Uchiha Giyu chapter 124
🕑 Added 2024-02-18 03:13:41 +0000 UTCChapter 124 The ninjas in the ninja world are the ninjas of Kocho Shinobu
“Although I know you have made a decision…”
“But after discussing it with Himejima Gyōmei, I still feel it is necessary to talk to you again.”
Before Kocho Shinobu left for Giyu’s spiritual space, Ubuyashiki Kagaya had such a conversation with her.
“For anyone, being able to be brought back to life is a rare good thing. This is why I strongly supported Rengoku Kyojuro to go there. But until a few days ago, I and the management of the underworld After asking about things there, I suddenly realized that I was indeed in a hurry at that time. The ‘ninja world’ where Giyu lives is probably not suitable for kind-hearted children to live in. Especially for Shinobu.”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya said solemnly.
After his death, the Lord of the Demon Slayer Squad no longer had the scars caused by the curse, and his face was delicate and handsome.
At this moment, he looked at Kocho Shinobu sincerely and lovingly, like a parent sending their children off to college at the train station, with a faint look of worry on his face.
This is unusual—— A character who can smile even when he and Kibutsuji Muzan died together, showing such an expression shows that he is really worried about the future situation of Kocho Shinobu.
Coupled with his innate talent for prediction, he suddenly said such words, which really made people pay attention.
“Especially me?” Kocho Shinobu pointed her finger at her face, not quite understanding the meaning of Ubuyashiki Kagaya’s words.
“Yes.” Ubuyashiki Kagaya nodded, “You have a strong sense of justice that is no less than Kyojuro, and you have a deep compassion that is no less than Giyu. But you also have some differences with them.”
“Compared to Kyojuro, your sense of justice is less tolerant of impurities, so it lacks the necessary tolerance; compared to Giyu, your compassion is more for the dead than for the survivors, so it is a little darker and resentment.”
Noticing the growing confusion on Kocho Shinobu’s face, Ubuyashiki Kagaya changed his words to be more clear and direct.
“In your heart, letting the evildoers be punished accordingly, thus avenging the deceased, is as important as saving the lives that are being threatened. This is why you have been cooperating with Saneya and sneaking to hell to observe the suffering of Kibutsuji Muzan. This is also the reason why you will severely punish those human criminals while hunting demons…”
“Those people deserved their crimes.”
Hearing this, Kocho Shinobu straightened up and interrupted Ubuyashiki Kagaya’s words, her tone was as fierce as when she was fourteen or fifteen years old: “Those who want to destroy the happiness of others just because of their greed? Are they essentially different from demons? They are also eating people, but in a different way!”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya suddenly froze there and looked at her in surprise.
But he was not angry, instead there was a bit of relief in his eyes.
Kocho Shinobu immediately realized that she had lost control, and quickly lowered her head and sat back: “I’m sorry, my lord, please forgive me for being rude…”
“It doesn’t matter. The Demon Slayer Squad has been disbanded, and I’m no longer your lord, so there’s no need to be so reserved. It’s also important to me to know what you really think.”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya smiled slightly, “Speaking of which, the way you were filled with indignation and what you said just now was more innocent and energetic than when you usually smiled, which is what a young person should have. This is what you looked like before you became a hashira. If possible, I hope you can always maintain that unique momentum.”
Kocho Shinobu’s ears turned a light red color that was unique to her when praised by her elders, but that was all.
If the person sitting here was Kanroji Mitsuri, then her whole face would probably be on fire.
However, the atmosphere has relaxed a lot.
“The reason why I’m talking to you today is not because I want to save the evildoers who have done something wrong from you.”
“I want to remind you that the human beings in the ‘ninja world’ where Giyu lives are different from here. Their disregard for human life, cruelty and callousness are far beyond what modern people can imagine, and this kind of callousness is a common phenomenon over there. This is a very common situation, comparable to our Warring States Period. If you look at them by your own standards, you will probably feel that there are man-eating ‘evil demons’ everywhere. That’s why I say, "You are not suitable for the ninja world Life.”
