🕑 Added 2023-12-25 02:38:34 +0000 UTCChapter 69 Three Years (Part 1)
"I haven't been back for a whole year. I really missed it!"
At the west gate of Konoha Village, a young Uchiha man with a round nose and short hair raised his hands in the air like "praising the sun" and let out a loud sigh, which successfully attracted the attention of the two people at the gate.
"Is this voice... Uchiha Shisui?"
Hagane Kotetsu, with a bandage on his nose, poked his head out of the registration desk, "It's really him."
During the third shinobi war, the three of them had formed a temporary team to go on missions, and Shisui had a good personality, so their relationship was pretty good.
"Oh, Kotetsu, Izumo!"
Uchiha Shisui's eyes met theirs, and he immediately stopped being lively and waved friendly.
But for some reason, the two people who always teased Shisui about his personality not being very Uchiha-like, this time they just looked at each other and smiled.
Hagane Kotetsu stepped forward and patted Shisui on the shoulder enthusiastically.
"We have heard about what happened in the Kingdom of Water this time."
Kamizuki Izumo added: "You are worthy of being able to repel Orochimaru and Kirigakure ninjas. But it would be better if we caught that guy. He dares to do such a thing as spying on Hokage, we can't even think about it."
Obviously, three years ago, after carefully searching for the root cause but failing to find any evidence related to White Zetsu, Hokage identified the suspect as the same person back then. Orochimaru, who presides over wood release research.
While the two were praising, they looked behind Shisui at Itachi, who had a tuft of white hair on his forehead.
Compared with a year ago, Uchiha Itachi's eyes were less profound, and instead looked more like a normal fourteen-year-old boy. He greeted the two of them politely.
"Obviously you are on such a troublesome mission... but after a year of not seeing each other, why do you two still feel younger?"
“Places with humid climates are kinder to people's skin. Besides, I have a baby face.”
Shisui waved his hand with a smile, "Anyway, I can't wait to go to eat a local meal in Konoha, so I won't do the detailed registration this time. The group of Mist ninja who want to join Konoha are behind. The convoy is guarded by five other jounin. But you don't have to do anything. The ANBU directly under the Hokage will deal with it in a while. The two of us are just taking the first step."
"Convoy?" Hagane Kotetsu looked curiously towards the road. "How many people did you kidnap this time?"
"What do you mean by kidnapping!"
Shisui corrected righteously: "With Kirigakure's Yagura now, anyone who fails the mission will be executed. They all have no way to survive. They took the initiative to surrender. However, these people are mostly unknown characters. It is estimated that it is difficult for the village to get any important information from them, and even fewer can actually join Konoha."
“That's it..."
Kamizuki Izumo's expression became more relaxed, "When I think that guys from the 'Blood Mist' might become our partners, I feel a little numb on my spine, and I can't trust them at all."
"That will happen later. Well, the village will also strictly screen these people."
Uchiha Shisui paused, then asked: "How is it, has anything happened in the village recently?"
Giyu had written him a letter, but In his description, time in the entire world seemed to have stood still. Instead, he wrote about a bunch of things about how he had made a few friends, but none of them could reflect the situation in the village.
After listening to Shisui's question, Kamizuki Izumo and Hagane Kotetsu looked at each other in tacit understanding as before, with the corners of their mouths slightly raised, as if they had thought of something fun.
"We won't tell you this. You will understand by yourself when you go to the village and take a look."
Feeling the meaningful gazes between the two, Shisui was a little stunned.
But he could probably tell from the expressions of the two of them that even if something happened, it would definitely not be a bad thing.
"It's mysterious. Itachi, let's go. I'll treat you to a barbecue another day."
"Goodbye, seniors."
In this way, Itachi followed Shisui back to the village where he had been away for a year.
Since leaving Konoha, a place that destroyed his sense of trust, three years ago, Itachi has been carrying out reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance work around the Kingdom of Water - sometimes driving away the Kirigakure shinobi that landed on the border of Land of Yu and sometimes collecting intelligence in the land of water.
This kind of work is extremely dangerous for anyone when the opponent is the ruthless Kirigakure ninja.
However, the Byakugan and Sharingan had a natural advantage in dealing with the heavy fog in the Land of Water, which made Itachi feel very relaxed.
Before being attacked by Orochimaru this time, it would be more appropriate to say that he was on vacation rather than working.
"I came back a little early, it's only noon now."
