🕑 Added 2023-12-15 01:34:00 +0000 UTCChapter 59 Day 1! (Part-2)
Ninja school encourages students to compete, so the ranking of admission scores is used to determine who introduces themselves first. There is no problem at all, but it can Stimulate students' desire to compete.
And those children who are easily frustrated and unable to cope with this kind of pressure will naturally be eliminated quickly.
Iruka asked Haruno Sakura, who had the best grades, to introduce herself first, and everyone had one minute to speak.
After freshmen spoke one after another, the first class quickly came to an end.
However, what is surprising is that the people with the highest scores, such as Haruno Sakura, Yamanaka Ino, Aburame Shino, and Hyuga Hinata, as well as the lowest scores, Inuzuka Kiba, Nara Shikamaru (who slept during the exam), and Akimichi Choji, all happened to be In the middle these three rows sit.
After the chubby Akimichi Choji completed his self-introduction, Umino Iruka lowered his head and looked at the last two names on the list. He paused for a long time before shouting: "Next, Uzumaki Naruto."
This kid is better than Any student who can affect Umino Iruka's mood more. However, among the students sitting there, only two or three saw the clues.
"It's finally my turn!"
After hearing his name, Naruto couldn't wait to stand up and whispered to Giyu in a low voice: "I will definitely let everyone remember me."
[Is there anyone who can't remember you after that day? ]
Nara Shikamaru, lying on the table, secretly complained.
Naruto stood on the podium with a bright smile, but Iruka subconsciously took a few steps back until his back unknowingly touched the blackboard, then he held his forehead and said, "Let's get started."
Iruka's tone was a little bit It's blunt, not the coaxing tone you use with other people.
He had fantasized about the scene when he faced the "demon fox" countless times, but when he actually got close to him, he was still a little at a loss. He couldn't even explain what he was feeling, it was far more complicated than simple fear or hatred.
Seeing Naruto take the stage, Giyu had no intention of writing anything down this time and just watched quietly.
Hyuga Hinata on her right said "Come on Naruto" in a very low voice, and then lowered her head. Giyu intuitively felt that he should be the only one who heard the noise.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto!"
In the Hokage's office, in front of the crystal ball, Sarutobi Hiruzen also smoked a pipe and watched carefully, wondering how Naruto would behave in front of a group of unfamiliar peers.
"I know many of you don't like me! You even secretly say I'm a monster!" At the beginning, he was poked into the sensitive thesaurus. The Third Hokage stopped lighting his cigarette, and Iruka's stiff stance became even more restrained.
Shikamaru, who was dozing off, also cast a curious look.
But Naruto, who said this, still had an unchanging smile on his face: "But it doesn't matter! I don't care at all now. What do those who don't understand me? What do they think of me? They're just idiots who believe what others say!"
Hearing that they were called idiots, many children below showed resentment and shot hostile glances at Naruto.
But right now, Naruto was recalling what Giyu had said to him the last time he was angered.
[No matter what they throw in, the water will soon return to calm after ripples appear. ]
Whenever that calm voice echoed in Naruto's mind, the annoyance and grievance caused by external stimulation would gradually disappear.
Ignoring the gaze from below the podium, Naruto began to formally introduce himself according to Iruka's format.
"My hobbies are cooking and eating delicious food; my favorite food is the Ultimate Blood Red Pepper Super Braised Sun Egg Rice Bowl, but I also like Ichiraku Ramen; the most annoying thing is staying at home alone "My favorite people are Giyu and Grandpa Hokage. Of course, and the most important thing -"
After a brief pause, Naruto declared loudly: "My dream is to become the Hokage of this village!
"Wait until I become the Hokage of the village. After becoming Hokage, I will never let what happened to me happen to any child again! "
Naruto turned around and made an OK gesture to Iruka, who was staring blankly.
"I'm done! "
Iruka was stunned for several seconds before he suddenly came to his senses and was the first to applaud. No matter what he thought, this was a fixed procedure. "Well said! Very impressive, the one with yellow hair! "
At first, the applause was sparse, but because Inuzuka Kiba, who had the puppy on his head, cheered and clapped his hands loudly, the sound became louder and louder. Many people looked at Naruto with expressions of admiration.
