Uchiha Giyu chapter 147
🕑 Added 2024-03-12 04:46:11 +0000 UTCChapter 147 The best swordsmith in the ninja world
Giyu's tears slid down his cheeks, and he looked at the ceiling with empty eyes, as if there was a touching poem engraved on it.
But in fact, this is just a side effect of eye drops.
"It's normal to feel strong stimulation when using this thing for the first time."
Tsunade put a thumb-sized vial into Giyu's hand, with a smile on her face.
As the next Hokage, she was definitely not seeking revenge for what happened before. She carefully filled Giyu's potion with some special materials that were harmless or even beneficial and would only enhance a little discomfort.
The reason why she did this was because she was surprised to find that Giyu's eyes recovered much faster than she expected, so risky treatment for ordinary Uchiha was nothing to him.
"Remember, drop it three times a day, with an interval of no less than four hours between each time. With the protection of this drop, you don't need to wear the eyepatch anymore. Maybe in this way, the rumors in the village about How Terrible You Are can also be eliminated."
"Ok."
Giyu understood. He quickly overcame this discomfort and returned to his normal appearance through his micro-adjustment ability that penetrates the world.
"But, can't this be cured with medical ninjutsu?"
He was just asking normally, but to Tsunade's ears, it always felt different - [At this level, you dare to consider yourself the best doctor in the world? ]
"Don't be too greedy, kid.”
The number of optic nerves in Uchiha's clan is eight to ten times that of ordinary people. These extra parts are specially used to cooperate with the chakra points in the eyes to carry pupil power. In nature, pupil power is completely opposite to the yang chakra used in medical ninjutsu, so I cannot directly use ninjutsu to treat Uchiha's eye diseases like I do with ordinary patients. "
While flipping through Giyu's medical records, she walked slowly to the desk and sat down, not forgetting to raise her eyebrows and give him a glance.
"So, combined with the medicine and using what you call pupil power to slowly nourish, that's the best treatment. Of course, in normal times, it is better to avoid looking directly into bright light. "
"I see.” Giyu suddenly said, "Thank you."
"Speak as if you can understand everything."
Tsunade ignored Giyu's thanks. Instead, it was the records in Giyu's medical records that caught her attention. Until the sound of the door bolt being pulled open alerted her.
When Tsunade raised her eyes, she found that half of the kid's body was already outside the door.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
" I am Going get some pork chops while the market is open.” Giyu said matter-of-factly: "Do you have anything else? "
Although she was mentally prepared, Tsunade was still speechless for a while.
[ After all, I am also the Kage of a village.]
[Or does this kid really not take me seriously in his heart?]
She flirted with Giyu crossing her fingers, the latter did not hesitate, closed the door again and walked in. Following Tsunade's instructions, he sat on the opposite side of the desk.
"You act so quietly that even I didn't even notice it. You are very suitable for ANBU."
Tsunade put her elbow on the medical record and suggested in a lazy and seemingly casual manner: "Speaking of which, there is a good opportunity now."
"Because of what happened before, the available Anbu in the village can be counted with just one hand, so I have to leave everything to Shizune.”
"Although the operation is completed now, those people haven't fully recovered, I'm afraid they still need to Like a month or two. How about you being my direct bodyguard during this period of time? "
Worried that Giyu was too young and not sensitive enough, Tsunade knocked on the table again and emphasized: "Second Grand... When the Second Hokage was still there, the old man(Third Hokage), Shimura Danzo and the other two elders were all his bodyguards directly under his command.”
"When the old man was young, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and even the Fourth Hokage and I, all did similar work. Do you understand what I mean?"
[Shimura Danzo, Orochimaru...]
Giyu seemed to understand. What: "Being the direct guard of the Hokage is a job that dehumanizes people?"
"Don't look for trouble, kid!"
Tsunade bit her silver teeth and clenched her fists. She simply said directly: "What I mean is that the so-called direct guards of the Hokage are the method used by the Hokage to train his successors. Under the influence, the guards will soon accumulate experience in handling the affairs of the village."
“That's it." Giyu nodded: "I remember Hatake Kakashi is the direct bodyguard of the Hokage, but why did he choose you in the end? Is it because he always reads adult books in public places?"
[ Smelly old man and Jiraiya , one by one, the upper beam is not straight and the lower beam is crooked...]
"That's not the point."
Tsunade brought back the topic a little impatiently: "What I'm asking now is your opinion. Whether it's an old man or the Second Hokage who was reincarnated with Impure World Reincarnation Technique, seems to have a very high opinion of you. How about it, are you interested?"
Obviously, Tsunade already knew everything about that night.
"No." Giyu refused without thinking.
