The Kingdom of Rain.
A long-haired man with a gray face, a thin nose and high cheekbones walked into a dimly lit cave as agreed.
"Is Akatsuki's base located in a place like this? I'm really disappointed. I thought it would be in Hanzo's village." The man's voice was soft, as if he could deliver cold, moist air directly into a person's bone marrow.
He pushed back the hair that was blocking his vision in front of him, and his slender eyes were wrapped with snake-like golden vertical slits. The sharp purple eye shadow spread to the wings of his nose, strengthening the dangerous and gloomy impression he gave people.
As he walked all the way to the edge of the lake in the deepest part of the cave with disgust in his words, there was a sound of pages being blown by the wind.
"Orochimaru, there is no such thing as Hanzo's village anymore."
Konan appeared on a huge stone, folding her broad wings while correcting Orochimaru's wording.
"The demigods of the Kingdom of Rain have been executed and hung on the highest point of the village for public display. Now this country will be protected by the real gods." After saying this, the orange-haired Deva Path was caught between two flytraps and appeared one after another.
"Since we have the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths, it makes sense to use the word 'god' here."
Orochimaru looked at the young man who defeated him with just one blow. There was no respect in his eyes, only naked envy and desire.
Then his eyes focused on Konan's face for a while, and he suddenly realized: "No wonder I feel familiar, you were from that time..."
"They are dead."
Pain suddenly spoke, interrupting Orochimaru's words, his tone allowed no argument.
"Understood."
Orochimaru smiled, licked his lips, stretched out his hand and made a "confidential" gesture in front of his mouth.
"Pain, do we really need to let him join us?"
Konan hesitated after realizing that her identity was exposed. Once Orochimaru loses control and tells Jiraiya, the situation will be very troublesome.
Her orange eyes were fixed on Orochimaru, and she said coldly: "Sasori told me that he sneak attacked a Konoha Jonin who was less than fourteen years old in the Kingdom of Water, and almost died there. Maybe he was very good in the past. He is strong and has a great reputation, but he is old now and he is no different from Hanzo."
“Speaking of this, I have to defend myself."
Orochimaru reached out and wiped his face, revealing a young woman's face, and then even the voice changed into that of a woman.
"If there is any ninja in this world whose strength is not affected by age, that's Sasori of the Red Sand, who turned himself into puppets. As for the Kingdom of Water, it was not the young Jonin who defeated me. It's the famous Shunshen Shisui. At that time, my last body was already close to collapse, but now that I meet him again, it's hard to say what the outcome will be..."
“Oh, he is indeed one of the legendary sannin. He can even do such things as parasitic souls."
Zetsu let out a rueful admiration, and then said to Pain: "You personally recruited him, so you should know his strength. Although I can't trust him, I always feel that he must be able to play some special role."
"Pain, he was also involved in the destruction of this country back then!"
Konan had a completely different opinion.
He looked at her with a blank look and stopped talking. Silence filled the space, waiting for Pain to make his final decision.
"Since you have inquired about Akatsuki's information, you should know that the tailed beast is our target."
After a long time, Pain finally spoke, "You failed there, so go back there. Try to capture the three tails and come back. Only then you can prove your worth."
After saying that, he raised his hand to stop Konan who was about to speak, and looked at Zetsu: "Is Uchiha Shisui still in the Kingdom of Water?"
Zetsu replied: "They have all left the Kingdom of Water and returned to Konoha."
Pain's Rinnegan Eye looked at Orochimaru again: "If you fail again this time, you will have no excuse."
“It just so happens that I have no doubts about that legend. I'm also very interested in the perfect Jinchuriki."
Orochimaru agreed confidently, and then changed his tone.
"However, I hope to get some of Hanzo's body tissues as an advance payment for this mission."
Konan frowned, not knowing what he was planning.
"No problem."
Pain nodded and ordered: "Zetsu, give Sanshouo no Hanzo right hand to him. Then go and inform Biwa Juzo that he and Orochimaru will carry out this mission together."
“Yes."
Zetsu without further ado, he immediately retreated into the ground beneath his feet.
Seeing this scene, Orochimaru's eyes were slightly startled.
The half body of this black and white monster, its fern-like shape, and its ability to escape silently reminded him of the pot that Konoha held on his head.
[So it turns out, the monster mentioned in Danzo’s secret letter is actually a spy sent by Akatsuki to monitor various villages! 】
Considering that the Akatsuki organization’s target is the tailed beasts in each village, it seems reasonable to do so.