“Everywhere?”
Kocho Shinobu covered her mouth in surprise.
“Could it be said that there is no place on earth that takes human life less seriously? In Tomioka’s world, would there be a war that killed 10 million people in just a few years?”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya knew that Kocho Shinobu was referring to the First World War that ended a few years ago, so he shook his head slightly.
“It’s not comparable in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality… the situation over there is probably even more desperate.”
He continued: “Here, no matter how dark and shady the real motivations of politicians for launching a war, they must add a brighter packaging to their strategies. Especially in more developed countries, soldiers who participate in war There is no lack of good education and firm belief. They must believe that they are the righteous party in order to kill the enemy with a sense of honor and no guilt and continue to fight the war.”
“Therefore, no matter how cruel the countries on earth are, they will openly advocate kindness, fairness and justice, because this is the ultimate ideal of most of us human beings. This general direction has also led to even the most cruel races to have a cover to do the act of extermination. However, in the ninja world, the power gap between people is even greater than that between people and demons, so there is no need to find a cover for violence.”
“In that world, ninjas who accept assassination missions can act openly and honestly. Killing each other can confirm the ability of a ninja, and the challenges in war can just verify their value.”
“Compared to our world, it is more like a primitive forest with no standard concepts of good and evil, so that after everyone dies, they will only go to a place called the Pure Land, and there is no ordinary distinction between the underworld and hell.”
Speaking of this, Ubuyashiki Kagaya took a deep look at Kocho Shinobu’s increasingly tense expression, and asked a question that he already knew the answer to.
“Shinobu, If you really get there, will you be patient and not interfere with the activities of those ninjas?”
A shadow flashed across Kocho Shinobu’s forehead, and she gave the answer without hesitation: “If they do something evil, such as hurting others wantonly, of course I can’t just sit back and watch.”
“If this is the case, when you get to that world, you will soon be surrounded by enemies and have to pick up weapons to fight again.”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya sighed helplessly.
“Kibutsuji Muzan has less than two thousand men, but according to estimates from the underworld’s top brass, there are approximately eighty to one hundred thousand ninjas in the ninja world.”
He was worried about the future of Kocho Shinobu.
Why is there always a sense of déjà vu that the children are being sent to the battlefield again?
“Shinobu, you have to think clearly. After finally resting, do you really want to continue fighting? From one world to another? Facing those humans who are darker than demons, even if you have a stronger body, your mind You will be even more tired than before.”
“Stronger body?”
Kocho Shinobu grasped the key point, with a hint of cunning flashing in her eyes.
“You have actually predicted what I will look like in the future, right?”
“…” Ubuyashiki Kagaya briefly smiled bitterly, but did not give a definite answer.
“Whether you have seen the future or not, Tomioka and Rengoku are already there. As you said, one of them can’t see others being weak, and the other can’t see others suffering. They are definitely more nosy people than me. They may have been with There was a conflict between those ninjas. But the two of them are here…”
Kocho Shinobu poked her temple with her right index finger and smiled narrowly: “They all have various problems. Thinking about it this way, it has become even more necessary for me to go over and make up for their weaknesses.”
“Since you are so determined, I won’t persuade you anymore.”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya had already expected this result.
“But before you leave, I have one more thing to explain. Do you still remember the arm-wrestling match you had at the Hashira Conference six months before the decisive battle with Kibutsuji Muzan?”
Kocho Shinobu immediately started remembering.
“Oh, you mean, the one in which you want us to find a way to make Tomioka laugh?”
The so-called arm-wrestling contest was actually organized temporarily by Kocho Shinobu, Ubuyashiki and his wife (official novel content).
She asked the other hashiras to deliberately lose to Giyu in the competition. As long as they made him laugh, the task would be completed.
