Uchiha Giyu chapter 104
🕑 Added 2024-01-29 03:54:01 +0000 UTCChapter 104: Giyu has changed?
The red water spreads around as the waves become lighter and lighter, and the bubbles gradually turn pink. After rubbing against the hull of the sailboat, it drifts farther and farther away.
"What! This snake is so inexperienced! It's already over after it started. I thought I could see a more exciting battle..." Hozuki Suigetsu, who was carrying Kyuubi on his shoulders and holding Ranmaru in his arms, jumped off the boat, his tone full of dissatisfaction with Manda.
"I don't know who was preparing the last words just now. What a shameless brat."
Kyuubi picked its nails and sarcastically said.
Hozuki Suigetsu didn't take it seriously at all: "Who would have thought that the teacher, who is obviously about the same age as me, could be so strong as that? Anyone else would think that he was dead!"
Kyuubi snorted coldly, which was considered to be in agreement with Hozuki Suigetsu.
However, compared to the Rengoku Kyojurou whom he admired more, the enemies that Uchiha Giyu encountered were too unsatisfactory, but in terms of destructive power alone, he was enough to rival the tailed beasts.
It's a pity, if it hadn't been unable to contact the main body now, I would have really wanted to remind Kyojuro not to be surpassed...
[What's with this strange desire to win...]
It's as if Kyojuro is its cub.
Kyuubi silently vented its thoughts without saying a word.
As for Ranmaru, he remained silent from beginning to end.
Being held like the princess, he hung his hands around Hozuki Suigetsu's neck and looked at the dilapidated sailboat with regret.
The mast and sails were destroyed, and the hull and decks collapsed in many places: in less than an hour, the "Foxfire", which had only a service life of two days, would be buried in the deep sea.
At this time, they were still a full day's journey from the Kingdom of Water.
"The boat I bought for eight million ryo is now scrapped... Do I have to walk all the way there?"
Seeing Giyu standing there and not understanding, Hozuki Suigetsu muttered and stepped on the water. When we arrived at the place where Manda fell, we happened to hear the last few words spoken by Katsuyu.
"...It's Orochimaru's Summoning beast."
Suigetsu stood in the shadow cast by all the snakes, looking up and shouting: "Orochimaru? the one who appears and children start to get missing? Such a big guy is actually his pet, so Orochimaru must be very strong, right?"
When Giyu heard the word "missing", a trace of haze surged on his forehead. He didn't know what he thought of, but it must have not been a good thing.
It's a matter of dignity. Even though Manda could not move at this time, he still gritted his teeth and corrected: "Summoning beasts at my level are not pets of ninjas! If you don't give me a hundred humans with delicate skin and tender flesh every time, if not I will treat you as lunch!"
As soon as he said this, Hozuki Suigetsu warrily took a step back.
"You're really not scared, you're as brave as a mouse."
Manda was disdainful, feeling the breath of Ranmaru in Suigetsu's arms.
There was weakness, but only this part fit the description of the old woman.
This little devil's vitality is as weak as a flame that can be blown out by a fan of wind. It is impossible for him to achieve his goal.
[Did I find the wrong ship? ]
Manda felt more regretful, and the expression on his face became ferocious and vicious. The fishy smell overflowed from his mouth, making Hozuki Suigetsu who was closest to him feel uncomfortable.
At this time, Kyuubi raised its eyelids and added faintly: "Don't try in vain, it's not you he's afraid of."
Kyuubi's judgment was correct, Hozuki Suigetsu was not afraid of Manda who was no longer a threat.
Instead, he secretly observed Giyu's face. His eyes contained a little worry, but more of it reflected the excitement of the fans who were about to enjoy the idol's concert.
Based on his limited understanding of Giyu, the word "cannibalism" meant something like a trigger to the teacher.
This big purple snake not only eats people, but also boldly says it in front of the teacher. He might be cut into pieces immediately, and Hozuki Suigetsu finally had the opportunity to observe the unparalleled swordsmanship up close.
That kind of scale and lethality seems a bit too extravagant to deal with mere humans. It can only be used on such a behemoth.
But a few seconds passed, and unexpectedly, Giyu was extremely calm, and the scene of fighting the monster that Hozuki Suigetsu had been dreaming about had not been staged for a long time.
Not only did Giyu have no intention of using his hands, but he slowly stuffed the chakra sword back into the scabbard. Even Kyuubi felt strange.
Immediately afterwards, Giyu just lowered his eyelids and pressed his fingers back and forth near his eye sockets, as if he was thinking about something important.
