Uchiha Giyu chapter 90
🕑 Added 2024-01-15 03:52:01 +0000 UTCChapter 90 Sun vs. God (2/5)
Yasujiro is the veteran experimental subject who was mistakenly implanted with the Black Sanshōuo three years ago.
Kyojuro and Shizune went to great lengths to remove his poison sac. In the end, it was Tsunade who took action in person to complete the aftermath of the operation. She also took advantage of the situation and charged a sky-high price for the operation... In terms of wealth alone, this little-known boy is already as good as half Asuma.
Of course, the insider didn't tell him much about the latter part.
At this time, Yasujiro's eyes were filled with hot tears, and they were overflowing with unbelievable light. He stared at Kyojuro opposite him, his shoulders and back were slightly shaking due to excitement, as if he had seen his parents who had been parted for a long time.
He had fantasized about meeting Kyojuro again countless times, but he never expected that it would be on such an occasion, without any warning, so suddenly, just like the first time they met back then.
He was only in his early teens at the time, but due to adequate diet and exercise over the years, he was already as tall as an adult.
Coupled with the thick raincoat, large hat and gas mask, at first glance, he looked not much different from the other rain ninjas responsible for guarding the door...
But he did not expect that he would be recognized by Kyojuro so easily.
"Kyojuro..."
Ignoring the increasingly weird looks from his peers, Yasujiro was like a child who was sent to kindergarten for the first time, desperately wiping his tears with the heel of his palms, and making a choked sound at the same time, even under the pouring rain. No sound could cover up this voice, completely exposing his vulnerability to the rain ninja who were working together.
"It turns out you still, still remember me. I thought you... you had forgotten us a long time ago..."
"How is this possible?!"
Kyojuro smiled heartily, "We have dealt with very troublesome enemies together! I will never forget the teammates who fought side by side!"
The enemy he was talking about was naturally the poisonous sac of the black pepper fish.
From an ordinary person's perspective, the successful completion of the operation was entirely due to him, Shizune, and Tsunade, but Kyojuro took into account the patient's own desire to survive, and that's why he said he fought side by side.
After hearing his unique statement, Yasujiro was also sure that this was Kyojuro himself and not a fake person.
In this world, only Kyojuro can speak like this. Just listening to it makes people feel empowered.
"Then why...you never came back to see us?"
Yasujiro suddenly felt even more aggrieved, not only for himself, but to express the common thoughts of the six children back then.
For three years, they waited and waited, and had several opportunities to leave the Land of Rivers, but they gave up because they were worried that Kyojuro would not be able to find them when he came back.
It wasn't until more than half a year ago that he met the amegakure ninja who went to the Land of Rivers to purchase supplies. I heard from him that the Land of Rain was about to undergo drastic changes, and that it would be led by the "angel" herself. Then he was persuaded to come back together.
"Didn't you promise? You will definitely come..."
"I did go back, but I just didn't show up!"
Kyojuro walked a little closer, his tone seemed to coax the child.
Although the other rain ninjas were unsure of his identity, based on his appearance and Yasujiro's words, they had already made some guesses in their minds and were exchanging glances with no intention of stopping him.
It’s just that we have been guarding the gate together for a while. Although Yasujiro is young, he is very hard-working, very independent, and has far more positivity and strength than ordinary people. Now that he has suddenly become such a weirdo, they are somewhat unaccustomed to it...
Although Yasujiro is tall, his face is obviously still very childish. Although he is younger than Kyojuro at first glance, he has become a spoiled one. The object is inevitably a little weird.
Is this young boy really the "Sun of Hometown" that many people call him?
[Well, he has the momentum, but he seems to be a little too young. Is he as powerful as everyone says? ]
After hearing Kyojuro's answer, Yasujiro raised his head in confusion: "Is that so?"
"Yes. I have gone back many times!"
Kyojuro answered affirmatively: "Although I just stopped by to do other things, But I know very well that you worked hard as a postman for half a year, then joined the security team in Heli Town, and learned how to extract chakra! I also know that you saved some money part-time and helped several other children to learn basic reading and writing.! It’s because you did a great job that I left with peace of mind, because you don’t need me to do any more unnecessary things, right?”
