Uchiha Giyu Chapter 40
🕑 Added 2023-11-26 01:50:01 +0000 UTCChapter 40 Escape
Giyu's shadow clone, due to the use of this abnormal Summoning technique, was completely depleted of chakra and disappeared on the spot.
The feeling of loss of strength before it was released returned to Giyu's body. Giyu groaned, and his spine bent downwards again. It might not take long before it would be broken on the spot.
But the next moment, a pair of warm arms brushed against Giyu's ears, like a jack, resisting the weight of the ceiling.
With at least half of the pressure relieved, Giyu opened his eyelids and looked into the golden-red eyes shining in the darkness, as if he saw two rising suns that had just broken through the horizon.
A familiar smell, as if the sun had touched the quilt, seeped into his mind, rejoining all the fragmented thoughts. The bloody smell in his mouth and nose quickly dissipated.
Giyu regained some of his strength and gritted his teeth.
[Did you make it? ]
The imagined loud hello did not appear.
On the contrary, Rengoku Kyojuro's first words after his resurrection were said softly and thoughtfully: "Giyu, we will talk about old times later."
"Now, please feel free to share this weight with me."
"Because of your careful preparation, this body is very strong and I can fully support it."
Unlike Giyu, whose whole body was boiling hot, he was also running the Flame Breathing Constant, but Rengoku Kyojuro's body was only at normal temperature.
Kyojuro inherited Uzumaki Naruto's unique physique, plus he had the effect of a whole year of training in Flame Breathing and Normal Breathing as soon as he was resurrected. In terms of physical strength and speed alone, he was stronger than Giyu, a well-balanced hexagonal warrior.
Giyu couldn't speak to discourage him for the time being, so he could only nod lightly.
"Then let's work hard together! Giyu!"
While Rengoku Kyojuro shouted, he suddenly exerted force.
The hot breath rushed to the ground like steam from a pressure cooker, and the powerful calves moved forward bit by bit against the heavy pressure of the ceiling.
A miracle happened.
One end of the huge stone slab began to rise slowly, making an unsettling rolling sound as it moved, causing the entire building to shake slightly. Fragmented heavy objects and gravel fell from higher places and hit the relatively complete ceiling one after another, but their weight was completely negligible compared to the stone slab itself.
"yeahhh--"
Giyu gradually straightened his knees, lifting the restriction that prevented him from moving. He reluctantly turned around and chose the same posture as Rengoku Kyojuro, using his arms to support the weight.
At this point, the unilateral acceptance has turned into a serious confrontation.
Giyu didn't expect that Rengoku Kyojuro would be so strong and free him from his helpless situation so quickly.
"Success!"
Kyojuro let out a shout of victory, this time it was truly deafening.
In other words, Giyu had been prepared a long time ago, otherwise he would have been frightened and let go.
He was silent for a while, and then said in a hoarse voice: "I'm calling you out at this time..."
"Please don't say that!"
Although he was unable to use chakra, Rengoku Kyojuro's expression looked much more relaxed than him, and he could even show a bright smile that could be seen in the dark, full of encouragement.
"I have just appeared in this world, and I feel very honored to be able to save other people's lives as I did in the past, and to be able to do this with Giyu, whom I admire!"
Giyu opened his mouth.
Being praised in front of him like this, he just felt overwhelmed.
He thought that he was still as weak as ever, and if Kyojuro had not appeared in time, he might have lost consciousness by now.
He was a little embarrassed to accept this kind of praise.
"Now, Giyu, please find a way to rest for a while and regain your strength. I will support this weight as much as possible."
"During this period, I have learned a lot about the world through you, so I also know that only you can use that energy called 'Chakra' to help everyone escape."
As he spoke, Giyu could already feel that the weight on his side seemed to be lighter.
He tilted his head and looked carefully in the dim light.
I found that Rengoku Kyojuro was not only taller and thicker than him, but also half a head taller than him. He looked about the same as an eight or nine-year-old child.
"You're talking about this period of time?"
While recreating chakra, he asked the doubts he had just had in order to distract himself from the severe pain radiating from all parts of his body.
