"Today's lunch was also delicious. Thank you, Naruto! (Arigato, Naruto-san!)"
At the door of Naruto's house, Hyuga Hinata held her index fingers with both hands and lowered her head with a red face.
[Finally, finally I don't have to talk to Naruto through other people. It's great...]
"Why are you thanking me? You're too polite."
Naruto squinted his eyes and pinched his round cheek with a smile.
"Besides, thanks to the high-end ingredients you bring every day, when Sasuke and I were training, our physical strength was much better than before."
[Thank you if you want, why did you bring me with you! ]
Beside Naruto, Sasuke, who was casually touched, showed his speechless half-moon eyes, then walked behind the wall where Hinata could not see, tilted his mouth and muttered in a low voice: "Arigato, Naruto-san!"
But the next second, Sasuke suddenly felt a dry pain coming from the front of his calf, which was so painful that he almost shed tears.
"Don't laugh at my sister!"
The one who kicked Sasuke was Hyuga Hanabi, who had come to Naruto's house for lunch.
Although she is five years younger than Hinata, she does not have the baby fat of her sister. In addition, her facial features are sharp and she always looks a bit domineering when she frowns in anger. In this aspect, she is more like an Uchiha.
At this moment, she was holding a large empty vegetable basket on her head and glaring at Sasuke.
"Why are you kicking someone's calf?"
Although Sasuke suppressed his voice, it felt like he was shouting, which showed that it was not an ordinary pain.
"My feet can only go there!"
Hyuga Hanabi replied confidently, and then immediately got out of the door, hugged Hinata's waist, and pressed her face against Hinata's belly like a kitten: "Sister, Let's go, we have to train with Neji-nii this afternoon."
Upon hearing the word "training", Hinata's fingertips colliding with each other suddenly misaligned, and she was obviously panicked.
"By the way, um, Naruto..."
When she became nervous, she started to be hesitant again like before.
"What do you want to say?"
Naruto did not urge her, but comforted her warmly: "It doesn't matter if you speak slowly."
“I want to say that the 'Comet Salt Baked Ham Big Mac' you made yesterday at noon..."
She spoke this long and difficult name very fluently.
[How did she come up with such a shameful name for the meal? ] Sasuke looked indescribably complicated.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" Naruto nodded, encouraging Hinata to continue.
The latter lowered her head and looked at her sister, then closed her eyes again and said the rest of the words as if she was sinking her boat.
"The taste of that dumpling is very unique, Hanabi likes to eat it! I want to make it for her when I am at home, so I want... I want to learn how to make it with you, Naruto-san. I wonder if you are willing to teach me?"
[Ah, why don't I know...]
Hyuga Hanabi's face showed a look of confusion that was inappropriate for her age. She just moved her cheek away from Hinata's belly, but was gently pressed back.
"It's no problem for me. I'm so happy that I can promote the carefully prepared delicacies!"
Naruto agreed excitedly, "Then when do you plan to learn?"
"Can I start tomorrow?"
A stiff smile appeared on her face as red as a tomato, "We will start school in three days. Because I am clumsy. If I only learn it once, I might not be able to learn it..."
"You can study as long as you want. No problem!"
Naruto replied: "Besides, I think Hinata, you are more constrained than clumsy! If you can also become confident, I believe nothing will be difficult for you! "
“Well, really, really?"
Hyuga Hinata seemed a little unbelievable.
One of the important reasons why Hinata likes to come to Naruto's house is that the feedback she gets here is always very different from that at home.
"Of course it's true. Like Giyu, I always say what I have to say!"
Seeing that Hinata still had her head lowered, Naruto took a step forward and put his hand on Hinata's shoulder with a snap, "It's a new school year. It's coming soon, you must be confident!"
Hinata didn't answer, but steam was coming out of her ears crazily.
Seeing that she was about to fall to the side, Hyuga Hanabi stood up with a sigh.
"Are you okay, Hinata?"
Naruto couldn't help but feel worried and retracted his hand.
"She ate too much, just digesting it."
