Uchiha Giyu chapter 81
🕑 Added 2024-01-06 04:21:18 +0000 UTCChapter 81 Target·The Kingdom of Water
The next day.
Before Giyu left, he went to Naka Shrine, placed incense sticks in front of the memorial tablets of Uchiha Flame and Uchiha Wen, and placed Tomoe-engraved stones as tributes.
"Wen...if your death is also related to Orochimaru, who likes to study Bloodlines..."
In the empty shrine hall, Giyu's cold and stiff prayers echoed.
"Please guide me so that I can capture him on this trip."
To be fair, Giyu is not the type to ask for help from the power in the dark.
But the white monster caught by Rengoku Kyojuro before was very likely the thing that followed Shisui in the Land of Rain.
Ordinary perception methods are useless against them. Only Kyojuro who used the chakra of Kyuubi used the Kagura Heart Eye to find him through malice.
In the past three years, Kyojuro has caught four in total - two in the Land of Rain and two in Konoha, but those things are not human. The interrogation by ANBU has been fruitless, and the illusion is ineffective. They can only talk about shit and shit. If the class is irrelevant, it will not contribute any useful information.
But according to what the Third Hokage said on the surface, the monster was most likely a spy created by Orochimaru. In the entire ninja world, he is probably the most likely person to do such a thing.
In addition, Orochimaru had attacked Itachi before and was very eager for the Sharingan. Therefore, Giyu reasonably speculated that the last time he cooperated with Konoha's spy to kill Flame, it was probably him and one of his experimental products equipped with Sharingan.
In addition, Itachi's blood disease, as well as the ongoing massacre of Bloodline ninjas and civilians in the Kingdom of Water, are somewhat related to this man named Orochimaru, so Giyu has included him as a secondary target for this trip.
There is a high probability that as long as Orochimaru is caught, the name of Konoha's traitor is forced out, and the evidence is obtained, the souls of Wen and Flame will be able to rest in peace.
Three years!
Giyu could see that Shisui was more eager to settle the matter and didn't take this matter too seriously.
Because this matter involved the village's spies, that is, the mysterious Roots and Shimura Danzo, Shisui even did not want to investigate further, so as not to break the still good relationship between the village and Uchiha.
Itachi was not familiar with the two deceased people and had no motive to pursue them.
Therefore, the only one left who has been chasing after him is Giyu.
"This matter should come to an end."
After saying the last sentence, Giyu turned around resolutely and walked out of the inner hall of the shrine.
In the wide yard, except for the old man who had been responsible for cleaning the shrine, only Sasuke was squatting under the tree and looking at something.
Giyu said to Sasuke: "Let's go."
"Wait a minute, look here."
Sasuke waved to him, and Giyu walked over. This was the last time he came here. There were many Tomoe sandwiched between the stone slabs. Carved place. The last time he came, there were only four pieces of Tomoe carved in the gap, but now there are only three more.
In other words, in the past three years, the people who placed sacrifices here have only come three times, and the frequency has greatly reduced.
"Why do people put sacrifices in this place?"
Sasuke asked with some confusion.
Just when Giyu wanted to say that this had nothing to do with them, he heard the old man sweeping the floor speak: "I wanted to ask the question you asked a few years ago. The seventh tribute just appeared this morning. I was sleeping in the yard next door, but I didn't hear any sound last night..."
"What a weirdo."
Sasuke muttered and stood up, "Could it be that the clansman he worshiped didn't have a spiritual place inside? Are you going?"
"Tsk, it's possible."
The old man sweeping the floor answered Sasuke's question by himself.
"There is only such a big place inside. Only clan members who have become ninjas have separate spiritual tablets. A useless old man like me will only have the name tag hanging inside after death. There is no way to enjoy the tribute alone."
"Ah? Since you are not a ninja, you have no spiritual status..."
Sasuke's face turned pale and he quickly looked at Giyu: "Then you and your brother -"
"You think too much."
Giyu comforted Sasuke speechlessly.
However, before walking out of the yard, he still awkwardly walked up to the old man sweeping the floor and said something serious, whether it was a blessing or a curse.
"If you die, I will do the same thing and pay you a tribute."