On the main road of Konoha, the baby-faced Shisui put his hands behind his head, but his eyes were looking at the surroundings carefully.
"If you wait outside the ninja school in the afternoon, Sasuke and Giyu should be very surprised."
"Who knows?"
Itachi glanced aside, but his tone was a bit unpleasant, "Last time I came back, Sasuke was not even willing to train with me, and Giyu hangs out with you all day again."
"Why do you still remember this?"
Shisui couldn't laugh or cry, "Didn't Sasuke have an appointment with someone else? Besides, it's better for him to have friends. You should be happy. Besides, Giyu, every time I come back, he will come to me to practice breaking the illusion... It can be broken in less than a second, but he is happy to practice it over and over again. As soon as I saw him his eyes got sleepy on their own."
At this point, he paused, "Please help me coax him this time, just say that I fought against one of the legendary Sannin for you, and my eyes were very burdened. I can no longer train with him."
A trace of gloom appeared on Itachi's face, obviously thinking of something unhappy.
"I suggest you just don't show up in front of him. Besides, who can deceive him now?"
“Ah, hasn't Aunt Mikoto confiscated the book?" Shisui asked in surprise.
"He memorized it all, so what's the use of confiscating it."
Itachi found the location of the snack shop, walked over with Shisui, ordered five dango and sat down.
"My mother has always said that if she has the opportunity to go to the Kingdom of Earth in the future, she will have a good talk with the author of that book."
Shisui made a scared expression.
At this time, the harsh sound of wheels broke into the two of them, and Shisui and Itachi looked away at the same time.
A middle-aged man was hard at work pushing a crooked wooden cart with sacks piled high on top. Both the cart carrying the goods and the person pushing the cart were already overwhelmed.
Itachi looked carefully and saw that the wooden wheel had cracks, and it would break after just a few more turns.
"Tsk, it seems I have to go and help."
But as soon as Shisui stood up, there was a crunching sound from the wheel, and the cart full of goods fell to the side amidst the middle-aged man's exclamation. When the goods were about to pile up on the street, a figure wearing a guard reserve uniform suddenly fell from the roof, raising his hand to support the half that was about to fall.
Shisui and Itachi were both stunned, their eyes touching each other. Obviously, they did not expect that people from the security team would actually help the civilians of Konoha.
Judging from his height, the reserve team member was only twelve or thirteen years old, which was the age when most Uchiha clan members were most arrogant. They even looked down on ordinary ninjas, let alone civilians who lacked strength.
"It's so heavy!"
The guard member suppressed his blush and shouted to the rear: "Come quickly and help!"
"Got it!" A burst of footsteps sounded from far to near, and two more preparations jumped down from the roof. When the team members come, they are also the same age.
One of them looked at the situation and separated into two strong earth clones to share the weight of the cart.
"Where are these goods sent?"
The reserve team member who discovered the clone asked the person pushing the cart.
"Man, Man Diantang Ninja Tool Shop."
The middle-aged man wiped the sweat from his head, his eyes full of joy.
The leading reserve team member frowned, "Such a long distance, using such a broken car?"
Shisui noticed that although the young man had a questioning tone, there was no familiar arrogance in his eyes.
"Sorry, sorry, it won't happen next time."
The middle-aged man nodded and bowed, "I will make a new car when I get back!"
"Even a new cart is not allowed to haul so much cargo!"
The boy shouted loudly: "This time, The two earth clones will help you push things over. But next time something like this happens, the car and goods will be confiscated, and you will also have to pay a fine. Do you understand?"
“Yes, yes, yes, absolutely, I will never do it again."
"I hope so." The reserve team member hummed, and then called to the other two people, "Let's go."
The three of them disappeared at the corner of the street, while the two clones who were left behind were carrying the car. Under the guidance of the middle-aged man, I walked out of this street.
A strange silence remained between Uchiha Shisui and Itachi, not even noticing that the dango on the table were cold.
Abnormal! How abnormal!
It seems to make sense if only one Uchiha is warm-hearted and can put down his own pride.
But the other two joined him to help without hesitation!
"I finally understand."
After a long time, Shisui let out a long breath, "No wonder Hagane Kotetsu and Kamizuki Izumo looked like that before."
"What happened this year?"
Itachi glanced around. The people eating around listened carefully to their comments on what happened just now, but these guests didn't seem surprised. Obviously, this isn't the first time this has happened.
