Uchiha Giyu chapter 117

"Get along well?"
The two-handed sword ninja raised the corners of his mouth sarcastically. He did not have the slightest sense of being at the critical point of life and death. Instead, he seemed to have heard something funny.
"Kid, let me ask you, will snakes and mice get along well? Will lions and rabbits get along well? Will sharks and other miscellaneous fish get along well? Because you are too young, you have no understanding of your situation."
He drew out the two-handed sword behind him.
The tip of the sword hit the ground with a dull sound, and the whole sword stood in front of Kocho Shinobu, which was a bit higher than her hairpin. The intimidation was very obvious.
"I'm afraid you don't know, so I need to educate you about science."
Kocho Shinobu didn't take even a step back, and raised a finger in a scholarly manner, as if she was going to the countryside to educate illiterate people.
There was obvious ridicule in her smile, just like "Mr. Tomioka doesn't know that he is hated?"
"There are several types of fish, such as guide fish and pilot fish, which regularly dispose of debris between their teeth for sharks, so sharks will not feed on them. They can indeed get along well. Ninja-sama obviously lives by the sea, but he doesn't even know this common sense. How pitiful."
“You!" The two-handed sword ninja's eyes widened. He was about to do something, but was stopped by his companion.
"Senior, we still have a mission. If we don't catch up with the team, we will be punished."
Another young ninja didn't want to waste time on two passers-by, and even defended Giyu.
"Most of the mountains around here are full of strange rocks. Some of the rocks are extremely sharp. It is normal for them to cause kunai-like injuries. Besides, there are numerous small wounds on his body. There are no less than a hundred of them. It really looks like It was rolling down the mountain—"
His voice stopped because the two-handed sword ninja looked at him with eyes as cold as blades.
For the latter, pestering Kocho Shinobu was actually just to find a reason to relive the privileges of ordinary ninjas during the reign of the Fourth Mizukage.
When a new Mizukage is elected and the Kirigakure ninjas can no longer "arbitrarily" execute ordinary people because of policies, these middle genin who have no bloodline limit will turn back into the bottom class and cannon fodder without dignity, and will no longer be The superiors who can control other people's lives at will - because by then, their enemies will become ninjas from various countries across the sea, instead of ignorant civilians who have no power to fight back.
It's a pity that he finally separated from the main force. He thought he could relive the respect and fear here in Kocho Shinobu, but he didn't expect that this brat was so bold and easily broke through his narcissistic defense.
[And that annoying smile...]
"Since you are in a hurry to get back..."
The two-handed sword ninja looked at the junior with a fierce look, and handed over his weapon, "Then execute them with your own hands. "
Kocho Shinobu raised his eyebrows, but that was all his reaction was.
She watched the situation develop quietly, as if she wanted to see clearly from the performance of these two ninjas the nature of all ninjas in the world - at least the Kirigakure ninjas.
And this determines Kocho Shinobu's basic attitude towards them in the future.
"Senior, the higher-ups just informed you not long ago..."
The ninja sword boy did not take the two-handed sword, but tentatively reminded: "We are not allowed to attack the civilians around us, and we must slowly restore the trust of the daimyo and the people in us... "
“You are really obedient, as if you are sure that you will perform missions with those big families in the future." The two-handed sword ninja said in a sinister manner: "You should know in your heart that when the time comes, A newcome like you will be working side by side with people like us. "
“There are many people like me who don't fight and go on missions. Do you want me to tell them that you have always looked down on those of us who like to step on ants? Huh?"
The sword-bearing boy's face turned pale with this nasal sound.
Once the senior does this, him being isolated is only the best outcome.
But with the Kirigakure ninja's urinary nature, it is possible to kill him directly by accusing him of "collaborating with the enemy".
"Since you don't want to, just prove it to me."
The two-handed sword ninja grabbed the latter's hand and forced the hilt of the sword to the other person. His voice was like a devil from hell, full of temptation and threat at the same time.
"Kill these two brats and you will be one of our own. I will tell everyone to take good care of you as a newcomer. When the higher-ups ask, we will say that these two people defected during the chaos last night and tried to resist when they were arrested. So you have to kill them, so you didn't violate the new order."