"Go to the pass in the northeast of the Rain Country, Orochimaru. Your temporary teammate will be waiting for you there."
After saying that, Pain turned into a ball of smoke and disappeared.
After Konan gave Orochimaru a cold look, she turned into countless pieces of paper and disappeared.
It turns out that both of them are just clones.
This place is not a base, but a meeting point.
"You are so cautious, do you think you are a god? It seems that the god of the Kingdom of Rain can only have the power of the Kingdom of Rain."
Orochimaru turned around, sarcastically, and walked out of the cave.
At the same time, in the tallest building in Amegakure Village, Konan and Deva Path, who was installing the Asura Path, both Received the memory sent back by the clone.
"Nagato! It's not time to collect tailed beasts yet. And wasn't the Fourth Mizukage controlled by Madara a long time ago?"
Since there were only two of them, Konan called Pain by his real name, eager to know the purpose for doing this.
In order to prove his identity, Madara turned the Fourth Mizukage into a puppet with the Sharingan in front of the two of them. From then on, the real Land of Blood Mist was born.
"Compared to others, Biwa Juzo is too weak."
Pain did not look back and continued to twist the wrench on Asura Path.
"Didn't he say that Kirigakure's 'Hoshigaki Kisame' will also join Akatsuki? Just in time, let him take over Biwa Juzo's position."
Konan fell silent.
Currently, she, Pain, and Zetsu are the members of the Akatsuki organization on the surface, and are the original team members.
The bounty hunters Kakuzu and Sasori were conquered by force by Pain and her respectively.
Biwa Juzo was the only one who immediately said he wanted to join after seeing the power of their battle.
But to be fair, Biwa Juzo is too conventional in every aspect.
If you want to get him to leave the organization and keep the secret secret, the only way to get him to leave the organization without taking action yourself is to let him die.
But Konan has just adapted to her current status, and she still feels a little unbearable in her heart. After all, during this period, she has been working hard to make money for the organization and has never made any mistakes.
So she thought for a while and said, "The organization is still very short of people. It's no problem to have him."
“No, I have found a new person. Although he is not strong enough now, he has huge potential."
Pain The answer surprised Konan.
"Who?"
"In the past two years, isn't there a young man with yellow hair who has been saving people's lives everywhere in the Kingdom of Rain?"
Speaking of this person, even Pain's tone became much gentler, "He tried to sneak into this place. He was discovered by Rain Tiger at Will Technique . The animal path has found him and will invite him to join Akatsuki."
The surprise that suddenly appeared in Konan's eyes was undeniable.
She has been looking for this person for more than two years, just like her, he only lives in the description of the rescued person.
The people of the Country of Rain, who like exaggerated metaphors, call him the "Sun of Hometown". This shows how influential the other party is in this country. Konan also naturally believes that the other party is a child of the Country of Rain and the hope of the future.
She knew that all Pain's visions were connected, so she quickly asked, "Did he agree?"
“No." Pain's answer made her a little nervous, "But the Animal path will knock him out and bring him back. "
“Try not to hurt him." Konan requested.
Although it was rumored that the other party had dealt with eight Amegakure jounin at the same time, Konan knew that that person would never be Pain's opponent.
"He is very strong. Even if he is injured, there will be no big problem -"
Deva Path's voice stopped suddenly, and the wrench in his hand stopped turning.
"What's wrong?" Konan asked.
Pain turned his head, with a hint of disbelief in his tone: "He's just a clone... and Animal path was injured."
“..."
After Konan was stunned for a moment, her body immediately turned into pieces of paper and flew out the window."I will go find him and I will definitely convince him!"
...
Konoha, when school is over, it is also the time of vacation for this school year.
Uchiha Itachi was wearing a Jonin uniform, standing alone outside the gate of the Ninja School in the envious eyes of a group of students.
As for Shisui, when he was strutting on the street, he was caught by Inuzuka Tsume who followed the scent. The other party said that it was time for him to repay the kindness she had given three years ago, so Shisui was dragged away without any explanation.
Presumably, he didn't resist because he was afraid that Giyu would ask him to practice dispelling illusions again.
Itachi couldn't find a specific reason for his younger brother's hobby. However, since Shisui doesn't plan to show up this time, it's up to him to help Giyu train!
In this case, you will spend more time with them.
While he was deep in thought, he suddenly heard a lively and loud "big brother!” The emotions in it are extremely full!