"I'm not surprised at all. I heard your mother say in the operating room that you seem to have criticized the ninja industry since you were a child."
Tsunade leaned back, narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at the opposite side: “It's just that Uchiha Giyu has such a pivotal power, but he has no interest in becoming a ninja or even a Hokage in Konoha. Can I ask, what do you want to do?"
“This has nothing to do with you." Giyu didn't want to say more, "As long as this village doesn't threaten my people, I won't do anything that threatens this village. It's enough for you to know this."
"Your idea is too simple. You are so powerful. At this level, even if you do nothing, you will continue to have an impact on the surroundings." Tsunade shook her head: "It won't be long before what happened before will eventually be spread, and all countries will know that there is a genius boy named Uchiha Giyu in Konoha.”
"Even if you are not a ninja of Konoha, what you do outside - such as what you did in Yugakure Village and the Kingdom of Water, will be considered as the instruction of Konoha. It was Konoha who deliberately broke the balance between countries, thereby arousing vigilance and hostility from other countries. From this point alone, you are already threatening Konoha.”
"Just like when Uchiha Madara left the village. At first, the First Hokage did not classify him as a traitor, so everything he did outside was blamed on Konoha, which made all countries fear Konoha. This has added a lot of hatred in vain. And this is one of the reasons why the Second Hokage has always had a tough attitude towards Uchiha.”
"Now, Uchiha and the village have just shown signs of reconciliation. It's time for both parties to build trust, but if your behavior outside causes other countries to misunderstand, and is considered to be Konoha's instruction, causing the village to suffer actual or reputational losses, this fragile trust will immediately collapse.”
After saying this, Tsunade let out a sigh of relief: "Now, do you understand what I mean?"
"Understood." Giyu nodded solemnly: "I will be careful to hide my identity when I act."
"It's not just your identity. Before long, all your information, including your demonic sword skills and... Water release abilities will be published in the ninja manuals of various countries."
Tsunade reminded: "If you must do something, never expose these unique features."
"Okay."
Giyu agreed happily. It's just less Water Release and Moon Breathing. Unless he is an opponent like Orochimaru and the Second Hokage, there is not much restriction for him.
Now that the Kocho Shinobu has been resurrected. Serpent Hashira, Iguro Obanai (Thunder Breath Constant) and Love Hashira, Kanroji Mitsuri (Sun Breath Introductory) will be resurrected together at the end. So what Giyu needs to train next is the Wind Breathing that can resurrect Tokito Muichiro and Stone Breathing that can resurrect Himejima Gyōmei.
"The reminder has been given. Let's talk about another thing now."
Tsunade paused: "The old man told me after he came back from the Uchiha clan, do you want the right to dispose of some of the ninjas? And what's more? All the records in Konoha about Orochimaru and Root's human experiments?"
"Yeah."
"I need a reason." Tsunade is already a little familiar with Giyu's character who speaks a little bit, "If it's the wealth that Root has accumulated over the years. There is no problem in paying Uchiha as compensation.”
"But these things you want are obviously not for Uchiha, and they also involve many secrets of the village, and they all have quite dark pasts."
At this point, Tsunade after a pause, She glanced pointedly at Giyu's neck.
"The old man told me that you wanted these to solve the problem of the curse seal.”
"But let's not talk about whether you can understand those research reports... But if that's the case, then all you need is Orochimaru's experimental report on curse seals.”
"In addition, this cannot explain your request for the power to dispose of the root ninja.”
"It's true that these people are all minions of Danzo, but as root ninjas, it is their bounden duty to obey all orders of Danzo. In the end, many faults cannot be found on them.”
"So, if you don't have enough reasons to convince me, There is no way I would just hand over my friends in the village to you. "
After saying that, she sat upright, waiting for Giyu to give a satisfactory response.
Giyu was silent.
The purpose of asking for the disposal rights of some root ninjas was to obtain the secret of insect control and help reduce the time of cultivating the crops of the Rain Country.
The purpose of requesting all the human experiment records of Orochimaru and the roots is to reverse Orochimaru's wood release and curse seal experiments, and to prepare for the future rescue of various "experimental subjects" in Orochimaru's base in other countries. But Giyu didn't plan to tell these things to Tsunade.
Kyojuro only said that Tsunade was a respectable doctor, but he never said that she was a person who could be completely trusted.
Considering the relationship between Uchiha and the village, Giyu couldn't just rob Them. He couldn't do such a thing.
But the more time it takes to get the experimental data, the more people in the Kingdom of Water might die in pain, so he absolutely couldn't give up.
"I don't trust you. "
After a long silence, Giyu's first words choked Tsunade so much, "I want to discuss it with Kyojuro. "
Let's discuss whether we can tell her the causes and consequences of these things.
