Uchiha Giyu chapter 116
🕑 Added 2024-02-10 03:09:01 +0000 UTCChapter 116: On the first day I came to this world, I gave up on getting along well.
After noon, in the forest near the mist.
A group of ninjas shuttled quickly among the trees. Except for the sound of their toes stepping on branches or the ground from time to time, there was no other sound.
Their faces were tense, and they looked like they were suppressing exhaustion. They were obviously performing a very urgent mission - to capture four young fugitives from the Kaguya clan.
Three of them have black hair, and like all the Kaguya clan members, they are rough-skinned and thick-bodied, making them difficult to subdue; the other has white hair, and although he is young, he can easily kill chunin and he is very dangerous.
Although these four people did not hesitate to kill the Kirigakure ninja who tried to intercept them when they escaped, the Chief Elder Genji, who was responsible for the Mizukage, believed that these teenagers who "performed well" last night. In the next few years, they will become the backbone of Kirigakure Village and an important bargaining chip to completely recruit the Kaguya clan, so it is best to capture them alive. Don't kill the opponent unless absolutely necessary.
One can imagine how the ninjas responsible for this mission felt.
Their comrades were killed, their home was destroyed, and even though they didn't like Mizukage very much, he was still the Mizukage, and he died inexplicably.
After experiencing all this and a thrilling battle all night long, now they were actually responsible for "inviting" the most ferocious enemies back as guests? Just thinking about it is unacceptable.
The reason why this team didn't make a big fuss, but remained silent like evil soldiers, was simply because the Jonin who led the mission was a clan member of the elder Genji.
"There is someone over there."
The reconnaissance ninja in the team pointed in a direction. "The chakra reaction is very weak. It is an ordinary person and should not be a target."
The leading ninja raised his hand. Everyone stopped immediately and waited in silence for instructions.
"You two, staying in the team will only slow down the others."
The team leader turned around and looked at the back of the team, "Go over there and ask if they have seen any traces of the target, and then pursue it at full speed and catch up with us. The rest of you, keep moving forward with me."
After saying that, he took the remaining people and flew out.
Only the two young ninjas who were named remained where they were with ugly expressions.
"These bastards from big families suddenly became arrogant today."
The older boy among them carried a two-handed sword on his back and looked at the retreating team and said in a disdainful tone: "Yesterday, they only dared to hide in the family pretended to be sick, but as soon as they heard that Mr. Yagura was dead, they immediately came out to criticize. Huh, they also talked about 'genius boy' and 'backbone'. It wasn't because the big families had discussed it and colluded, Kirigakure Village changed again. They will become what they used to be..."
“But... this is also a good thing for us."
Another young ninja carries an ordinary ninja sword and looks more submissive. He is about ten years old.
As he spoke, he carefully looked at the expressions of his companion, "At least in the future we no longer have to attack villagers who have no ability to resist, and we no longer have to kill each other..."
He noticed that his companion suddenly opened his eyes and looked at him strangely. The sword-bearing boy quickly stopped.
"Is there something wrong with your brain?"
The boy with the two-handed sword said angrily: "If we don't kill those monsters with bloodline limits, how can ordinary ninjas like us ensure our status in the village? Besides, Those villages have very high profits, okay? Regardless of whether it is true or not, we can threaten those villagers. If they don’t give us money regularly, we will report that there are people with bloodline limits hidden in their villages; if they don’t give us money, we will directly kill them and then take away all their savings. Isn't this much safer than doing those dangerous tasks? They can't resist anyway…”
"On the contrary, now that the policy has been canceled, we will have to do tasks in the future. We will definitely encounter Ninjas from other countries. We will die without even knowing how we died? "
“That's it."
The ninja sword boy blinked. He had just become a ninja, and he didn't expect that there were so many ways in it.
No wonder the village is getting weaker day by day, but there are still so many people willing to support the Fourth Mizukage. It turns out that this is the reason.
" But it's hard to grow as a ninja if you only fight against people who are weaker than you..."
"What, you look down on us seniors? growing up? Doesn't the growth of a ninja require risks? Isn't it amazing that we don't deal with opponents that can definitely kill us, but instead go after those who we can defeat. You are still too young after all..."
The boy with the two-handed sword snorted coldly, "Let's go and carry out the tasks assigned by the rich masters. It's probably a waste of time again..."
The two of them ran in the direction pointed by the scouting ninja before, and not long after they saw a figure walking on the forest path - two, to be precise.
