Uchiha Giyu Chapter 57
🕑 Added 2023-12-13 01:32:01 +0000 UTCChapter 57 Arrival
March 3rd, the night before the official start of classes at Ninja School.
Uchiha Fugaku looked at the two almost identical faces in front of him with complicated emotions.
Uchiha Mikoto sent her subordinates to squat at the mission release area for two days, and finally caught a long-term mission in the Fire City, which was to promote a newly released movie.
Although the mission level was only B and the pay was not high, she couldn't wait to leave and handed over her two children to Fugaku.
How could Fugaku not know the reason why his wife left?
Until the next hot topic arises, Sasuke's eye-opening incident is still the hottest topic of conversation among the ninjas in the village.
However, Fugaku was the captain of Konoha's security force and could not avoid it at all. He could only listen to this matter being spread by word to word in the village every day, and it was getting more and more outrageous.
There are even ignorant civilians in the village who don't even know what the boundaries of blood inheritance are, so they believe in the rumors that doing "certain things" can give them the Sharingan. As a result, they cause a lot of ridiculous things and are caught. Ideological education is carried out in police prisons.
After all this, the joyful thing of opening Sasuke's eyes no longer seemed so joyful.
In addition, there was another thing that bothered him -
"Giyu, this is your test paper."
Fugaku drooped the corner of his mouth and pushed a paper with a bright red "26" towards Giyu, decreeing The lines were clearer than Itachi's tear trough.
Sasuke's eyes opened wide, and then his mouth opened wide. He was stunned for three seconds before looking at Giyu, and said in disbelief: "No, it's impossible." This exclamation did not mean any gloating, he was really Very shocked.
As for the person involved, Giyu just said "Oh", looked away and said nothing.
In this exam, there were no questions related to chakra attributes, properties, and changes in form. Instead, they were all about names of people, places, and times.
It's not so much an exam as it is a quiz on "Famous Ninja Deeds", which is very enlightening.
Giyu, who had no sense of belonging to the word "ninja", naturally had no knowledge of the deeds of these Konoha heroes.
Seeing that Giyu didn't respond, Sasuke couldn't wait to pick up the paper. His dark eyes quickly scanned the questions one by one, only to find that they were all questions he knew the answers to and would never make mistakes.
Most of Giyu's paper was blank. Only one line, "Write the name of the ninja tool you know as much as possible," got full marks. His handwriting was neat and elegant, almost the same as the printed font.
But other than that, the only other points Giyu scored were multiple-choice questions. Judging from the fact that he chose the longest option, he must have been fooled.
[How could someone pass the exam like this? ]
Sasuke still only had this idea in his mind.
[Some of them just give you points?! Especially those stories that everyone knows, there is no reason to answer wrong. ]
He glanced at Giyu's face again, always feeling that Giyu did it on purpose.
[Is it because I didn’t take the exam and got zero points, so you want to be put in the same class with me? ]
Thinking about it this way, his complaints against Giyu because of the incident the day before yesterday were reduced a lot.
"I have already asked the ninja teacher who sent me the results."
Fugaku put his hands into his sleeves seriously, looking like an unhappy old man, more like a father than a clan leader than usual.
"You and the child named Uzumaki Naruto are tied for last place. The second to last child is the Akimichi family, but he is still twenty points higher than you." Hearing this, Sasuke's eyebrows suddenly rose.
Hearing the name that he "hated deeply", he felt that he might have guessed the truth of something.
Fugaku leaned forward, frowning and asked: "Giyu, what have you learned from Uchiha Shisui these days?"
Sasuke was a little frightened by his father's seriousness, and leaned back slightly, but Giyu was not moved.
"How to deal with ANBU's sword skills and illusion skills."
Giyu answered honestly.
Over at the waterfall, Shisui will hone his sword skills with Giyu in close combat, and then use genjutsu (resolution of the Moon Breathing) on Giyu according to his request.
Although Giyu spends most of his time practicing breathing techniques alone, there is no problem with this answer.
"Oh?"
[Sword skills to deal with ANBU? ]
Giyu's answer surprised Fugaku.
[It seems that Shisui, the kid, is also wary of the village. This return to the clan is not an illusion. ]
He thought for a while, driving the things that the clan leader should consider out of his mind, and planned to see to what extent Shisui had trained this child.
Giyu's actual combat level is difficult to test at home, but illusions are much more convenient for Uchiha.
Fugaku pondered for a while and said to Giyu: "Look at my eyes."
After the words fell, Fugaku's eyes immediately changed into the three tomoe Sharingan.
After the ring made of tomoe turned around, Giyu's eyes darkened and he immediately fell to one side.
