Uchiha Giyu chapter 131
🕑 Added 2024-02-25 04:42:04 +0000 UTCChapter 131 Assassination
Imagine a basketball.
Where the stitches on one end of the basketball meet, there is a gray cactus; where the stitches on the other end meet, there are three gray cactus distributed in a fan shape; then, cover the ball with a pot, below the pot, close to the cactus Two human arms are filled in the space, but these two arms are like lobsters, covered with dark gray exoskeletons.
This is what the three-tailed Isobu looks like, a hybrid that resembles a turtle and a lobster. Its hard body is covered with barbs. It has the cold personality of a cold-blooded animal and the fierce appearance of an arthropod.
In terms of appearance alone, the three-tailed beast definitely looks the most ferocious among the nine tailed beasts. It doesn't look like a submissive species like a turtle at all. But among the nine tails, although the three tails do not have the least chakra, it is the weakest among all the tailed beasts.
As for the reason, it's very simple...
"In order to fight against the human seal, that Tanuki (one tail) even learned their ninjutsu, which has already surpassed you by an unknown amount! Not to mention the rhinoceros(Seven-Tails) and the guy who sticks to the lake(maybe Eight-Tails), they used to fight with That slug (Six-Tails) outside practicing together!"
In the sea in Giyu's spiritual space, the little Kyuubi who was blocked by Kyojuro with a Adamantine Sealing Chain and brought in with the three tails loudly criticized: "Only you, from birth to now, except for sleeping All you do nothing, and You haven’t made any progress at all! Even your body has shrunk by a third, and it has become so small that it doesn’t look as majestic as Orochimaru’s Summoning beast...”
In short, it’s really too much for the tailed beast to lose this much chakra.
"Even if you say so..."
After shrinking, half of Three tails's body, which was still three or four stories high, was submerged in the gray sea water. Its light red circled eyes were full of fatigue, "Back then, Senju Hashirama captured us, I didn't see you being of any use."
"You!" Kyuubi was stabbed in a sore spot, and immediately thought of the kid outside with the Wood Release Chakra and an irritating smile, and couldn't help but feel sorry for itself. It felt worried about the future, and at the same time, it deepened its thoughts on establishing a good relationship with Kyojuro.
The future can only belong to the Uchiha in front of him and the other two brats with weird origins. This is why the Kyuubi, the most resistant to humans, is willing to let Giyu become the three-tailed jinchuriki.
After listening to the conversation, Giyu turned his doubtful head subtly and stared at Kyuubi.
After all, in Kyuubi's mouth before, it was defeated by the First Hokage, and it seemed to be just a slight loss...
"Huh! It's really suitable for you to stay in the body of this ugly brat!"
Kyuubi snorted, "Let’s see, which one of you can piss off the other first!”
After saying that, it jumped directly from Three-Tails’ head into the sea - Nine-Tails had never seen such a large mental space, and it was happy to hide away.
Katsuya's reverse-summoning technique can only take away Giyu alone. If it wants to go back and bring the memory to its original body, it can only stay in Giyu's body and take a ride.
After the Nine-Tails left, only two lives were left on the sea: Giyu and the giant Three-Tails.
"I originally thought that this place would be the same small, cramped and dark place as in Yagura's body."
Three tails said slowly, "But I didn't expect that this place is so big and full of sea water. It's very suitable for me."
It is not flattering Giyu. This was a complete surprise. Although the color of the sea water is relatively monotonous, it is boundless and is very friendly to the three-tailed animals in terms of their living habits and body shape.
"Thank you for lending me chakra, which allowed me to recover so quickly from my injuries."
Giyu said calmly and calmly: "However, this seal is not much different from nothing. I trust Kyojuro, and that's why I let you live in it. I hope you won’t do anything strange.”
At first, after hearing Kyuubi’s idea, Giyu resisted.
Whether it's the Moon Breathing or the Sharingan, they all had a certain impact on his behavior and personality.