"This..."
The ninja sword boy held the hilt of the sword in astonishment, thinking rapidly about what to do.
The two-handed sword ninja gave him some time without urging.
He turned to look at Kocho Shinobu, hoping to see a look of fear on the kid's face, but was disappointed once again.
Kocho Shinobu tilted her head and said in admiration: "What a good idea. If he refuses to kill us, you can threaten him with his future ninja career; if he kills me, he will disobey the village orders. His life will fall into your hands. No matter what, his fate is controlled by you. No matter what you want to ask him to do in the future, you can use this matter to threaten him. As time goes by, he makes more and more mistakes, and naturally he will become one of your own."
The two-handed sword boy was told what was on his mind by her, and his expression became more and more embarrassing.
"Hmph, listening to what you say, I am more and more convinced that you ran away from the village. Ordinary brats are not so smart." The two-handed sword ninja looked at Kocho Shinobu more and more displeased, "It's a pity, no matter how smart the ant is, They're just ants."
"Ah, when you say that, you must have crushed an ant like me to death, right?"
Suddenly, Kocho Shinobu's tone became extremely gentle. Just like a noble lady who is often widowed and gets her husband's inheritance, she is as gentle as hearing that her blind date has a fortune of hundreds of millions.
"But seeing as you are so young, you should remember the specific number, just like the medals for meritorious service."
"Do you want to know so much? It doesn't hurt to tell you."
Not only did the two-handed sword ninja not feel ashamed, but he bowed down with great pride. He leaned closer to Kocho Shinobu, and then recounted his great achievements.
"I remember 131 people very clearly. The first few were killed very hastily, but then I became very skillful. I chopped off their heads and let their family members watch slowly. I didn't move on to the next one until the blood dried up. At that time they didn’t even have the strength to cry. If you had experienced the feeling of family members dying in front of you one by one, you wouldn’t be as playful and smiling as you are now.”
“That’s really a pity.” Kocho Shinobu sarcastically said In a word, the light in the eyes is like the reflection on the tip of a blade.
The two-handed sword ninja glanced at Giyu: "We don't have that much time, and it is not realistic to find your family, but this kid is very important to you, right? In a while, we will start with him first, and then it will be your turn. As a person like me, I love bullying someone as weak as you. You are so tough right now. Even if you cry a little louder, no one will hear you." After saying that, he turned to look at his junior: "Have you decided? Don't let me keep waiting."
The latter took a deep breath, took two steps forward with his sword, and finally gave the answer.
"Let's start with the injured one first."
The two-handed sword ninja pushed him, but the latter shook his head firmly.
After glancing at the expressive expression of Kocho Shinobu, he immediately lowered his eyelids and put the sword on his shoulder: "I, I also have a sister, so I'll start with you first... It will be quick and won't be painful."
"Do you want me to say thank you?" Kocho Shinobu blinked, "You have to bear the consequences of the choices you make."
“I'm sorry." The sword-ninja boy gritted his teeth, "But I have no choice."
After saying that, his arm muscles bulged and he was about to take action.
As everyone knows, it was this apology that made Kocho Shinobu decide to spare his life.
She thought that the moment the two-handed sword fell, she would lower herself close to the opponent, break his fingers holding the sword, then take away the ninja sword from his waist, and insert it into the heart of that proud Ninja in less than a second.
In the end, she would turn around and break all the fingers and hand bones of the boy with a ninja sword, so that he would not be able to hold a weapon for at least half a year and could only stay at home with his sister. As for any other punishment for him within the Ninja Village, it doesn't matter about Kocho Shinobu.
[That scum is a bit cheap. ]
Such thoughts flashed through the mind of Kocho Shinobu, who often went to hell to visit the Twelve Demon Moons.
The next moment, the two-handed sword in the Ninja sword boy's hand swung down as expected.
But Kocho Shinobu did not dive forward as she planned, but instead took a cautious step back.
A long white ice edge flew into the field from the edge of Kocho Shinobu's field of vision, and plunged into the ground in front of the boy with the sword.
Then the ice-edge tail swung hard and hit the chopped sword blade.
