Uchiha Giyu chapter 107
🕑 Added 2024-02-01 03:23:00 +0000 UTCChapter 107 Luring the wolf into the house
The ninja world is a cold place where "strangers = enemies" can be accepted by default. This is especially true in the country of water known as the Blood Mist. All strangers and even acquaintances are natural enemies.
Therefore, after seeing each other's figures, both parties inside and outside the shrine stopped their original actions very naturally, and invariably showed a strong look of vigilance (except for Giyu) to show their careful guard against each other.
But in fact, they are both pretending.
Yakushi Kabuto had no intention of becoming an enemy of these three children. He just wanted to get information to see if, except for the kid from the Hozuki Clan, the other two were within his business scope, and then consider abducting them to increase his performance.
However, Hozuki Suigetsu relied on Giyu's overwhelming strength and did not take the opponent seriously from the beginning. Only for the sake of reasonable performance, he turned around and pulled out the thunder blade from Giyu's waist, and pretended to block Giyu. He stood between Giyu and Yakushi Kabuto, it looked like he was going to protect the teacher's life.
"You..."
Yakushi Kabuto saw the unsheathed ninja sword and took two nervous steps back. When he spoke, he was so nervous that his voice became hoarse and he had to cough before speaking again.
"Who are you?"
He held a kunai in his right hand and placed it horizontally on his chest in an amateurish manner. At the same time, his arms were shaking slightly, and the cold sweat on his head slid down his cheeks and dripped from his chin.
Coupled with his frowning and raised brows, and the sharp expansion of his nose in order to comfort himself and facilitate inhalation, Yakushi Kabuto perfectly explained one word -
harmless.
And this was exactly the first impression he wanted to leave on these three children. And secretly, Yakushi Kabuto's brain was moving at high speed, analyzing everything he had just seen -
These two children should be led by Hozuki Suigetsu. He plays the role of protecting the other two and he is the leader of the team. And this is completely in line with his due status as a descendant of the Hozuki clan.
Among them, the purple-haired boy who was suspected of being injured was the weakest. It seemed that he might lose his breath and die on the spot at any time. He should be in urgent need of treatment.
This was a breakthrough for Yakushi Kabuto, a medical ninja.
As for the little devil with dull eyes, he needs the least attention. Children like him are very common in the Kingdom of Water. He probably lost his goal of survival after losing his family, and just followed Hozuki and Suigetsu in a daze.
In addition to being responsible for carrying the purple-haired boy on his back, he also had to hold the sword for Hozuki Suigetsu, so he was most likely the one who contributed the strength. As for the fox dozing with squinted eyes above his head, it should also be Hozuki Suigetsu's pet, otherwise it wouldn't look so arrogant.
In short, he is a small character who helps Hozuki Suigetsu.
[Let’s not talk about the boy with dull eyes. There is probably something special about this injured purple-haired boy, otherwise he is just a simple burden. ]
[Hozuki Suigetsu is from the ninja clan and has a cruel personality. He is known as the 'Second Coming of the Demon' in Kirigakure Village. It is impossible to keep a useless brat by his side just because of his own will. ]
[So, The purple-haired kid might have some kind of Bloodline Limit? The heir of the Hydrification Technique + a new Bloodline Limit brat, today's harvest must satisfy Lord Orochimaru...]
Thinking of this, Yakushi Kabuto smiled proudly in his heart.
[Is this Orochimaru’s subordinate? ]
Seeing Yakushi Kabuto's cowering look, Hozuki Suigetsu looked back at Giyu with some boredom and disappointment, "Why does he feel so pustular..."
He originally thought he would finally have a chance to show off what he has been doing these days. With his advanced sword skills, he didn't expect that the other party couldn't even hold a kunai, and he suddenly lost interest in doing it.
【Probably just a minion or something like that. 】
Giyu ignored Hozuki Suigetsu’s eyes and his complaint.
He stared at Yakushi Kabuto expressionlessly, but in his heart he was impressed by the exquisiteness of the opponent's disguise -
If only considering facial expressions, this boy with glasses, who was about the same age as Itachi, performed perfectly. Every detail of his facial features corresponds to the chapter on "Fear" in "Iwagakure Anbu Teaches You Mind Reading".
Even though Fujikaze Yukie gave her best performance in the movie, her acting skills were still far behind the person in front of her.