The results are easy to imagine. Not to mention that this game did not achieve the expected results, it actually intensified the conflict between Giyu and Shinazugawa Sanemi.
“Yes.” Ubuyashiki Kagaya said, “After knowing the truth about that world, what Amane and I are most worried about is Giyu’s situation.”
“Are you worried that he will be as depressed as before?”
Kocho Shinobu held her chin and pondered for a while, “It does sound like what he would do. However, the way he was resurrected is different from ours. He should have a new family.”
“I’ve already asked clearly. Most of Giyu’s family and clan are ninjas.”
Kocho Shinobu suddenly raised her lowered head, her eyes flashing with deep meaning: “Are you worried…”
“Although Giyu is taciturn and seems cold and unkind, he is actually the kindest and gentlest Hashira. Now he finally has a happy family, but their careers are going against Giyu’s lifelong philosophy.”
“Based on my understanding of his stubborn character, this kind of contradiction is likely to cause a serious tear in his heart. He will definitely take the initiative to do something to help others to make up for this feeling of tears. It’s like atonement for his clan’s ninja profession. But once he does this, he will feel that he is expressing his dissatisfaction with his family and clan, as if he has betrayed them. If things go on like this…”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya sighed, as if he saw it with his own eyes.
“And as hashiras, every time one of you appears next to him, the tear in his heart will become more serious. Among the hashiras who are in urgent need of resurrection, you have the most communication with Giyu, and your concept and attitude towards ninjas will definitely affect his concept and attitude towards ninja too. If under your influence, the tear in Giyu’s heart expands further, sooner or later he will kill himself because of guilt.”
“So, Shinobu, unless you are willing to redraw the boundaries between people and so-called ‘demon-like people’ based on the actual conditions of that world, you will only a create hell for yourself and Giyu, if you are resurected.”
“Redraw the boundaries?”
Kocho Shinobu frowned slightly.
“You must remember that there is no standard concept of good and evil in that world. What you have to face then is not good people or bad people, but people who have hurt others, and those who have not had time to hurt others, or those who have no ability to hurt others.”
“Many things that seem very evil on earth – such as taking human lives for missions, are probably just a normal thing in the ninja world. Ninjas who have not killed anybody will appear a little abnormal. But if you treat them all as murderers as on earth, and no one is clean. Giyu’s family, as the best ninjas, may also be in this range.”
Kocho Shinobu clasped her hands together in confusion, realizing the seriousness of the matter.
After thinking for a long time, Kocho Shinobu decided to seek advice: “I want to hear your opinion on how to do it?”
“I haven’t seen a ninja in person, so I can’t give you specific advice, but I have two pieces of advice.”
Kocho Shinobu sat upright: “Please tell me.”
“First: Learn the necessary tolerance from Kyojuro; learn from Giyu to understand the limitations of others. Before the ninja world has the soil for the birth of good, you have to tolerate some tolerable and less harmful ‘evil people’ , because they may have been raised that way and never knew the other possibility. As for who is worthy, only you can judge for yourself.”
Seeing the understanding look on Kocho Shinobu, Ubuyashiki Kagaya calmed down for a while before continuing: “Second, you must remember that the conflict between you and the ninja community is not a distinction between justice and evil, but a collision of ideas between two different worlds. Evil needs to be eliminated, but ideas need to be transformed and spread. Many things cannot be solved with weapons alone.”
“I remember.”
The second sentence was a bit profound, and even with Kocho Shinobu’s intelligence, she couldn’t quickly understand it, but she still kept it deeply in her heart, even though she didn’t completely agree with it emotionally.
“That’s it, you have made the final preparations. Say goodbye to Himejima Gyōmei and others and set off.”
Ubuyashiki Kagaya stood up, smiling softly, his body gradually became disillusioned, and it seemed that he was going to go directly back to his job in the underworld.