After a crisp sound, the ice edge shattered, but the two-handed sword was also ejected and flew out, grazing the owner's hair.
"There is an enemy!"
The two ninjas immediately stood back to back. One pulled out his ninja sword, and the other took out his spare kunai, and looked at the figure walking out of the shade of the tree as if facing an enemy.
Kocho Shinobu also looked in the direction of the sound of footsteps.
Judging from the appearance, it was a beautiful girl who came out of the woods.
The "girl" has an oval face, delicate and gentle features, long hair falling on her shoulders like a dark waterfall, and her skin and exposed collarbone perfectly interpret the meaning of the word "ice muscle and jade bone". This person is none other than Haku.
He walked slowly and lightly, and tied the forehead protector representing the Kirigakure ninja to his forehead.
In fact, Haku didn't have to do this, because most of the Kirigakure ninjas knew him, but because of Zabuza's fierce eyes, few people dared to go up and talk to him.
"You two, Zabuza-sama has something to do with them."
After he approached, he politely pointed at Kocho Shinobu and Giyu.
"Okay, please, please."
Different from the obsessed expression on the face of the ninja sword boy, the two-handed sword ninja who knew who Zabuza was immediately broke into a cold sweat.
That was the ruthless man who killed all the other candidates in the Ninja School Graduation Examination. The title of Demon is not just talk.
In addition, it is said that the death of the fourth Mizukage is inseparable from Zabuza, and he himself is also one of the candidates for the new Mizukage.
Thinking of this, the two-handed sword ninja slapped his junior on the shoulder and dragged him away quickly.
Just when the two were about to set off, a pleasant warning voice came softly.
"I won't tell the village what happened today, but please be sure to restrain your behavior."
The two quickly made an OK gesture, picked up their weapons and ran away.
But what they didn't notice was that a black bird with red eyes also took off at the same time and followed them slowly.
That's exactly Kocho Shinobu's Crow En.
Ever since she realized that her master would never let go of the ninja holding a two-handed sword, she didn't even need Kocho Shinobu to give orders, she already knew what she should do.
In the Demon Slayer Squad, most of the Hashiras encounter robbers, knife testers or various criminals. At most, they subdue these people and send them to the police station.
But there are exceptions.
For example, if these people encounter Wind Hashira Shinazugawa Sanemi, who is often in a manic state, they will be seriously injured and paralyzed in place waiting to die.
If they encounter the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui who is troublesome and distrusts the police, they will be beheaded neatly, and their crimes will be written gorgeously around the body (Tengen Uzui's signature and simple self-portrait will also be included).
But the most unlucky thing was undoubtedly the encounter with the Insect-hashira Kocho Shinobu who hates evil.
Only she would let these people go for the time being, and then follow them to the door to catch these villains and their accomplices.
First, she would kindly persuade them to surrender, but due to problems with her smile and tone of voice, she often failed, and instead she would be attacked by these villains.
At this time, Kocho Shinobu had to draw his sword to resist in order to protect herself. It's just unfortunate that Kocho Shinobu always overdefends, and these people are either dead or completely disabled.
At the beginning, Stone Hashira Himejima Gyōmei also persuaded Kocho Shinobu that these gangsters should not be executed by them, but should be handed over to the police.
But once, after Stone Hashira was provoked in the street by a murderer whom he had personally sent to the police station, he acquiesced to Kocho Shinobu's approach.
It can be seen that Kocho Shinobu is different from Giyu, who always feels guilty and painful after killing people, and Rengoku Kyojuro, who just subdues people and blocks chakra.
She hates evil very much and she has no psychological barriers to permanently dealing with evil scums.
She let En follow them, firstly to find more similar scum, and secondly because she was worried about the "little devils" the two ninjas said. ( Little devil = kaguya clan four members)
If Giyu's injuries weren't so serious, she would have been the one following him, not En.
anyway.
"Thank you for helping to drive them away. Otherwise, I really don't know what to do."
Kocho Shinobu thanked him with a smile: "But you don't really want me to see Zabuza-sama? In that case, It will be very troublesome."
"That's just an excuse to let them leave."
Haku walked closer, looking over the shoulder of Kocho Shinobu, and saw that the body felt a little familiar.