Giyu listened to Kocho Shinobu's words and decided to slowly adapt to them, but his wariness against them did not decrease.
As a result, before a day had passed, Kyuubi planned to put a tailed beast with independent consciousness into his body?
Giyu, who had witnessed Tanjiro being possessed by Kibutsuji Muzan's cells, couldn't help but express his resistance.
According to the information he and Kyojuro collected about the tailed beasts over the years, every time a Jinchūriki went berserk, it would cause great damage. What's more, Giyu doesn't want to be a living prison containing intelligent creatures.
But in the end Kyojuro and Kyuubi convinced him.
First, using a sufficient amount of Tailed Beast Chakra to recover from his injuries is the best way for Giyu to get home as soon as possible.
Second, Kyojuro believed that Kyuubi would not lie to him - with the stupid, lazy and PTSD-afflicted character of the three tails, he would not cause any damage to Giyu's body.
Three tails is lethargic, does not like activities, and has very low requirements for freedom. On the contrary, it really hopes to have a place to live to escape the fate of being killed or controlled by people for the past ten years. A three-tomoe Uchiha that can resist genjutsu is simply its best choice. What most important is that the situation, where the tailed beast and the Jinchuriki fight for control of the body and lead to a rampage, will never happen to Giyu.
Third, even if the Three-Tails and Giyu don't get along, since it is far inferior to the Kyuubi's in chakra volume and ability, it is not difficult for Giyu to subdue him.
From a utilitarian point of view, the benefits of Giyu becoming the Three-Tails Jinchuriki far outweigh the disadvantages.
As for the freedom of the three tails - for tailed beasts that have lived for thousands of years, the lifespan of a ninja is about as long as that of an insect.
It can wait until Giyu is about to die of old age and then come out, so there is no need to consider that taking away the tailed beast will lead to the death of the Jinchuriki.
After both parties agreed, Kyojuro immediately acted. However, his Adamantine Sealing Chains was equivalent to just pulling Three tails into a room, but not locking the door.
After all, the Third Hokage did not teach him the authentic sealing technique of the Uzumaki clan.
So in a way, Giyu is probably the most defenseless Jinchūriki ever.
However, in order to cover up the unique aura of the tailed beast, Kyojuro learned a slightly simpler sealing technique from Miss Seoko from the Land of Rain. The effect was almost like installing a thick curtain on the wide open door. ——It’s enough that people can’t see what’s inside.
Now, a few hours have passed, and Giyu's injuries are mostly healed, and the night is also suitable for him to use the Moon Breathing: First Form to rush on the road.
But before leaving, he felt that he still needed to clarify the things with Three tails, just in case.
"Seeing you leaving in such a hurry, I felt something was wrong. For hashira, the difference between not affecting movement and recovery is huge."
The corner of Kocho Shinobu's mouth revealed a Conan-esque expression. "You're not forcing yourself again, are you?"
"Are you afraid that it's chakra will have any impact on your behavior?"
The three-tailed hard head covered with thorns shook, "Jinchūriki's specific emotions, such as anger and despair, often cause the tailed beast's chakra to Resonance, this is something that happens naturally, and it is not up to me. But in my opinion, you are a relatively emotionally stable person just like Yagura, and you should not have similar troubles."
"That would be the best." Giyu nodded, feeling a lot less worried in his heart.
"Then for the rest of the time," Three tails stretched out its gray fist and raised it high in front of Giyu, "let's get along well."
Giyu didn't know why.
[Getting along well, but extending your fist, this means...]
Giyu suddenly remembered the way he met Uchiha Gan, Wen, and Cui.
[Could it be that you want to fight with me first to see if I am qualified? ]
The three-tailed beast is a tailed beast that is very sensitive to danger. When It felt something was wrong, It immediately said: "Fist bumping is a courtesy between the tailed beast and the jinchuriki. It can exchange each other's current thoughts and mutual trust."
" That's it."
Giyu suddenly realized, he stretched out his hand, and the gray seawater formed a fist as big as the three tails, and touched it.
