"Pain!"
After the deafening explosion, Konan, who was controlled by Pain, was finally able to move again.
She turned over from behind her seat in horror, only to realize that she was already in a bright light.
The ten-person hall of the Akatsuki organization has become a victim of the owner's show of strength and venting of anger.
In the middle of the ruins, Pain was floating in the air three feet above the ground with a grim expression on his face. The walls above his head and in front of him were completely destroyed by Shinra Tensei.
The cold rain hit him like frozen grains of rice, and then rolled along his dark robe onto the ground full of cement debris.
The sparse sounds were connected together, as chaotic as Konan's panicked heartbeat at this moment.
"W-couldn't you..."
She followed Pain's line of sight and looked out.
The top floors of the opposite building collapsed into ruins as if they had been bombarded by a row of artillery shells. The twisted steel bars and stacked ruins were exposed to the air and washed away by the rain.
The missing Rengoku Kyojuro was probably buried in the ruins dozens of meters away, and his life or death was unknown. But based on past experience, there is a high probability that he will die.
Suddenly, a raging anger that had been absent for many years rushed out of Konan's throat like a flood.
"You killed him?!"
She still had so many questions that she didn't ask Kyojuro!
The child hit the nail on the head and pointed out the crux of the Rain Country, which she and Nagato had never thought of in nearly ten years. Therefore, she became even more convinced that "he is the hope of the Rain Country".
But she didn't expect that Pain would be so ruthless.
Pain turned his back to Konan and said nothing.
It had been a long time since he had been scolded. Nagato, who was far away in the remote control center, felt a little aggrieved, but he also had some regrets.
Because his strength had been questioned before, and because he was physically weak, Kyojuro accidentally poked at the sore spot where he was " going to die soon." He became so angry that he didn't hold back when he struck. This Shinra Tensei is even more powerful than the one he used against Kakuzu and Orochimaru before.
You know, Kakuzu had three hearts broken by him at that time, and Orochimaru was forced to use his own substitute technique upon meeting...
To be honest, Pain didn't think Kyojuro, who got Shinra Tensei at such a close distance, could survive.
However, as a god, he must never admit his mistakes.
Fortunately, this puppet body can hide his actual emotions.
Turning his back to his angry best friend, Pain said solemnly: "If he dies, then this is the fate given to him by God; if he survives, you will take care of him personally... In short, I can't let him walk out of this village. You know why."
"..."
Konan hesitated, and finally gritted her teeth and uttered: "Nagato, you couldn't have said such a thing before!"
Although they both agreed to the plan proposed by "Madara", but Konan's focus was first on the revival of the Kingdom of Rain, and then on "world peace".
Now, even if Kyojuro is not dead, he is probably already standing on the opposite side.
Konan felt overwhelmingly sad, and the pain of "killing" Yahiko came back to her.
After that, how would she tell the hundreds of children who were helped by Kyojuro like Kyojuro that the "sun of hometown" had fallen?
It was "God" who took it upon himself to shoot down the last sun in the sky...
Thinking of this, countless pieces of white paper the size of a palm poured out from behind, forming huge wings, carrying Konan to fly to the ruins on the opposite side.
When she passed by Pain, she didn't know whether she was careless or intentional. When the tail end of the wings flapped, she hit Pain hard on the back, causing the god to fall from the air and half kneel on the ground. She was silent, said nothing.
If this wasn't Yahiko's body, I'm afraid he would have suffered more than just a blow.
[Konan hasn’t been angry with me for a long time...]
Just when Pain was thinking about how to make up for it, the sound of metal collision came from the building opposite, as clearly audible as the ringing of a bell in the silent night.
Pain and Konan stopped moving at the same time and cast their eyes over in disbelief.
On the building opposite, the ruins that had been motionless just a moment ago trembled twice, and were shattered into pieces by eight golden iron chains that suddenly came out of the gap, and bounced around.
"He can also use chakra!"
Konan's eyes flashed with surprise.
Although she wasn't sure what the golden chain was, she could probably guess that it was some kind of ninja tool.
Kyojuro can easily destroy these walls, so he is definitely not as weak as she thought!
