, passed over the tall buildings, and returned to her office through the top-floor window of the Government Affairs Building.
But she had just landed and took shape when she heard the noise of people in the public office area outside the office, and there were cheers from time to time.
"What's going on?"
Konan opened the door in confusion, only to find that there was no one on the desk outside, and the door to the rest area was surrounded by people.
"It's so awesome! One more!"
"Shin, that Super Beast Imitating Drawing of yours can be regarded as a secret technique. Demonstrate it to him."
"Don't do it! It wouldn't be good if he really learns it. Well..."
"What's wrong? The more people who know that kind of ninjutsu, the easier it will be for us..."
"That's right."
[Who are they talking about? Is there anyone new coming? ]
Konan was a little curious, and silently came behind the subordinates with her body floating off the ground, and finally saw the little animal being watched in the rest area.
But once I saw it, I couldn't take my eyes away anymore.
[What a beautiful child. ]
This is everyone’s first impression.
[What clear eyes. ]
Konan stared at the expressionless young man sitting on the sofa, feeling warm in his heart for no reason.
When she glanced at the end of the other person's blue hair, which was the same color as hers, the blood all over her body seemed to become smoother, and her body seemed to be wrapped in clouds. She was obviously helpless, but she felt comfortable.
[This feeling...]
It's as if the loneliness I felt when I thought of Nagato not long ago has been completely driven away from my body!
Suddenly, two crystal tears rolled in her eyes.
Konan was shocked, and quickly shaved the corners of her eyes with her little finger, constantly asking herself: "What's going on?" ]
[Am I under some illusion? ]
[Who is that child? ]
And it seemed as if something was happening.
The face-paralyzed boy, who was surrounded by the crowd and stars holding the moon in the middle, turned his head. The moment he saw Konan, his eyes and lips instantly curved into three crescents, directly touching the softest place deep in Konan's heart.
"Eh?????!"
"He smiled!"
"He actually laughed!"
"Isn't it too cute?!"
All the civil servants in the Government Affairs Department instantly turned into a group of weird uncles and aunties. Not only did they yell and scream, but some of them actually wanted to extend their hands to touch that kid's head!
At this time, a muscular arm reached out in time and slapped all the dirty hands back with a single sweep.
"Are you guys making a mistake?"
Shinazugawa Genya, who is twelve years old but 1.8 meters tall, stood up, and the crowd of onlookers retreated as if they were avoiding demons.
"The two of us are here to do business, not to be your mascots and perform acrobatics!"
He rushed upward with his fist, and the blood vessels on his dark biceps pulsed. "Whoever comes here to cause trouble without good reason, I will crush his bones into pieces, do you understand?"
No one said anything. Because they believe that Shinazugawa Genya can really do it.
Shinazugawa Genya stared at those narrow eyes, scanning everyone's face like a searchlight, and finally stopped at Konan, who had an extremely complicated expression.
"Miss Konan?" He asked in confusion.
[What kind of fun does she see? ]
Everyone suddenly heard the sound and looked back, "Lord Konan (Angel)" one after another.
Faced with the situation of being watched by everyone, Konan forcibly suppressed her previous expression and nodded slowly as always: "If you don't work, why are you here?"
Everyone lowered their heads in shame. This isn't lunch break after all.
Fortunately, one of Konan's disciples, Ajisai, was among these people. She didn't have so many scruples, and came to Konan excitedly and said, "Teacher, this little brother came to the office half an hour ago. Because he is so cute, we just played with him..."
Konan glanced at the long-haired boy with concern, and seeing that he didn't seem to care about being called "cute", he didn't interrupt Ajisai's narration.
After rambling for two hundred words, Ajisai finally got to the point.
"... Seeing that he remained silent, Haku thought he was thirsty, so he made him a cold drink on the spot. But unexpectedly…”
Ajisai picked up a tea cup from the coffee table in the lounge, and the ice cubes in it were radiating a cold air, "He actually imitated Haku and did the same thing immediately!”
Konan was slightly surprised: "Is there such a thing?"
"Yes, he didn't even make a seal. " Another person added: "After we heard about it, we all thought it was incredible and wanted to witness it in person, so we all gathered around."