"Now Kirigakure Village has abolished its past policies, but there are still some people who have not accepted it..."
He took two steps forward again, and finally saw Giyu's face. His gray eyes suddenly shrank, and the sentence in his mouth was suddenly interrupted.
Kocho Shinobu noticed this scene, but didn't say much. Instead, her eyes wandered around the white throat, as if she had guessed something interesting.
[He is one from last night...]
Haku looked at the figure on the stretcher and suddenly remembered the slash that carved out a training ground last night.
He covered his mouth in surprise, not expecting to meet Giyu here.
If the traces of Giyu's battle were not too shocking, it would be difficult for Zabuza-sama to convince the village's senior officials that the Fourth Mizukage had been killed by Orochimaru.
However, the battle between Giyu and Orochimaru and the two Impure World Reincarnation is strictly confidential. Apart from the two of them, only Terumi Mei-sama knows about it.
Moreover, the woman warned Haku and Zabuza not to tell anything related to Giyu, otherwise once the village regards the Konoha Ninja Village as an imaginary enemy, many people will definitely defect out of fear.
At this moment, Kirigakure was riddled with holes and had even lost its tailed beast. The last thing it needed was a powerful enemy.
[Speaking of which, what was the final result? Did he kill Orochimaru? ]
Haku stroked his mouth gently, forcibly moving his eyes away from Giyu and back to Kocho Shinobu.
"Are you friends? Do you have a good relationship?"
Kocho Shinobu nodded first, but then shook her head helplessly: "We have known each other for many years. Sometimes we are very happy when we get along, but sometimes we are very annoyed."
[ Since they are companions, this little girl must also be very strong. No wonder she dared to sneer at those two ninjas before. ]
After Haku made a guess, he calculated the distance from the battlefield to here, and said apologetically: "It seems that I am too busy."
She can drag a person weighing thirty or forty kilograms so far in half a day, no matter how you think about it, she cannot be an ordinary person.
It seemed that he was protecting the two young Kirigakure ninjas just now.
"A group of prisoners escaped from Kirigakure Village last night, and many people are chasing them outside. You must be careful."
After saying that, Haku planned to leave.
Although I was very curious about Giyu and Kocho Shinobu, after all, they were ruthless characters who could destroy half the village with one strike, so it was impossible not to be a little scared.
Especially the terrifying scene where blood condenses into a sword and eyeballs grow out. Thinking about it in broad daylight makes me feel chilly.
At this moment, Giyu, who was lying on the stretcher, coughed violently twice, attracting the attention of the two people.
"How are you?"
Kocho Shinobu immediately squatted down to check the situation.
However, not only did Giyu not answer, his breathing rhythm also deviated from the track of water breathing and became the same as that of ordinary people.
Kocho Shinobu's smile stopped, and a nervous haze appeared on her forehead.
He can't even maintain Total Concentration Breathing, which means that Giyu's condition is extremely dangerous at this time and he has completely lost the ability to control his body.
Sure enough, in less than five seconds, the opened wound went out of control due to the failure of the breathing method. Dark blood flowed out along the lines of the muscles, quickly dyeing the stretcher under him red. Giyu's already pale face gradually became as transparent as glass, like a lifeless statue.
[She has already lost a lot of blood, and it will be bad if the bleeding doesn't stop. It's a pity that there is no gauze to wrap the wound tightly now...]
Kocho Shinobu only thought for two or three seconds before taking off the butterfly haori that was resurrected with him, intending to tear it into strips to stop the bleeding.
"Wait a minute." Haku, who was about to leave, suddenly said, "Use mine. It would be a pity to ruin such beautiful clothes..."
He first took off his ninja jacket, revealing two fair and clean arms.
Then, Haku made a seal with one hand with his left hand, and stretched out a sharp skate knife from his right hand. He easily divided the coat into two layers, the inner and the outer, and then cut it into strips of cloth. Finally, he felt that the cloth might not be long enough, so he took off his forehead protector, and handed them to Kocho Shinobu.