One person was walking , the other was tied to a stretcher made of wooden bars and vines and dragged forward by the former, but the speed was not slow.
"It should be them. "
Looking at each other, the two people immediately rushed to stop each other, but they were a little surprised.
The person responsible for dragging their companions was actually a slim and petite girl, no more than ten years old.
" Hey you two, what's the matter? "
The girl's long hair was tied up, her skin was as warm white as a pear blossom, and her two violet-like eyes were extremely clear, like a shallow stream, revealing a gentleness and kindness that far exceeded those of her peers.
The only thing that was a bit strange about her is the butterfly-patterned haori she is wearing is obviously a few sizes bigger for her, and the bloodstains on the knees of the white yukata inside. Of course, the strangest thing is that she isn't dragging a girl who is about the same height as herself, but a much stronger boy of the same age that can hardly breathe.
But because Kocho Shinobu's smile was too rare in the iron-blooded place of Kirigakure Village, this caused two young ninjas who had never had similar experiences to suddenly... Ignoring this important doubt.
Seeing that the two people did not answer, but just looked at her in surprise, the Kocho Shinobu repeated her question again: "Both of you, are you stopping me for something important? "
With a smile on her face, her bright eyes scanned the weapons on their waists and backs, as well as the ninja bag hanging on their thighs, and finally returned to the forehead protector engraved with Kirigakure's mark.
Although from her appearance, it doesn't look like that she was wary of them at all.
In fact, she had already untied the rattan connecting the Giyu stretcher around her waist, turned her back with her left hand, picked up a sharp branch under the stretcher with her fingertips, and was ready to take action.
Whenever Giyu's spirit was more active - such as breathing with Moon Breathing, opening the Sharingan or thinking about important things, Kocho Shinobu could understand what was happening outside through Giyu's senses. Therefore, she already has a basic understanding of how ruthless, cruel and domineering ninjas in this world are, and she will never be defenseless.
"Ahem."
The older guy coughed and woke up the boy with the ninja sword. The latter immediately said: "We are looking for someone."
He asked: "Have you seen four people around your age nearby? Three of them have black hair, and one has white hair..."
As he spoke, he pointed at the center of his eyebrows.
"Their eyebrows were shaved off and two small dots were drawn with a cinnabar instead."
“Sorry, I don't know who you are talking about, and I haven't seen any children..."
Kocho Shinobu shook her head with a smile, "Actually, you are the first and second people I met today (in this world)."
As we all know, the first impression is very important, because people are animals with preconceptions.
The performance of these two ninjas will most likely seriously affect Kocho Shinobu's view of this new world. She doesn't care to talk to these two people anymore.
"Like this." The sword-ninja boy had already expected this.
After all, with the way of the Kaguya Clan, if someone really witnessed their escape route, how could they let them go so easily.
Although that clan is stupid, they are not stupid to this extent.
He nodded and looked at his companions, "Senior, let's go."
"Wait a minute..." Kocho Shinobu stopped him, "These children you are looking for, will they not be in any danger?"
Kocho Shinobu, who had adopted several orphans, was inevitably a little sensitive to such words.
In addition, Kirigakure ninjas have a reputation in Giyu's subconscious as "weak and bad", and she worries that this is another attempt by Kirigakure to hunt down children with so-called "bloodline limit".
If this is the case, it proves that the dead Mizukage itself may not be the source of Kirigakure's "badness".
Hearing Kocho Shinobu ask this, the expression of the boy with the two-handed sword suddenly turned cold.
When she mentioned the purpose of finding these "children", he became furious.
In the early hours of this morning, the Kaguya clan, which had been suppressed by Fourth Mizukage, Karatachi Yagura, learned from unknown sources that the ANBU directly under Mizukage was absent, so Karatachi Yagura was unprotected, and they went crazy to attack Kirigakure Village with all their clan strength. Nearly two hundred fighting maniacs with thick skin and no fear of pain poured into the streets and rushed towards the Mizukage Building, claiming to kill Karatachi Yagura. After being stopped by the Kirigakure ninja, a big melee broke out between the two sides. The battle was still not over until sunrise.
But after paying the lives of nearly four to five hundred Kirigakure ninjas, the balance of victory has been seriously tilted.
Most of the Kaguya clan suffered casualties, leaving only a dozen or so of the strongest clansmen still hanging on. As long as the ninjas in the village continue to besiege them, they can be wiped out in one fell swoop.