Yasujiro finally stopped crying, the Grievance in his heart disappeared a lot.
"So you really know everything..."
Yasujiro said this, his face suddenly turned pale, "Then about Hanako's illness..."
Before parting with Kyojuro, he promised Kyojuro that he would take good care of the others. Of the six of them there was still a child who died prematurely.
"Diseases and injuries are different. Even medical ninjas don't have any good solutions!"
Kyojuro shook his head regretfully. He had dealt with that child's disease before. It was an incurable genetic disease, even if the doctor was replaced by Tsunade the child can't be saved.
Except for using his clone to come and see the child for the last time before he died, Kyojuro himself could not do anything.
"Yasujiro, you have done the best you can within your ability! Don't take things you can't solve as your own mistakes and carry them on you, understand? I think Hanako’s soul is in heaven, and she wouldn't want you to blame yourself for this!"
"..."
Yasujiro was silent for a while, his lowered head gradually lifted up, and his voice returned to its usual calmness.
"I understand! Thank you, Kyojuro!"
Yasujiro didn't feel ashamed when he saw the way the others looked at him.
But then he remembered the real thing - Kyojuro came here to meet the leader of Amegakure Village, not to reminisce with him.
Yasujiro suddenly felt a little embarrassed.
Their duty is to ensure that no outsiders enter through the gate of Amegakure Village.
After all, the murder of Sanshouo no Hanzo and the change of ownership of Amegakure Village were completely confidential.
These rain ninjas seem to be just gatekeepers, but in fact they are all die-hard loyalists of “Lady Angel", so they accepted this extremely confidential job.
The order they received was to tell everyone who tried to enter the Rain Hidden Village from here that the ninja demigod Sanshouo no Hanzo would not see any visitors. From now on, the Rain Hidden Village is closed.
As for those who use other methods - such as diving into a lake full of scary monster fish - they have no control over it.
Yasujiro's dilemma is that, first of all, he doesn't want to deceive Kyojuro.
Secondly, it is completely unreasonable for him to be the experimental subject of Sanshouo no Hanzo's son, and now he is guarding the gate of Amegakure Village. Even if he wants to deceive, he cannot be deceived.
So he struggled for a while, and finally gritted his teeth and said, "Then wait a moment, I'll go back and report."
The others looked at him in surprise, and the oldest one stretched out his hand, as if to persuade him. After all, the order they received did not include this one.
Although today's rain ninja is not as cruel as Hanzo's period, if Yasujiro does unnecessary things, he will inevitably be suspected, and he may not be able to continue to be a ninja in the future.
But fortunately, before they could speak, they saw a familiar figure floating towards them.
"Angel-sama!"
"It's Angel-sama!"
They shouted one after another. Kyojuro, who had just taken two steps, immediately stopped where he was. He opened his mouth and watched the white paper wings getting closer and closer, and finally hovered over above them, eyes cast their gaze downwards calmly and calmly.
Kyojuro glanced at these rain ninjas and found that there was no fear of the strong in their eyes when looking at the angel, but a kind of fanatical admiration. He suddenly had a rough impression of this female ninja whom he had only heard of by name.
Considering that this woman had saved Giyu's life and that she had provided him with the explosive tags used to pay for the medical expenses, he bowed slightly to her in good faith, showing sincerity.
Konan was rewarded with that friendly smile, and the memories of her time with Yahiko and Nagato suddenly came back to her. Her heartbeat stopped slightly, and a warmth and sadness filled her body at the same time.
Except for the wings that flap automatically, her body seemed to be completely frozen in mid-air, just looking at the other person quietly and condescendingly.
Seeing this smiling face and the other person's warmth that could be felt even eight meters away, many things she couldn't understand - such as the legend about the "Sun of Hometown" and the unique atmosphere of that village, seemed to be explained now.
This young and outrageous kid just stood there with a trustworthy and powerful aura that could awaken people's hope.
Isn't this what the sun gives people?
Isn’t this what the Rain Kingdom lacks most?
[He is a natural leader...]
Konan made a judgment instantly.
What Rengoku Kyojuro has is exactly what she and Nagato don't have even with great power.