“You must be more careful and take care of yourself. The world is still too dangerous after all…”
“Please don’t worry.”
A smile covered Kocho Shinobu’s face.
“I have a feeling. In fact, the ninja in the ninja world may not be the ninja’s ninja, but Kocho Shinobu’s ninja!”
The conversation from a month ago seems to still be ringing in my ears.
Now, Kocho Shinobu was kneeling on one knee, and her ten wooden fingers went deep into the ground, pouring out the chakra that was continuously generated by the Bloodline Limit awakening in her body like a flood.
As Haku said, Bloodline Limit usually awaken when their lives are threatened or when they need to vent their emotions, but Kocho Shinobu has both situations.
She does not know the ninjutsu of Wood Release, but under this almost primitive vent, the earth cracked, the roots dug up, and the buried banyan trees finally returned to the ground and saw the light of day again. It’s just that in Gen Shinichi’s previous ninjutsu, they had been forced to separate from the main body and became “retail investors”. They looked a bit messy and lost their previous sense of integrity.
“Become one again.”
Following Kocho Shinobu’s command, the roots of the banyan trees squirmed like octopus’s feet and huddled together in the center which was destroyed!
Then, their thick and strong tree trunks began to grow rapidly. They were stretched and twisted like ramen noodles. They were tangled together like braids to support each other, and then continued to grow taller – in just ten seconds, a tree had ten floors. A tall, twisted tree tower seven to eight meters wide stood in front of Kocho Shinobu.
These dismantled banyan trees have once again become a new whole, completely obeying the command of Kocho Shinobu.
Thousands of aerial roots hanging from the tree crown shot out like sharp arrows and plunged into the ground. And their thick roots are also spreading crazily underground.
The No. 1 Jonin who ran behind was the first to be pulled out of the ground in a few seconds!
The aerial roots wrapped around his legs were as thick as a child’s arms. No matter how he curled up and cut the aerial roots with a kunai, the aerial roots will heal fast as the damage on Kocho Shinobu’s body.
“Damn it!”
Jonin No. 1 threw down his kunai and formed seals with his hands to use ninjutsu. But he was surprised to find that the chakra he had just gathered disappeared out of thin air!
Correspondingly, Kocho Shinobu, who controlled the tree tower like a finger, felt that the energy in his body was fuller.
In the situation of one and the other, she immediately understood – Wood Style can absorb other people’s chakra and use it for her.
As Kocho Shinobu raised her eyebrows, the aerial root tied to the No. 1 jonin hit the tree tower’s main trunk, which was seven or eight meters thick, and then continuously absorbed the energy from his body. The latter became dizzy and became increasingly weaker and weaker, with no ability to resist.
At the same time, Gen Shinichi, who was still running wildly underground, noticed that the speed of those roots was actually a bit faster than before!
[what happened? Why is it Wood Release?? ]
Seeing that the wildly growing roots around him had blocked all the gaps that could be passed through, Gen Shinichi was in a state of confusion.
These trees seemed to be chasing him consciously! How could these insensible plants detect his location so accurately?
Other than being furious, he had no choice but to take the risk and dive deeper into the land.
But he soon discovered in despair that the roots of these banyan trees had become entangled like a group of snakes or spider webs, forming a huge spherical cage. And Gen Shinichi, who was unable to use other ninjutsu in the soil, had become a turtle in the urn.
As for using kunai to open a way? The speed he cuts is not as fast as the roots grow and thicken!
“There must be some omissions…”
Gen Shinichi’s heart beat like a drum, and he looked for flaws along the edge of the cage without belief, but it was doomed to be in vain.
[There is no way to escape. ]
The moment the thoughts of defeat grew in the dark underground, Gen Shinichi heard the sound of the soil being drilled from behind him.
