Uchiha Giyu Chapter 38
🕑 Added 2023-11-24 01:48:01 +0000 UTCChapter 38 Water and Fire (Part 3)
Fire snakes emerged from the ground, spiraled into the air around the homeless people, and took the lead in melting the first wave of thousands of Senbon , but this only eliminated the smallest part of the threat. ( Senbon are metal needles with a point at both ends. )
But as the air around the flames expanded rapidly due to the heat, all the thousands of Senbon that followed were rolled back and blown away.
When the flame cyclone rose to the highest point, the powerless Senbon were absorbed and gathered together, and finally they were all thrown in all directions in a semi-melted state.
The Flame Breathing, Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation is such a sword form that can defend and counterattack at the same time. It is quite effective against such all-round coverage attacks.
After the molten iron Senbon fell to the ground like flowers, wisps of white smoke rose up under the impact of the rain.
The white smoke gradually spread, and the pungent smell slowly spread, harassing the nostrils of everyone present and present.
No one can tell whether it is because the Senbon is highly poisonous or because of harmful substances in the rain.
"who is it?"
"Rebels?"
"It's Fire Release! Everyone stands in the rain!"
The rain ninjas shouted one by one, reminding each other. But due to the smoke, it was difficult to see clearly what was going on behind it.
One by one, they took out their flying scythes or ninja swords and stood ready, scanning the surrounding forest with sharp and vigilant eyes. After all, they had noticed just now that first a red trajectory flew into the crowd, and then the red trajectory surged from the ground. Flame, so the caster should hide around it.
But this thought ended when a small figure jumped out of the hazy white eyes.
"Flame Breathing·First Form: Unknowing Fire."
The small shadow disappeared in a flash, making several rain ninjas think there was something wrong with their eyes.
The next moment, a violently distorted burning air appeared in front of a rain ninja holding a mechanism umbrella without warning, which was exactly the same as the red light that had just escaped into the crowd.
"Wow!!!"
After the scream, the sound of broken bones was heard.
The entire body of the rain ninja seemed to be lifted up by a running rhinoceros, and flew out exaggeratedly. And as a ninja tool for the second round of attacks, he knocked down another rain ninja wearing a hat beside him to the ground.
The bodies of the two rolled awkwardly on the ground for more than ten times, covered with mud, and finally stopped at the feet of the rain ninja jounin, rolled his eyes and fainted.
The jounin frowned and examined intently. The first rain ninja who was attacked had a burnt black fist mark on his ribs. It was small and dazzling, but it could burn the raincoat dripping with cold water to such a degree. You can imagine how high the temperature is.
[Can you use body flicker and fire release? ]
"Clear the smoke and find him."
The jounin ordered, but his mood was still calm.
Ninjas who can use fire release are rare in the Land of Rain, but in this kind of weather, the threat of fire release ninjutsu is usually greatly reduced, and it happened to be restrained by him. The only thing you need to pay attention to is steam, smoke and other things that affect your vision.
"yes!"
The two rain ninjas opened their automatic umbrellas towards the place where the white smoke rose, and used the gusts of wind formed by the high-speed rotation of the umbrella surface to disperse the obstacles that hindered their vision.
Soon, the white smoke dissipated, and the uninvited guest who landed on the two Amegakure chunin in the blink of an eye was officially revealed.
"There's only one person."
The Jonin looked at it intently, slightly surprised.
It was a kid wearing a cyan raincoat, with his right hand shining red like lava, and wearing a rather cheerful fox mask to eliminate disasters.
Maybe it was because of the rainy day, but when the rain ninjas looked through the holes in the eyes of the mask, they only felt nothingness.
But judging from the opponent's constantly shifting neck, he was also sizing up the number and layout of the rain ninja.
The person who came was none other than Giyu, who rushed here after receiving the message from the shadow clone.
Under the mask that others could not see, his cheeks were already red, and sweat was pouring out from under the mask, but it mixed with the rain outside so that nothing could be seen.
The reason why he had to use the Flame Breathing this time was because when he arrived here, the four trap umbrellas had already been opened, and the lives of these people were really at a critical juncture. The Water Breathing did not have a Form that could instantly cross a distance of more than 20 meters. He wanted to use water to teleport, but there was no terrain.
Only the ninjutsu-formed, Flame Breathing: First Form: Unknowing Fire can do this, but the consumption is equally astonishing.
But in return, with the special power of flame breathing, he can rush into the enemy at the speed of the body flicker technique. Against ordinary characters, he can defeat the enemy with almost one blow, and this is without the use of a blade.
The only shortcoming is that the fluctuations caused by Fire Breathing's mobilization of natural energy are too strong. With Giyu's current physical fitness, it is still a bit reluctant. Even adjusting the return call will be difficult in the short term.
But it was raining now, and although the load brought by the Flame Breathing was not as weakened to the extreme as in the waterfall, at least it was not out of control.
