Uchiha Giyu Chapter 37
🕑 Added 2023-11-23 01:50:00 +0000 UTCChapter 37 Water and Fire (Part 2)
In the Kingdom of Rain, in ruins on the highlands.
The masked man who killed Uchiha Flame was taking advantage of the rare sunset to sit on the great wall of the city, with an abyss beneath his feet.
The only part of his body that could touch the sun was his right eye, which was not covered by the mask. The fiery sunset and the scarlet Sharingan, these two red beads of similar colors are reflecting each other. After all, sinking the world into night is their common goal.
"You are really leisurely."
A shadow appeared on the ground behind the masked man, and the strange man wrapped in a green flytrap emerged from the ground, making almost no movement, just like a sweet potato growing out of thin air from the ground.
This weirdo's body is divided into black and white, with one side looking less human than the other.
The white face on the left half of his face had a lively expression, and he greeted the masked man in a somewhat flirtatious tone.
"Do you want to know who we met at Sanshouo no Hanzo's hiding place? He was such an unexpected guy, and he really scared me."
"Don't be pretentious."
The masked man tilted his head and spoke coldly, as if resisting a troublesome parent.
"Why, could it be that Nagato couldn't hold back his hatred before those puppets were completed? If so, then Madara... we thought too highly of him before."
"It's not him. He is still busy collecting his own puppets. The selection process is very picky. It seems that the corpses must meet some unique conditions before they can enter his eyes."
What made the sound this time was the expressionless black part on the left side of the weirdo's face.
His voice is steadier and darker, and he comes out when he has something clever to say.
"We are talking about your clan, the famous Shisui the Teleporter."
Upon hearing this, the masked man suddenly turned around, and his legs straddling the outside of the city wall passed directly through the wall.
"He is searching everywhere outside Sanshouo no Hanzo's hiding place, as leisurely as if he were at home."
Although he could never see his expression, he knew very well that the face under the mask was definitely frowning.
"Did you do anything unnecessary when you went to harvest that Sharingan?"
Black Zetsu asked pitifully, "Otherwise, according to Konoha's arrangements, he should be on his way to patrol the Kingdom of Water. How could he appear here?"
The masked man was stunned for a moment, and couldn't help but think of the blood splattered on the hem of his clothes when Uchiha Flame died.
After all, that was the first time he killed a clansman, but afterwards, he had already used his right eye to release airflow to increase the intensity of the fire (refer to Fire Release: Storm Dance). He should not have left even a trace of evidence, But he didn't expect that he was being tracked.
But then I thought about it, maybe this wasn't the reason why Uchiha Shisui came here.
So he simply denied it and said, "Why didn't you reveal something when you went to deliver something to Danzo Shimura?"
"I just gave him another reason to exterminate the Uchiha without showing up in front of anyone."
He never said what he had given specifically, and then immediately changed the subject: "Forget it, it's meaningless to talk about this now. After all, Nagato's eyes are not his own, and two of the six puppets have not found the right one yet." As a carrier, if Uchiha Shisui accidentally bumps into him and discovers where his true body is, Nagato may not necessarily be his opponent, and he will also question his own 'god' ability. Therefore, we have to find a way to make Uchiha Shisui leave the Kingdom of Rain immediately..."
"Or just kill him right here, so you don't have to bother those stupid old and weak people in Konoha."
The masked man's voice was cold and annoyed, "This was part of our plan anyway."
[Rely on you? ]
Black Zetsu was speechless. During the third war, he watched Uchiha Shisui open the Mangekyō with his own eyes.
Although Uchiha Shisui has not really used those eyes and exposed the ability of the Mangekyo until now, But thinking about it, he knows that it should be related to his illusion. Even if the masked man has the ability to become insubstantial, it is still unknown whether he can be immune to the illusion of the Mangekyo while in the insubstantial state, so he must not take any risks.
"Is it possible to let Amegakure discover him and get rid of him with Sanshouo no Hanzo's hand?"