But at this moment, the top management of Kirigakure suddenly announced that the Fourth Mizukage, Karatachi Yagura, had died.
Now that the Kaguya clan's goal of attacking Kirigakure has been achieved, there is no need to continue fighting, otherwise the clan will only end up being exterminated. The patriarch of the Kaguya clan was an old friend of Elder Genji and immediately agreed to the proposal, but Elder Genji still had to temporarily imprison them according to the rules.
But on the way to the dungeon, the white-haired boy who performed best among the Kaguya clan suddenly burst out like a madman, killed the ninja who was guarding him and ran away, along with three other members of the Kaguya clan.
The ninjas in the village intercepted him all the way, but no one succeeded!
It is conceivable that most of the ninjas in Kirigakure, especially ordinary ninjas, would be very angry when they heard about this incident, so they demanded that the prisoners of the Kaguya clan be severely punished.
However, instead of killing the remaining Kaguya clan as a warning, the senior leaders of the big clans sent out personnel to "persuade them back"!
Now being asked again by a passerby, "Are those children in any danger?" The boy with the two-handed sword was already extremely angry.
He had been with his boss all morning, so he couldn't vent his anger and could only hold it in his heart.
But now, he has an opportunity.
In the worried eyes of his companions, the two-handed sword boy raised the corners of his mouth, walked to the side of Kocho Shinobu as if no one else was watching, looked at Giyu who had his eyes closed on the "stretcher", and then asked condescendingly: "Speaking of which, what is going on? Who is he and why was he injured?"
"My father is a doctor near the swordsmith village, and he is my father's apprentice."
Kocho Shinobu's expression did not change and she answered very calmly. She had heard this place name in Giyu's mind and used it smoothly.
"Yesterday we went to the mountains to collect medicine. It was dark when we came home. He accidentally rolled down the mountain and became like this. I have bandaged his wounds, but if he wants to survive, my father will need to use the medicine himself."
"Really?"
The boy with the two-handed sword squatted down and reached out to lift off the cloth wrapping Giyu's wound, but the Kocho Shinobu took a step forward and stood between him and Giyu.
The boy with a two-handed sword who had always been feared and worshiped by ordinary people felt that he was offended and his mood became worse.
"Where are the medicines you collected? Why didn't I see them?"
He asked further, "Isn't that an excuse?"
"Of course not, you are thinking too much." Kocho Shinobu took a look at Yuori's inner lining. Taking out a handful of herbs, "Most of the herbs were lost because he rolled down the mountain, but there are some leftover here."
Of course, these herbs were not prepared to prevent ninjas from interrogating them, but were used to temporarily treat Giyu's injuries. Fortunately, Giyu's belongings were placed at the bottom of the stretcher for convenience, otherwise it would be really unclear.
In order to convince the other party, Kocho Shinobu told the names and functions of the herbs one by one, but this only made the boy with the two-handed sword even more impatient.
"What a coincidence. The village had just experienced an attack, and a guy like this appeared outside with wounds all over his body."
The boy with the two-handed sword smiled sinisterly, "Who knows if you escaped from the village during the chaos."
“I'm not from here, and I don't know where the village you are talking about is."
The Kocho Shinobu still maintained a smile "If you have finished asking, please let us leave. My partner is seriously injured. If he cannot be rescued, he may not survive for long."
"What's the point of living like an ant? It's better to stay in the mountains and die. Forget it."
A vein appeared on the right side of Kocho Shinobu's forehead, but her smile became even brighter.
The boy with the two-handed sword seemed like he didn't want to continue to trouble them. He turned around to leave. Kocho Shinobu thought that she had managed it, and that she might not need to resort to violence on her first day in this world, and she felt a little relieved.
But at this moment, the young man suddenly turned around without warning, lowered his body and tore off the black cloth wrapped around Giyu's abdomen, revealing the hideous wound.
"This is a wound pierced by a kunai, and you said you didn't escape from the village?"
The boy with the two-handed sword let go of his hand, threw the fragments of clothing that had wrapped Giyu on the ground, twisted and stepped on it repeatedly with his right foot, and touched it with his right hand. He grabbed the hilt of the two-handed sword behind him and smiled triumphantly: "You know, what happens to traitors?"
“Then you know, disturbing my patients..."
Kocho Shinobu also raised her head that had been lowered just now. The corners of her mouth were still curved upward, but the smile was no longer in her eyes.
"In the end.”
"It seems that I can't get along well with someone like you."
