Uchiha Giyu Chapter 96
🕑 Added 2024-01-21 03:43:00 +0000 UTCChapter 96 Teacher, it’s all on me!
"Kyojuro is much better than me."
In Yugakure ninja Village, an inn that was not destroyed.
With deep dark circles under his eyes, Giyu read the letter that Kaname brought.
The above content was written by Kyojuro himself. It mainly explained the situation of Amegakure Village, and of course it also included the tie between him and the owner of the Rinnegan Eyes. Giyu admired it greatly.
Unlike him, he fought with three jounin for half a night before settling the matter.
Especially since Shisui seems to have said (he didn't) that Kirigakure's ninjas are the weakest.
"But is Kyojuro really okay?"
Giyu is more pessimistic. After three years of being together, he knows that Kyojuro always reports good news but not bad news, so he directly asks Kaname: "Is he injured?"
Kaname stopped pecking at the snacks. Without any intention of hiding anything, said with a slight worry: "Most of Lord Flame Hashira's injuries recovered during the battle, but several of his ribs and sternum were broken, and they could not be treated with medical ninjutsu. He had no intention of seeing a doctor, so he went out to save people again after a night's rest."
After saying that, it looked at Giyu expectantly, as if hoping to see a "bad" or "not good" worried expression on Giyu's face.
After all, it was obvious that the implication was that Water Hashira could dissuade Flame Hashira from his reckless behavior regardless of his own injuries.
In the past, when Butterfly House was around, the Insect Hashira Kocho Shinobu took very good care of the injured team members. Regardless of whether Kyojuro was willing or not, every injury would receive comprehensive treatment immediately, thereby minimizing the risk of complications or sequelae.
But here, obviously no one can control him.
The only one we can count on is Mr. Water Hashira, who seems to be calmer. I hope he can play some role.
It's a pity that Giyu can't distinguish the expression of the bird. He just actually thought about the injury for a moment and said immediately: "Oh, so there is no problem."
Kyojuro's bloodline "inherited" from Uzumaki Naruto, as well as the A little bit of Nine-Tails Chakra can stimulate the body's self-healing potential. Although medical ninjutsu cannot heal bones, with the help of the Transparent World + Breathing Technique + Nine-Tails, Giyu speculated that it would only take less than ten days for Kyojuro to fully recover.
Besides, as long as it is not the limbs and head, most fractures will not affect Hashira's combat effectiveness. He doesn't need to worry about him.
[What's more, Kyojuro is so much better than me...]
This is the most important reason.
Thinking of this, Giyu took a sip of hot water with confidence.
"..."
Seeing Giyu's relaxed expression, Kaname was speechless. He sighed and said, "I really miss the time when Lord Insect Pillar was still here..."
Even Wind Hashira, who had the most bad temper, once he entered the Butterfly House, he must obey the doctor's orders obediently. He would only dare to sneak away from the window quietly unless Lord Insect Hashira was not around.
Fortunately, this time, Giyu finally got along with Kaname and nodded quite formally: "It won't be too long."
Last night, Giyu, who was short of chakra, fought three elite Jonin at the same time. Although He is still somewhat unfamiliar with the Moon Breathing. But His Mastery over the Moon Breathing Increased a lot. As long as he masters the last four sword forms, he will be able to resurrect the Kocho Shinobu!
This was much faster than he had originally planned.
Sure enough, there is no faster way to learn than actual combat.
He opened his mouth, as if he wanted to say something else, but was interrupted by a knock on the door, followed by a very lively voice.
"Teacher! That annoying guy is here to see you again! What should I do with him?"
It was a small child who stopped.
"Teacher? Mr. Water Hashira, have you adopted your stepson?"
Faced with Kaname's doubts, Giyu waved his hands tiredly, as if he didn't know where to start.
"Tell Kyojuro that I will rush back as soon as possible."
After saying that, Giyu blinked and released the summoning spell, and the crow immediately turned into a ball of smoke and disappeared.
The communication between him and Kyojuro through the crow was done behind Kyuubi's back, so no one else could see it.