Several aerial roots that penetrated deep into the ground rolled towards his limbs, and he managed to avoid them. However, another aerial root that was as thick as an adult’s arm wrapped around his waist in the dark, as tightly as a python wrapping around its prey, choking him tight. Then a huge force came, and Gen Shinichi’s body was dragged upwards at high speed, rubbing against countless roots and gravel—— In just a few seconds, the reliable darkness was no longer there, and he was back in the broad daylight.
There were several other aerial roots waiting for him on the surface, and they immediately tightened their grip on his limbs.
He was like prey on a spider web, spread out and suspended in the air.
Gen Shinichi immediately noticed: a ten-story-high tree stood there abruptly, as if it had been twisted into a strange tower by a giant, and it exuded a terrifying aura.
As for Gen Shinichi’s fellow jonin, he was tied to the bottom of the tree trunk by thorn-like roots.
He cast a dull and despairing look at Gen Shinichi. At this time, the chakra in this Jonin’s body was only enough to survive.
Kocho Shinobu did not do the same to Gen Shinichi, as evidenced by the fact that the latter was still covered in a black coating representing Steel Release.
Once she absorbs Gen Shinichi’s chakra, she may not be able to see the results she wants.
“I haven’t seen you for a minute. Your Majesty, Jonin. It seems that you still don’t want to go far.”
Kocho Shinobu was sitting on a thick extending branch and was carried in front of Gen Shinichi.
Her tone was full of sarcasm, but there was no smile in her eyes. It was obvious that the previous incident had really angered her.
Gen Shinichi asked angrily: “Who are you? Is all this a conspiracy of Konoha, or what is going on?! What is your relationship with the person who killed the ANBU of the Mist Ninja ten years ago?”
Ten years ago, on the eve of the end of the Third Ninja War.
A group of Mist Ninja Anbu disobeyed the Mizukage’s orders and secretly sealed the Three-Tails in the body of a Konoha female ninja, intending to give Konoha a time bomb.
But when Kirigakure’s large army found them, they found that all of these Anbu were brutally killed, and died under the Wood Release Ninjutsu.
That incident made the senior management of Kirigakure nervous for a long time. They had always believed that Konoha must have the inheritance of Wood Release after Senju Hashirama, but they had just kept it hidden.
Now seeing Kocho Shinobu’s ability, he immediately remembered what happened back then.
Besides, emotionally, if this cruel brat was really a secret weapon sent by Konoha, he would be able to accept his failure.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but I’m not interested in it.”
As soon as Gen Shinichi opened his mouth to say something, a branch got stuck between his teeth and trapped him to the bottom of his cheek.
“Anyway, judging from your previous experience, you can’t speak human words, so it’s better not to speak.”
Kocho Shinobu clenched her fists at him, and the air roots wrapped around Gen Shinichi’s body suddenly tightened, with enough force to directly break the bones of a normal ninja.
Because of Gen Shinichi’s Steel Release, his skin and muscles have turned into materials comparable to steel. He doesn’t seem to be bothered, he just felt a little stressed.
But this is only the beginning.
As Kocho Shinobu’s gaze became more and more serious, all the roots tightened on him, millimeter by millimeter, tightened, and then tightened again, until a crack appeared in the black coating of the Gen Shinichi!
Gen Shinichi was shocked as he felt severe pain.
If this continues, his body will shatter under the increasing pressure.
However, if the Steel Release is canceled, and the body returns to a normal body of flesh and blood, I am afraid that the waist and abdomen will be twisted to the thickness of an arm in an instant.
Either way, it is a tragic death.
The first type is slower, but there may be a turning point along the way; the second type is more brutal and has no room for change.
As long as he still has illusions about his own survival, he will choose the first option, which is to maintain Steel Release.
This is the reason why Kocho Shinobu did not absorb his chakra.
“I have always known that human beings have a dark side…”
While waiting for Gen Shinichi’s slow death, Kocho Shinobu began to speak slowly.
“Humans kill their own kind in order to survive, just like soldiers or ninjas fighting on the battlefield. Either you die or I die. This situation can be attributed to the nature of animals to survive above all else. I don’t like it, but I will not take care of it.”
