Uchiha Giyu Chapter 65

"This place... is really big!"
Naruto looked at the historical buildings in front of him, let out a heartfelt sigh, and jumped down from the street lamp.
It was also the central area of Konoha, and he also lived alone, but the place where Rengoku Kyojuro lived was too spacious.
Next door to him is Konoha's [Former Residence of Hokages] museum open to tourists, which was originally part of this mansion.
Naruto's house is not far from here. If you walk on the roof, you can get here in one minute, but he has never looked at this place so closely.
"This is nothing, the Uchiha clan is much bigger than this."
Across Giyu, Sasuke sarcastically said: "I really haven't seen anything!"
He said this, but his eyes were filled with emotion. Suspiciously, he scanned Naruto's body up and down. He really couldn't believe that the guy with a bruised nose and face when he left school yesterday was the same person in front of him.
[It doesn’t look injured at all...]
Sasuke thought inwardly, [Is this what Giyu meant when he said his body was as strong as Kyojuro’s?】
With this kind of physical recovery ability, how efficient it is to exercise.
Involuntarily, a trace of envy welled up in Sasuke's heart.
"Why are you always looking at me out of the corner of your eye! If you have anything to say, just say it! What are you doing secretly?"
Naruto asked Sasuke with a sideways glance over Giyu.
I don't know why, even though he knew that Sasuke was Giyu's twin brother, Naruto just didn't like this guy.
This feeling was even worse after being put down yesterday.
"Who's looking at you?!"
Sasuke said angrily, "You're the one sneaking around, right? I haven't settled the accounts with you for yesterday's sneak attack on me!"
"Can a ninja's incident be called a sneak attack? When facing the enemy, Of course it has to be unexpected! Do you understand that unexpectedness is the most important quality of a ninja!"
"Strong words!"
"Full of nonsense!"
After a short silence -
"Giyu, look at him (say something)!" x2 .
Just like that, the two of them quarreled across the street lamp-like Giyu, like two attack dogs who met on the street and wanted to compete with each other to see who was louder, so they started barking wildly.
But Giyu not only didn't stop them, but even watched all this with nostalgia until the door of the house in front of him was opened.
Carrying the broom and having some dust on his body, Rengoku Kyojuro happily walked out of the door.
"You are very energetic early in the morning, Sasuke! I heard your voice when I was on the other side of the yard!"
He first greeted Sasuke, but the latter shyly did not respond this time. It was very different from his previous attitude towards Kyojuro.
Uzumaki Naruto looked at Kyojuro strangely. He had never been so close to Kyojuro.
Previously, he had always been resentful of Kyojuro's interference with Giyu's self-introduction, so he had never had a good impression of him.
But seeing that he was so strong yesterday, but not as proud as Sasuke, I felt a little admiration in my heart.
However, Naruto's most powerful peer is still Giyu, and this has never changed.
However, now that the two of them were so close to each other, Naruto felt restless in his stomach, as if there were a swarm of bees flying around in his cavity, and his veins were crawling with bugs. But overall, this feeling is not uncomfortable.
When Kyojurou looked at Naruto with his sun-like eyes, the latter's feeling became even more obvious.
"You must be Naruto Uzumaki! I've heard of you a long time ago!"
[Heard of me, who said it? Is it someone on the street? 】
Naruto felt as if his tongue was covered with a layer of wax. He wanted to speak but was too numb to move.
"Giyu said that you are a very optimistic and strong child! I am very happy that you can come!"
Naruto breathed a sigh of relief, but did not refute Kyojuro's description of him as a "child".
"Since you are a friend of Giyu and Sasuke, then we also-"
Kyojuro's words were rarely interrupted.
"Who would be friends with such a person!" x2.
The two roared in unison like a declaration and turned their heads at the same time. One had a bulging face, while the other had his teeth chattering.
Kyojuro glanced at the two of them in a daze, and then looked at Giyu, only to find that although the latter looked expressionless, his relaxed face showed that he was actually... relieved?