At this time, Hozuki Suigetsu outside seemed to be unable to wait any longer. He unscrewed the handle of the door. He squeezed in a jelly-like elastic white-haired head from a space that was difficult for others to reach out.
Hozuki Suigetsu said with a playful smile and a mouth full of fangs: "Teacher, are you still awake?"
“I didn't agree to be your teacher."
Giyu's eyes were dark and he corrected Hozuki Suigetsu quite formally: " Why are you still here?"
After knowing each other for less than a day, this guy stuck to him like a dog-skin plaster, saying that he wanted to learn his sword skills.
Unfortunately, His attempt to steal Giyu's sword when they first met gave Giyu a very bad impression of him.
What's more, The guy, who used shark to spit Hidan into pieces and decapitate him, also had fangs that were very suitable for eating people. Giyu really couldn't help but care about this… ( he is talking about Hoshigaki Kujira)
"I don't like you." Giyu told the truth, "Let's go!"
"I understand, I understand! Teacher, you must be testing me when you say this! Just like in the movie, right Let's go!"
Hozuki Suigetsu said with a knowing expression, "I have been mentally prepared for a long time! Even if I stay with you as a servant for ten winters and summers, I will not give up! Besides, Brother Fox has already Promised, you will accept me as a student! It's useless to drive me away!"
Kyuubi's voice came from outside the door at the right time: "I have promised Him! This brat is much more lovable than you!"
It can make Giyu If they are worried and don't break their agreement, Kyuubi will definitely try it.
This white-haired kid is terrifyingly difficult to deal with, and his personality is completely opposite to that of the paralyzed guy. It's hard to imagine them living in harmony.
There is a lot of excitement to see during the rest of the journey.
After hearing Kyuubi's testimony, Giyu, who had not been able to rest for nearly forty hours, didn't know what expression to show.
Fortunately, someone changed the topic to the other side in time.
"Mr. Tomioka, I am Kamuchi, the butler of Yugakure ninja Village. I have something important to discuss with you. Can you please open the door and meet me?"
Giyu knew that this was the "annoying guy" that Hozuki Suigetsu had mentioned.
Faced with the "If you say no, I'll kill him immediately" expression on Hozuki Suigetsu's face, Giyu nodded feebly.
"Let him come in."
Hozuki Suigetsu retracted his head in disappointment and pushed the door open.
Kyuubi, who was originally on his shoulder, immediately jumped into the room, skillfully jumped on top of Giyu's head and lay down - although this facially paralyzed kid was not very pleasant to talk about, his hair could stand up, giving him a "nest" like Feeling.
On the other hand, Hozuki Suigetsu's hair is too soft, and I would even slip if I didn't use chakra to stand on it. It's more comfortable here.
Then, Hozuki Suigetsu also slipped in with a smile and sat dog-legged behind Giyu, where the ordinary disciples of the dojo were.
Finally, there was the man who claimed to have something important to discuss - he was in his thirties, with a crew cut, and looked more capable than most Yugakure ninjas, without the philistine smell that was very common here.
Giyu frowned slightly, he remembered this person.
He is the guy who tried every means to take away Hidan's head, named Kamuchi.
"I have already said that I will not give Hidan's head to you.”
"Although he was once a ninja in your village, you obviously don't have the ability to deal with him."
With that, Giyu opened the transparent world and scanned the butler's body, he very sincerely stated the reason why he must take Hidan away.
"Once Hidan is resurrected, ten ninjas like you combined cannot be his opponent. They will only have to wait for death."
As if to echo Giyu's words, a dark wooden box in the corner of the room began to fight without warning. It started to tremble and made a "wuwuwu" sound.
Although the voice was not clear, anyone could tell that the guy was expressing his approval.
Hozuki Suigetsu looked at the wooden box with curiosity on his face.
This was the first time he had seen a guy who was still alive after his head was cut off.
[If this head was split in half, would he still be alive? ]
He touched his chin curiously, planning to find an opportunity to try it later.
On the other hand, although Butler Kamuchi still maintained a polite smile on his face, he had already greeted Giyu's parents and family countless times in his heart.