Hyuga Hanabi "wrapped" Hinata's right arm around her neck, and helped her sister, who was about to have a fever of 40 degrees, to turn around, "We will take our leave now, Brother Naruto! I have to do breakthrough training in the next few days, so I won’t come with my sister."
Then, she suddenly turned around and glanced at Sasuke with a threatening look, "Brother Sasuke, you also have to do what you said before, Remember."
[This Girl! If I hadn't noticed that you were young...]
Sasuke's nose wrinkled, but despite Naruto's confused gaze, he could only wave to Hyuga Hanabi.
After the two sisters staggered downstairs, he closed the door forcefully with a loud bang as if to vent his anger.
"Be gentle, this door has only been changed three years ago."
After Naruto complained, he asked curiously: "Also, what did you promise her? Why don't I know anything?"
“It doesn't matter. It's none of your business."
Sasuke snorted coldly and leaned against the door and asked, "Let me ask you, why did you agree to teach Hinata how to cook?"
This expression of catching the mistress made Naruto a little confused: "What's wrong?"
"You still ask me 'what's wrong?"
Sasuke grabbed Naruto's collar angrily, "We were originally scheduled to train together for four hours every morning, but that big eater ate too much, so We had to make more preparations, so we had to come to your house an hour ago. Now you have to teach her how to cook, and even more time is wasted!"
“What are you angry about?"
Naruto asked. He raised his eyebrows and replied: "Aren't you also very happy when you eat? When we meet every morning, don't you also ask me expectantly what I'm having for lunch today? Why didn't you say these things at the dinner table?"
There was a sudden silence after the words were spoken, and Naruto was extremely proud, thinking that he had hit the former's weakness.
It could be seen that Sasuke kept a cold face and said nothing, which made Naruto a little panicked.
"Don't give me that look. The worst we can do is postpone our afternoon training for an hour, so that's okay..."
"I don't want that woman to squeeze in the rest of the time! Since you like to be with her so much, then I won’t bother you for three days even for heaven’s sake!”
Sasuke yelled angrily, opened the door suddenly and walked out, not knowing what strange words he said.
When he closed the door, he didn't know what was wrong, so he imitated Hyuga Hinata's accent and said, "Arigato, Naruto-san!"
But his expression was particularly distorted.
The door crashed into the doorframe again, leaving a confused Naruto scratching his head for no apparent reason.
On the other side, Sasuke returned to his clan like a gust of wind, ran to the lake at the training ground and spit out ten fireballs until the newly bought fish in the lake were dissatisfied and came out of the water in groups. When they spat water at him, Sasuke's anger subsided and turned into a feeling of grievance.
"Damn it, Giyu and Kyojuro are gone, and there's been no news from them for seven or eight days.”
Itachi finally came back, but he spent the whole day in the library checking up on ancient history, and Sasuke only saw him at night!
"It took a lot of effort to still train with me, but now, even this rough-and-tumble yellow hair has been taken away by someone. I don't know what Hyuga Hinata likes about him?"
Sasuke sat in the middle of the lake. On the long bridge, he was poking manically on the bridge with his kunai.
"If I had known this, I might as well have agreed to the invitation of Yamanaka Ino and the pink-haired girl to have a picnic outside, and I would have felt better."
At this time, a curious voice suddenly came from behind Sasuke: "Oh? What about Ino? That pink-haired girl, Sasuke, which one do you like more?"
"Well, it's hard to say! The gap between her and Giyu is so big, I really am not in the mood to think about these troubles right now..."
Sasuke answered halfway. Only then did he realize that there was someone behind him, and he quickly turned around, "Hey, Mom?! Why are you here?"
“The tone of your words was like when I caught your dad eating out late-night snacks a few days ago. "
Uchiha Mikoto unbuttoned the Jonin vest, untied her hair, and sat next to Sasuke as she did at home.
"I finally came back from completing the commission ahead of schedule, but now Sasuke reacted like this. Mom is very sad."
As she said this, she raised her finger and rubbed the end of her eyes.
"Now this trick can't fool even Giyu, I won't be fooled by you."
Sasuke turned his head with a puffed face, "It's too much to eavesdrop on others talking to themselves. I will never forgive you."