Kocho Shinobu stared at him for two seconds, and without hesitation, she handed his Haori into Haku's hands first, then very skillfully crushed the herbs, applied them, then pressed and bandaged them, and finally used Kirigakure's forehead strap as the final fixation. , wrapped around Giyu's waist, seems to indicate Giyu's identity. After all, it's not uncommon for ninjas to wear forehead protectors wrapped around their waists.
"Thank you."
Kocho Shinobu, who had not felt tired all morning, wiped the water droplets on her forehead, "I haven't dealt with wounds for a long time, so I am a little unskilled."
She turned her head and saw Haku lowered his head, gently stroking the translucent butterfly feather fabric as if smoothing his hair. There seemed to be nostalgia in his eyes.
It wasn't until the long silence woke him up that Haku raised his head in realization and returned the feather fabric with both hands, "Sorry, I thought of something and was a little lost."
"It's okay to hold it for a while longer. If you like, I can give it to you. You can draw a drawing, and then you take it to a tailor shop and ask someone to make it."
Kocho Shinobu raised her eyebrows playfully, "A boy as beautiful as you must look beautiful wearing this, I can't help it but to have some expectations."
"You are joking."
Haku blushed at first, then raised his head in surprise: "Did you see it?"
It has never happened before that someone can tell his gender upon meeting him.
"Although your throat is not obvious, it can still be seen under the sunlight at a certain angle. After all, you are an older child who has entered puberty." Kocho Shinobu took Yuori and put it back on her body. "Maybe your appearance can be concealed. You can outsmart ninjas, but you can't hide it from doctors and painters. As a doctor, I know the human body very well. As for painters, they have some strange habits, so don't talk about them..."
Haku nodded with sigh. I didn't expect this girl to look so young, yet be so powerful and talk like a big sister.
However, seeing the way the haori was worn on Kocho Shinobu, Haku asked with emotion: "This haori is so much bigger on you. It should be a relic of a family member or friend, so it is very important to you, right? "
After saying this, he immediately felt something was wrong and immediately apologized: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to mention..."
“It doesn't matter, I have already accepted this fact."
Kocho Shinobu smiled slightly, thinking of her death Reunion with parents and sister.
"This feather fabric was left to me by my sister. The pattern was designed by my mother and sister when they were still alive. I also made a lot of suggestions."
“That's it." Haku didn't know what he thought of, and a trace of envy flashed in his eyes. The expression immediately disappeared without a trace, but it was still captured by Kocho Shinobu.
Kocho Shinobu didn't know whether the other party envied her for having her family's relics or for having the time to reunite with her family, but no matter which guess, she felt a little sad.
"By the way, since you are familiar with this place, may I ask, how far is it from the Swordsmith Village?"
Kocho Shinobu decided to change the subject first.
On the other hand, she could only roughly determine the direction of her destination, but the exact distance was unknown.
Considering that Giyu spent a whole day and night using Unknowing Fire in order to rush on the road, it can be seen that the location is definitely not close.
"The Swordsmith Village is already close to the coast. Even if the ninjas rushs with all their strength without eating or sleeping, it will still take two or three days to arrive."
Zabuza once went to the Swordsmith Village to consult on whether he could build a second Executioner Blade, so Haku went there together with him.
"If that's your destination..."
Haku glanced at Giyu's face and shook his head slightly: "He can't make it there."
"Then are there any villages or towns nearby? As long as there is medicine for menstruation it will be fine. The herbs I have on hand are only for emergencies."
"No."
Haku shook his head, and Kocho Shinobu immediately became nervous.
But Haku wasn't done yet. He hesitated for a while and said hesitantly: "However, a little further along this road, there is an abandoned patrol station. I, I sometimes live there, so I bought a few spare medical kits."
Facing the increasingly brightening eyes of Kocho Shinobu, he continued: "If you are willing to believe me, I can take you there. Anyway, I originally planned to go there."
Kocho Shinobu seemed to be not wary of him, and was pleasantly surprised, without any hesitation she asked: "Is it really okay? You don't have anything else to do, such as tasks?"
"Well, Zabuza-sama has realized his dream..."
Haku lowered his head, turned away quickly, but raised his head at the same time. He gently brushed his right hand in front of his face.
"I'm afraid I won't have anything to do for a long time."

Where is katsuyu? This feels a bit like a forced plot point