But looking through the world, Giyu discovered that this boy, who seemed so frightened that he almost collapsed, had a heartbeat as steady as that of his father feeding goldfish by the pond. Those subtle expressions, rolls of cold sweat, and trembling movements are all exquisite performances based on a thorough understanding of the human body and the use of physiological feedback.
Thinking of this, Giyu stretched out his hand and tugged Kyuubi's big fluffy tail hanging by his ears. The latter turned over impatiently, swung its tail left and right twice, and said:
[I don't feel any malice. ]
Giyu understood, and had no intention of reminding Hozuki Suigetsu to be careful.
Since the other party doesn't consider taking action, it means he has other plans for their group, which is simply the best.
If this person is willing to take the initiative to take them into Orochimaru's base, a lot of trouble can be saved.
...
On the other side, Hozuki Suigetsu bared his fangs and took two tentative steps toward Yakushi Kabuto with a Sword.
The latter panicked and retreated accordingly, but before taking two steps, his lower back hit the pillars and ropes surrounding the offerings in the shrine.
The foreign body sensation coming from his waist "scared" Yakushi Kabuto himself. His legs gave out and he fell to the ground. He raised his hands and said loudly: "Wait a minute! I am a medical ninja, please don't kill me!"
International practice , the medical ninja will not be killed in a non-combat state.
The Sword in Hozuki Suigetsu's hand dropped, and he squeezed his lips speechlessly. He no longer even had the interest to scare Yakushi Kabuto: "It's really boring, I thought we could have a fight..."
Then, he pointed at the person outside the threshold of the shrine. Giyu waved casually, as if he had the final say in everything: "Bring Ranmaru in, this guy is a soft-legged shrimp, there is no danger at all."
Not only was Yakushi Kabuto not annoyed by being called a soft-legged shrimp, instead a fleeting smile flashed at the corner of his mouth.
For intelligence workers, being underestimated is a victory. The less wary others are of him, the easier it is for them to believe his words.
Giyu outside the door received the "instructions" from Suigetsu, and carried Ranmaru on his back into the building. He knelt down and carefully placed Ranmaru against the wall.
Yakushi Kabuto quickly observed the two of them and keenly noticed that Ranmaru's face was a little blue.
It's not like he was pretending. Ranmaru followed Giyu all the way without rest. During this period, he continued to use his red eyes to explore the road. He had reached the limit of what his body could bear.
Now that he finally had time to rest, he closed his eyes and slumped in place, not wanting to move.
All this was seen by Yakushi Kabuto, and just as he was about to say something, Hozuki Suigetsu put the Sword on his neck again.
"Are you a ninja from the Kirigakure Village?"
Hozuki Suigetsu squatted down and looked level with Yakushi Kabuto's round glasses, "How come I haven't seen you before?"
[ Stupid, he exposed his origins easily...]
Yakushi Kabuto cursed secretly, but still behaved cautiously.
"I have nothing to do with Kirigakure Village. I just learned medical ninjutsu from my teacher. I can barely be considered a ninja." He pressed his back against the altar and kept repeating his identity as a "medical ninja". In fact, he wanted to remind Hozuki Suigetsu, he might be of some use to Ranmaru's current situation.
In this way, the relationship between them can naturally take a further step, making it easier for him to obtain more information.
"Medical ninja? What is a medical ninja like you doing in an abandoned village like this?"
Hozuki Suigetsu looked suspicious.
"There's nothing that can't be said. Don't you know that the legend of the Kusanagi Sword is enshrined here?"
Yakushi Kabuto was very cooperative and almost said something, "This village was destroyed by someone not long ago. But the legendary Kusanagi Sword has never been found. I just heard about this incident, so I secretly came to this village to look for clues while the teacher was out. Unexpectedly, I met you..."
After hearing the "Kusanagi Sword", Hozuki Suigetsu immediately became interested, "Then what did you find?"
Yakushi Kabuto pointed to the scattered scrolls lying on the ground behind him, "There are only these things, hidden behind the plaque of the shrine. But what is written on it? I can't understand it either. They must be very ancient characters."
"What kind of demonic sign are they?"
Hozuki Suigetsu just picked up the scroll and glanced at it, and his eyes suddenly turned into confusing circles.