The next moment, as if to confirm her thoughts, the eight golden chains waving in the spiral were like huge propellers, completely sweeping away the outermost cement blocks.
A figure suddenly jumped out like a monkey from the spirit stone and landed on an isolated wall nearby.
Kyojuro's clothes were in tatters, his exposed chest was rising and falling slightly, there were several bloodstains of varying depths on his face and near his shoulders, and there was an obvious scratch on his forehead.
Other than that, there are no other problems.
"How is it possible?!"
On another high tower, Nagato murmured after seeing this scene. He felt lucky and shocked at the ease shown by Kyojuro.
Just a minor injury?
He even waved to Konan to reassure her!
For a moment, Nagato even made plans to replace one of the Six Paths.
But thinking about it carefully, Kyojuro is still better alive.
the other side.
[Thank you, Kurama! ]
Kyojuro thanked Kyuubi in his heart: [If you hadn’t reminded me in time, my life or death would have been uncertain now! ]
He didn't expect that except for Giyu who didn't need to form seals, there were people who could use such a powerful technique just by staring.
Fortunately, Kyuubi noticed the opponent's soaring malice in time, causing Kyojuro to react at the moment when the huge force hit his body, summoning the Adamantine Sealing Chains to protect the body's vital points, and completed the buffer when it hit the wall, otherwise this would have been impossible. It would be difficult for him to even stand up.
[It’s good to know! ]
Kyuubi, who was far away in Konoha, also breathed a sigh of relief.
[Rejoice! This guy only has the eyes of the old man, but he doesn't have the strength of the old man, otherwise how can those iron chains withstand it? While that guy is in a daze, let's run away! ]
Accordingly, the Kyuubi is the least able to withstand stimulation among all the tailed beasts, so he shouldn't be afraid of those Rinnegan eyes.
But now Kyojuro only has one percent of its chakra in his body. Kyuubi is worried that something bad will happen and it will never see this brat again, so it advises him to run away quickly.
But it never expected that Kyojuro's answer would be: [No! I can't do this! ]
Kyuubi: [Huh?! ]
Then, Kyojuro stared at Pain, with a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes.
Kyuubi sounded a little angry, like a wife who wanted to stop her husband from participating in a skydiving activity: [You don't want to challenge him, do you?! You are crazy! ]
[If I run away, the children in the village might be angry, and besides...]
Kyojuro looked down at the village, and the figure of the Kocho Sisters, the most knowledgeable among the Nine Hashira, flashed in his mind.
He could discover the problems existing in the Rain Country just by listening to Sarutobi Hiruzen talk a few words. So Kocho Shinobu, who is proficient in Orchidology (Western Studies) and Japanese studies, might be able to come up with a reasonable solution.
[Among my companions, there is a very wise junior who may be able to solve this country's problems...]
[Before that, it is inevitable to use some power to communicate with the other party on an equal footing, otherwise he will be ignore whatever I say. ]
[But, it can't be here...]
Having made a decision in his heart, Kyojuro glanced at the ruins at his feet. The air around him suddenly became distorted, and his whole person pulled out a red trajectory of burnt lake and disappeared on the spot.
It is the First Form: Unknowing Fire that can be used as a teleportation technique!
He, the authentic successor of Flame Breathing, can use this move even faster than Giyu!
In the eyes of Konan and Pain, they saw only a red light, flying back and forth between the buildings of Amegakure Village at an extremely fast speed, and disappeared in one breath.
"He is leaving Amegakure Village!"
With the same words, Konan was somewhat happy, but Pain was different.
His first thought was to prevent the leakage of information about Amegakure Village.
Just looking at Kyojuro's speed, Pain knew that it would be very difficult to catch up with him. After all, his flying speed was not fast, and there was a high probability that Konan would not listen to his orders now.
"However, that direction is-"
The direction Kyojuro left was actually completely opposite to the bridge leading to the outside world from Amegakure Village!
This means that even if he escapes from Amegakure Village, Kyojuro can only continue running through the lake, and his speed will definitely decrease!
And the most important thing is that these days, Animal Path is trying to train those powerful monsters in the water into Summoning beasts!
Therefore, it is completely his territory.
"Animal Path, be ready to intercept!"