What does "a ninja like you" mean?
What do you know about me?
How did you know that even at the root of Konoha, I am one of Danzo-sama's most trusted subordinates!
Logically speaking, an old ANBU + intelligence officer like Kamuchi shouldn't be angered so easily.
But in just a few hours, he and the ninjas of Yugakure ninja Village were verbally attacked by Giyu quite a lot.
"You are so weak."
"You are completely useless."
"Don't hinder me."
However, Kamuchi quickly adjusted his mood and looked at Giyu with a hint of hidden ridicule.
He's just a kid who picked up a few heads due to good luck...
But once he catches Danzo-sama's eye, no matter what kind of genius he is, his life is over!
Why should I care about a dead man!
Then, the smile that was formulaic but could not fool anyone bloomed again.
"Mr. Tomioka, you misunderstood. Since the leader has agreed that you can keep the head Hidan, I will naturally not ask again. I am actually here for another thing."
Kamuchi took two steps forward, suddenly noticed that the paper placed in front of Giyu was full of words.
His eyes lingered on it for a moment, and he immediately knelt down to take a closer look.
However, his extremely subtle movements still did not escape the eyes of masters of facial expression observation.
Giyu immediately turned over Kyojuro's letter, becoming even more wary of the Butler Kamuchi.
There's something wrong with this guy -
since last night, when other Yugakure ninjas have shown sincere gratitude to Giyu, only this guy's smile has hidden hostility.
Giyu suspected that this person was Hidan's accomplice at that time, but considering that the other party was a senior Yugakure ninja and Giyu had no evidence, he did not pursue much.
The other party's attempt to explore the contents of the letter just now aggravated Giyu's suspicion.
[What exactly does this person want to do? ]
"..."
Noticing Giyu turning over the paper, Kamuchi was suddenly startled and immediately sat up straight, as if he had seen nothing.
"The leader sent me here to discuss your remuneration."
Giyu raised his eyebrows slightly. He was about to say, "I don't do these things for remuneration," but he stopped immediately.
He immediately remembered one thing -
Kyojuro said in the letter that he had reached an agreement with Amegakure Village. Before some hidden dangers were resolved, the village founded by Kyojuro would not move into Amegakure Village for the time being. Instead, it would move to the Land of Rain. Try to independently develop into a city for ordinary people like "Fire City".
And this undoubtedly requires a lot of wealth.
In order to repay Tsunade's medical expenses, Kyojuro spent three years working on missions before he could save enough. If he could play some role this time, he would definitely be able to save a lot of time for Kyojuro.
Thinking of this, Giyu did not hesitate and nodded calmly: "How much?"
This "condescending" tone made the veins on Kamuchi's forehead jump.
"You helped to deal with the Kirigakure ninjas who invaded our village this time. Especially Hidan, Kurosuki Raiga, and Hoshigaki Kujira, they caused huge losses to our village. Since You deal with them. Every member of Yugakure Ninja Village is extremely grateful to you."
After flattering Giyu, Kamuchi gave the number, "So we have decided to pay you 15 million ryo for 5 S-level missions."
【so much? ]
Giyu's face showed no signs of change, but his heart jumped suddenly.
15 million, this is the total amount of money Kyojuro earned in three years.
Considering that there were only five to six hundred people in that village, 15 million ryo could be used for a long time, so Giyu wanted to nod happily.
"Then this -"
"What are you doing? With such a small amount of money, are you bullying my teacher who doesn't understand the market? Are you worthy of the so-called extreme gratitude? Then you really have no sincerity at all. "
Hozuki Suigetsu suddenly interrupted, which surprised both Giyu and Kamuchi.
Giyu turned his head away, only to see Hozuki Suigetsu staring at Kamuchi with sarcastic eyes, an expression of extreme contempt for the latter.
"Hoshigaki Kurija is not very famous outside, so I won't talk about it. But Kurosuki Raiga is one of the Seven Swordsmen of Kirigakure Village. He alone can match at least three S Rank missions rewards. Uncle, you want to send us away with such a small amount of money, it seems like you don't take the teacher seriously!"