"Still a little brat..."
The Jonin narrowed his eyes and did not let down his guard because the person was only as tall as a seven or eight-year-old child.
As we all know, in Amegakure Village, even a child who wants to meet Sanshouo no Hanzo must be carefully searched, because there has been an incident where a kid tried to assassinate Hanzo.
But as the saying goes, what is good above will be effective below. When ordinary rain ninjas heard about this incident, they had a perfect reason to "eliminate the roots" and "don't even let the children go" outside.
Judging from their experience today, this reason has become particularly strong.
"These refugees are indeed mixed up with the rebels who are resisting Hanzo-sama!"
While talking, six rain ninjas, including this jounin (four went to catch the child, two were fainted), were approaching Giyu, trying to surround him.
Giyu saw what they were thinking, turned his head, and said coldly to the homeless people behind him: "If you don't want to die, leave quickly."
There were too many of these vagrants, and he was alone.
Giyu doesn't have the confidence of Rengoku to protect everyone, so he has to clear them out before the battle breaks out.
Following his reminder, someone in the crowd immediately shouted: "Everyone, run into the woods!"
They didn't care whether Giyu was a rebel or not. They only knew that after what happened just now, if they didn't run away, there would be no hope of survival.
Even though the most common thing these people usually say is "I'll just die", at the critical moment, people all rush to escape into the dangerous rainforest.
But after a few couples hesitated, they still went together to the direction where the children usually gathered.
Giyu knew that most of these people would meet the few rain ninjas heading to the forest, so he frowned and deliberately reminded them not to take risks.
But ninjas are not arrogant demons, they will not let go of any opportunity.
Giyu's tilt of his head seemed to be a signal for the rain ninjas to launch an attack.
"Do you still have time to care about other people's lives? You won't live long as a hero in the Land of Rain."
The Jonin sneered, and the rapid wind suddenly sounded.
The two flying scythes connected to the steel ropes traced an arc, biting into Giyu's neck one from the left and one from the right, resembling the biting beaks of a bird.
"Leave him to me to deal with. Go and follow those people with two people! Don't let them escape."
"yes!"
Because he was distracted before, Giyu had no time to resist, so he could only lean up and form a bridge, letting the two sickles cross over the tip of his (mask) nose. When the hand and collision collided, a series of sparks were wiped out. An unusually fishy smell from the scythe flooded into Giyu's nose, reminding him of Shisui's reminder before leaving.
"The weapons of the rain ninja are all coated with various poisons."
It can be seen from this that the Rain Ninja had no intention of capturing him alive from the beginning to the end, just like their attitude towards these homeless people. As long as you just kill the person, everything will be fine.
[There is no need to show mercy to them. ]
The moment the jonin retracted the rope and approached him, Giyu stepped heavily on the blade of the flying scythe and flew up.
The index finger and thumb of Giyu's right hand made a small circle around his lips, aiming at the two rain ninjas who were trying to bypass him to pursue the homeless people. He spit out fist-sized flames from his mouth and quickly pursued them in a straight line. Unsurprisingly, it was a hit on the spot.
"Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique!"
He hasn't used it, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how.
The raincoats of the two ninjas were ignited by the fire, and one of them was directly hit by the ninja tool bag on his waist, detonating the poison gas bomb in it, and was directly burned into a ball of human-shaped fireworks.
Another rain ninja who stopped moving because he wanted to extinguish the flames was caught up by Giyu in two steps and slashed in the neck with the blade.
At this moment, the Jonin's flying sickle once again struck Giyu's back. Giyu ducked out of the way, but the rain ninja who was knocked unconscious by him but had not had time to fall was cut in half by the flying sickle that passed over his head.
When the Jonin saw this scene, he just blinked indifferently.
[Even my own people? ]
The blood completely dyed the disaster relief mask red, and strange emotions grew in Giyu's heart.
But just as he hurriedly dodged the blow, two other chunin came to his side, one on the left and one on the right!
"Water Release·Water Whip!"
They spit out slender ropes of water, held them in their hands, and swung towards Giyu.
Giyu rolled on the spot to avoid the attack from the right, but was whipped by the water flow from the left and caught his ankle.
"good chance!"
The white-clothed Jonin raised his eyebrows, and used steel ropes to control the two flying scythes, making them fall straight down, and The blades were about to pierce both sides of Giyu's shoulder. But Giyu's eyes were calm, he didn't even seal his seal, he just raised his head and spit out a red fireball!
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
The fireball with a diameter of more than three meters exploded out of thin air. The high temperature directly evaporated the water that made up the water whip, and the two sickles were simply blown away.
It was just a coincidence that the pair of scythes took advantage of the dazzling light and thrust brought by the fireball to move to both sides, and penetrated the bodies of the two chunin who used the water whip without any hindrance.
One of them had his chest cut open and fell to the ground dead.