The only person she had ever seen who was similar to Kyojuro was Yahiko, but even with the blessing of the friendship filter, she had to admit that this child had an advantage over Yahiko in this aspect.
[Be sure to let him join the Akatsuki organization. ]
An idea suddenly arises, and then changes quickly.
[No, that’s not right! He must be allowed to join the Hidden Rain Village. ]
[The darkness of Akatsuki is not suitable for such a radiant person! ]
This idea of the same style as Sarutobi Hiruzen came very suddenly, but it was inexplicably reasonable, as if an elephant suddenly broke into Konan's heart, and then stayed there honestly.
After having this idea, she immediately folded her wings into pieces of paper and folded them into her body, and her body slowly fell to the ground.
"I..."
When she opened her mouth for the first time, Konan's voice was a little hoarse, and she had to pause for a moment before continuing: "We finally met, but I didn't expect it would be here, Rengoku Kyojuro."
Her tone was soft and steady, completely unlike the cold and aloof person she was when she first met Giyu whose enemy and friend were unknown. She had the feeling of a diplomat who felt like a refreshing breeze. It's also a way of showing kindness.
"Yes. I heard someone say today that you were looking for me, so I rushed here immediately!"
After Rengoku Kyojuro left Konoha, he just arrived in the village today and heard about the "angel" coming, so he understood where it was. It has indeed been discovered by Amegakure Village.
After hearing that "Angel" intended to invite them to move into Amegakure Village, Kyojuro decided to come and see if the current Amegakure Village was suitable for everyone to live in.
Last time, the guy with the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths attacked him at the slightest disagreement, and the eyes came out of nowhere. No one knew if there was any new biological experiment being carried out in Amegakure Village.
For the sake of everyone's survival, Kyojuro had to ask clearly, so he rushed over immediately.
"Huh?"
But when Konan heard this, it was more than that.
"Did you come directly from that village?"
"Yes, I arrived there half an hour after you left. What a coincidence!"
Konan was silent for a moment.
Because she was worried about Nagato's health, after leaving the village, she flew back almost at full speed, faster than most birds, but also consumed more than half of her chakra.
Except for Zetsu, her speed can be said to be the fastest in the Akatsuki organization.
But according to Rengoku Kyojuro, he set off half an hour later than him, but arrived here less than five minutes later.
In addition, Nagato sensed that Rengoku Kyojuro's chakra was three times that of the last clone...
[It seems to be too powerful for his age. ]
The last time I saw such a child was three years ago...
The way she looked at Rengoku Kyojuro, in addition to the goodwill she had accumulated, she also paid more attention to him.
[At least better than Biwa Juzo. ]
But in this case, what reason would she use to win this child from "Akatsuki" to Amegakure Village?
However, she forgot that Rengoku Kyojuro never said that he came to join Akatsuki from the beginning to the end. It was just the kindness he showed that made Konan ignore this problem.
[Let Nagato meet him first. ]
Considering that Kyojuro and Yahiko have a certain similarity in temperament, she felt that she should be able to surprise Nagato. After they get along for a while and the relationship has improved a little, it will be convenient to say anything.
"Let's go, our leader wants to see you."
Let's do it without further ado.
As Konan finished speaking, hundreds of pieces of paper rushed toward her and Kyojuro's feet, and a buoyant force slowly lifted them up.
It seemed that she was planning to take Kyojuro directly back to the tower to meet Pain.
But Kyojuro's feet paused slightly, and a hot wave of air spread out, scattering the pieces of paper, but only scattered.
"Sorry!"
Kyojuro smiled apologetically, "Although it's a little sudden, I want to have a good tour of Amegakure Village. Can we walk? Of course, I will try not to waste time along the way! Please don't worry! "
He came here for inspection this time, so he came very suddenly, giving Amegakure almost no time to prepare, just to prevent the other party from concealing the true situation inside.
Although the "angel" was kind to Giyu and gave Kyojurou some basic affection and trust in her, the future of hundreds of people was related to him, so he had to be more cautious.
"..."
Konan was stunned for a moment, and finally nodded, "Okay."
If he walked faster, it would only delay him for twenty or thirty minutes at most, and maybe Pain could make more preparations.