Before Sasuke's exclamation could be heard, Giyu stretched out his hands to support his body while he was falling, and returned to his original posture.
He looked clear and clear, having completely broken free from the illusion, and the chaotic chakra in his brain returned to normal in an instant.
[The illusion cast by the three tomoe Sharingan can be solved in less than a second, and only a Jonin who specializes in illusion can do this. ]
Fugaku admired in his heart, but remained calm on the surface, "It seems that you are not wasting your time these days."
[As expected of my son. ]
The reason why he did not praise him directly in person was because his criticism was not over yet.
"But Giyu, while practical combat is important, the content of these cultural classes will still affect your overall score each semester." Fugaku clicked on the table, "Sasuke has no grades, so I won't talk about it for now."
" But The elders in the clan were very angry when uchiha failed to do this for the first time."
"The last time an Uchiha child was at the bottom of the ninja school, it was the child named Obito a few years ago. You have to work hard, don't follow in his footsteps. At least at the end of the first year, you have to get excellent in all subjects, so that you won't embarrass the clan! Do you understand?
" I understand." Giyu nodded.
However, knowing it does not mean that he will do it.
Giyu went to school firstly to understand how ninjas think; secondly to make friends and improve the resolution. All other factors have to be put aside. "Yeah."
Fugaku thought that Giyu meant a promise and nodded with satisfaction. Since the New Year, Giyu has never contradicted him again. This is good. I hope it can keep up. Now, he basically can't control his eldest son who is thoughtful. Now, Uchiha Shisui is completely following his lead.
I hope he can seize the opportunity while his wife is away from home, and his relationship with his two young sons can be improved to a higher level, so he will not be as harsh as usual tonight.
"Father, do you already know the results of the class placement?"
At this time, Sasuke asked with a gloomy face, not knowing what he was thinking about.
"The teacher has already told me about the class division. In the past, members of the same race as Hyuga and Uchiha would not be assigned to the same class, and it was the same this time."
Uchiha Fugaku replied: "Giyu was assigned to the Iruka class; you were assigned to the Funeno Daikoku class."
He emphasized again: "When Itachi was in the ninja school, Funeno Daikoku was his class teacher. He was a very responsible chunin. As for Iruka, he is a new teacher. The batch with the best entrance scores and the batch with the worst scores should be in his class. It is not clear what his teaching quality is. "
After saying that, Fugaku glanced at Sasuke strangely.
He thought that Sasuke would be extremely happy when he found out that he and Itachi were the same teacher, but what was going on with the boy's green and white complexion?
After a few seconds, only Sasuke gritted his teeth and asked, "Where was that Uzumaki Naruto assigned to? "
" I'm in the same class as Giyu. "
Fugaku's words made Sasuke solidify his thoughts.
His younger brother has not been talkative since he was a child, but he has always been very smart. His writing is the same as the printed one. How could he get such a score!
[It must be because He and the guy with yellow hair made an appointment to get the same score in the exam, so that they can be assigned to the same class!]
Sasuke was very sure that what he guessed was the truth.
"Dad, although indoor classes are separated, training classes are usually together, right? "
"That's right."
Sasuke clenched his fists.
[Yellow-haired one! Wait for me!]
Then, the father and son talked for a while about how to behave in school, and then planned to take a rest.
"And this is you. Mom left this to you before going to the Fire City. After you go to school, you must handle your relationship with your classmates well. Do you understand? "
Fugaku took out a book with an extremely exaggerated cover color from his side, and pushed it over with disgust in his eyes. Although he emphasized that it was left by his mother for "you", when he pushed it over, the book was mainly close to There's a little more on Giyu's side.
Giyu and Sasuke looked at it carefully, and the cover clearly said -
"Iwagakure Ninja ANBU teaches you how to read minds: Exploring body language and micro-expressions to help you decipher the truth of interpersonal relationships".
Below the cover, there is a photo of Tsuchikage Onoki with his arms folded and looking at the sky, and there is a recommendation written by him. It is not clear how well it was written. Anyway, the publisher has spent enough money for publicity.
Giyu's eyes stayed on the cover and could not be moved away for a long time.
Kyojuro's crow, Kaname, had landed on the branch facing the window of his room, waiting quietly.
...
At the same time, the Hokage's office.
"Yesterday you set off from the Land of Rivers in the morning and arrived in Konoha this evening. You guys are very fast. "
The Third Hokage sat on the sofa, stretched out his hand to signal Shizune to sit opposite to him, and pushed the dried fruits on the coffee table over with a smile. After all, they had not seen each other for several years. Shizune was dusty, her hair was still knotted, and she was very tired, But facing the Kage of a village, she still showed the best spirit to deal with it.