[Because it’s a snake, it’s normal to eat people, so let it go? ]
Hozuki Suigetsu was extremely bored. He lowered his head and jumped on Manda's head. Suddenly out of curiosity, he grabbed a handful of the slug's fat and elastic body, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity in his heart.
Katsuyu has no eyes. It turned its tentacles towards Hozuki Suigetsu to explore, paused for a moment and then moved away, showing no interest in ordinary humans.
However, when it slightly raised its head to "look" at the Nine Tails on Suigetsu's shoulder, Kyuubi also glanced at it impatiently.
Katsuyu suddenly trembled like jelly that fell to the ground. The sweet girl's voice rose one degree in surprise: "I remember this feeling, you belong to Mito-sama..."
"I don't know you."
Nine-Tails' tail was thrown in front of the body, covering most of the body, leaving only the eyes full of warning.
It didn't expect that after so many years, it would see this slug so far away from Konoha, and its mood suddenly became very bad.
The Great Slug Sage was once the Summoning beast of Uzumaki Mito, the first Hokage's wife.
It was also this slug who was meddling in other people's business and taught Senju Hashirama how to manipulate natural energy, so that someone could easily touch Kyuubi's Heavenly Spirit Cap, and even pretend to say "Kyuubi, you are too strong" .
Kyuubi once heard Uzumaki Mito say that using her sea-like chakra to summon, she could only summon 1/5 of the body of Slug Sage.
So this seemingly harmless slug is actually as big as a tailed beast.
Of course Kyuubi wasn't afraid of it.
The reason why I pretended not to know it was because I was worried that this idiot would continue this annoying topic, which would lead to the embarrassing incident of the year. He didn't want Giyu to know that.
"I'm so sorry! I recognized the wrong fox."
Katsuyu moved its tentacles very cooperatively and no longer paid attention to Nine Tails. It really has no curiosity about tailed beasts. It has never spoken to or fought before, and it is not even an acquaintance.
What interests it even more is this child who is a little too quiet but whose body is full of sage chakra.
Katsuyu can clearly feel that it is absorbing less and less chakra from Manda's body.
This means that the latter no longer has the ability to support its body floating on the water, but Katsuyu itself does nothing.
At this time, the only person who can make a weight of hundreds of tons float on the water is this child.
The amount of chakra far exceeds that of ordinary people.
The Second Hokage's unique water release will use natural energy.
By the way, there is also the familiar facial paralysis of the same style as Senju Tobirama who seems to never be able to relax.
The combination of these three gave Katsuyu a bold guess, so it said to Giyu: "Since you are from Konoha, you should be a descendant of the Senju clan, right? I didn't expect that besides Lord Tsunade, the Senju clan had such an outstanding child like you! I think Hashirama-sama, Mito-sama, would be proud of it. However, I guess you should be a descendant of Tobirama-sama, which seems a lot more reasonable. You really have many similarities with tobirama-sama!"
Katsuyu spoke softly and slowly, with a tone of relief similar to that of an elder.
But it was precisely because its voice was so pleasant that Giyu did not interrupt. He waited for Katsuyu to finish speaking and was silent for two seconds before replying: "You made a mistake. My surname is Uchiha. My name is Giyu."
"Pfft hahahaha——"
Kyuubi finally couldn't help but laugh when it saw that Katsuyu suddenly seemed to be frozen.
Hozuki Suigetsu and Ranmaru were confused.
"Then, one of your mother and grandmother must be a member of Lord Hashirama's clan, right?" Katsuyu was still determined to speculate.
"Both are named Uchiha." Giyu gave the answer seriously.
In order to increase the occurrence rate of Sharingan, Uchiha will try to avoid intermarriage with foreign races. Uchiha Fugaku was the clan leader for the previous two generations, and it was even more impossible for him to marry someone other than Uchiha.
"How, how could this happen?"
Katsuyu had no hands, but Hozuki Suigetsu seemed to be able to understand its doubts and took the initiative to reach out and pick its head.
"But in this case, what's the smell of natural energy on your body? Could it be that the toads in Mount Myōboku taught you to practice sage art?"
Each sage art is different, mainly reflected in the source of natural energy.
Mount Myōboku's Sage Art obtains the most natural energy from the air; Ruchi Cave comes from the land, which is why the White Snake Sage can integrate with the earth.
Shikkotsu Forest Sage Art created by the Great Slug Sage obtains natural energy from water and plants, especially water.
The child in front of me is obviously from its school!
With every breath he takes, he can cause changes in the flow direction of the surrounding seawater. How could it make a mistake in its judgment!