【It’s Sasuke’s voice! ]
Itachi didn't think much, thinking that Sasuke was calling him, and suddenly raised his head with a smile, and looked into the school -
but in the end, he saw that Sasuke was holding a camera high, looking at a group of people wearing forehead protectors. The graduates rushed over.
In the middle of nearly two dozen graduates, there was a tall yellow-haired figure surrounded by everyone.
Sasuke shouted excitedly: "Brother! I borrowed Mr. Daikoku's camera!"
His way of speaking, which ended every sentence with an exclamation point, had never seen it before at home, and he was stunned and speechless for a moment. How to deal with it? I can only watch Sasuke's every move.
"Great! Now we can take a group photo! Sasuke, I'll leave it to you to take the photo!" the yellow-haired boy shouted excitedly.
"Then let's start lining up!"
Sasuke responded loudly.
The crowd immediately dispersed and formed three lines.
Itachi could clearly see that among this group of graduates, there were Uchiha, who was naturally aloof, Hyuga, who was always pessimistic, and Inuzuka, who always seemed to smell something bad.
But at this moment, they all had sincere smiles on their faces, and together they pushed the child whom Sasuke called "big brother" into the middle of the queue.
Sasuke aimed his eyes at the small hole next to the shutter and stretched out his hand to signal: "Shout loudly after me - Umai!"
"Umai!"
The huge sound spread out, and the Ninja School was half-opened. The heavy door was completely pushed open.
Sasuke pressed the shutter, and all the expressions were frozen when he shouted the sound "ai"!
Rengoku Kyojuro walked out of the crowd, came to Sasuke's side, turned around and said, "Although everyone is about to graduate, we can still see each other! We must smile heartily like this in the future and never close our hearts.! No matter what difficulties you encounter, you must face them bravely. If you see others in trouble, you can also help them! Everyone please remember it!"
"We will Remember it!"
"Okay! Let me Say this! If anyone feels that the genin mission is boring, you can pass it on to me! I will complete the mission and only receive half of the reward! If you meet my clone outside, just say so!"
"Got it!"
"That's it! See you later!"
Kyojuro waved, but the group of graduates bowed to him.
Kyojuro was stunned for a moment, then bowed in return.
Itachi was surprised to see that many graduates had tears in their eyes when they raised their heads, as if they were reluctant to leave.
At this point, he finally found the real reason why something was wrong with the security team.
The "culprit" was not the new teacher Shisui mentioned, but a student, still a junior student.
After the graduates left, Kyojuro and Sasuke were still talking. Suddenly, he glanced in Itachi's direction with some feeling, and immediately pointed to Sasuke.
"Elder Brother!"
Sasuke's voice of surprise, and his figure rushing towards him like a puppy, finally filled Itachi's empty thoughts. At the same time, he also determined that "eldest brother" and "brother" are two completely different titles.
"Are you back? I heard that you were attacked, are you okay?"
Sasuke opened his eyes and scanned Itachi carefully.
"It's okay." Itachi gently stroked Sasuke's hair, "On the contrary, you have grown a lot after not seeing each other for a year." He was a little surprised. Today was the day when the results of the final exam of Ninja School were released, but Sasuke had no intention of showing it to him.
Didn't he do well in the exam?
Of course, he didn't ask that, but looked around: "Where's Giyu? Isn't he with you?"
"Oh, um..."
Sasuke replied: "Giyu never goes through the main entrance, he should have went for shopping. Come on!"
Itachi lowered his head slightly in disappointment, and then when Sasuke was not alert, he picked him up and put him on his shoulders.
"Then let's go home!"
"Okay!" Although Sasuke felt a little ashamed, he did not refuse. He quickly waved to Kyojuro and left with Itachi.
After Sasuke left, Kyojuro on the playground immediately became a little serious.
Because just now...
his clone that tried to sneak into Amegakure Village was eliminated.
The person who destroyed this clone was the green-haired ninja who used a giant shuriken to destroy the carriage he and Giyu were riding in three years ago.
But now the other party not only changed his hair color, but also his eyes, and the chakra on his body was also very strange.
Kyojuro raised his finger, and Mind's Eye of the Kagura spread to the entire village, immediately finding the location of Giyu's chakra.
"That's in the bookstore on the pedestrian street? Wait, wait a minute!"
Kyojuro said loudly with some curiosity, "Why is Giyu's mother hiding outside the store?”
