Uchiha Giyu chapter 83
🕑 Added 2024-01-08 03:41:46 +0000 UTCChapter 83 Hozuki Suigetsu (Part 1)
Hot spring hotel backyard.
The pear trees are thick with fragrance, and the moonlight is like water.
Although this hotel is in a remote corner of the food court, it is located upwind near the seaside.
Therefore, whether it is the noisy hawking noise on the street or the smell of various fried and barbecued foods, it cannot disturb the guests living inside, making it appear quiet and elegant.
The only drawback is that the treacherous boss here, like his son who is a ninja, is the type of person who pays attention to others. He specially allocated a courtyard with a "children's hot spring" to Giyu.
If an adult sits in the hot spring, he can only squat in it with his knees bent like a big dog. The size is smaller than the bathtub in Giyu's house.
But for Kyuubi, who is only the size of a palm, it is a paddling pool that can be used for backstroke repeatedly.
Kyuubi poked his pointed little head out of the hot spring, and grabbed the ice-cold drink straw placed on the edge of the "paddling pool" with his thin fangs, biting the mouth of the tube into a pit.
A mouthful of cold drink poured into the body down its throat. It half-closed its eyes and let out a happy sigh.
"Hmm! It's so comfortable!"
It was quite bitter to say it.
Before being subdued by Uchiha Madara, it had never looked down upon humans and was too lazy to try their entertainment methods.
But when he was captured by Senju Hashirama and imprisoned in the Jinchuriki's belly for more than fifty years, even breathing outside air became a luxury.
Although his traveling companion on this trip was not talkative and lackluster in character and bloodline, this was the first time in half a century that Kyuubi had come to a place so far away from Konoha.
Although it uses someone else's body, the sensory enjoyment is not false. The depression caused by thirty hours of boring travel is finally released.
It put its furry, wet head on the rocks at the edge of the hot spring and lay there for a while, but did not hear any movement in the room before slowly opening its eyes.
He hesitated for a while before shouting: "Uchiha brat! Do you want to come with me?"
[It's hard for that brat to be my mount, so just think of me as being extra merciful! Hum! Most people don't have such an honor. ]
However, there was only silence in response to Kyuubi's rare kindness.
There was no response from Giyu's direction, but there was no sign of any malice either.
[You probably didn’t ignore me on purpose. That kid...what on earth is he doing? ]
Kyuubi frowned humanely and crawled out of the hot spring. The steaming chakra on his body immediately dried his hair, making it look fluffy and soft, like a change of clothes.
He walked quietly to the room.
There, Giyu changed into looser clothes and was sitting cross-legged at the table, his head lowered and not making any sound.
As for the table, there is a map of the Kingdom of Water drawn by Konoha's reconnaissance team, but there are only a few rough places with special markings on it. The location of Kirigakure Village only has an exaggerated circle and a question mark. That is A place where Konoha ninjas have never been.
If Kyuubi hadn't observed carefully and saw that Giyu's body was rising and falling slightly at a very low frequency, it would have thought that the kid had died in some accident.
"Asleep?"
Kyuubi flicked his tail, but he wasn't surprised at all.
"After running for thirty hours, how can a mere human being bear this?"
It snorted strangely: "We ran so hard, but we still missed the boat. I came to this village and didn't enjoy it. I don't know how to run so fast. What's the point?"
As he spoke, Kyuubi synchronized the memory of the tailed beast chakra in Kyojuro's body as if he remembered something, and his expression became even more gloomy.
"It's almost the same over there! I think you might as well just tire yourself to death!"
Maybe it's because the word "death" was included in his last sentence, which touched Giyu's sensitive vocabulary. Giyu woke up leisurely and raised his head.
He looked at Kyuubi with anxious eyelids: "Have you finished soaking?"
For the first time, Kyuubi felt a little guilty in his heart for waking up Giyu.
But this feeling was immediately dispelled by its stubborn nature.
"That's all. I thought it would be very comfortable!"
it replied insincerely.
"..."
Giyu was not interested in hot springs in the first place, and even less so now.
He was silent for a while and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was now nine o'clock in the evening.
Giyu withdrew his gaze and stared at Kyuubi's stillness, which made the latter slightly twitchy. It wasn't until Kyuubi was about to bar his teeth that he asked: "Kyuubi, what else do you want to do while you are here?"
[Huh? ]
"What do you mean?"
Kyuubi looked at him suspiciously, "This doesn't seem like a question you would ask."
“I was just thinking, if it were me who had been imprisoned for more than fifty years, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere. I also want to see the outside world."