"I don't know what Sage Art is, and I have never practiced it."
Giyu shook his head blankly. He felt that Katsuyu seemed a little confused.
"?" Katsuyu's face was twisted into a chrysanthemum-like mass, as if it was trying to express its doubts.
"Don't you know that your chakra is very different from other people's?"
Katsuyu asked.
"You mean the part of the power I drew from the outside?"
Giyu suddenly realized, thinking of the first day he refined chakra and accidentally turned his transparent world.
That was a special change brought about by the breathing method, which made his chakra have one more component than ordinary people.
"Yes, when did you master this skill?"
Could it be that someone from the Senju clan taught this child? Katsuyu thought boldly.
"I will know it from the time when I was born."
Giyu answered very seriously, and seemed to be a little emotional, "It turns out that besides me (and Kyojuro), there are other people with such unique chakra."
[Could it be that there are also chakras in this world? Is this such a thing as breathing techniques? ]
Several outrageous ideas quickly flashed through his mind.
[Could it be a senior from the Demon Slayer Corps who came to this world before me? ]
Katsuyu was speechless.
It felt that the child was not telling the truth, because if it were true, the child would be a born Sage.
But its receptors (antennae) didn't think so, and it was tangled in place for a while, not knowing how to continue.
Seeing this, Giyu pointed at Manda's eyes and said, "I have something to do with him. If nothing happens, can you please leave? I have something I don't want others to know."
This slug is Tsunade's Summoning beast. Giyu has never met Tsunade, but he only knows that Kyojuro thinks highly of her.
But the problem is that Kyojuro can always see the best in people, so he has a high opinion of everyone, which is not very valuable in summary.
Regarding the truth about the incident three years ago and the purpose of his trip to the Kingdom of Water, Giyu didn't want Katsuyu to know too much.
At this moment, he just wanted to get rid of Katsuyu so that he could pry open the mouths of the snakes and collect some useful information.
Katsuyu keenly felt Giyu's attitude, and twisted for a while in frustration, and then suddenly said without warning: "It's better to do this! Let's sign a Summoning contract!"
“Huh?"
Hozuki Suigetsu raised his eyebrows, wondering why the topic was going this way.
He patted Katsuyu's big head and spoke with a hint of disgust.
"What do you think? Apart from being able to absorb chakra and grow up slowly, and vomit some acidic water, you don't seem to have any other abilities? Don't you think about it, such a bloated little thing, the teacher can use it when fighting others? How embarrassing it is for you to be a Summoning! When the time comes, in order to protect your fat belly that doesn’t even have a shell, he will lose to someone else. It’s hard to accept it.”
I originally wanted to say, “ Teacher, you can ask the boss fox to be a Summoning beast.”, But I felt a chill in my heart for no reason, so I didn't say it out loud.
After listening to Hozuki Suigetsu's comments, the two tentacles of Katsuyu trembled vigorously, and it's white skin had a tendency to turn red.
"This is a part of my body! Even Lord Hashirama can only summon 1/3 of my body, which is already much larger than Manda! Although I am not good at fighting, there are many other ways that I am useful! At least for one thing, people who summon me don't need to worry about my safety at all!"
Katsuyu shook its body with a "thump~", and its body suddenly disintegrated into dozens of small slugs, and then merged into one.
"Because most of the ninja's methods can't hurt me at all."
At this moment, Katsuyu acted like a little girl who was looked down upon, which made Kyuubi's eyelids jump.
Hozuki Suigetsu's sense of familiarity became stronger and stronger: [Isn't this the transformation of the water transformation technique? ]
"I don't understand." Giyu said, "You are willing to become my Summoning beast. What do you want from me?"
He glanced at Manda with a pointed look. He still remembered that this guy's appearance fee was one hundred lives.
"I am a peace-loving Summoning beast. I just want to live a long life more interestingly, and I really need companionship."
Katsuyu gave the answer a little shyly, "Just like a monkey who lives alone will throw stones into the water. By observing the water splash, you can confirm that you can 'modify' the world, thereby confirming your existence. The wet bone forest is so big, but I am the only living thing for so many years. It is really lonely. "
Occasionally, It also hopes to stretch out its tentacles that affect the outside world, so it sends clones to travel everywhere, but it moves too slowly...
"I once signed Summoning contracts with many Uzumaki clan members to help them use medical ninjutsu to save their compatriots. Life is quite interesting. But then the Uzumaki clan suddenly became extinct, and fewer and fewer people knew me and were willing to summon me. Unlike the toads in Mt. Myoboku and the snakes in Ryuchi Cave, I don’t need to hibernate and am awake most of the time, so I’m always hoping someone will call me out! But Tsunade-sama is my only Summoning contractor, but she hasn’t summoned me for almost ten years, which made me think that I was about to be forgotten..."