“In addition, human beings also deprive other people of their lives in order to live a better life for themselves. This is already considered cruelty and atrocities caused by greed, but because the resources in the world are limited after all, this situation is also based on the right to survive. As for derivatives, I don’t like it either, but I can understand it.”
“However, there is only one kind of person who willfully harms others because of his ability and status and enjoys this kind of fun. I no longer regard them as human beings.”
Kocho Shinobu stared at Gen Shinichi’s eyes pointedly.
“I heard that in this world, no matter what kind of things they have done in life, after death, people will go to a place called the Pure Land. When I think that people like you will not be punished after death, I feel bad. But in order to make you worthy of the word ‘pure’ after your death, I feel that it is necessary for me to help you clean up your sins before you die. And only regret and fear can have this effect…”
Gen Shinichi opened his eyes wide. Those eyes contained many primitive and ancient human emotions, which burst out like a storm at this moment. Unfortunately, his mouth was blocked, and he could not express anything. He could only let out a series of shouts of unknown meaning.
Kocho Shinobu stood there, waiting like a statue with a cold face for half a minute. The cracks on the plating of Gen Shinichi’s surface finally spread all over his torso. When the final moment came, he was in a state of utter panic. It turned into red and black fragments on the ground.
Just like the young ninja who was blown to pieces by him with the explosive tags.
When several captives of the Kaguya clan under the tree saw this scene, they immediately became silent and did not dare to whisper to each other.
The other jonin who was tied to the trunk of the tree tower had his throat trembling, leaving this scene permanently imprinted in his heart.
When he saw Kocho Shinobu’s eyes turning around, his whole heart seemed to be pinched hard by a cold hand – he thought it would be his turn after all. He no longer considered whether he could survive, he just asked not to die as creatively as others.
But unexpectedly, the pain he imagined did not appear. Instead, the roots wrapped around his waist, feet and left hand loosened him. Only his right wrist was still tightly bound.
“What do you want?” The jonin looked at Kocho Shinobu nervously, not understanding her purpose.
Kocho Shinobu replied: “I want you to help me to tell what I am about to say to the ninjas like him in the Kirigakure village. You must also tell them everything that happened today.”
“My name is Kocho Shinobu. I am not a ninja from any country. I am just a doctor who likes to remove cancer. Next, I will live in this country for a while and occasionally walk around. You can all gather together to search for me and come to take revenge, or you can pretend that nothing happened and continue to be the last two people I mentioned before, especially the third type of people. However, you tell them that before starting to act, it is best to come here…”
Kocho Shinobu pointed to the top of her head.
“Appreciate their future.”
The jonin raised his head blankly and saw the corpses of the previous dead hanging like fruits under the tree crown. The one whose head was chopped off by his own people looked at him for a moment.
Scenes that we were used to seeing in the past seemed so terrifying now!
“I understand.” The Jonin nodded frantically, “I will definitely tell them.”
After saying that, he looked at Kocho Shinobu anxiously, and then at the branch that bound his right hand, “Then this…”
Kocho Shinobu handed over the Ninja Sword.
The jonin took the ninja sword in his left hand and planned to cut off the branch.
At this moment, Kocho Shinobu’s voice that sounded like a smile suddenly floated into his ears: “Ah! I remembered it. You are the one who said you would break my limbs inch by inch. If you cut it wrong today, just stay here with them today.”
A cold air invaded Jonin's heart, causing the color to drain from his face.
Yes! If Kocho Shinobu wanted to let him go, he could just control the branches to loosen. Why hand him a ninja sword?
“You want me to…”
He choked with sobs and looked at Kocho Shinobu’s narrowed eyes. His voice was hesitant, somewhat pleading, “Want me…”
“It’s not what I asked you to do. It’s what you do yourself.”