After a brief silence, Kyojuro immediately reacted: "It doesn't matter whether you are or not, please come in!" Although he was very strong, Kyojuro still opened the two doors in a well-behaved manner, as if he were at his own home. Slowly pushed open, revealing the lush scenery of the yard lined with green trees.
This was the first time for Naruto to enter such a large mansion.
He walked into the courtyard first, walked around in the shade of the trees a few times, and exclaimed again: "Are you the only one living in such a big place?"
"That's true for now!" Kyojuro Said. Nodding, he stood with Giyu, but his eyes were focused on the two children.
"But, you are alone, so you must be lonely."
The envy in Naruto's eyes just flashed away, and he immediately thought of his cold little house.
"Hahahaha! Then you can come here often, so that I won't feel this way!"
Kyojuro responded with a hearty laugh. Naruto was slightly dazed, because he felt that the other person's smile was the same as his. The smile on the face, used to "comfort" the grandfather, is different, it comes from the heart.
"Besides, there is a practice field behind this courtyard!"
Kyojuro pointed from a distance, "You can come here after school! You can also quarrel like just now! Such a big place would be too deserted if there weren't any people around!"
Shizune explained that only the members of the Senju clan are allowed to enter the mourning hall. As for other places he can let anybody he likes enter.
[What do you mean it’s okay to quarrel like this just now...]
Sasuke felt that his image in Kyojuro’s heart might be skewed, and he made up his mind that he would not accept any more provocations from Naruto for the next day. Think about it. It's so childish.
Because Kyojuro's tone was too sincere, Naruto didn't even need to ask the question "Is it true?" and immediately looked at Giyu: "Giyu, will you come too?"
"Yes." Giyu nodded. He nodded and told the truth directly, "I agreed, I will come here every day and fight with Kyojuro for half an hour."
This is to help Kyojuro master the [Transparent World].
[Half, half an hour? 】
Sasuke and Naruto were both extremely surprised. They exchanged a rare tacit understanding of their eyes, as if to say "If you don't come here, it will be unjust".
Even if Giyu and Kyojuro don't teach them anything, but just demonstrate them through actual combat, there's no telling how much they can learn, so how can they not be excited.
However, Naruto was still a little embarrassed.
Faced with other people's kindness, if he can't give anything in return, he feels something is wrong. So there was no answer.
But Kyojurou is different from Giyu. He is a man who is called "all-round" by Tengen Uzui. He has high emotional intelligence and immediately saw Naruto's difficulty, so he shouted: "Go on!"
Then he threw the broom in Naruto's hand. Naruto took the broom with a confused look on his face.
"This house is right next to the museum, and of course I have to charge admission!"
Kyojuro said loudly with a smile: "If you want to come here, just help me clean it once a week! Such a big place, I'm so busy on my own!"
"No problem!" Naruto was very happy, "Do you need my help now?"
"You must really want to see what the training ground looks like! That area will be open today. I leave it to you!"
He said, looking at Giyu, "You guys go together, I have something to say to Sasuke!"
"Okay." Giyu's eyes turned to Sasuke, and he immediately became excited and left with Naruto.
"Hey, Gi..."
Sasuke stretched out his hand to hold on again, but was stopped by Kyojuro's eyes, and he stood still with a complicated expression.
"Sasuke! What's wrong with you today? Why don't you want to talk to me?!"
Kyojuro started with a straight shot, which directly hit Sasuke's sore spot.
The latter's face turned red, and Sasuke lowered his head as if possessed by Hinata, almost touching his index fingers with each other.
At this moment, Sasuke's feeling in front of Kyojuro was very strange, and it was actually somewhat similar to when he got along with Itachi.
Although he didn't say anything yet, he felt that all his thoughts were seen through by the person in front of him.
He didn't speak, and Kyojuro didn't speak either. He just looked at him with sincere eyes, which didn't change much from usual.
After a long time, maybe because he was stared at, or maybe because he couldn't bear to tell lies to Kyojuro, Sasuke still asked: "I... I am very different from you and Giyu, and I don't have the same strength as you."
“Are you still willing to be my friend?"
This is a standard way of using one's own heart to save others' belly.