[Kyojuro said that you must consider the problem from the other person's perspective. ]
[He must be very sad knowing that there will be no tribute after his death. ]
After saying that, Giyu left the old man speechless and gasping for air, and walked away with Sasuke who slapped him in the face.
On the way home, Sasuke saw the lake outside the clan that was refilled with water, and poked Giyu's arm, "Did you do that when you went out last night?"
“Yeah." Giyu nodded. After meeting Shisui, I filled it with Water Style when I came back.
After all, children of the same clan practicing Fire Style in other places can easily cause fires. It's just a pity that all the fish inside have been cooked before, so it would be more appropriate to buy some new fish and put them in...
"It's amazing!"
Looking at the satisfied lake surface, Sasuke sincerely admired, but immediately wrinkled his nose again, said to Giyu: "But don't be complacent, even if your water style is strong, your fire style is better than mine, but I still have the innate thunder attribute chakra! Sooner or later, my thunder style will be as strong as yours!"
[They are obviously twins, so there is no reason why there is such a big gap. 】
Sasuke is confident in himself.
Thanks to the chicken soup Kyojuro had fed him for more than three years, Sasuke had almost recovered from the shock he suffered yesterday.
Because their parents and brothers had already said goodbye, the two of them did not go home and walked to the gate on the west side of Konoha together——
That is the only formal exit of the village. Whether you are going to the east or west, you must start from there.
When they arrived, Sasuke snorted, because Rengoku Kyojuro and Naruto, who had similar hair color and looked like brothers, were already waiting there, chatting eagerly.
"Oh, Giyu! Sasuke! Have you had lunch?!"
Before they could answer, Kyojuro held Naruto's shoulders and shared enthusiastically: "My lunch was at Naruto's house! Although I forgot about the name of the dish because it was too long, but I always felt it was very domineering! The taste is also very unforgettable!"
"Hehe!"
Naruto first touched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly, and then immediately came to Giyu's side, his tone a little bit Complained: "Giyu, why didn't you tell me personally that you were leaving the village?"
“Who are you?! Even me Giyu's brother, I only found out about it yesterday afternoon!"
Sasuke raised his eyebrows, He immediately attacked.
"Oh~ Then you are such a failure as a brother. Even what Giyu wants to do can only be known the day before."
Naruto narrowed his fox eyes and said sarcastically with a vague smile: "Yesterday When Kyojuro came to my house for dinner at noon, I heard him talk about this matter, a little earlier than you, my 'brother'."
Speaking of which, at lunch yesterday, both Hinata and Kyojuro were there. In his family, Hinata's sister was also a very good eater, so in the end, Naruto himself didn't have enough to eat.
However, seeing everyone enjoying the lunch he prepared, that feeling was enough to make him happy enough to take off.
Most importantly, thanks to Kyojuro's arrival, Hinata Hanabi, who was originally critical of Naruto, also agreed to his proposal to have lunch at his house with her sister every day.
Well, he just has to find a way to make some money like Kyojuro.
"Damn it! Don't think that just because you can cook is great! You act like a girl all day, let's see who will marry you in the future!" "
“Hey, didn't you scold Giyu?"
"Giyu doesn't count.! He looks almost exactly like me! He's much prettier than you, and he doesn't have to worry about finding a wife at all!"
“But since you think I'm ugly, isn't Brother Kyojuro about the same as me? It turns out you..."
"Ahhhhhh! The one with hair on his face! Shut up!"
"The one with horns on his head! I won't!"
Looking at the familiar daily operations of the two, Giyu's face was expressionless. He walked up to Kyojuro with an expression on his face, who was still smiling.
"How is it?"
Giyu asked something that only Kyojuro could understand.
"Last night, I slept with Naruto!"
Kyojuro said this after making sure that Naruto and Sasuke were chasing each other away, so as not to make Sasuke even more angry.
"One whole night, I borrowed 2% of Kurama's chakra from Naruto!"
[Huh? 】
Giyu turned his head unexpectedly: "Isn't it a bit small?"
"According to Kurama himself, 1% of it is equivalent to several elite Jonin! I use the shadow clone to call Kurama out, and it will Turn into a little fox and hide in you! This will also save a lot of chakra!"
Kyojuro calculated confidently: "Although the shadow clone will consume chakra even while talking, if you don't go out on the road, Surprisingly, this 1% is enough to last for ten days and a half! The only thing I'm worried about is..."