"I have already appeared since you practiced the Flame Breathing to a Constant State, but I don't have a body yet, and I live in your spirit."
Rengoku Kyojuro answered Giyu's doubts openly and frankly.
"Every time you use Flame Breathing·Constant, I can take the opportunity to see things outside, and I can also hear your thoughts, Giyu. To this ninja world, to the village where you live and what is happening nearby I have a basic understanding of what you want me to do and how you want me to integrate into this world!"
Giyu's eyes never blinked.
[At least half of the topics I prepared before will not need to be discussed...]
"What happens after you die?"
"I met the lord's family, Miss Shinobu, Mr. Gyōmei, Mitsuri and others in the underworld. They all told me everything that happened later. Before I came to this world, I also met Mr. Sanemi. He was still As enthusiastic as ever.”
Rengoku Kyojuro's thick eyebrows were raised, and the admiration in his eyes became more intense.
"In order to kill Kibutsuji Muzan and save the world from the demon's claws, I know everything you and the Kamado boy did! I really can't use words other than admiration to describe my feelings. No matter who they are, They can’t do better! You are really great!”
Giyu turned his head away stiffly.
On the one hand, it was because Sanemi, who had thin blood, still died, and on the other hand, it was because——
[Then there is no need to talk about the other half of the topic I prepared. ]
"However, everyone felt strange that they didn't see Giyu in the underworld!"
Kyojuro was still telling the story of what happened in the afterlife "normally", not caring whether any of the children behind him woke up or how they would feel if they heard this.
"After Mr. Sanemi arrived in the underworld, he carried a sword and searched for you everywhere. He was very angry that you did not say goodbye to him before you died. Mr. Gyōmei thought that you were just embarrassed to meet us. Only Miss Shinobu and the Lord guessed that Giyu might have been reincarnated, but I didn’t expect that to be the case.”
"...Are all the people who died together?"
Giyu's voice was a little hazy, and he couldn't tell what his tone was.
"Yes, the underworld always arranges familiar people in one area."
"Then... why didn't you reincarnate?"
Giyu was a little confused.
"My lord predicted that the world will soon face a disaster more terrifying than Kibutsuji Muzan, so he hopes that we can go to a peaceful place and peaceful era. Only Mr. Sanemi heard that Miss Kanae had been reincarnated, so he couldn't wait to leave early. .”
"An era of tranquility and peace——"
Kyojuro's words seemed to ring in Giyu's mind.
As if he had been struck by lightning, his face turned even paler than before.
[Then what am I doing by resurrecting them and bringing them to this place...]
[Isn’t this world a place full of disasters? ]
At this time, Rengoku's voice sounded again.
"But being able to carry with you your original thoughts, the will and memories of your relatives and friends, extend your interrupted life, and continue to abide by your original responsibilities is a rare blessing!"
His piercing eyes slightly dispelled Giyu's self-blame.
"This is an incredible miracle, Giyu. Please don't have any worries. I chose to stay here because there is no place that needs me more than here!"
"Choose by yourself?"
"Yes! Before I had a body, I could choose to go back at any time."
Rengoku Kyojuro said loudly, "But through you, I saw so many innocent lives being brutally destroyed, and I couldn't sit idly by. This is the reason why I stay!"
"I see."
Since there is such a process to choose from, Giyu doesn't have to worry about resurrecting other people at will against their own wishes.
During the time the two of them were communicating, Giyu had already converted his little physical strength into chakra, and now it was time to think about how to get out.
"I have two ideas."
Giyu explained simply: "The first one is that I cut the ceiling in half and then moved it away."
This method is like cutting a person practicing push-ups in half. In this way, the two arms only have to bear the strength of the upper body (if he is not dead), which will be much easier.
"But there was an explosion on the upper floor here. We can't see the situation on the upper floor now. We don't know how serious it is. But when the ceiling falls, it will cause violent shocks. Maybe the floor we are on will be crushed and fall. But the next layer may cause the upper layers to collapse and bury us completely here.”