He looked up and looked at the "sacred object" in the center of the altar, surrounded by pillars and ropes. It was just a large stone with messy colors. At first glance, it looks a little different, but upon closer inspection, it's just that. I don't know why it was offered here.
Hozuki Suigetsu's disappointment was palpable, and he threw the scroll back intact.
"Since you said you are a medical ninja, why are you interested in the Kusanagi sword?"
Perhaps out of curiosity, Hozuki Suigetsu asked.
[Of course it’s to please the boss...]
Yakushi Kabuto rolled his eyes, and suddenly remembered what was said in the information - when Hozuki Suigetsu was in the Ninja School, he always regarded the Seven Ninja Swordsmen as idols, so he opened his mouth and tried to Drawing the psychological distance between the two of them: "To tell you the truth, although I am not a ninja from Kirigakure Village, I grew up listening to the story of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, and I always have a yearning for things like Ninja Swordsmen. I've always been interested..."
"It's just one miscellaneous fish and six pieces of scrap metal."
Hozuki Suigetsu choked out disdainfully before Yakushi Kabuto finished speaking: "What is there to yearn for? I just haven't seen what a real sword is. Only those who are a frog in a well will take them seriously."
Yakushi Kabuto was speechless for a moment and could only smile reluctantly. It was not clear whether Hozuki Suigetsu had some trouble with his brother.
Seeing that the conversation had reached a critical moment where it could not continue, Giyu's voice came from the other side of the shrine: "Can't you eat anymore?"
Yakushi Kabuto and Suigetsu Hozuki turned to look at Ranmaru, who was chewing something in his mouth. He shook his head with difficulty, until Giyu gave him some water, and then he reluctantly swallowed the dry food.
Seeing Ranmaru being cared for so carefully by the teacher, Hozuki Suigetsu raised his eyebrows and felt unhappy for no reason.
But in Yakushi Kabuto's eyes, this revealed a real concern.
[This purple-haired boy is indeed very important. 】
"Is your companion injured?"
After making a judgment, Yakushi Kabuto pointed in the direction of Ranmaru.
"What does it have to do with you?" Hozuki Suigetsu replied angrily, not looking in a good mood.
Kabuto Yakushi Kabuto pretended to wipe the sweat from his forehead, "Well, I can be regarded as a medical ninja. If you are willing, I can take a look at him."
"The best doctors in the Kingdom of Water can't cure him, what can you do?" Hozuki Suigetsu asked with a sideways glance.
"Every doctor has his own specialty. If other doctors can't do it, it doesn't mean that I can't do it."
Speaking of medical ninjutsu, Yakushi Kabuto felt a trace of confidence that couldn't be concealed in his brows. "How will you know if you don't try it?"
"You know how to do it?" So kind?" Hozuki Suigetsu raised his eyebrows, "Obviously we have only met for less than five minutes, right?"
“Anyway, before you leave here, You will kill me so I won't reveal your whereabouts. But if I help to heal your friends, you will naturally be embarrassed to do anything to me."
Yakushi Kabuto stretched out his hand to hold the frame of the glasses, squinted his eyes and seemed to just say casually: "And I have always been a soft-hearted person, and I don't want to see others suffering in front of me. Maybe you don't believe it, but my teacher and I have actually secretly taken in many children like you who are wandering and hiding..." Hearing this, Hozuki Suigetsu and Giyu's eyes collided quickly.
Manda said that he specifically spared those children with the bloodline limit, and now it seems that most of them are in Orochimaru's base.
What Giyu couldn't figure out was why Orochimaru wanted to do this extra thing.
We need to use these bloodline limits children for experiments, and just let them be kidnapped together when the snakes go out. Why should we "let them go" once, which will only cause more trouble.
"Ranmaru, are you willing to let him give it a try?"
Hozuki Suigetsu thought for a while and asked. He looked like he was asking Ranmaru, but actually he was asking Giyu if he wanted to continue cooperating with him in the performance.
Kyuubi's big tail swung again, indicating that Yakushi Kabuto had no ill intentions toward Ranmaru.
Ranmaru and Giyu looked at each other, nodded, and then he said to Yakushi Kabuto: "Thank you then. Can you tell me, what is your name?"
"Kabuto. It means helmet."
Hozuki Suigetsu held the Sword. He took it back and came to Ranmaru's side.