I don’t know if it’s true or because I’ve grown old, but I’m alive. When it said these words in the little girl's voice, it really seemed a bit pitiful.
At least Ranmaru, who also wanted to find his own value, already had a sense of belonging, and his eyes were red.
"It sounds like it's true, you Just like that old woman want to find a more powerful person to make the holy land famous. "
Manda sneered under Katsuyu.
"This is also part of the reason, but it is not the main reason. "VKatsuyu did not refute, "After all, I don't have a lot of subordinates to take care of. "
Katsuyu is a holy place. This is the biggest difference between Slug and Mount Myōboku and Ryūchi Cave. It does not have to consider management issues, and the reasons for contact with humans are naturally different.
"How about it? Are you willing to sign a Summoning contract with me? "It "stared" at Giyu expectantly.
Giyu did not answer immediately, but asked conformingly: "The more chakra I have, the bigger you will be when you are summoned, right? "
"Yes. " Katsuyu nodded, "Besides, I can also teach you Sage Art better..."
"We'll talk about this later.” Before it finished speaking, Giyu interrupted: "I want to know, what do you feed on?" "
He was just in case. After all, the term "Shikkotsu Forest" sounds a bit cruel.
"I have been practicing sage art for too long. I can survive without eating anything. But if I encounter a snake, I will have more of an appetite. "
Manda was scolding in his heart.
[As long as you don't eat people.]
Giyu nodded and stretched out a hand: "I agree. "
Then he remembered that Katsuyu had no hands to hold, and just as he was about to pull it back, Katsuyu spoke: "Please go a little further. "
Giyu did as he was told, and Katsuyu spit out a Summoning scroll from its mouth with a pop, and it just fell into Giyu's hand.
The scroll slowly unfolded, revealing the last few names, each of which was a famous person.
"Uzumaki Ashina, Uzumaki Mito, Senju Hashirama, Tsunade, hey, hey, you're really not bragging..."
Hozuki Suigetsu continued to scroll forward, and suddenly discovered a special existence caught in a bunch of Uzumakis.
"Wait a minute. Wait, who is this Hozuki Shouyue? Why does he have the same last name as me? "
While waiting for Giyu to sign at the end of the volume, Katsuyu explained: "That was before the establishment of the Ninja Village. A young man from the Kingdom of Water came to me, hoping to learn Sage Art and obtain Immortality... "
Hozuki Suigetsu had some bad premonitions. After Giyu signed and pressed his fingerprints, he raised his head and listened to Katsuyu's continued story.
"But his talent is average, and he failed to learn the Sage Art after several years. By accident, he imitated my 'Great Slug Split' and turned his body into water. To a certain extent, he has achieved his goal. After all, apart from thunder release, there are very few ways to do anything to him..."
"So," Giyu's eyes looked between Katsuyu and Hozuki Suigetsu. Shifting back and forth, "It's actually..."
"Please stop talking, it's so shameful! "
Hozuki Suigetsu squatted on the ground as if disillusioned, "Who would have thought that the so-called family ninjutsu is just theft of intellectual property rights. No wonder the Hozuki clan was exterminated, this ancestor is so useless..."
Giyu shook his head, handed the scroll back, and was swallowed by Katsuyu.
"Then please take care of me! " Katsuyu was very happy and said, "Please don't be afraid to summon me! I'm really free. "
"Then can you send us to the Kingdom of Water? After all, that ship..."
Giyu pointed to the half-sunken sailboat over there.
"No problem, you just need to use more chakra and use Summoning skills. Try it now."
Giyu understood, and he stretched out his hand and pressed it on the sea.
The next moment, a huge cloud of fog surged out from under his feet, and his whole body was pushed six to seven meters into the air.
The fog cleared, and a slug about the same size as the main body of the sailboat was standing at Giyu's feet.
When the little Katsuyu saw Hozuki Suigetsu's dumbfounded expression, it bumped into him like a child.
[The boat matter is finally settled.] After thanking Katsuyu, Giyu jumped off its head and landed next to Manda.
"I have some questions." He got straight to the point, "I need you to answer."
"Don't think that you can manipulate me casually after you defeat me." Although Manda has regained some consciousness now, without chakra, he is just a little big ordinary snake, but he is always proud and refuses to bow his head.
But he didn't expect it. It was just a casual remark, and Giyu fell into silence again. The stagnant air made him a little panicked, fearing that the kid couldn't stand the stimulation and suddenly stabbed him in the eye with a sword.