So she turned her head and signaled the Amegakure ninja. The gate opened, revealing a long cement bridge leading directly to the island in the middle of the lake where the main body of the rain hidden village is located.
"Yasujiro, I'm going to say goodbye first! If there is a chance in the evening, I will come back to meet you!" "
“I know! Even if it's late, everyone will be waiting for you!" Yasujiro replied excitedly.
He didn't know what the "god" wanted from Kyojuro, but Konan's kindness made him feel at ease.
Kyojuro laughed and followed Konan along the bridge towards the steel jungle over there.
"Do you know that child?" Konan asked.
Kyojuro said simply: "Yes, I once had a "fate" with him! He is a very courageous young man!" "
That's it... then there will be many people in this village who have a 'fate' with you. "Yes."
Konan pointed out, and then her voice became warmer, and she made an umbrella of paper to cover the two people's heads.
"Many people here are alive because of you. As the manager of this village, I should thank you on their behalf."
"You are too polite! I just did what I could."
Kyojuro looked around and saw a very huge manta ray passing under the bridge.
When the manta ray walked away, he suddenly stood still, stared into Konan's eyes and asked, "Can I ask you a question? It might be a bit presumptuous."
"Of course." Konan looked calm on the surface, but when he said "presumptuous" With this word, she suddenly thought of a precocious little kid who once asked her about her hair.
[You can’t be more presumptuous than that kid, right? ]
"Is your ability to manipulate paper a kind of bloodline limit?"
[It is indeed not a question that someone who has just met should ask, but it is not considered presumptuous. ]
Many people have been curious about this question, so Konan has nothing to hide, "I am learning a secret technique called 'God's Paper Master's Technique'. But in terms of learning conditions, it is almost the same as Bloodline Limit." , it requires a certain genetic similarity to be able to do it. What, do you want to learn it?"
Considering that Kyojuro is just a child, Konan thinks it is normal to be interested in this kind of technique that allows people to fly.
"I have a junior who will definitely like this technique very much."
The "junior" Kyojuro said refers to Mist Hashira Tokito Muichiro. That child spends most of his time looking up at the clouds in the sky. When there are no clouds, he folds paper to pass the time and use up his excess imagination.
If Giyu can let Tokitou have such a Bloodline limit, then the relationship between the two of them will definitely improve quickly.
For the sake of Giyu's interpersonal relationship, Kyojuro was really worried.
"That's it."
Konan nodded and said casually: "If he has chakra with wind, earth, and water attributes, I can try to teach him..."
“Maybe it won't be so troublesome!"
Only then did he formally raise the presumptuous question: "Excuse me, can I have a piece of your hair?"
Konan stumbled, but fortunately the ninja's excellent balance allowed her to stop steadily.
This sudden sense of déjà vu gave her a familiar dizziness.
She slowly turned her head with some self-doubt, and when she saw those big eyes as bright as lanterns, she knew that Kyojuro was not just talking, but had raised this question very seriously.
[Could it be that my appearance or something is a bit too much to please the children? Especially a young genius like this...]
Why do two of them ask me for hair?
Suddenly, a horizontal lightning flashed in Konan's mind.
Yes!
She remembered that she had heard the name "Kyojuro" before!
Giyu, who asked her for hair last time, and the owner of the talking crow, seemed to be called "Kyojuro".
"Don't you think..."
Konan approached Kyojuro with some gaffes, and asked in a low voice: "Is it for your friend?"
“That's right!"
Kyojuro admitted frankly, and he is optimistic that he can achieve this wish.
"It's just that he doesn't know how to speak, so I am asking you on his behalf!"
“..."
[ That's right He absolutely doesn't know how to speak.]
Konan suddenly thought of the agreement she made with Giyu at that time, and quickly replaced the top layer of slightly red facial skin with white paper.
[Konan, look at what you promised the children! Why does he still remember it now?! ]
[I Can't, I can't let him continue this topic. ]
Konan made up her mind, her voice suddenly turned cold.
"Tell him to ask me for it by himself."
Konan suddenly turned her head and walked forward quickly, while Kyojuro was confused and had to speed up to keep up.