Although he knew that the other party might be a potential enemy, Ranmaru was still infected by Kabuto's warm and harmless smile, and his body relaxed involuntarily.
"The full-body examination will cause some slight irritation to the body, but it will not hurt. Please don't worry about it."
Ranmaru, who was lying on the ground, nodded. It was obviously not the first time he had been on the "diagnostic table" and he was no stranger to the process. .
"Then I'm going to start."
After Yakushi Kabuto reminded him once, the seals on his hands emitted a gleaming green light. This change in the nature of the yang chakra made Giyu's eyes light up.
The operation of medical ninjutsu is too delicate and complicated. Without training thousands of times, ordinary ninjas cannot be so proficient. However, the proficiency of this young man with glasses in medical ninjutsu is comparable to that of doctors at Konoha Hospital. It shows that he has been training diligently.
After the examination began, neither Giyu nor Suigetsu disturbed Yakushi Kabuto.
The former had deep eyes and moved slowly following Yakushi Kabuto's movements; while the latter simply couldn't understand.
It wasn't until ten minutes later that a thin layer of sweat appeared on Yakushi Kabuto's forehead, and the shining green light stopped.
"How is it?" Hozuki Suigetsu asked.
Yakushi Kabuto lowered his eyes seemingly tiredly, hiding a hint of surprise.
After the whole-body examination just now, he was at least certain that this purple-haired brat named Ranmaru had some kind of bloodline limit, and he was indeed the kind of person Orochimaru was looking for.
But correspondingly, Ranmaru's physical weakness may be caused by the imbalance caused by the bloodline limit.
"Generally speaking, his muscle and bone cells are too weak to produce physical energy that can balance with mental energy, so his body always feels very tired. His lower limbs are particularly weak, and he can't walk more than a hundred steps without getting tired. Losing control of the muscles will cause problems in daily convenience, is that true?"
Yakushi Kabuto held the frame of his glasses directly above the bridge of his nose, very confident in his diagnosis.
"We all know these symptoms, and you don't need to repeat them again."
Hozuki Suigetsu frowned, "I'm asking you if there is any way to treat it."
“If it's a radical cure, I'm afraid even the best medical ninja in the world can't do it. After all, it's Innate deficiencies."
Hearing the same judgment again made Ranmaru's expression visibly gloomy.
But Yakushi Kabuto immediately changed his words, "But if he can walk like a normal person every day and solve his physical problems on his own, there is no way."
"What should we do?"
Giyu couldn't judge from his expression whether what Yakushi Kabuto said was True or False, he can only ask for more detailed steps.
"Medical ninjutsu is powerless against this situation, but if we use the changes in the nature of thunder to perform weak electrical stimulation, it should be able to temporarily activate his weak body cells. For ordinary people, this treatment method is tantamount to seeking death. It's a rough road, but for him, it's just right."
"Then why don't you give it a try now?"
Hozuki Suigetsu urged.
"I can't do it myself. With the precision of human manual operation, doing this will cause irreversible harm to the patient anyway."
Yakushi Kabuto explained seriously: "To do this therapy, I must use it. A medical device newly invented by the teacher performs subtle electrical stimulation, otherwise the basic requirements for treatment will not be achieved."
In fact, Orochimaru did create such a machine, but it is not a medical machine. It is "torture machine" that can still generate electrical signals from the brain after death to collect intelligence. But based on the principle, Yakushi Kabuto believed that that thing should be able to solve the problem of Ranmaru's lower limb weakness, so he was not just talking.
"Then where is the machine you mentioned?"
Hozuki Suigetsu asked.
"My teacher has established many secret bases in this country to take in orphans living in various places in the Kingdom of Water. He will provide them with food and shelter, and of course help them with their illnesses."
Yakushi Kabuto saw a chance, Finally the topic was brought to his real purpose.
"One of the bases is not far from here and it has a machine like this."
Yakushi Kabuto paused for a moment, with a tangled expression that said, "I'm taking a lot of risk in telling you this."
"If you are willing to believe me, I can take you there to give it a try. If you don't want to stay there, just wait until the treatment is completed and leave. My teacher is not at home, and I am alone. I can't stop you even if I want to, right?"
Hearing this, the three of them exchanged glances and gave an answer that satisfied Yakushi Kabuto.
"Then please lead the way.”