[Did she hear everything? ]
"Are you planning not to talk to me, Sasuke?"
Uchiha Mikoto stuck her head over, but Sasuke continued to twist his head, refusing to look at his mother.
Uchiha Mikoto turned around and sighed softly: "What a pity. But dad specially asked me to teach you Thunder Release, but now..."
“Really?"
Hearing the word "Thunder Release", Sasuke turned around, his dark eyes shining with desire like a child encountering a new toy.
"Mom wants to teach me Thunder Release in person?"
"I'm not as good as your father in Fire Release, and I'm not as good as Itachi in shuriken skills. I am only good at Thunder Release."
Seeing that her son finally turned his head, Uchiha Mikoto swept her left fingers at the ends of sasuke hairs to see if they were burnt when he was spitting out fireballs.
"Otherwise, Sasuke, from whom do you think you inherited the thunder attribute chakra you were born with?"
“So that's it! But mom, you never told me about being able to use Thunder Release."
Sasuke scratched his head and said, "I originally planned to wait for Brother Shisui to come back and ask him to teach me."
“Shisui developed the lightning attribute when he became a Jonin. But your mother was born with it. I dare not say anything else. In terms of Thunder Release in the whole village no one is better than me except for Kakashi of the Sharingan."
In the past few years, Uchiha Mikoto had thrown away the skills she had after getting married as a jounin leader. I have picked up those things and even made some improvements - after all, I have to teach students. I can't just rest on my laurels. I have to keep learning in order to set a good example for the new people.
"I heard someone say that Kakashi with the 'Sharingan' can cut off thunder and lightning with his palms. Can mom also do the same?"
Sasuke felt excited just by imagining that scene.
"You are talking about 'Raikiri'. That mother can't do it."
Sasuke curled his lips in disappointment.
"However, there are hundreds of types of Thunder Release Ninjutsu, each with different emphases. Mom's specialty is the use of magnetic fields generated by the properties of thunder."
“Magnet, magnetic field?" Sasuke fiddled with the word back and forth in his mouth, but Still hadn't figured out the meaning.
"You'll understand when you look at it."
Uchiha Mikoto held a shuriken between the middle finger and index finger of her right hand, and then blue electric sparks appeared between the two fingers, and the fine arcs were like cracks in the hand. The sword was densely covered with traffic, as if it was being charged.
She glanced at Sasuke and ordered: "Just throw the shuriken towards the other side of the lake."
"Okay." Sasuke immediately followed the instructions, flipped his hands, and he threw the three shurikens on the left and right towards the other side in a full arc.
"Watch it, Sasuke."
The electrified shuriken seemed to pop out directly from Uchiha Mikoto's hand, with a blue trajectory coming first and quickly passing the position of Sasuke's shuriken.
[It’s just faster? ]
Sasuke felt a little bored, [What's the use of this? Can't it be done with a little more force? ]
However, just when the six shurikens he threw were about to fall, Uchiha Mikoto formed a seal with one hand, and the charged shuriken suddenly burst out with blue-white light, and the spider web-like thunder and lightning immediately spread, and in the blink of an eye, it was a connection between the six shurikens of Sasuke.
The next moment, the six shurikens that were about to fall seemed to be equipped with rocket thrusters, bursting out at the same speed as the electrified shurikens, and continued to move forward in a circle with the latter as the center of the circle.
The seven shurikens and the power grid connecting them formed a large blue "Thunder Shuriken", which easily flew over the lake of more than thirty meters, and then flew faster and faster, entering like a phantom. In the woods more than eighty meters away, there was a toothache-inducing sound of trees collapsing.
"Okay, that's awesome!"
Sasuke exclaimed. He didn't expect that several shurikens combined with "charging" could actually cause damage like multiple explosive tags.
"It's not over yet."
Mikoto curled her lips and formed the seal again. The seven shurikens actually flew back faster than before, and then slowly floated in front of the mother and son, and followed Mikoto's movements. The conductor continued to expand, shrink and deform, and finally cut off the connection with each other as if consciously, and flew back to Uchiha Mikoto's hands.