"I can name all the juniors just now. In terms of age, they all graduated last year."
Shisui directly bitten off a whole bunch of dango and stuffed his face into a bulging mess, but it didn't affect him at all. He said, "Did the Ninja School change a teacher? If so, he is really a powerful character..."
The person who can make Uchiha let go of their arrogance must be powerful. Konoha has not done it for many years. But they haven't come back for only a year, and the descendants of the clan have become like this, which can't help but surprise people.
After eating, Shisui suddenly became interested and transformed into himself in a police uniform, swaggering through the streets.
But unexpectedly, people on the street not only did not avoid him, but occasionally nodded to him, and some girls even directly praised him for looking cute.
"It's so new, haha, this is the first time I feel like this."
Itachi put his hand on his forehead speechlessly, but he didn't expect Shisui to become addicted to playing.
[However, it should be a good thing that the relationship with Konoha residents and Uchiha has improved...]
...
Ninja School, lunch break.
Naruto, Giyu, and Hinata, the unshakable trio once again formed a group to have lunch in the classroom.
Naruto eats Giyu's food, Giyu eats Naruto's food, and Hinata eats Naruto's food. There is not much change from three years ago.
"It's a holiday starting tomorrow!"
Naruto looked past Giyu and asked Hinata directly, "What will you do about eating during the twenty-day holiday? Will you still go out to eat a few more meals every day like last year?"
“It won't work this year."
It must be that she has developed immunity from too many conversations, and Hinata no longer stutters when talking to Naruto, at least when there is someone in between.
"Hanabi has grown up. I have to stay with her at home. I'm afraid I won't be able to go out on the street."
“Ah! Then you will have a hard time during this holiday."
Naruto's tone was full of regret.
"I'm going to wash the dishes."
Giyu stood up between the two.
"Don't go!" Naruto and Hinata said in unison.
Because as soon as Giyu left, they would be speechless, Hinata would turn into a red-faced quail and huddle in place unable to move, and Naruto would be very uncomfortable.
Giyu had no choice, his left and right sleeves were being pulled, so he could only sit down and let the sound penetrate from his left ear to his right ear, and then from his right ear to his left ear. He himself was wandering in the world, not knowing what he was thinking.
Still, staying is not without its rewards.
[Staying close to Uzumaki Naruto for one hour, the wind breathing resolution +0.01%, currently 70.42%. ]
[After spending one hour in close proximity with Hyuga Hinata, the resolution of thunder breathing increased by 0.01%, currently 52.23%. ]
Seeing Breath of Wind getting closer to reaching the full value, Giyu was extremely satisfied.
In the past three years, although the process was very difficult, he still became friends with eight people around him.
From Yamanaka Ino and Nara Shikamaru, you can brush him the moon breathing resolution.
From Akimichi Choji, Inuzuka Kiba, Naruto and Aburame Chino, the resolution of Hinata's breath can be brushed.
Coupled with the chakra attributes they were born with, and the fact that Giyu forced Sasuke to sleep next to his father at night, the results of these more than a thousand days are as follows.
[Water Breathing: 100%; Flame Breathing: 100%; Wind Breathing: 70.42%; Thunder Breathing: 52.23%; Rock Breathing: 30.88%; Sun Breathing: 60.382%; Moon Breathing: 100%. ]
Yes, after three years of unremitting efforts and thousands of experiences in cracking illusions, Giyu has brushed the resolution of Moon Breathing to 100%.
Next, as long as you master all the sword forms of the Moon Breathing, which is the introduction to the Moon Breathing, and then find a gene carrier suitable for Kocho Shinobu, You can resurrect the second hashira.
At this time, the names of almost everyone in Konoha who had purple hair or purple irises were on Giyu's list.
[Just,Who should I choose? ]
He has been thinking about this issue recently.
"Then it's settled!"
Naruto's slightly surprised voice sounded, bringing Giyu back to his senses.
He stood up and said to Hinata: "Then bring your sister to my house every noon for these twenty days! Put her in the middle, so that we can talk, and you can eat enough. Can you help me with tutoring! How about this method?"
Hinata rolled her eyes, thought for a long time and finally nodded: "I can give it a try."
Giyu looked left and right in a daze, then took the lunch boxes for three people Jumped out of his seat.
"I'll leave, you can finish talking!"
So, the only two people left in the empty classroom, Naruto looked out the window skillfully, while Hinata was in a daze with a red face.