Kocho Shinobu corrected him: “Without one hand, if someone wants you to do something that may lead to you being killed by me, don’t you have an excuse to refuse?”
After the jonin was stunned for a few seconds, he finally closed his eyes tightly, raised his ninja sword and slashed hard at his right hand.
His arm was broken at the wrist, and blood flowed out, but he did not scream loudly, but endured the pain with a cold sweat on his head, and his face was as white as a transparent.
He looked at Kocho Shinobu angrily, his left hand blocking the upper blood vessel of the section on his right hand.
The severe pain made him temporarily forget his fear, and his tone became fierce: “Now, can I go?”
“Give me the keys to the chains on their bodies.” Kocho Shinobu stretched out her palm, “Then you can go.”
The jonin handed over the key, and then he threw himself forward as if he had no strength, and fell under the tree. He happened to fall next to the teenagers he had been guarding.
Seeing him fall, the face of the young Kaguya leader suddenly surged with revengeful pleasure. He was about to get closer and step on the fingers of the Jonin’s left hand, but Kimimaro gave him a look and looked up at the tree.
Kocho Shinobu was observing them with her eyes blinking.
Young Kaguya leader suddenly gave a friendly smile, but felt a spider-like numbness crawling on the back of his neck.
The jonin got up with one hand and walked towards the other end of the forest step by step, dripping with blood, fearing that Kocho Shinobu would change his mind if he turned around.
When the figure of the man completely disappeared, Kocho Shinobu let out a sigh of relief.
Logically speaking, yesterday was her birthday in this world, but today she almost lost her life.
She was prepared for this. If she was completely confident from the beginning, how could she let Haku take Giyu to go first?
[If it weren’t for the timely awakening Bloodline Limit, I would have been…]
“Hey! Can you wait for a while and then rest?”
The four young men of the Kaguya clan were still wearing collars and shackles on their hands and feet. They were extremely uncomfortable. Now they saw the key spinning on Kocho Shinobu’s index finger, and they could not wait to be freed.
“Let’s untie our locks first. We are so miserable!”
“I want to eat and drink water, I’m going to die of thirst and starvation.”
“I want to pee.”
“My head has been extremely itchy since yesterday, and I haven’t been able to scratch it.”
Except for Kimimaro who looked at her with an expression of admiration, the other three people said something to each other, which reminded Kocho Shinobu of the three little ones in the butterfly mansion.
“I’ve heard a lot about your family.”
She smiled and floated down from the tree: “I’ll let you go, don’t attack me, otherwise I will be sad.”
“…” Several people’s expressions stiffened at the same time, and then they nodded sincerely
If you are sad, we don’t know what type of painful death we will get.
After unlocking the shackles and taking out the nails embedded in their bodies, their wounds were indeed healed.
The only difference is that when Kocho Shinobu recovers from her injuries, white smoke will emit, and it feels like dead muscle cells are resurrected; but when the four people’s wounds heal, it’s as if the wounds are being closed by an invisible zipper.
Kocho Shinobu noticed this and stared at Kimimaro’s ribs for a closer look. However, this sight was like discovering a new species, which made the white-haired boy a little shy.
“By the way, your name is Kaguya Kimimaro.”
Kocho Shinobu thought of the broken bones, “There is a ninja named Kaguya Kamochi who wants us to hand over something to you. You can go get it later if you come with me.”
“Kaguya… Kamochi?”
Kimimaro thought for a while, nodded and agreed, “Okay.”
[So simple? ]
Kocho Shinobu felt a little surprised.
“But if he goes with you, what should we do?”
The oldest one was not happy, “We escaped with him.”
“So,” Kocho Shinobu turned around, “What’s your name?”
“My name is Haisuru.” The eldest replied.
“I am Tetsuru.” This is the one who is in a hurry to pee.
“I am Gansuru.” This is the one scratching his hair frantically.
“Your names are so straightforward. Are you three brothers?”