"..." Three tails was a little speechless, but Giyu's thoughts were still passed on, and his thoughts were also passed on.
Although it was his first time to experience this special method of communication, when Giyu sensed that the three-tails were indeed not hostile, he immediately did not resist him like he had resisted the nine-tails at first.
"If you want to go out, please tell me and I will use your chakra to create a clone, just like Kyuubi."
Giyu added.
"Okay." Seeing that Giyu was about to leave, Three tails reminded him again, "There is something I forgot to tell you... my chakra will naturally leak out after it recovers, and it may have some additional effects on you. The impact will only be slight."
Giyu asked: "What impact?"
"Sometimes, you may become sleepy easily."
Giyu opened his eyes and returned to reality.
[ It's time to go home. ]
Kyojuro must have gone to several other bases of Orochimaru, so Giyu planned to leave here after saying goodbye to Kocho Shinobu.
After turning left and right in the base for a while, Giyu finally found Haku and Ranmaru in the "fighting arena" where Orochimaru had the prisoners fight against each other.
After cleaning this bloody place, Kocho Shinobu had transformed it into a centralized ward.
More than a dozen "experimental subjects" in various states were lying on the hospital bed. Some could only rely on ventilators to maintain life, while others were extremely energetic, with wild eyes and drooling. They were tightly tied to a separate bed with canes. In the quarantine area, no one is normal.
When Giyu came over, Haku and Ranmaru were wearing tailored white uniforms, busy going back and forth around the hospital bed.
Apparently, the two of them were the first batch of nurses under Kocho Shinobu.
"Giyu! Finally I got to see you!"
Ranmaru was the first person to notice Giyu and immediately went to greet him.
"I didn't see you in the morning, so I thought you were sick."
Giyu nodded in response, "Your legs look normal."
"Sorry." Ranmaru lowered his head apologetically, "Actually, I wanted to see you in the morning, but at that time, Miss Shinobu hadn’t finished examining me yet, so I kept lying in the machine and fell asleep without knowing it..."
Giyu glanced around, "Is it Shinobu... Is it Shinobu who asked you to help here? Because of your ability?"
It was the first time he directly called Kocho Shinobu by his name, and Giyu was still not used to it.
"Yes, Yakushi Kabuto said that my illness started almost from the time I was born. The burden of using red eyes is very small, but it has little impact on the condition." Ranmaru explained, " Because I can see through the inside of the human body, The lady asked me and Haku to pay attention to the patient's condition. Although I was a little embarrassed at the beginning, at the end of the day, it seems that I am quite good at doing this..."
“It's good if it doesn't feel boring." Giyu encouraged in his own way. road.
"Where did she go? I have something I want to tell her."
Kyuubi was not with him, so it would be more troublesome to find someone.
"This..." Ranmaru looked hesitant, as if he didn't know how to speak.
"Two children were fighting, so Miss Shinobu went to deal with it." Haku came over and answered Giyu's doubts.
"Fighting." Giyu lowered his eyebrows, "No one was hurt, right?"
"No injuries, but only one step away from death."
Haku shook his head, "These children with special bloodline limits have unstable personalities, and they just have a powerful power that is still too dangerous for the people around them. I think it is not a good idea for ordinary people to get too close to them..."
“As long as Kyojuro is here, it will be fine."
Giyu saw it with his own eyes. How did the Uchiha clan boys become kind to others, so he had this confidence.
While the two were talking, Kocho Shinobu came over from the entrance, her smile still the same, but Giyu could tell from some subtle expressions that she was not feeling happy at all now.
"Are your injuries healed?"
"The bones of the arms and thighs no longer affect movement."
Giyu nodded, "But the eye can only recover slowly."
Then, he immediately said: "I'm here to say goodbye to you."
"It will take several hours to fully recover."
Giyu explained, "It's already dark, it's time to set off."
"..."