Even It takes courage for a child to speak his mind so boldly.
"Well, my favorite person is actually at the back. "
In the Hokage's office, Sarutobi Hiruzen gently tugged on his beard. Although his tone sounded a little sour, if you look closely at his expression, you will find that the old man is far less serious than before.
Naruto faced today Showing control over his emotions was much better than he imagined.
In addition, facing the bad treatment he encountered, Naruto's first idea was not to take revenge, but to become Hokage to change this situation. That's pretty good.
As long as he can keep this idea from going astray and grow up smoothly, the future of the village is worth looking forward to.
"The last one, Uchiha Giyu. "
Iruka closed the binder.
Third Hokage refocused his attention, wanting to hear what the child's dream was. Naruto was able to undergo such a big change in just two months, and Giyu was indispensable.
His thoughts will also affect Naruto's attitude. It's impossible not to pay attention to it.
But what is surprising is that Giyu stepped onto the podium and just said the first few words: "My name is-"
"My name is Rengoku Kyojuro ! "
The closed classroom door was suddenly pushed open by a wave of sound, and hit the wall with a loud bang. The extremely loud voice echoed in the corridor, and even the glass on the window was shaking slightly.
Except for Giyu, everyone who heard the voice was shocked.
The Third Hokage, an old man with no psychological preparation, was frightened by the sudden noise. The crystal ball fell to the ground with a clatter and rolled towards the corner of the room.
The ANBU outside the door heard the noise and thought an accident had occurred, so they quickly went in to check the situation.
Although they couldn't see the picture in the crystal ball, the sound still came out continuously.
"My favorite food is sweet potatoes! My hobby is watching well-prepared performances! There are no foods or things I hate! But I hate people who hurt others casually!"
"My dream is that everyone can live a healthy life, not die in an accident!"
The students in Iruka's class looked at Giyu like this, moving their mouths completely unaffected on the stage.
But the sound they heard came from the classroom next door. It felt like they were watching a dubbing drama that didn't match the lip sync. It was indescribably weird.
When the voice stopped, Giyu also finished his speech. Walked off the stage.
"Wait a minute, Uchiha-san."
Iruka quickly stopped him, "You haven't introduced yourself yet."
"I've already finished speaking."
Giyu turned his head, his face calm.
Shino Aburame, who was closest to the group and had some knowledge of lip reading, and Hyuga Hinata, who had good eyesight in the second row, nodded at the same time, supporting Giyu's statement. They were the only two in the class who knew exactly what Giyu said.
Iruka wanted him to say it again, but Giyu had already returned to his seat, and the class time was almost over. He had other things to say, so he could only leave it at that. After Giyu sat down, Uzumaki Naruto was immediately dissatisfied and tried to defend him: "Who spoke so loudly! I couldn't hear a word clearly..."
"It doesn't matter ." Giyu replied flatly, "It's not that important anyway."
"If so."
Hinata raised her head thoughtfully, obviously having different opinions, but Naruto was right next to her, so she couldn't say anything.
At the same time, in the next classroom.
"This Rengoku classmate... is very powerful."
The fat Funeno Daikoku pulled out the fingers that blocked his ears and said sincerely: "In the future, when I say 'louder', Rengoku, You can pretend you didn't hear it."
"I understand!" Rengoku Kyojuro immediately replied.
"Well, the voice can be a little lower."
"Is this okay?"
"Just... let's do this for now."
Funeno Daikoku wiped the sweat from his forehead and glanced at the pale-faced freshmen opposite the podium, feeling uneasy in his heart. To sympathize with him, it was no wonder that the person Hokage-sama specially greeted and added to the list was truly "extraordinary" in the literal sense.
[But with such a voice, can one really become a ninja? 】
"There are still a lot of empty seats in the classroom, please find a place to sit."
Kyojuro was sent into the class by the ANBU just now, so he completed the final self-introduction without having his own seat.