At this point, Hozuki Suigetsu and Giyu's eyes met, and then they patted their chests heavily: "Teacher, you are not a ninja, and it is normal not to know the inside story. But don't worry, with me here, you will never suffer!"
“..."
[I really feel a lot already. 】
Originally it was just to collect money, but Giyu already felt very sorry. He didn't expect that this "disciple" would also bargain for a price.
He was about to say "This has nothing to do with you", but his hair was pulled hard by the Kyuubi above his head.
"If you don't understand, don't get involved. I still have a share in this!"
Giyu closed his mouth speechlessly and silently watched Hozuki Suigetsu bargaining.
"Well... we are different from other ninja villages after all."
Faced with the difficulties given by Hozuki Suigetsu, Kamuchi was a little surprised, but he still replied rationally: "Other ninja villages need information on ninja corpses, so that's why They will pay such a high price, but we in Yugakure Ninja Village do not need to do this, so..."
“That's good."
Hozuki Suigetsu bared his teeth at Kamuchi with a cruel smile, "Since you don't need the corpse, just return the corpse. If you go to the gold exchange and sell it for money, Kurosuki Raiga's body alone can be exchanged for 18 million! Ho ho, even the savior has to be deceived. It is indeed the village that is the best at doing business. It's really an experience.”
Although each of the seven Kirigakure members is the idol of Hozuki Suigetsu.
But now that he got to know Giyu, Hozuki Suigetsu suddenly felt that the seven people seemed to be just that, saying that he wanted to sell the body of his seniors, etc., there was no obstacle at all.
"!" Kamuchi was speechless for a moment.
The Yugakure ninja Village doesn't care about corpses...
but he does!
There are ninjas from the Yamazaka clan at the root, and they can extract information even from corpses. How could he let it go?
As soon as this incident is over, he will find a way to "steal" these corpses and transfer them to Konoha.
Thinking of this, he gritted his teeth: "Then little brother, how much do you think is appropriate?"
“We don't want more. Those twelve Kirigakure ninjas are considered twelve S-level missions."
Hozuki Suigetsu. He stretched out his hand and gestured, "One price, thirty-six million."
It was impossible for him to actually take Giyu to the money exchange, after all, he himself had a bounty.
After thinking about it, Hozuki Suigetsu rationally asked for a less exaggerated price.
"...Okay." Kamuchi felt that this was still acceptable.
Yugakure Ninja Village is very rich, and his status in the village will not be affected by this number.
"Then let's take this price. I'll go back and tell the two leaders that the check will be delivered soon."
As he said that, Kamuchi put his right hand on the ground and looked like he was about to get up and leave.
"Wait a minute, I haven't finished speaking yet!"
Hozuki Suigetsu told him to sit down again.
【Not finished yet? 】
Giyu was amazed by Hozuki Suigetsu's bargaining ability, and Kyuubi was also satisfied with the performance of his new little brother .
"Thirty-six million, it's just the teacher's reward for helping you deal with the Kirigakure ninjas, and Hidan."
Hozuki Suigetsu took out a yellowed piece of paper from his arms and unfolded it, and there was a photo of Hidan hanging on it.
"This is your wanted order for Hidan from more than two years ago. It is clearly written in black and white on the paper that it does not matter whether he lives or dies, and the reward is 10 million!"
He glanced at the box containing Hidan's head: "Since the teacher is interested in his head and wants to keep it for himself, I'll give you a 50% discount. But considering that there are also those lunatics out there who kill everyone on sight. The teacher is taking care of it. It’s okay to add three million more, for a total of eight million. This is the reward for dealing with the evil cultists! "
Kamuchi calculated and found that adding eight million was not unacceptable. After being silent for a while, he still nodded with difficulty.
"Don't be so anxious to relax. I haven't finished speaking yet. Why are you anxious?"
"There's more?!" Kamuchi's expression fell.
Any more may affect his status in this village!
If he had known better, he wouldn't have taken the job.