The reason why there is only Kyojuro and no Kocho Shinobu is because Giyu knows very well that whether it is the tragedy of the Rain Country or the Water Country, to a large extent, it is Konoha's fault.
Based on her basic attitude towards the ninja community, distrust is only the most basic, and she might just use the most extreme means to rob them directly.
"Kyojuro?”
Tsunade was stunned for a while, "Rengoku Kyojuro? Where is he? What does he have to do with these things? "
This is a person who often appears in Tsunade's dreams and yells.
Whenever she recalls some unpleasant things and plans to drink to get drunk, the other person's deafening voice will suddenly come out from the bottom of her heart, sometimes even the voices of Nawaki and Kyojuro get overlapped.
One of the reasons why she agreed with the old man to come back this time was to see how the child was doing.
But after arriving in Konoha, Tsunade found out that Kyojuro had paid off the "medical fee" and left Konoha. She was also inexplicably forced to accept the responsibility of the Hokage.
Now that she suddenly heard about Kyojuro's whereabouts, Tsunade's face showed some uncontrollable excitement.
To be honest, she was originally worried that Giyu had tasted the power from the curse seal. Because of the sweetness, He planned to ask for these things to do something that violated taboos.
But when she heard that Rengoku Kyojuro was also involved, Tsunade immediately lost a lot of worries.
She had not seen him for so many years, but it was hard for her to believe that this There will be some dark things in the world that can be related to Rengoku Kyojuro.
"Kyojuro is still in the Kingdom of Water."
“That's it." Tsunade concealed her fleeting disappointment, "It seems we have to wait for some time.”
"I can't wait that long. We can go see him now. "
Before Tsunade had time to ask what "go over to see him" meant, Giyu had already pretended to bite his finger and made a seal, leaving a palm mark on Tsunade's desk.
"Bang——"
In Tsunade's surprised yet familiar gaze, a small slug as thick as an adult's arm suddenly appeared, holding a white porcelain plate with a silver rim in its mouth.
"Is it Giyu?" Katsuyu put down the plate, with a sweet and gentle voice, "I didn't expect you to summon me so soon. What's the matter?"
“I want to meet Kyojuro at your home."
Giyu stretched out his hand. The palm of his hand pointed behind the Katsuyu, "There's also this person, she should be able to get there too?"
Katsuyu turned its head, and after seeing that familiar face, it immediately turned the tentacles on its head in an exaggerated way: "It's actually Lady Tsunade, Lady Tsunade, it's been a long time."
As It spoke, Katsuyu tilted its upper body and said, "I hope You won't be so drunk this time that you will eat me as an appetizer dipped in salt."
“Ahem, cough, cough, then. It was more than ten years ago."
Tsunade coughed awkwardly, "I haven't seen you for a long time, Katsuyu. I didn't expect that you and this brat also signed a Summoning contract. You met him on the sea to the Kingdom of Water, Right?"
"That's right. In order to have more opportunities to go outside, I signed up with several people this time!"
Katsuyu's words sounded a little sinister, "When I met Giyu for the first time, he gave Manda to me as a gift. At that time, I felt that my decision this time was much wiser than before."
[Is Manda dead? ]
"It’s my mistake." Thinking of this Katsuyu's character, Tsunade said immediately, "I am the Hokage now. I will need your help with many things in the future, and I will often call you out."
“That's it, that's great!"
Katsuyu looked like it was easy to coax, shaking its body excitedly, and then turned to Giyu, "If there is no problem with Kyojuro, I will call you over immediately using the reverse Summoning technique. Just wait a moment."
After saying that, Katsuyu turned into a ball of smoke and disappeared again, leaving only Giyu and Tsunade staring at each other in the office.
Tsunade pointed to the dinner plate on the desk and asked with some confusion: "This is it?"
"It was filled with fried pork chops."
Tsunade was even more confused.
[ How? After not seeing each other for so many years, has Katsuyu begun to eat cooked food? ]
Her doubts did not last long.
About half a minute later, the two people waiting in the office suddenly disappeared.
Another half minute later. There was a knock on the door and Shizune's inquiry: "Tsunade-sama, the thing has been found."
After receiving no response for a long time, Shizune, who was very familiar with Tsunade, opened the door directly, only to find that there was no one in the room.
"Tsunade-sama?" She put the box in her hand on the spot and looked around, but she didn't see even a single figure.
"Where's the new Hokage? And where's Giyu? Why are they missing?"
Sasuke, who was following Shizune, poked his head in, "Could it be that she was too angry talking to Giyu and went out to find a place to duel?"