”Unexpectedly, not only Haku's ice release, but also every time we teach him a new ninjutsu, he only needs to watch it once or twice, and he can immediately reproduce it."
”Even my secret technique can be copied by him..."
"And it's more powerful and more precise..."
This made Konan very speechless.
Forget about ordinary ninjutsu, Isn't the reason why secret arts are called secret arts because they need to be kept secret?
Some people would actually ask others to learn their own secret skills just to watch the fun... She has lived for a long time, But She has never witnessed this. What the hell is wrong with them?
Although this sounds a bit unbelievable, but so many people say so it must be true, then this child is probably the same as Kyojuro and others, with some special features, otherwise it would not be Shinazugawa Genya who brought him over here.
"Okay, I've seen enough excitement, let's all disperse."
After figuring out the cause and effect, Konan gave the order with a cold face, and everyone had to leave reluctantly, not forgetting to wave goodbye to the long-haired boy.
But the child's eyes were always on Konan, and he was highly concentrated on her and ignored the others goodbye.
After most people left, only four people, Konan, Ajisai, Shinazugawa Genya and the long-haired boy were left in the lounge.
"..."
Konan came to the long-haired boy with some anxiety and squatted down. The other party also looked at her very generously, with a clear gaze that could be seen to the end, like a clear sky.
After a few seconds of silence, she asked: "What should I call you?"
”It's not "what's your name" or "what's your name", but "how should I call you" - it seems a bit too polite.
Konan herself doesn't know why, she just doesn't want to leave any discomfort for this child.
Ajisai reminded in a low voice: "Teacher, this child doesn't seem to like talking..."
"Tokito Muichiro, You can just call me Muichiro." This is the second time Tokito Muichiro spoke after entering the room.
The first time was when Haku showed him Ice Release, he said "I understand".
"!!!!! " Ajisai covered her mouth in surprise, "He actually said so many words to the teacher in one breath! Obviously he didn't even tell us his name before! "
Shinazugawa Genya covered his face. He was a little worried that Muichiro's strange temper towards strangers would affect their cooperative relationship with Konan.
But he didn't expect that this guy would be so smart.
However, he was relieved.
Muichiro turned to look at Ajisai and said slowly: "I didn't tell you because when I think that you will call my name in that high-pitched voice before, I feel creepy and uncomfortable. "
”Why are you talking like Brother Giyu..."
Ajisai just felt that the other party's way of speaking was somewhat familiar, but immediately realized that there seemed to be some differences between the two, but she couldn't tell what the differences were.
"Next time. Think carefully before you speak, don't just half-speak. "
Muichiro ended his communication with Ajisai and turned back to look at Konan. His expression immediately relaxed a lot, at least he looked very happy.
Konan found it incredible. They have never seen each other before, but they seemed to have a natural connection between them.
Next to him, Shinazugawa Genya saw the expressions of the older and younger ones that were all too familiar.
The first time he saw Kaguya Kimimaro, he was even more excited than when he reunited with his eldest brother Shinazugawa Saneya in the underworld.
That's the body's involuntary blood response. After all, from a genetic level, he and Kimimaro are as similar as identical twins.
He had never met him before, but sometimes he could tell what Kimimaro was thinking at a glance.
Tokito Muichiro was resurrected by Giyu using Konan's hair. It is normal to have such a reaction when meeting her for the first time, and he will get used to it after getting along with her for a while.
"They say that no matter what ninjutsu you see, you can learn it once you see it..."
Konan glanced at the cup filled with ice cubes on the coffee table, "Is it true?"
"No."
Tokito Muichiro denied.
Konan was just slightly stunned, but Ajisai was anxious: "But you just clearly could repeat Haku's ice release..."
”That's just the result you got when you didn't observe enough."
Muichiro said seriously: "I was born with the three chakra attributes of water, earth, and wind. Only the ninjutsu, secret techniques, and bloodline limits based on these three and the changes in yin and yang are which I can learn immediately. "
“As for the two attributes of fire and thunder, I haven't currently seen the particularly powerful Thunder Release and Fire Release Ninjutsu yet, so I have no plans to develop them.”
"So, next time you make a judgment, you should observe longer, so that you won't come to such an outrageous conclusion."
"You..."
Ajisai has turned red and warm.