"How about it, Sasuke, do you want to learn? This is just the most basic application."
Uchiha Mikoto brushed her hair, and was very satisfied with Sasuke's expression of admiration when he usually looked at Fugaku and Itachi.
Sure enough, the latter nodded quickly like a chicken pecking at rice. But Uchiha Mikoto's smile suddenly faded, as if she saw something unpleasant.
"Mom, what's wrong?"
"Sasuke, have you seen that bird?"
Following Mikoto's fingertips, Sasuke found an extremely ordinary sparrow on a big tree on the left.
However, the strange thing is that the sparrow seems to be observing them. As the eyes of the two of them turned towards it, the latter flapped its wings and flew away like a discovered thief.
"The ninjutsu I'm going to demonstrate next is the same as Kakashi's Raikiri. It can only be done if you have the Sharingan. Sasuke, open the Sharingan and keep an eye on the bird. Have you found its location? "
“Yes, I saw it, but it was already two to three hundred meters away..."
Sasuke looked into the air with red eyes. Using the "telescope" function of the Sharingan, it was not difficult to lock on to a flying sparrow.
"It's only two to three hundred meters..."
Uchiha Mikoto's eyes were also blood-red. The three tomoe were spinning slowly, but there was a cold look on her face that she had never shown at home.
She raised her arms forward and raised them slightly, and circular arcs of electricity flashed back and forth on both arms.
A kunai was induced by the magnetic field between the arms, slowly floated up, head facing outward, and slowly retreated like a sharp arrow on a bow, as if there was an invisible bullet on the handle.
"It's almost four hundred meters already..."
Sasuke, who was staring at the sparrow closely, reminded.
At the same time, the kunai seemed to have reached the bottom, like a sharp arrow drawn from a bow.
The next moment, the violent diffusion of air blew Uchiha Mikoto's hair into chaos, and the kunai between her arms turned into an extremely fast orange-yellow comet. Even Sasuke's two tomoe Sharingan could not see it accurately.
All he knew was that the time between when the kunai was shot and when the sparrow four hundred meters away was blasted to pieces by a burst of orange light was probably only half a second!
Although I don't know what hatred my mother has against the poor sparrow, it doesn't matter.
This technique of attacking the enemy from hundreds of meters away is really cool!
[At such a long distance, even if Giyu's physical skills and fire release are stronger than mine, he can't hit me at all! ]
Thinking of this, Sasuke couldn't bear it anymore and shouted: "Mom, I want to learn this!"
"No problem."
Mikoto stood up, the coldness on her face also softened, she and Sasuke together went to a tree and picked up a leaf from the ground.
"Then let's start by getting familiar with the thunder attribute chakra."
A few minutes later, Roots.
"Lord Danzo."
Yamakaze knelt down on one knee, "The surveillance of Uchiha Sasuke failed."
Danzo didn't pay too much attention to it, and asked while handling official duties: "What's going on?"
" Uchiha Sasuke was being monitored by Yamanaka Mi, and the sparrow he used was probably killed. Because the control distance was too far, Yamanaka Mi was unable to withdraw his spirit from the bird's brain in time, so he suffered heavy injuries. Now the person has fallen into a coma. As for what he saw, we don't know..."
Yamakaze lowered his head, his expression could not be seen clearly, but there was no regret in his tone.
Danzo said lightly: "You know what to do."
Yamakaze nodded and continued to ask for instructions: "So, the surveillance of Uchiha Sasuke..."
" There is no need to continue, monitoring him was just a precaution. Now that Kumogakure and Iwagakure have reached an agreement with us and are willing to send additional people to join this operation, the outcome of Uchiha is already doomed."
Danzo put the brush Hanging up, "But speaking of Uchiha Sasuke... What's going on with his twin brother named Giyu? Is there any news from the Kingdom of Water?"
"If there are no accidents, our people should have just come into contact with Orochimaru's people. With such a long distance, it will take at least two to three days for the news to come back."
"It will still take that long. "
Danzo closed his eyes.
"I just hope that Orochimaru won't disappoint me.”