Giyu narrated calmly, thinking about Kyojuro's words before he left to let him and Kyuubi get along well.
This is what the so-called thinking from Kyuubi's point of view should be like.
"What is this?"
Kyuubi wrinkled its nose fiercely.
"Kid, are you pitying me?!"
[It's not Uchiha Madara who caused me to be like this! ]
"What's so pitiful about you?"
Giyu's answer surprised Kyuubi, and he continued to describe his thoughts.
"I just hope you can eat and play whatever you want tonight.”
"When we go out to sea tomorrow, you can either stay with me honestly or get rid of the clone.”
"I don't have the extra attention to focus on restraining you. It will only waste precious time."
“As expected, you are still the same annoying brat!"
Kyuubi snorted coldly.
"Without me, do you think you can come back from the Kingdom of Water alive? There are two of my companions in that village. Since you want my help, is there anything wrong with meeting my needs? We are originally from different sides. Just take what you need."
[Although I didn't have a good relationship with them before, these two guys have a very gentle temper. ]
"Whether I can leave alive is not my priority."
Giyu gently stroked his sleepy eyes, looking less tired than before.
"If because of your wanton behavior, I have to distract myself, causing the rescue operation to be delayed, and someone is killed, then I would rather commit suicide after this matter is over, and die to apologize."
He said very clearly. It was casual, but Kyuubi only felt a chill on his back, followed by chills all over his body.
"Tonight is a special situation. There are no ships going out to sea, so I will stay here.”
"But if you plan to go to the Kingdom of Water, you have to put away your own sensory enjoyment as the top priority like before, and interfere with it. If not you can release the clone on your own, I can't take you there. You will only become trouble. "
Kyuubi was so angry that he really wanted to die on the spot.
"Since you think I am a trouble, why are you talking about it? After tonight, do it now and expose this clone. I'm of no use to you anyway, right? Why bother?
"Aren't you going to enjoy yourself tonight? "
This time it was Giyu's turn to be confused, "Even if you have to release the shadow clone tomorrow, all the feelings and memories tonight will be brought to the original body, right? Do you want to come here in vain? It’s already here, isn’t it what you said? "
"..."
Kyuubi finally understood.
Here, it is using itself to help Giyu in exchange for the opportunity to play, so the two things are actually the same thing.
But in this kid's mind, taking him out to play and asking him to help are two independent events, and there is no exchange relationship.
I don’t know why, this kid’s words are obviously very irritating, but I am not treated as a tool, I feel warm in my heart.
[ Although he is from the same clan as that bastard, there are still some differences after all.]
"Who wants you to pretend to be kind! "
It flicked its tail, rolled its eyes, and suddenly had an idea.
"Then make a promise! Tonight, you can buy me whatever I want to eat, and you will play with me in whatever I want to play. When I get to the Kingdom of Water, my body won’t be able to feel anything I do anyway, so I’ll just follow your instructions. How about that? "
"No problem. "
Giyu agreed immediately.
"Okay! "Kyuubi excitedly swept away the papers with his tail, "Then let's go shopping now! "
One person and one fox went out together like this.
When they came to the street outside, they were all a little lucky.
Now that it was approaching late at night, half of the tourists had returned to their respective places to drink or soak in hot springs. The street was much emptier than before.
Kyuubi grabbed Giyu's hair and directed him all the way to the barbecue shop that he longed for, and ordered a grilled octopus coated with sauce.
Although the Kyuubi at the moment was only a little bigger than a palm, it was still a bottomless pit of chakra, and he easily get rid of the food.
In the next two hours, Kyuubi ordered a large number of strange-looking marine fish along the street, and took a bite of each one. It was delicious. It kept it and threw the unpalatable food to Giyu. When passing by a store selling decorations, it retaliated and bought a donkey ear card for Giyu to wear. However, when it found that Giyu was not hesitant or unhappy at all, it replaced the donkey ears with a pair of fox ears...
When they passed by a stall where people made candy, Kyuubi asked the stall owner to pinch a yellow civet cat for him.
But after getting the thing, Kyuubi did not eat the candy, but trampled the civet cat to pieces in front of the stall owner, and burst into bursts of hearty laughter, which made Giyu have to apologize.
In this way, after eating, drinking and having fun for a long time, the bright moon in the sky was gradually obscured by thick clouds.
Giyu was a little worried, fearing that the rainy day would interfere with the boat going out to sea.
Kyuubi was a little uninterested, and it knew that it was time to go back to the hotel.
"Wait! "
When passing by an alley, Kyuubi called to Giyu, and his face became serious as it lay on top of Giyu.