Although the other one was not seriously injured, judging from his rapidly turning blue face, it only took a few minutes for him to die from the poison.
[My hand are stained with human blood. ]
Giyu has never killed a human being, although this time it was just a coincidence, but he still took away human life.
In the past, there have been people who collaborated with demons, but Giyu always twisted the other person's arm and handed it over to the police who knew about it.
Among the Nine Pillars, the only ones who can directly kill humans who are colluding with demons are Kochō Shinobu and Tengen Uzui, who appear to be friendly but are actually jealous of evil. As for Shinazugawa Sanemi, although he looks violent and impulsive, he is a person who absolutely follows the orders of the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. At most, he will seriously injure people and paralyze them.
But to be fair, although being stained with human blood made Giyu feel uncomfortable, he had no regrets.
With these few ninjas, they could take away nearly two hundred lives without hesitation. Judging from the behavior, the harm they can cause is far more serious than the demons who eat people for survival!
What's more, these people have no intention of letting him go.
He cannot regard all human lives as equally important like Rengoku.
Giyu will not show mercy to those who intend to kill him without a proper reason.
"Be careful, he can also use Konoha's fire release!"
The jounin spoke too late. The Great Fireball had not yet extinguished, and the fiery arc had already circled around him. Giyu relied on the huge impact brought by Shiranui to punch the last chunin into the tree! ( Shiranui = First Form: Unknowing Fire )
Giyu grabbed the ninja's arm and threw it back, blocking the bottle of poison that the jounin threw at him.
The bottle exploded in mid-air, and a purple mist quickly spread around, taking a while to completely dissipate.
As for the kunai and shurikens projected towards him during this period, they were naturally full of flaws in the eyes of an Uchiha. However, the other party did not expect to hurt Giyu in this way.
The jounin took this opportunity and finally completed a complex set of hand seals.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
The fourteen to five meter long water dragon spit out from the jounin's mouth and rushed towards Giyu at the speed of a torrent.
But Giyu's eyes were full of doubts, because when he just saw the flying hand seals, he thought it was some extraordinary ninjutsu, so he was already prepared to deal with it with all his strength.
But he never expected that it was actually the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Jutsu with only three hand signs on the Second Hokage's Water Release Ninjutsu scroll. He also knows this technique.
"This is the water release ninjutsu of a great nation. Let me see how you hide!"
The jounin announced loudly, as if this was something to be very proud of.
After all, this seemingly gorgeous technique was taught to him by Sanshouo no Hanzo himself!
After a brief moment of shock, Giyu faced the ferocious water dragon bullet that was less than two meters away from him. His right fist was like a bright lantern. He suddenly stepped on the ground and jumped up high, aiming downwards at the dragon head that was pursuing him - —
"Fifth Form: Flame Tiger!"
"Roar--"
Accompanied by the terrifying roar of a tiger, a majestic flaming giant arm appeared out of thin air. Its thick tiger claws directly crushed the water dragon's head, and a big hole was made in the ground below.
Giyu landed and gasped heavily.
With his mastery of Flame Breathing, he couldn't even use this move completely, otherwise it would be another large-scale move with destructive power comparable to Water Breathing:Tenth Form: Constant Flux.
[Damn! He can use fire release without using seals! ]
The jounin finally saw the clues this time, and he thought it was another blood inheritance limit that he had never seen before.
[I have to run away quickly! ]
He didn't wait for Giyu to counterattack, and immediately threw two kunai at the place where the water dragon was destroyed. After each kunai, there is a whole series of yellow tags.
The Explosive Tags of the Rain Ninja are homemade. Although it is less powerful, the cost is also lower. Once used, many of them will explode in a chain. This was also an important weapon for the Rain Ninja to avoid complete failure in the first two ninja wars.
In the huge air waves and smoke caused by more than twenty Explosive Tags,The jonin turned around and ran away without even looking at the result.
If it was a blood successor ninja, it would make sense if he was not his opponent, and he believes that his superiors would understand.
But before he could run a few steps, the familiar dragon roar suddenly sounded.
While running at high speed, the jounin turned around with a horrified face, only to find that a water dragon that was much more exaggerated than before had opened its bloody mouth!
The water dragon swallowed him in one gulp, and threw him towards the ground like a worm burrowing into the ground. He threw the jounin heavily to the ground, and the bones of his limbs were smashed on the spot.
Giyu, who had adjusted his breathing method to water breathing, walked out of the smoke and dust, crushed the disaster relief mask that had been cracked by the Explosive Tags, and looked silently at the bloody battlefield.
Strictly speaking, this was his first battle in this world. He didn't expect that there would be so many casualties, and only three people were still breathing.
[Now is not the time to sigh. ]
Rain ninjas' act of kidnapping reminded him of a possibility.
He created a shadow clone and went to find the last four rain ninjas left in the forest. But he himself came to the jounin with a cold face.
"Tell me, where are you going to take those children?"