Hozuki Suigetsu smiled coquettishly and gave him a calm expression.
"Isn't your leader's life valuable? Isn't the life of so many rescued passengers and the residents of Yugakure ninja Village valuable?"
Hozuki Suigetsu opened his eyes in a pretentious manner and clapped his fingers in a sinister manner, "Haven't you ever thought about it? If the teacher hadn't helped with the treatment after the fight, at least a hundred more people would have died, even more Don't talk about the injured people? Don't you consider the cost?"
Butler Kamuchi had nothing to say.
Although he is a basic spy, he doesn't care if many people die in this village.
But on the surface, he was still a senior member of Yugakure ninja, so of course he couldn't say that kind of thing.
Once word spreads, all his efforts over the past few years will be in vain.
Seeing that Kamuchi didn't respond, Hozuki Suigetsu immediately took advantage of the victory and said, "According to the market price of medical ninjas, another ten million, without asking..."
“That's enough."
It was not Kamuchi who said this, but Giyu.
This time, no matter how much Kyuubi pulled his hair, Giyu had no intention of changing his mind.
Previously, considering that Kyojurou might be in urgent need of money, Giyu reluctantly agreed to receive Yugakure ninja's reward.
But if he had to charge money even for saving the lives of the injured, he really couldn't accept it.
Instead, Giyu felt very guilty.
[If I could be as strong as Rengoku and more vigilant, maybe no one would die today...]
Reluctantly suppressing the guilt in his heart, he raised his eyes to look at the surprised Kamuchi and said slowly: "The cost of treatment. Forget it, that's not the reason for me to save people. As for Eight Million for dealing with the evil cultists, there's no need."
“Huh?" Hozuki Suigetsu showed an aggrieved expression. This was the apprenticeship ceremony he had fought for.
"But in exchange, I need a ship."
Giyu said to Kamuchi: "Hoshigaki Kujira used ninjutsu to cause a tsunami and destroyed all the ships on the dock. But as far as I know, Yugakure has six shipyards, should have a ship that is about to be completed. I need one of them, the sooner it can be launched into the water, the better. It doesn’t matter if there are no sailors."
He can use his Clones.
"Okay, I can promise you this on behalf of the leader."
Kamuchi rolled his eyes, becoming more sure that this kid's intention to rush to the Kingdom of Water was extremely urgent.
Then, he looked fearfully at Hozuki Suigetsu, who had a look of pity on his face, and then asked Giyu: "That's it? One ship, and 36 million ryo."
Giyu nodded, he didn't have time Continue to spend time here.
After receiving a satisfactory answer, Kamuchi immediately left, and then Giyu looked at Hozuki Suigetsu, who had a puzzled look on his face.
He didn't explain the reason for doing this, but just said sincerely: "Thank you."
Hozuki Suigetsu helped to get so much money, and it saved him and Kyojuro a lot of time, so he should be grateful.
However, when Hozuki Suigetsu saw that Giyu's attitude seemed to have softened, he immediately smiled and said, "So, are you willing to teach me swordsmanship?"
"No."
Giyu did not hesitate.
Hozuki Suigetsu's jelly face squeezed hard and he pursed his lips in displeasure, but it didn't last long.
Because Giyu picked up two swords wrapped in white cloth and threw them directly into Hozuki Suigetsu's arms.
"This is a thank you gift."
"This..."
After taking a look at the shape of the pair of things in his arms, Hozuki Suigetsu felt a tremor from his soul rushing to the sky.
"Is this Thunder Sword- Kiba?"
Giyu hummed and turned his back.
After receiving a positive answer, Hozuki Suigetsu lost all restraint and tore open the white cloth outside one of the swords. He found that there was indeed a Thunder Sword inside, and even his breathing became thicker.
However, when he excitedly opened the cloth package wrapped in another sword -
there was a "clang" sound, and Hozuki Suigetsu's slightly red face that was about to melt immediately solidified.
"B-Broken?!"
"Yeah." Giyu's voice came back, "One can last a long time. I tried it, it's very strong.”