"Please calm down..." Who would have thought that it was Shinazugawa Genya who said this. "And Muichiro, please don't say a few words."
He felt as if he was back when Hashira was training.
Muichiro is almost a polar opposite when it comes to dealing with people he likes and strangers, he is sometimes more likely to cause misunderstandings than Giyu.
On the other side, Konan looked a little stunned, as if he had heard something incredible:
"You said that you were born with the three attributes of water, earth, and wind?"
Muichiro glanced at Shinazugawa Genya and nodded.
[How could such a coincidence happen again...]
[Hair color...]
[That indescribable feeling. ]
[There are also three types of innate chakra attributes, which are exactly the same...]
There are more and more thoughts in Konan's mind, and it becomes more and more incredible, [Didn't my parents die in the war back then? ]
She looked intently at Muichiro's eyes and nose, and suddenly thought of a saying that was widely circulated among orphans - Kocho Shinobu was Orochimaru's artificial human modeled on the cells of the first Hokage.
She had never believed such nonsense before.
But...
The first time she met Giyu, Giyu asked her for her hair.
When she first met Kyojuro, Kyojuro also asked her for her hair.
When she first met Kocho Shinobu, Kocho Shinobu also asked her for her hair.
[Is this really possible? ]
[Miss Shinobu 'inherited' almost all of Orochimaru's property, could it be...]
Unknowingly, Konan became one of the people closest to the truth in the world, but her thoughts were not so firm.
"Muichiro..."
Konan took a deep breath, stretched out her hand, and there was a square piece of paper lying in her hand, "Can you do this like me?"
After saying that, She didn't take the initiative to touch the square piece of paper, it folded itself up and turned into a little frog.
After she finished all this, she stared at Tokito Muichiro with sharp eyes and handed over a piece of paper of the same size.
Muichiro didn't take it.
He thought for a moment, rolled up his sleeves that were too long, and a larger piece of paper peeled off his arm like skin.
"You really did it?!"
Ajisai exclaimed.
She is Konan's apprentice, and she knows very well how difficult it is to learn the art of Paper.
After so many years, she has been able to create paper the size of playing cards out of thin air, and this is already the limit.
Konan didn't say anything. She quietly watched the white paper gradually deform.
Tokito Muichiro didn't follow the same example of folding a frog. As time went by, the shape of a bird became more and more obvious!
And at the moment when the head of the paper bird was completed, it suddenly "soared into the sky" as if it had a life of its own. Then it flew at a low altitude and snatched the frog from Konan's hand and flew out of the window.
As for the fate of the two "animals" after that, Muichiro didn't care.
He turned back and looked at Konan again, as if he wanted to hear her evaluation of the performance just now.
But Konan stared at him and asked a question full of countless emotions: "Who are you?"
Muichiro remained silent.
"Can't answer?"
Konan couldn't help but hold Tokito Muichiro's right hand, with an expression like a mother whose child has been stolen. "Still can't tell?"
Tokito Muichiro spoke.
He pointed at Shinazugawa Genya: "He just asked me to say less."
Shinazugawa Genya: "..."
Ajisai: "..."
Konan: "..."
This sudden awkward silence made the "initiator" Shinazugawa Genya feel so uncomfortable that he really wanted to chase the bird and frog and jump out of the window.
He glanced at the clock on the wall and shouted, "Miss Konan, Muichiro and I have a mission this time. We were surrounded by your subordinates for so long and a lot of time was wasted.”
"You know the temper of Shinobu-senpai. If we go back late, I will definitely be sent to the hospital again..."
”In that case..."
Konan looked at Tokito Muichiro deeply and stood up, "You guys are busy, and I happen to have some things to go out for. "
“That's perfect." Shinazugawa Genya patted Muichiro on the shoulder, "Let's go, we have to go to the Intelligence Department quickly to understand the location of this mission.”
"Ajisai, lead the way for them. "
"I know, teacher! "
After everyone left, Konan couldn't explain how she felt now.
She stood there for a while, and suddenly turned into countless pieces of paper and poured out of the window, all the way to the direction of the Rain Country Hospital.
A few minutes later, in an independent office of the Intelligence Division.