"Okay!"
Kyojuro's golden-red eyes scanned the back row like a rooster, and finally stopped on Uchiha Sasuke, who was sitting alone by the window. He knew who it was, so he smiled brightly.
[Except for his expression and hairstyle, he is almost the same as Giyu! There is a unique sense of intimacy just looking at it! 】
Sasuke suddenly trembled when he was being stared at.
[This strange guy came out of nowhere. Is he going to sit here with me? ]
Sasuke’s premonition came true.
Kyojuro stepped onto the steps, looked at the other empty tables as if they were nothing, and walked directly towards where Sasuke was.
Amid the surprised looks of all his classmates, Kyojuro sat next to Sasuke without hesitation. Although there was still a distance of more than 20 centimeters, Sasuke felt a strong aura.
A few minutes ago, Sasuke, who thought he was the strongest student in the class, was not so sure now.
[When class is over, I will change places...]
Sasuke resisted not looking at Kyojuro, he had already made a plan in his mind.
"Listen everyone."
Mizuke's voice on the podium successfully drew the students' attention back.
"In order for my and you to remember each other's names as soon as possible, please don't change seats in the first month."
Sasuke was shocked.
He felt like the whole world had turned against him since this morning.
He turned his head and glanced at Kyojuro's side face, and he was relieved when he found that the other party was also listening attentively.
"Okay, let's talk about the courses for the entire school year."
Funeno Daikoku started writing on the blackboard.
"The main courses in the first grade are to lay the foundation for being a ninja. The courses can be roughly divided into indoor and outdoor classes."
"Indoor classes include theory, mathematics, history, and language. In addition, I will also teach you The most basic common sense, such as how to extract chakra."
"The outdoor classes include physical training, taijutsu and ninja training. I will also teach you some life skills for disguise and identity. You will also go to the training ground to get to know the various animals and plants around Konoha.
He put down the chalk and looked around: "Now, students who don't know how to extract chakra, please raise your hands."
With a roar, more than half of the children raised their hands, including Rengoku Kyojuro.
Sasuke looked at the raised arms of the man next to him in disbelief. He couldn't believe that this man couldn't even use chakra.
[Is that momentum just now my imagination? 】
"Put your hands down, I already understand the situation."
Funeno Daikoku paused, his eyes became serious, "I want to make a special statement. After three months, students who are still unable to extract chakra will be forcibly removed."
Many children suddenly had panic expressions on their faces.
They only knew that if they came to school here they could become ninjas, and they had never heard of being expelled.
"Don't show such an expression. If you can't even extract chakra, which is the most basic point, you can't use ninjutsu at all, let alone become a ninja. There are three classes in the first grade, about ninety people, but When you graduate, there will be only one class left in the entire grade, with less than thirty people, not counting those who repeated the grade."
"In short, the vast majority of people in this classroom will be eliminated. You must keep this in mind so that you can successfully stay until graduation day. "
Funeno Daikoku's speaking style is not as gentle as that of Iruka who has just become a teacher, but is quite direct.
"If you don't want to be kicked out, in addition to listening carefully and practicing hard, it is also very important to ask the right people for advice. "
As soon as he finished speaking, the bell rang.
"That's it for this class, let's take a rest. "
After that, he picked up the folder and walked out.
The freshmen were in a mess, while those who could extract chakra were secretly glad and complacent. In this way, no one pays attention to the situation on Sasuke's side.
Before Sasuke could relax for a moment, Kyojuro turned his head with bright eyes.
"Hello! I am Rengoku Kyojuro! "
[I remember it very clearly! Why do you want to talk to me!]
"Uchiha Sasuke. "
Sasuke nodded lukewarmly, glanced at Kyojuro's unique hair color, and said with a sense of alienation: "I don't like people with yellow hair. "
"It doesn't matter. Everyone has different hobbies. I really appreciate your straightforward style!"
Kyojuro didn't accept the move at all, but stretched out a hand generously, "Then Uchiha Sasuke, let's be friends! "
Sasuke looked confused.