“You kid, You can't say bad things about others behind their back. Why would Hokage-sama care about a child?" Following Sasuke's quills, Mikoto also walked into the office and looked around, and the out-of-place plate immediately caught their eyes.
"This pattern," Sasuke picked up the plate and looked at it carefully. "Doesn't this plate look like the ones we used for dinner today? Why did Giyu bring this thing?"
"I don't know, but I know how they disappeared."
Mikoto stretched out her hand and touched the traces of Summoning skills remaining on the table, and she probably made a guess.
Coupled with her trust in her youngest son's strength and her respect for Tsunade, she was not too worried about Giyu's safety this time.
"Let's just wait here for a while. They should be back soon."
Mikoto said this and looked back at Shizune's suitcase on the ground.
The latter understood immediately, lifted the box to the desk and opened it, revealing the neatly arranged metal ingots inside.
"This is what you said before. The inventory of all the major ninja shops in Konoha should be in this box."
“What on earth is this?"
Various rays of light reflected on Sasuke's face, and he evoked his curiosity.
"Chakra metal, every piece is priceless."
Mikoto said this, and nodded towards Shizune: "I'm sorry for costing the village."
“Please don't say that, This is your reward for assisting Tsunade-sama in the surgery. Besides, this thing has been in the backlog for a long time and no one has bought it, so I bought it at a lower price."
Shizune smiled slightly and returned to the door, "There are still some trivial matters in the hospital that I need to deal with. Please excuse me and I will take my leave first. "
After saying that, Shizune closed the door of the dean's office, leaving only Mikoto and Sasuke, standing on both sides of the box.
"Mom, what do you want this thing for?"
"Hmm..." Uchiha Mikoto said after thinking for a long time: "Have you noticed Giyu's broken sword in the past two days?"
“I saw it.” Sasuke suddenly trembled, "I secretly pulled it out last night. I don't know why. It is obviously a broken weapon, but it made me feel uncomfortable. I got goosebumps on my entire body. I was almost discovered by Giyu."
Speaking of this, thinking of the words of the two Yugakure merchants he met on the day of welcoming the mission, Sasuke's face turned slightly pale: "That sword must have killed many people, so that's why It was broken..."
"With Giyu's character," Sasuke's pale face was not from fear, but from faint uneasiness, "it must be hard for him to kill so many people."
Is Giyu uncomfortable, Mikoto can only rely on Judging from the character shown by the youngest son.
But when she thought of the scene where Giyu used blood as a sword when they reunited, her heart ached with pain.
Mikoto smiled reluctantly and suggested: "Sasuke, while he is away, how about we prepare a surprise for Giyu to make him happy?"
"Mom, you mean to make him a Sword made of chakra metal?"
Sasuke's eyes lit up at first, and he was obviously very interested, but immediately, he snorted dissatisfied: "Are they only for Giyu? That's too unfair. With so many iron blocks, it should be enough to make five or six more. Is there no problem?"
"Of course I won't let you go, but not today."
Mikoto pulled Sasuke into her arms, not just to comfort her, but because she didn't want the child to see the unhideable look in her eyes. Reluctant to give up.
"You will stay with your parents for several more years, and it won't be too late to give you another one when the time comes."
Sasuke immediately sensed something was wrong in her words: "Do you mean that Giyu will leave us like before? "
He struggled to turn around, but failed, so he had to say angrily: "But Orochimaru is dead, and he has avenged brother Itachi. Giyu has no reason to go out and take risks anymore, right?"
[This child also thinks that Giyu went to the Water Country just because of Itachi?]
Mikoto said with a sigh while twirling Sasuke's hair with her fingers: "Giyu's future will not be limited to a small Konoha.”
"With such power, he is destined to achieve many great things. Many things that can change the world.”
"If he always has to take our feelings into consideration, it will only double his self-blame, and he will not be able to really focus on what he wants to do. So Sasuke…”
"Sasuke promise me that you will never tell Giyu how worried we will be when he leaves home, Something like that. Okay? "
Sasuke hesitated for a long time, and finally nodded reluctantly.
"But..."
Mikoto pulled Sasuke over and smiled: "In order to reduce our worries, we will have to work hard to make an Unbreakable weapon.”
"Unbreakable weapon? " Sasuke didn't believe it: "But my brother has said that there is no such weapon in the world except the legendary Kusanagi sword. Moreover, the craftsmanship of the Kusanagi Sword must have been lost long ago.”
"Just because skilled craftsmen can't make it, doesn't mean mom can't do it. "
As Mikoto raised her palm, the metal ingots floated in the air, twisting and twisting like balls of plasticine, as if they had no hardness at all.
"Maybe one day in the future, everyone in the ninja world who uses swords will be proud to own a sword made by me."