Kocho Shinobu sighed deeply, and then looked towards Haku and handed him a scroll, "This is Momochi Zabuza's reply. You and Ranmaru go find a place to rest for a while. The three of us may have to take turns on the night shift tonight."
"I know!"
A look of undeniable surprise appeared on Haku's face. After receiving the letter, he immediately left with Ranmaru.
Giyu looked at Kocho Shinobu, with an obvious questioning look in his Sharingan eyes.
"En collected information when she went to deliver the letter. They seemed to only know that Orochimaru killed the Fourth Mizukage, but not many people knew that you killed Orochimaru. It should be because Momochi Zabuza deliberately concealed it. "
Kocho Shinobu slowly massaged the center of her eyebrows, recalling the news she had just received, "The election of the Mizukage has ended. It seems that the elder brother of Hozuki Suigetsu - a ninja named Hozuki Mangetsu, and a female ninja named Terumi Mei received the same number of votes.”
"According to Kirigakure's rules, they will each rule as acting Mizukage for two years, and then the best will be chosen to become the official Mizukage. The current acting Mizukage has his turn first, but the person who can really make the decision is an elder named Genji. He still doesn't know about their respective personalities and tendencies, and he needs to find out slowly..."
There are some things, such as Kirigakure's reaction to her killing those ninjas, Kocho Shinobu did not tell Giyu.
After all, Giyu himself has something important to deal with, there is no need to distract him with another thing.
"Momochi Zabuza, who knew that you killed Orochimaru, seems to be planning to come here personally for Haku. This is something I didn't thought-of before. "
Kocho Shinobu looked at the direction in which Haku and Ranmaru disappeared, "I really can't bear to leave this child. He is as gentle as my sister, and he is the first good person I met when I came to this world. "
“Speaking of children," Giyu pointedly looked in the direction of the square, "I heard that someone almost died."
"Yes, they are obviously only seven-year-old children. But the gap between the two is larger than that between humans and lions. "
Kocho Shinobu thought seriously, "This is probably the reason why ninjas distinguish themselves from ordinary people and think that they are another species, so they are superior. The differences between individuals are too obvious. It is no wonder that the ninjas of the Kingdom of Water can do whatever they want. As long as this gap continues to exist, ordinary people will really be just fish to be slaughtered. For them, the so-called self-protection is not much different from dreaming.”
"What are you going to do? " Giyu knew that Kocho Shinobu must have had some thoughts when she said this.
Kocho Shinobu sat on a chair next to the hospital bed and was silent for a while before saying: "Do you still remember that not long before I died, the war that started in the West, But the war that swept half the world, why did it start? "
Giyu doesn't know much about foreign affairs, but has only heard a little bit about it.
"I remember that a prince from a European country was assassinated. "
"He is Archduke Ferdinand of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the heir to the throne."
Kocho Shinobu raised a finger, with a glint in her eyes, "And the assassin was just a nobody before he killed him. "
[Does this have anything to do with the issue we are discussing?]
Before Giyu had time to express his doubts, Kocho Shinobu clapped her fingers and said: "And before that, the big shot who was killed was also Neon's Meiji. Generations of veteran Yin Teng Hiroben, three to four American presidents (as of 1915) including Lincoln, Louis XVI and his queen, and a large number of British kings named James…” Kocho Shinobu paused for a moment, "Excluding Regardless of the nature of these events, at least in our world, even the humblest little people, as long as they seize the opportunity, can retaliate and kill the most powerful people in the world, and even overthrow their rule. "
“This is why, in our world, the ruling class has some concerns when making decisions, and understands not to push people to death but to give them a glimmer of hope. "
"You mean..."
"To completely solve the world's problems, we must narrow the gap between 'ordinary people' and 'ninjas'. "
Kocho Shinobu stood up and lingered on the spot, "Extracting chakra is very difficult. Not everyone can do it, but with the physique of humans in this world, there is almost no threshold for learning breathing techniques.”
"Are you going to teach them breathing techniques? " Giyu was shocked by Kocho Shinobu's idea.