But you can't blame Sasuke. Treating the weak as a burden is the standard value orientation of the Uchiha clan, where strength is paramount.
It is precisely for this reason that the police force's always condescending attitude towards law enforcement has aroused the resistance and disgust of the Konoha villagers.
Without equal power, there is no qualification to speak from a unified standard, especially among peers.
This is also the reason why Sasuke cannot face Kyojuro.
"But Sasuke! According to what you said, aren't friends just a relationship of mutual use?!"
Kyojuro walked to Sasuke's side, "But I chose to be friends with you just because I like to get along with you! And It has nothing to do with how strong you are! The value of a person is not reflected in strength alone! Even if you are an ordinary person who knows nothing, as long as you are here, I am already happy! "
Sasuke opened his mouth, as if it was difficult to understand this way of thinking.
Kyojuro knew that he didn't understand. After thinking about it, he decided to give an example: "Let's talk about Giyu! If someone breaks his limbs tomorrow, the chakra meridians all over his body will also be cut off, and he will no longer be able to use chakra. Are you going to abandon him directly, thinking that he is not qualified to be your brother anymore?!"
Just thinking about that scene, Sasuke immediately shuddered, but he still recognized the difference.
"But that's different. Giyu is my biological brother. Of course I wouldn't do such a thing. But friends are still outsiders after all..."
"There's nothing different!"
Kyojuro declared loudly : "If you encounter what I said, Sasuke, I will still not forget your existence. I will visit you every day! Talk to you! Because for me, as long as I know that you are still alive, you still exist here. In this world, I can get great comfort! As for your use and ability, it doesn’t matter at all.”
Such an example made Sasuke deeply realize the difference in thinking between the two, and he unconsciously surged in his heart. Come out with some emotion.
Because the hidden meaning behind his words was that Kyojuro looked at him no differently from the way he looked at Giyu.
"There is no need to shed tears over such a thing!"
Kyojuro's warm hand gently touched the bottom of Sasuke's eyes, "Don't think so much about everything! You are the first person I have made friends with when I came to this village. My friend, this is true! Sasuke, always keep your eyes on the reality in front of you, and never imagine any situation that will bother you before it actually happens. Remember?! This is my first and last advice to you!"
"Ugh——"
Not only did Sasuke's tears not stop, but they overflowed even more. He quickly wiped them with the heel of his palm, "I...I will remember it!"
"Very well said!" Kyojuro patted Sasuke's cheeks gently.
"As for you saying you are weak, that doesn't matter! You're going to come here every day. If there is anything you don't understand, I will teach you! Even if you can't learn, I will protect you!"
When Sasuke heard the street-conventional word "protect you", he immediately burst into laughter and said half-jokingly: "Then should I call you 'big brother'?"
Kyojuro looked up at the sky, with a serious look, "But, wouldn't your brother have any objections?!"
Sasuke didn't expect that Kyojuro actually took it seriously. He was stunned for a long time, and then started pretending to be serious.
"I call him 'brother'. This is a separate title. He probably won't object."
For a moment, he had forgotten about Itachi!
"It doesn't matter. If he objects, just come to me! I will explain it to him!" Kyojuro said loudly. "Then..."
Sasuke struggled for a while and said tentatively: "Big Brother?"
"Very good! If you feel shy, you should call more times!"
"Big Brother?"
"Stop being so questioning!"
"Big Brother!"
"That's it! That's great!"
...
In the distance, Giyu was also looking for Naruto, who was looking for a broom. Looking at Sasuke, who looked happy and called "Big Brother, Big Brother" like a magpie, he couldn't help but have a cold look on his face. "Isn't it a bit too... greasy?"
Giyu next to him, He looked at the goosebumps on the back of Naruto's neck with some embarrassment, and his heart was full of guilt.
[We agreed to find a brother for Naruto...] He turned his eyes to Sasuke, who had died for the second time but was unaware of it and Kyojuro, who was laughing up to the sky, full of doubts in his heart.
[But what is going on? What should I say when Naruto asks me?]
But what he doesn't know is that Naruto will never ask this question. Because for him, this "brother" is by his side at this moment.