This is simple, but without knowing to what extent the upper layers have been damaged, it is likely to cause them to die faster. As for breaking the wall and causing a load-bearing imbalance, that would only be more risky.
"This approach is not feasible to ensure that all children survive."
Sure enough, Kyojuro had the same idea, "Please tell me your other method, Giyu!"
"Perhaps you understand that I have a unique vision."
Giyu's eyes glanced upward, "I can teach you how to extract chakra, and then you can use the powerful Flame Breathing sword to clear away all obstacles that may fall and hurt people."
"But the time consumed in this way is immeasurable."
The reason why Giyu said this was because his knees could no longer support him in using the complicated Water Breathing Sword Form.
In terms of explosive power, the power of the Water Breathing cannot be compared with the Flame Breathing. In addition, the flame caused by the Flame Breathing has a higher temperature than the Fire Release Ninjutsu of Giyu, which can ensure that those heavy gravel objects are completely destroyed.
Rengoku Kyojuro didn't think much and said immediately: "But Giyu, you can also use Flame Breathing."
"My body is not as strong as yours, so I can't use it at full strength, so the power may be a little lacking."
Giyu felt a little ashamed. His Flame Breathing:Constant, can only be used when he is in a waterfall.
In order to save people, every time he used Flame Breathing's sword form in the rain, he was not allowed to take a break to avoid natural energy imbalance.
"This has nothing to do with your physical strength."
The judgment given by Kyojuro surprised Giyu.
"Through this period of observation, I already know the problem. Giyu, I can help you fully unleash the full power of the Flame Breathing! This is more insurance than if I learned to extract chakra in a limited time. "
Rengoku Kyojuro said confidently: "Unlike water breathing, which requires calm thinking to be perfectly executed, flame breathing is a breathing method that requires burning one's own heart and instilling all will and emotions into it before it can be driven. If your power is not used for what you really want to do, the energy boiling in your body will naturally go uncontrolled."
"How to do it exactly?"
Giyu has one head and two heads.
"Release your pent-up feelings and let them drive the power."
Rengoku Kyojuro declared, "First of all, you must know your own mind. When running Flame Breathing, whether you say something that goes against or in compliance with your true intention, you will feel it. For example, Giyu, you really just want to be here. Can we live in this world peacefully and without any worries?"
"..."
Giyu didn't answer, but felt an uncomfortable hot feeling in his stomach.
Ever since he came to this country full of corpses, this question actually had a real answer.
Otherwise, he didn't have to worry about the lives of those homeless people. If he didn't find the bodies of Uchiha Flame and Wen when he came here, he could just turn around.
What drove him to protect those people and take away these seven children was not a moment of pity, it was an inherent responsibility.
"One cannot deceive one's own heart. You may no longer use your original name, but you will always be a Water Hashira."
Rengoku Kyojuro said loudly, "As for the Hashira, there must be something that can support it, just like what you are doing now!"
"Then, Giyu, stop deceiving yourself and say what you really want to do! What kind of desire is driving you to be trapped here with these children?"
Giyu's eyes gradually solidified as Kyojuro's passionate voice said: "I want to be like before..."
"Helping people fight against tragedies that have become a habit."
When this thought blurted out, the restlessness caused by the natural energy ceased, and the high temperature lingering on Giyu's body gradually became restrained, just like Rengoku Kyojuro himself. Those who are regarded as potential threats by Giyu become stable and smooth.
"That's it. Great!"
Rengoku loudly said with approval: "Now, Giyu! Save up this power, and then release it completely! Don't worry about it affecting these children, I will protect them!"
…
A few hundred meters away, Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Shisui, who were carrying a root ninja and leaving quickly, turned their heads at the same time.
"This fire release..."
A loud tiger roar erupted, blowing away the drizzle all over the sky. A tiger made entirely of flames broke through the roof of Fortress No. 14 and roared to the sky. The stone wall under its feet melted quickly like butter.
For some, it is a declaration of genuine engagement with the world.
But it was also an open and honest declaration of war for the large army of rain ninjas that were coming quickly.