Kocho Shinobu whispered, “Now that you are free, don’t you want to go home and have a look?”
“Except for those in the Kirigakure Prison, all the clan members are dead, and there is no one left.”
Haisuru shook his head, “Maybe we will be caught by the Mist Ninja.”
“There should be some clansmen who cannot participate in the war, right? ”
Kocho Shinobu was still a little uncomfortable with the tone in which they said the words “all dead” in an understatement.
“This time we are going to fight without any hope, and we don’t even think about getting back alive.”
Haisuru said matter-of-factly: “Those who were not old enough to fight, or who were incapable of fighting, were all executed before we set off the night before yesterday.”
Kocho Shinobu took a deep breath. She noticed that these people had no sad expressions at all.
At this moment, she suddenly understood what her lord had said before.
Some behaviors that seemed completely twisted to her were self-evident and normal here.
“Then you…” she hesitated, “you better come with me.”
It’s not that I’m worried that these people will be arrested again.
Rather, leaving such a few people in the wild would be too dangerous for other people who encounter them.
Furthermore, she also wanted to try starting with a few of the Kaguya clansmen who were said to be “simple-minded” to see how to change their ideas.
“But, before I go…”
Kocho Shinobu looked at the woods to the west of the tree tower, and then placed her hands on the ground, as if feeling something.
Not long after, the woods over there began to shake, and a figure was thrown from the canopy of trees, screaming and landing in front of Kocho Shinobu.
It was the escaped two-handed sword chunin.
Kocho Shinobu glanced at the opponent’s face that was twisted with fear, and looked at the sky inquiringly.
[Where did En run away? Did she go directly to find the location of Haku and Giyu? ]
Crow En was nowhere to be seen, so Shinobu decided to deal with this guy who should have been dealt with yesterday.
“Isn’t this the gentleman who likes to step on ants?”
Kocho Shinobu’s fingers flicked rhythmically on the Ninja Sword, “I almost let you run away again.”
“I…” The two-handed sword chunin swallowed hard and was about to speak, but was interrupted by Kocho Shinobu who raised her index finger.
“There is no need to recall what ideas you had to torture me at that time. I have no intention of dealing with you based on that.”
She stretched out a finger, stretched it into a green vine, pierced a honeycomb that fell under the tree tower, and rolled it up.
The bees inside had flown away long before Gen Shinichi used that large ninjutsu, but the honey was still there.
The vine grabbed the honeycomb and came to the top of the two-handed sword ninja’s head, squeezed it hard, and poured all the sticky orange honey inside on the two-handed sword ninja’s head.
The next moment, before he could ask any questions, two aerial roots hung down from the tree, covering his mouth and tying him to the trunk. The sticky honey gradually slid down the top of his head.
At this time, Kocho Shinobu smiled and gave an explanation: “Yesterday, I found a kind of ants nearby. Even diluted glucose solution can attract them. I guess honey should be more suitable for them.”
“However,” Kocho Shinobu pressed her chin and leaned forward, asking curiously: “When the honey sticks to your skin and flows into your eyes, mouth and ears, these long Saw-toothed ants looking for food—”
She raised a knot with her thumb, suggesting the size of an ant, “What will they do to you again?”
The two-handed sword ninja trembled violently for a while, finally wet his pants, rolled his eyes, and fainted.
When Kocho Shinobu sighed and turned around, the three brothers except Kimimaro all took a step back and hugged their arms covered with goosebumps, with fear in their eyes.
It looks very much like Terauchi Kiyo, Takada Naho and Nakahara Sumi when they first met Kocho Shinobu.
“There just happened to be many wounded people where I was going (Orochimaru Base), and there were a few nurses missing…”
Kocho Shinobu looked at these children and seemed to be thinking about some possibility.
About a minute later, the familiar sound of flapping wings began.
Kocho Shinobu looked up at the sky and was surprised to find that there was more than one crow flying towards her.