"There is no need to teach sword forms first, just give them basic breathing techniques to improve their physical fitness and ability to move flexibly. "
Kocho Shinobu said: "According to Kyojuro and your experience, practicing the five basic breathing techniques itself is equivalent to practicing the changes in the properties of chakra corresponding to the attributes. In other words, after practicing the breathing method for a period of time, the difficulty of extracting chakra may be reduced for ordinary people...but this still needs to be verified. "
At the end of the sentence, Kocho Shinobu smiled," But after all, it is just an idea in the final analysis. If we want to implement it, we must at least wait until we leave here and arrive in the Kingdom of Rain to discuss it. After all, this matter is somewhat risky, and I can't make the decision alone..."
"Practice water breathing to make people gentle and calm. " This is the change that Giyu discovered from Itachi," From this point of view, it is indeed very suitable for children whose personalities have not yet been finalized.”
Kocho Shinobu had a look of surprise in her eyes, "So, do you agree?"
After all, Giyu is the Water hashira, so he has the qualification to teach "Water Breathing" to everyone.
"As long as the sword form is not taught, the risk will be very small. "
Giyu nodded and thought for a while, "Besides, the environment in the Country of Rain is very difficult. It would be good for them to become stronger. At least they don't have to worry about ordinary poisonous snakes and beasts.”
"In this case, I will first select some children who are not very aggressive and let them practice water breathing for a period of time. "
Kocho Shinobu's mind has already begun to check and fill in the gaps in this plan, and she seems a little impatient.
"That's it.” Glancing at the clock on the wall, Giyu interrupted Kocho Shinobu's thoughts, "It's time for me to go."
"The time zone of the Kingdom of Whirlpool is two hours later than that of the Kingdom of Water. It should still be dusk now. You shouldn't leave without eating?"
" No need." Giyu shook his head, and gentle ripples appeared in his purple-red Sharingan eyes. "I promised my mother that I would go back as soon as possible, but now I have broken my promise. "
He paused and said something he would never have said a day ago, "Besides, I'm also a little homesick. "
"If the situation is really as we expected, it can be extended to other people more widely. If Kyojuro agrees then, other breathing methods can also be tried..."
"That's right." Kocho Shinobu smiled understandingly.
"Obviously we haven't seen each other for many years, and we reunited for a few hours (we were awake) and then parted again. But as a hashira, I seem to have gotten used to it."
Kocho Shinobu took out Giyu's storage scroll from the pocket of her white coat, "I kept a few of the books you bought for your twin brother, and the rest are inside. I made some notes and annotations with pencil in your textbook. I hope you don't mind."
As she passed the scroll, he glanced at her rather unexpectedly and said
"This (little book) is not something people your age should read, right?"
"Oh?" Kocho Shinobu narrowed her eyes, "How old do you think a person is suitable for that kind of book?"
Giyu thought for a while: "Before the age of ten?"
"No matter how old you are!" Kocho Shinobu pinched her fist hard.
[What on earth is this person thinking about? ]
"Why are you angry?" Giyu felt a little baffled.
"Why is it like my mother (in terms of not allowing Sasuke to read novels)..."
A string of veins popped up on Kocho Shinobu's forehead.
Three tails, who had gone through a lot of things and was still not asleep, wanted to remind him carefully [You can't say that a woman is older, let alone say that a woman is like your mother], but it felt that it was not good to eavesdrop on others on the first day, so it didn't say anything, and the words of these two people related to "when I die", which was quite scary...
Kocho Shinobu took a deep breath, stretched out her right hand, and patted Giyu on the shoulder in a meaningful way.
"Let's go, go quickly."
She pulled Giyu's body in the opposite direction, her voice trembling slightly, "If you don't leave, it will be too late."
"I don't have to go through the door..."
Giyu felt a strong force. Pushing him, he was sent directly to the door.
Just as he was about to turn around and say goodbye for the last time, what greeted him was the stone door slamming into the door frame.