"Asura Path, fly over with the Preta Path and Naraka Path, there's no need to save chakra!"
"Leave the Human Path behind and don't move."
In a few seconds, Nagato had already completed many tasks.
At the top of another high tower, two blue flames spurted out from the feet of Asura Path, and flew out with two other figures.
Deva Pain turned to look at Konan, and found that the latter's orange eyes were still filled with unresolved anger, and felt a little uncomfortable.
But after pondering for two seconds, he still said in a low tone: "You can't stop me."
Then Deva Pain stretched out his hand and shook it. Konan's body seemed to be pulled by an invisible hand, and moved towards him.
"I will be careful this time. Just rest for a while..."
He knocked Konan unconscious with a chop, carefully put her aside, and finally said quietly: "I'm sorry, Konan."
In the end, he still took action against his partner.
After placing Konan, the little remaining tenderness on Pain's face completely disappeared, his body floated into the air, and he chased after Kyojuro where he disappeared.
On the other side, Kyojuro had left the area of Amegakure Village and was running wildly on the lake.
He was not running away, he just knew that this battle was inevitable, but considering the destructive power of him and Pain, it was not best to fight in an inhabited place.
Due to the gloomy weather and the highly poisonous Sanshōuo that could not be resolved for many years, the entire lake surface turned purple and black, with extremely low visibility.
But Kyuubi could still feel that there were several creatures with great malice lurking under the water, following Kyojuro tightly.
[Be careful down there! ]
Kyuubi finished speaking, and four dark brown strips suddenly shot out from under the water. Kyojuro pulled out the blade from his waist and cut off the strip of meat that hit his neck with a horizontal slash. The stench Blood sprayed in all directions.
Kyojuro instinctively sensed that there was something wrong with the blood and hurriedly avoided it, but his hands and right foot were entangled by three other sticky things. The feeling on his skin was a bit disgusting! The thing was like a snake wrapped around its prey, squeezing his muscles and bones, as if it wanted to break his arms and ankles.
But Kyojuro didn't panic. His right hand holding the Blade suddenly tugged, and the originally tight strip of flesh was stretched out.
Then he swung his right arm forward vigorously, and a dense bubble immediately emerged from the invisible lake water.
Then, a huge lizard jumped up from the water, and what was wrapped around Kyojuro's arm was its tongue!
What's interesting is that this green lizard has the same eyes as Pain.
"This is what happened last time..."
Kyojuro immediately became alert when he saw the appearance of the Summoning beast.
Sure enough, the moment he tore off the lizard's tongue, Kyojuro saw a figure on the water not far away.
This was the guy he met the last time he sneaked into the Hidden Rain Village - the ninja who destroyed the carriage with a huge shuriken when they escaped from the Hidden Rain Village three years ago.
It's just that at this time, he has exactly the same eyes as Pain, and even the color of his hair is exactly the same.
"Rengoku Kyojuro, under the gaze of these eyes, you have no way to escape."
Animal Path said: "Although I don't know how you survived just now, there will be no second chance of good luck.”
"For the sake of it , For Konan's sake, I don't want to continue attacking you. Let's take it easy. "
Although his voice is different from Deva Pain's, his superior tone is exactly the same, as if he is the same person speaking with two different bodies.
[He knows what happened in Amegakure Village just now, plus this Tone and eyes...]
As Kyojuro activated his brain, the blade in his hand immediately cut off the other two tongues that bound him.
[Could it be that the two of them are actually different clones of the same person?]
[But they are different from the shadow clones. can they completely synchronize their memories without removing it?]
After having this guess, Kyojuro rushed towards the Animal path.
"...Stubborn. "
Animal Path formed a seal with his hands, and a cloud of white mist surged out of the sky - two large birds with a wingspan of more than ten meters appeared out of thin air. They flapped their wings and created a strong storm, causing water waves to stop Kyojuro from continuing to move forward. After succeeding, Immediately it rose into the sky again, out of Kyojuro's attack range, and then dived again, repeating the cycle.
And Kyuubi also noticed that more and more monsters were coming from all directions under the water!
"Let's Deal with the ones in the sky first! The sword leaps into flames! "
Kyojuro put the sword into the sheath, and when he pulled it out, the blade was already ignited by the blazing flames.