Speaking of this, he specially warned: "Giyu, remember what I said before, and think from each other's standpoints.! Kurama also has his own thoughts and consciousness, and is not an animal driven entirely by instinct! So you must not treat him as a demon!"
[What is a demon? 】
Kyuubi, who could hear the conversation between the two through the tailed beast chakra, turned over in confusion.
Giyu thought for a while: "If he doesn't take the initiative to hurt others, I won't do anything to him."
“That's good! Kurama will also restrain himself, right?!"
The chakra in Kyojuro's abdomen vibrated unwillingly. For a moment.
At this time, Naruto and Sasuke were scolded by the two special jonin guarding the gate for disturbing the order by chasing them in front of the gate, and came back in disgrace.
The two of them turned their heads away and looked in two completely different directions.
Kyojuro called the two of them in front of him: "Sasuke, Naruto, If I can't come back for a long time, I will write a letter to you and give you through the crow!"
"Giyu said that he will be back before school starts..."
Sasuke looked at Kyojuro steadily, with deep reluctance in his eyes, "Brother, will you be gone for a long time? I heard that you won't come to school after you go down. "
“I'm not sure yet! But I will definitely miss you!"
His eyes were alive, and he said to Naruto and Sasuke at the same time: "Don't forget to exercise during your vacation! Those who are in good health will have a lot less worries! Don't think too much about possible things, focus on reality, and live every day to the fullest! This way, I don't have to worry about you anymore!"
"Got it!" X2.
"Okay! I'm very energetic! Then let's set off, Giyu. We will be separated at the intersection ahead!"
Giyu nodded, turned around and left without saying goodbye.
"Wait a minute!"
Sasuke suddenly stopped him, took out a scroll from his pocket, and handed it to Giyu with doubtful eyes.
Giyu: "Is this?"
"There are exams after the vacation, so don't forget to review."
Sasuke said clearly seriously, but his face looked awkward for some reason, as if he was doing something bad.
"I put some of the books you often read on your bookshelf, as well as the textbooks from the previous school year! Don't take it too easy while you're on vacation!"
Giyu was a little confused. Sasuke really thought he was going to the Yo no kuni to play in the country.
[How can I have time to read...]
However, seeing Sasuke looking embarrassed and hesitant to speak, he still accepted the scroll and put it in his pocket: "I got it."
With that, he walked with Kyojuro On the way out.
After the two of them were far away, Naruto put on an indescribable expression: "It's not relaxing to go on vacation. Didn't you deliberately make him unhappy? Wait, why are you laughing so disgustingly? "
In Naruto's eyes, Sasuke was staring at Giyu with a thief smile, as if the bad guys in the movie had successfully poisoned him.
"You can't control it!"
Sasuke returned to his normal expression.
He mixed the wrapped magazine into those books so that Giyu would be able to see it as long as he opened it, and he would save himself from being discovered by his mother if he left it at home.
I hope... that men's magazine, inscribed by Jiraiya himself, highly regarded in Konoha, and even the uncles of the Konoha Guard have a copy, can correct Giyu's aesthetics!
However, when he turned his head, he saw Uzumaki Naruto's eyes were red again, and he said awkwardly: "Let's go, let's go! I'll accompany you to training. Look, it's not like Giyu won't come back..."
On the other side , after Giyu and Kyojuro walked away from each other for a while, it was finally time to separate.
"Shadow Clone Technique!"
As soon as the clone composed of nine-tailed chakra appeared, immediately turned into a palm-sized red fox, jumped to the top of Giyu's head and lay down, nothing happened. Without saying anything, he closed his eyes, looking like he was alone.
Giyu didn't care either, but Sasuke's book delivery and the previous trip to the shrine reminded him of something.
He took out a book from his bag, which was Jiraiya's "Tales of a Gutsy Ninja".
"Kyojuro, if you have a chance, help me take this book to the wilderness of the Rain Country. Let's go to the wooden house I mentioned before."
Giyu handed the book to Kyojuro's hand.
"There are three famous names in it. They were all disciples of this author. Just think of it as their spiritual tablets and put this book on it."
"I know!"
After the two of them embarked on two different paths, Kyojuro turned around again: "Giyu! Take care!"
"You too.”