"Do you have anything else to buy? "
“No, this time it's something useful to you."
Kyuubi commanded arrogantly, "Go forward along this path. "
He grabbed Giyu's hair and pushed him forward, and the latter walked all the way to the end, and unexpectedly found a stall outside a souvenir shop. What was on the stall was not the specialty of Yugakure Village, but all over the ground. The characteristic weapons - kunai, shuriken, ninja sword, katana, spear and sickle, etc.
"Guest, please take a look. "
The merchants in Yugakure Village are very polite, and they don't treat him differently just because he is a child.
Giyu looked at these products carefully.
They are not the polished and newly made ones in the Konoha Ninja Tool Shop.
On the contrary, the weapons sold on the stalls are either rusty and curled, or are bent and broken. None of them are intact. At first glance, they look like they have gone through many vicissitudes of life and are weather-beaten, and they are from a certain age.
"These are also souvenirs of this village? "
Giyu asked the boss doubtfully.
Didn’t you say that this is a village that advocates peace?
"They are souvenirs, but they have nothing to do with Yugakure Village."
The owner of the store quickly introduced: "These were picked up from various famous battlefields when I traveled around the world in the past few years. They are all ninjas who died in the war. It's a relic. Some people like these kinds of objects, as if they can see what the battlefields of the past were like through them."
"That's it."
Giyu suddenly understood.
"That sword."
At this time, Kyuubi pointed at a sheathed katana with his tail.
Giyu followed its instructions, picked up the Sword, put it in front of him, and slowly unsheathed the Sword in a formal manner.
An obvious sense of ominousness came from the sword, and Giyu frowned.
"This is..."
"There is a rhinoceros... that is, the breath of the Six-Tails left on it."
Kyuubi whispered in Giyu's ear: "This sword should have injured the Six-Tails Jinchuriki, or maybe it was with the Six-Tails Jinchuriki. I have had direct contact with Six-Tails. Buy it and wait until I get to the Kingdom of Water. If I still can't contact them because of the seal, I can at least use this sword to find the Six-Tails."
Giyu slowly opened his eyes, The head said: "Thank you."
This was an unexpected surprise.
If all the Jinchuriki stayed in the village like Naruto, then Kyuubi would at least be able to find the location of Kirigakure Village through this thing.
Kyuubi didn't respond, but it was quite satisfying and its face showed a proud look on its face.
"How much does this Sword cost?"
Giyu asked the boss.
"You have really good eyesight! I picked up this Sword at the beach. It must have floated over from the direction of the Kingdom of Water."
The boss took out the blade, "Although there are some gaps on it, it is a chakra weapon after all. Generally only jounin can afford it, and the person who owns it may be one of the seven ninja swordsmen. If you want to buy it, one hundred thousand."
"Chakra weapon?"
Giyu understood, This Sword can not only be used to find the location of Kirigakure Village, but can also be used temporarily for combat. Otherwise, he can only use his hands every time he switches to Flame Breathing, and the attack range is too short.
"Then one hundred thousand ryo."
After Giyu handed over the money, he suddenly only had the last twenty thousand ryo left.
"I have to save some money for the boat trip tomorrow."
After walking out of the alley, Giyu said to Kyuubi in a negotiating tone, "I can't buy any more things."
It was clear that he had agreed to buy kyuubi everything it wanted. He didn't expect that he would change his mind so soon, and Giyu felt a little ashamed.
"Then why don't you negotiate the price?"
Kyuubi complained, then returned to lie down on top of Giyu's head.
"I just happened to be tired from playing, so let's go back."
"Thank you."
This was the second time Giyu thanked it today, and Kyuubi raised the corners of its mouth proudly.
But the next moment, it suddenly looked behind Giyu. There was an inexplicable wave of malice directed at Giyu, but because it was not serious and did not reach the point of killing, it did not remind him.
A burst of fast but light footsteps pattered behind Giyu. Soon, the man running quickly came to Giyu's side.
Kyuubi watched carefully.
It was a young man with a mouth full of tiny fangs, white hair, and short-sleeved tights.
When he passed by Giyu, he grabbed the Sword in Giyu's hand and grinned at Giyu: "Handsome guy! This Sword may belong to one of my idols! I'll take it first!"
After saying that, he turned around confidently, just run away with the Sword.
However, as Giyu stopped in place, he also stood there unable to move. The Sword in Giyu's hand didn't move at all.
"Uh..."
The white-haired boy, knowing that he was in trouble, turned his head with a smile on his face and quickly moved his hand away from Giyu's Sword.
"I said this was a misunderstanding, do you believe it or not?”