"Stuck."
A crack appeared on the stone door.
"Forget it."
Giyu stamped his hand on the wall and summoned a super-small slug, "I am ready, let's go."
"Got it! Welcome to my home!" Katsuya said and used reverse-summoning technique.
Five seconds later, Giyu disappeared, and the cracks on the stone door continued to expand, and finally separated from the middle, and fell to the ground one after another...
Konoha Village.
The Hokage's office welcomed a special guest.
"Asuma, don't smoke in my office."
Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at his son who was looking around across the desk, with a mixture of relief and annoyance flashing in his eyes.
"Old man, are you really qualified to say that?"
Asuma picked up the brown pipe on the seat and shook it at Sarutobi Hiruzen, "Besides, who do you think my smoking is influenced by? Or? Say, in this room, only the Hokage can do this?"
"Before I gave birth to you, I rarely smoked."
Hiruzen Sarutobi smacked his lips, with a profound look on his face, "I told you not to smoke for the sake of my future. For the sake of the grandchildren. The last time Kakashi went to steal a research report from a tobacco company, it clearly stated that smoking will affect the quality of fertility."
"Ahem, cough..."
Asuma choked on Third Hokage words. He coughed for a while before he stopped.
"Okay, stop talking nonsense."
Sarutobi Hiruzen took back the pipe and stuffed it into the drawer with the crystal ball, looking serious.
"You are now the guardian ninja of the daimyo. How could you come back at will without the daimyo's order? Is there something important over there that requires you to inform me personally?"
Let Asuma come to him instead of just any ninja, itself part of the messaging, means that the daimyo takes this matter very seriously, even with some condemnation.
"It's a very important matter."
Asuma said casually, "Just yesterday afternoon, the daimyo's youngest son, His Highness Ranshi, was assassinated on his way to the Fire Temple to pray for blessings."
“What?!" Sarutobi Hiruzen was stunned for half a second, then stood up and asked seriously: "Why didn't you tell me about such a big thing right away?!"
"He is not dead." Asma gave the reason.
"It's okay." Hearing this, Sarutobi Hiruzen felt relieved. "Is he injured?"
Asuma added: "His Royal Highness Ranshi was only slightly injured, but his wife was unfortunately killed by the explosive tag. The five-year-old daughter is seriously injured and is in critical condition. The murderer is missing."
His implication: If the person with inheritance rights has no problem, the matter is not particularly serious.
"At such a young age..."
Third Hokage asked with a frown. "Did the daimyo send you here to hope that our Konoha Ninja Village will cooperate with the investigation?"
"You will do it even if the daimyo doesn't tell you what to do. How could his request be so simple?"
Asuma shook his head and said: "In addition, in the past few years, ministers have been killed many times in the Land of Fire. The daimyo's attitude this time can be said to be furious, so he sent me to ask the Hokage to come over immediately. On the one hand, you are personally supervising and presiding over the investigation to find out whether there are spies among the guardian nin; on the other hand, you old men should be saying some ugly things to each other..."
"Immediately?" The Third Hokage said suspiciously: "But the Kumo-nin mission is coming tomorrow. At this time..."
"When Konoha sent the mission to Kumogakure to renew the contract three years ago, didn't the Raikage only send his assistant to greet him?"
Asuma retorted and Said: "As Hokage, there is no need to do everything personally."
"You don't understand those people."
Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed, "When I was in the village, they dared to attack the Hyuga clan. If I am not here, No one knows what they will do again."
"I have always disliked your handling of that matter..."
Seeing the old man's eyes suddenly glaring over, Asma's tone changed. He had to be gentler: "No matter how you say it, as the Kage of a village, your attitude towards them is not tough enough."
“Naruto is still young, but the two-tailed jinchuriki and eight-tailed jinchuriki are in their prime. At that time, they still had the capital to fight the war, but we did not, so we had to compromise."