A few seconds later, Giyu corrected him: "I didn't move a finger on you. You obviously hit it yourself."
If Manda hadn't knocked himself unconscious, he would be a dead snake now, and Giyu felt it was necessary to explain to him.
"Damn it..."
Manda felt relieved, but his anger was also released.
Then, he thought that since this kid had just signed a Summoning contract with Katsuyu, maybe he wouldn't have any chance of survival.
"If you don't kill me, I can answer a few questions for you."
Manda stared at Giyu's face, trying to discern the brat's true attitude.
But speaking of it, this was the first time they had met, and they didn't have much hatred. He felt that his hope of survival was quite high.
"I won't kill you."
Sure enough, as Manda expected, Giyu agreed.
But this made Hozuki Suigetsu and Kyuubi a little surprised at the same time.
Seeing Katsuyu, Manda didn't seem to have any intention of objecting. Manda knew that he had finally escaped, and he only retained the last bit of caution. He answered whatever Giyu asked.
These include what he has done for Orochimaru during this period, and the purpose of White Snake Sage sending him here - to find a weak but powerful creature with huge vitality.
"But I may be looking in the wrong place. These useless sea snakes are hurting me..."
Manda muttered, but Giyu guessed that what the White Snake Sage was talking about was Hidan's head hanging on the back of his waist.
[Have you been started to get targeted? ]
Giyu suppressed the vigilance in his heart and asked the last question: "Where is Orochimaru's base in the Kingdom of Water?"
Mizukage's persecution of the people of the Kingdom of Water is certainly cruel, but it is a long-term result and will not kill a lot of people in just a few days.
But Orochimaru was different. He asked Manda to attack four villages in one day, just to target a few young children with bloodline limits. The follow-up plan is completely unclear...
Such an unscrupulous evil person is far more dangerous than Kibutsuji Muzan. Among the people that Giyu has seen, no one can compare to Orochimaru in terms of trampling on life.
What's more, they already had some old grudges.
【We must get rid of him. ]
Giyu strengthened his belief, but he was also a little painful and entangled, [Even if he could cure Itachi's disease, it would be the same...]
Manda betrayed Orochimaru's hiding place without hesitation.
Ranmaru heard this, thought for a few seconds and then said: "I know that place. There is a village nearby that is famous for making ninja swords. Raiga once went there to maintain the thunder swords. If we land from the Water Country, We can get there in less than half a day."
"Okay."
Giyu pressed his eyes and lowered his head, "I have no other questions."
"Then as agreed..." Manda looked at Katsuyu above his head.
Katsuyu shook its body and was just about to get off Manda when it heard Giyu say coldly: "Summoning beasts are not pets. It's your own fault, right?"
Manda looked back warily, "I said it, but..."
"Then there's nothing else to say."
Giyu suddenly raised his head, Hozuki Suigetsu only glanced at it and couldn't help but shudder.
Giyu's eyes at this moment were no longer the bottomless blue abyss, but as deep red as blood.
There are two tomoe in each of the left and right eyes slowly spinning, brewing a terrifying sight.
Giyu stared at Manda, with a flash of violent emotion in his eyes that he had rarely experienced before.
The last time he was like this was when Uchiha Flame used the "Naraku no Jutsu" on him. At that time, he recognized Uchiha Flame as Muzan.
"Since the Summoning beasts are not pets, you don't have to listen to me."
The hundreds of bones floating in the gastric juice in Manda's belly successfully angered Giyu.
The twelve upper-moon combined would not be able to eat so many people in a year, but this is just the work of Manda in one or two days.
The reason why he never showed excessive hostility was because Giyu had no intention of letting this guy go from the beginning.
Katsuyu immediately understood what Giyu meant.
The small Katsuyu continued to secrete acid to dissolve Manda’s skull. The big Katsuyu also approached Manda with a happy look as if it was ready for dinner.
"you--"
All the snakes were shocked and angry, and their eyes almost burst. But before the vicious curse could be uttered, two water whips as thick as cables rose from the water and tied his mouth.
"The ship can still hold on for a while. Let's go back to the ship to rest. I need to recover my chakra."
Giyu closed his Sharingan, and the cruel temperament suddenly disappeared, and instead showed a bit of heaviness like mourning.
"We will continue our departure in half an hour."
Kyuubi looked at the back of Giyu who left first, and couldn't help but feel a little worried when he thought of his behavior that was completely different from usual.
"Those eyes are really not a good thing... Such cunning is not the character he should have.”