"Originally, I thought it was him who couldn't hold on first, but I didn't expect that it was me who held back." Shizune was a little embarrassed, "I haven't practiced anything other than medical ninjutsu for so long. I'm really ashamed. I'm not even as good as a child."
"Since Tsunade believes that he is a member of Mito-sama's clan, it is not surprising that he has such outstanding physical ability. The vitality of that clan is so strong that you can't help but to admire it. "
Third Hokage shook his head gently, "Where is he now? Didn't he come with you? "
" When passing by the outside of Danchu Street, the kid made himself very dirty in order to help a caravan rescue the horses that strayed into the swamp. "
Shizune smiled shamefully, "So I took him to Tsunade-sama's house first, let him clean up, and then I came to see you myself, and asked Hokage-sama for your forgiveness. "
"Well, there's nothing to forgive. " Such a warm-hearted child is really missed.
A red-haired figure flashed in the mind of the Third Hokage old man, "Tsunade asked you to bring him here, are you planning to let him join the village? "
As he spoke, the words "backup Jinchūriki" flashed through his mind.
Although it seemed a bit despicable to think of how to use the other person without even meeting him, but as the head of a village, he had to consider the worst case scenario.
Even if nothing happens to Naruto, as long as there is a Uzumaki clan member in the village, there will always be a guarantee against the Kyuubi.
The only thing to do is to make this child feel a sense of belonging to Konoha.
"Well, this is complicated, not that simple..."
There was no other way, Shizune had no choice but to explain everything from beginning to end about their encounter with Kyojuro and the fact that he owed tens of millions of ryō in medical expenses.
When Third Hokage heard what Kyojuro did, his eyes became brighter and brighter, he praised him again and again, and he understood what was going on.
The medical bills owed are not the important point, but with the way this child behaves, he may not be able to survive outside for long. As for whether this child wants to join the Ninja Village, Tsunade doesn't care and doesn't want to restrict it.
"So, Tsunade hopes to let the village protect this child until he grows up?" "
"That's what it means. Lady Tsunade said that you should understand the reason for her doing this."
Shizune paused, seeming to be thinking about it. How to organize your words so that you can convey Tsunade's other request tactfully.
"Also, Tsunade-sama hopes that you can give those scrolls left by Mito-sama to that child."
The scrolls she mentioned are naturally the world-famous sealing technique of Uzumaki Village.
Sure enough, after hearing this, Third Hokage's smile froze slightly, he stopped talking, and silence began to spread between the two.
Shizune became more and more nervous. When she heard Tsunade-sama talking about this matter, she felt that it was unreliable. Whoever it was as Hokage would not agree to spit out what he had eaten.
"I'm afraid I can't agree to Tsunade's request. Although it's good that these scrolls belong to Uzumaki Village too much, Mito-sama has entrusted those techniques to the village, and they are already Konoha's assets. If this child is just in, I can't do this if he stays here temporarily but doesn't work for Konoha."
The Third Hokage's answer made Shizune a little embarrassed. Did she really want to use a sentence like "Tsunade-sama will tell the secret of your crystal ball?" Come to threaten Hokage?
But immediately, Third Hokage's words changed.
"However, although the sealing technique is not good, there is nothing wrong with those secret scrolls that only the Uzumaki lineage can practice. It can be regarded as fulfilling Mito-sama's last wish. However, those things are in the secret archives room, and there are thousands of them. Wan's scrolls are all piled up there, and I can't give them to you right now. In a few days, I'll have someone find them out and hand them over to the child in person. What do you think?" Shizune certainly understood what the Third Hokage meant.
Now that he has the idea of absorbing Kyojuro to join Konoha, this kind of thing like giving favors and giving people a sense of belonging must of course be done by the Third Hokage himself.
"I will return to the Land of Rivers tomorrow and meet up with Tsunade-sama. I can only ask you for the next thing."
"You tell Tsunade, I will take care of this matter. By the way, how old is that child this year?"
The older he gets, the harder it is to convince him to feel a sense of belonging to Konoha.
"He looks like he is eight or nine years old, but after Tsunade-sama treated him, he judged that his body should be about six years old."
"Well, that's the right age, plus He doesn't know how to extract chakra yet, so there is a place just right for him, at least he won't be so lonely when he first arrives."
[It is also convenient to observe the child's temperament. ]
Third Hokage's old eyes flashed with a hint of surprise, and he called: "Kakashi."
"Yes." Kakashi opened the door and walked in from the outside, wearing an ANBU mask on his face.
"Before going to school tomorrow, tell Mr. Funeno Daikoku, the first grader, to add a child to their class."
"What's the name?"
"Oh, it's a very heroic name…"
" Rengoku Kyojuro. "