The Third Hokage stood up, turned his back to his son, and looked at the dim afterglow on the horizon, "But you are right, I am sorry for them. The attitude is not tough enough. This time may be an opportunity to express your attitude, Tenzo (yamato)."
"Yes." A masked ANBU ninja suddenly appeared.
"Inform the two elders Homura and Koharu who have transferred to the dormitory. They will be responsible for receiving the delegation tomorrow. In addition, send someone to notify the Hyuga clan, the Yamanaka clan and the hospital. Two jounin will be sent out each and they will be waiting at the entrance of the village in half an hour to come with me to the City of Fire."
"There is no need for medical ninjas."
Asuma interrupted, "Another guardian ninja with a faster pace has already gone to Tanshu Street to find Tsunade-sama. One person is enough."
"That's the best. After all, she is related to the Daimyo family, so she shouldn't refuse."
Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed at first, but then frowned and said, "But she has hemophobia..."
"It is cured." Asma was very sure.
"In that case, let's do it this way." Sarutobi Hiruzen waved his hand, and Tenzo disappeared.
The father and son talked a lot more, such as the fact that Konohamaru was going to Ninja School soon.
About ten minutes later, Tenzo returned to the Hokage's office and reported: "Hokage-sama, Elder Koharu's old illness has relapsed since he went to bed, and he has a headache."
"When did it happen?" Third Hokage was extremely surprised.
"It started after lunch today. Because the doctor from Konoha Hospital stayed with Elder Koharu who was transferred to the dormitory and has not returned yet, he did not come to report the situation."
"..."
Sarutobi Hiruzen tightened his face, his old hands pressed against the windowsill, it looked extremely tangled.
The daimyo's family was assassinated and his daughter-in-law died. With such a tough attitude, he couldn't do it without explaining it, otherwise he would be strangled financially and the ninja would have a hard time.
But when it comes to welcoming the mission, Elder Homura, who always seems tough but actually has the softest ears, how can he rest assured?
But apart from him, the only person in the village who can take charge is the guy with the toughest style.
Maybe, he is just the right person to deal with the Kumo ninjas who are madmen...
"Go to the root and ask Elder Shimura Danzo to come over." Sarutobi Hiruzen said: "Right away."
At the same time, deep in the root, Yamakaze was reporting to Danzo: "Danzo-sama, Uchiha Itachi has been captured."
"Very good." Danzo asked: "What do you say about that monster? It said that it can pretend to be Uchiha Itachi overnight. Can it get close to Uchiha Fugaku?"
"Well, um..."
Yamazuka paused, "The monster who called himself White Zetsu dressed up as Uchiha Shisui, and exposed himself when meeting Uchiha Itachi, and was killed. I used the Heart Turn Puppet Technique to temporarily control Itachi Uchiha, and several people worked together to successfully subdue him..."
“Why am I not surprised at all..."
Danzo asked calmly: " Are there any casualties among our people?"
"Two died."
"Well. As expected of Uchiha Itachi."
Not only did Danzo not feel it's a pity, instead praised Itachi, "He is obviously a born ninja, but he is paranoid. What do you want to do when you stay in the library all day long? A historian? It's a pity for those eyes..."
"I want to immediately dig out his Sharingan?"
"No, since White Zetsu is dead, we can only follow the backup plan and let them openly attack Uchiha Fugaku at the meeting with the Kumogakure Ninja and Iwagakure Ninja envoy."
Danzo paused, "Tomorrow after the ceremony to welcome the mission, Uchiha Fugaku, as the guard captain, will go over with us for a meeting. You use Uchiha Itachi as bait, and catch Uchiha Mikoto and their other son on the way home. Although that woman has not participated in a battle in ten years, a Jonin is Jonin after all. We cannot take risks casually. Let her see with her own eyes that Uchiha Itachi is still alive and intact. Only then can we catch her weakness. "
Finally, Danzo reminded sternly: "Attention, no matter what the outcome of the arrest, no one must know that Uchiha Giyu is dead, do you understand?"
"Yes!"