This was something he learned when he was "guiding" for the senior Uchiha in school, and it happened to be used In conjunction with the use of Flame Breathing.
"Fifth Form: Flame Tiger!" "
Kyojuro suddenly waved his blade towards the strange bird in the sky. The flames on the blade jumped out as if consciously, forming a mighty giant tiger completely composed of flames in mid-air.
"Aww--"
The giant tiger roared. With a loud sound, he stepped on the air and rushed high into the sky. Then he jumped suddenly and severely stepped on the back of a strange bird. As the latter howled miserably, the feathers all over his body were ignited by red flames. In the midst of fear and drama, Under the pain, he flew around like a headless fly, but ended up bumping into another of his own kind and falling into the lake at the same time.
"..."
Animal Path Pain's lips trembled.
Flying Summoning Beasts are really hard to find!
Fortunately, when Kyojuro was dealing with these two big birds, eight aquatic Summoning beasts had already arrived nearby - two Sanshōuo surfaced from the water, spitting out purple poisonous gas.
Then Four lizards with their tongues cut off chose to attack Kyojuro from the water at the same time, and two terrifying giant crocodiles more than ten meters long were coming towards Kyojuro with their bloody mouths open - under such a covering attack, even for Pain himself, only the Deva Path could escape the disaster by relying on the all-round Shinra Tensei.
However, two golden chains suddenly stretched out from behind Kyojuro, one on the left and one on the right, tightly entangled the mouths of the two crocodiles, and then Turning over and jumping onto the back of one of the crocodiles, he rotated the blade in a circular motion, forming a huge vortex of flames!
"Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation!" "
The fiery high-speed cyclone completely engulfed the poisonous mist spit out by the Sanshōuo. The toxins that originally covered the surrounding area were immediately condensed into a purple sphere and stopped at the center of the vortex. The sphere composed of poisonous gas was immediately ignited by flames, as if it might explode at any time.
The moment the flame vortex disappeared, Kyojuro mobilized a Adamantine Sealing Chain to wrap around the fireball, used the ability of chakra sealing to contain its explosion, and then threw it violently into the mouth of the Sanshōuo that still had its mouth wide open.
Kyojuro knew very well that the venom sac of the Sanshōuo is very easy to explode once it encounters pressure. Sure enough, the Sanshōuo, which was originally very round, bulged into a huge ball like an angry puffer fish!
And taking advantage of this opportunity, Kyojuro's whole body was covered with Adamantine Sealing Chains and he quickly jumped into the water.
The next moment, an explosion no less powerful than that of Shinra Tensei roared. The terrifying shock wave blew the beast ten meters away and forced him to fly in mid-air. It took five or six seconds before he fell headlong into the water.
At this point, he knew that the Summoning beasts he had finally collected were probably going to be wiped out.
The beasts fell into the water, and before they had time to surface, the golden-red pair of Rengoku Kyojuro's eyes had already appeared in front of him.
The former subconsciously stretched out his fist, and just as he was about to try to fight with physical skills, Kyojuro used unreasonable and terrifying force to break off his right hand, then removed his left wrist, and Only then did he hold Animal Path's neck and rush out of the water.
In the distance, the corpses of crocodiles, lizards and Sanshōuo were floating in pieces. They had obviously been destroyed in the explosion...
Animal Path glanced at his hands that could not form seals, and was extremely speechless. One of the Six Paths of Pain, facing Kyojuro alone, didn't even last a minute.
It seems that he was injured by Kyojuro's clone last time they met, which is normal.
"Don't be complacent."
Although someone was pinching his throat, Animal Path showed no pain at all. Instead, he said very calmly: "I don't expect him to be able to stop you, I just want to delay you for some time. Look up. You have no way to escape."
Suddenly, the steaming water mist caused by the explosion was cleared away by a strong wind.
The Asura Path with fire under his feet hovered directly in front of Kyojuro, and the Preta Path and Naraka Path stood five meters on either side of him, one on the left and the other on the right.
And the short-haired Deva Path Pain who is the greatest threat is not far away in the sky, and it will take about half a minute to fly here.
"The one you are holding in your hand is only mine..."
"One-sixth.”