"I'm Tayuya, and the one over there who looks a little weak is Shin. There are two of us on duty here during the day. "
The person in charge of the office is a cheerful girl with orange-red hair. There is a flute hanging on her waist. Judging by her skin color, she should be a local.
"Both of us were rescued from the fire pit by Uchiha Giyu. Since you also got help from him, then you are our own, so relax. "
This girl doesn't seem to be very interested in Tokito Muichiro's "superpowers", but instead cares about her own work.
"Let's talk about our operating procedures first.”
"The two of us have different divisions of labor. I am responsible for collecting information for Kyojuro about people who are oppressed by nobles and officials in various places. Now half of the civil servants in this building were recruited by him and Karin from all over the world."
Tayuya patted the filing cabinet on the far right side of the room, "In addition, I also want to issue commissions to ninja villages in various countries to investigate and observe war orphans living outside. They are also the largest source of population in the Land of Rain. Shin, it's your turn."
Shin over there is the young ninja who encrypted and decrypted text for Shimura Danzo when Uchiha Mikoto made a big fuss at the root headquarters.
After the destruction of the Roots, in addition to the two ninjas from the Aburame clan, Giyu packed up all the orphans trained by the Roots and took them away, including Shin's younger brother Matsuri (later Sai).
In order to prevent the two brothers from being separated, Giyu took Shin, who was seriously ill, to the Land of Rain, but he was cured within a month after being given to Kocho Shinobu.
Later, in order to repay his kindness, Shin proposed to work for Giyu and came here.
"My working method is no different from Tayuyu's. I also remotely issue tasks to large and small ninja villages and even gold exchange houses to investigate missing persons around the world, and submit them to Giyu in order of priority according to the severity of the investigation results.”
He looked at Genya and Muichiro and smiled happily, "In the past, he was alone. Naturally, there would be cases with lower priority, that is, cases with fewer missing persons, that were too late to handle, so they were left alone. But now with the help of you two, I believe it will save Giyu a lot of time."
As he spoke, he made seals with his hands, and the ink on an encrypted scroll immediately rose into the air, and then jumped into the white paper on the table. It turned into neat words.
Just when he was about to quickly browse the content above, he raised his head and found that Tokito Muichiro was staring at him intently.
"You know it again?" Shin asked with a complicated expression.
Muichiro nodded: "Yes."
Transparent World is so useful.
It's just that Giyu has a very traditional "traditional view". He feels that since people call it a secret skill, they don't want to spread it to others, so there is no need to learn it.
But Muichiro had no such burden. He is a curious baby at heart and he is very interested in new things.
"Sure enough..."
Anyway, it was what Danzo taught. Shin decided not to be entangled anymore. He picked up the document paper full of words and glanced at it: "This is your first mission. Near the Valley of the End of the Country of Fire. Three villages, a total of five hunters have been lost in the past month."
He stretched out his hand and handed the document over to Shinazugawa Genya, who looked more like a manager.
"The number of people is very small, and hunters are inherently high-risk professions. They are unlikely to be kidnapped. They are more likely to be attacked by animals, and they are a low-priority type.”
"However, Konoha ninjas usually go out to clean up regularly. Regarding those extremely dangerous beasts in the wild, five people disappeared in just one month, which is still a bit suspicious, so I leave it to you. "
"Understood. "
Shinazugawa Genya put away the documents and was about to leave with Muichiro to pack his luggage on the way, when he heard a familiar and harsh voice coming from the public office area outside: "Team member Tokito Muichiro, team member Shinazugawa Genya! Team member Tokito Muichiro, team member Shinazugawa Genya! "
When the two heard this, they looked at each other in unison.
This was by no means the first time that En had sent a message to them in this world, but she had never used the word "team member". After all, there is no Demon Slayer Corps in this world.
Knowing that something was wrong, the two people quickly came to the hall and saw the crow En standing on the ceiling fan blades on the roof.
The rest of the staff were a little unbearable by the noise of the bird. At this time, they saw Both Muichiro and Genya were a little confused when it came to their reactions.
"Team member Tokito Muichiro! Team member Shinazugawa Genya! "
" After hearing the order, immediately put down all tasks in hand and rushed to Lord Shinobu's office!”
"There are more important urgent tasks that must be carried out immediately! “