The masked man makes a seemingly reasonable offer.
"Sanshouo no Hanzo's will and chakra are not as good as before. He is already exhausted just to deal with the rebellion. He may not be able to deal with the genjutsu of the Sharingan."
Black Zetsu immediately rejected the masked man's idea.
"Besides, killing the 'ninja demigod' so that Nagato can firmly consider himself a 'god' is an important part of the plan. We'd better not destroy it."
[This won't work, that won't work either...]
The masked man's tone became increasingly irritable, gradually revealing his true age, "What do you think I should do?"
[He is so impatient...]
Black Zetsu secretly cursed, but he also gave an idea openly.
"As far as I know, Sanshouo no Hanzo's son is secretly conducting experiments on transplanting the black Sanshōuo's venom sacs, so he is arresting young people everywhere in the Land of Rain. Even Hanzo himself doesn't know about this."
"Are they trying to create a second demigod?"
The masked man shook his head disdainfully, "It's really fantastic. Even if the transplant is successful, he will die in a few years."
"This has nothing to do with us, but this matter can just be used..."
Black Zetsu stated his thoughts, "Since Uchiha Shisui may be chasing the death of that clansman, then we will find the murderer for him."
"You mean..."
The masked man roughly understood what Black Zetsu meant.
"Give me your clan member, and I will go to the Land of Rain to find a few ninjas or children with other blood successors, disguise their corpses as if they have been experimented on, and then guide Uchiha Shisui 'successfully' Find them. In this way, all the suspicions will be placed on the son of Sanshouo no Hanzo. There is no need for Uchiha Shisui to explore everywhere in the Land of Rain."
"Does he believe that Rain Ninja has the ability to kidnap people from the heart of the Fire Country?"
"That's an innocent man. Chasing the murderer is not his real purpose. Maintaining the false peace between Konoha and Uchiha is what he has always wanted most."
Black Zetsu replied confidently, "Since there is ready evidence that can prove that the death of Uchiha Flame has nothing to do with Konoha, thus easing the conflict between the two, he is probably still wishing that these things were done by the rain ninja. It's just that As a result, our plan to exterminate Uchiha through provocation will have to be postponed for a while."
"If we don't kill him first, this will never be completed!"
The masked man's voice was rough as if squeezed out from between his teeth.
Then he threw a scroll, and Black Zetsu caught it steadily in his hand.
The corpse of Uchiha Flame was probably among them.
"Other things should be considered in the long term. Do what you want. I don't expect that just by killing one Uchiha, they will be driven to a dead end."
"as you wish."
Absolutely fell into the ground again.
Before disappearing, the white half of his face evoked a mocking sneer.
at the same time.
"Northwest direction..."
After leaving the fifth settlement he could find, Giyu marked an arrow on the map.
That was what he learned from those children, the whereabouts of the so-called "angels".
Before he separated from Shisui, he received the task of exploring the activities of this flying ninja.
"Although flying cannot avoid Byakugan detection, accidents will inevitably occur."
This was the reason Shisui gave him, "Since the other party is suspected of going to the Land of Fire, and has the ability to take away Uchiha Flame, there is nothing wrong with investigating. You don't want to give up anything that can find out the whereabouts of Flame. Maybe?"
So, in order not to give up "any possibility", Giyu separated from Shisui and went all the way north to find the settlement where homeless people lived in the Land of Rain, and inquired about the whereabouts of the "angel".
But the more stories he heard about "Angel", the more he felt that the other person didn't look like the person who took away Uchiha Flame.
First of all, the other party rarely appears in front of adults, but most children have seen him, and they still spread the story among themselves that the "Savior of the Rain Country" is about to come.
According to the children, angels wear black robes and have huge wings that obscure their faces, but they always appear when they need help and giving them food is just one of the ways they provide help.
There was once a child who fell off a cliff and was carried back to safety by a white paper crane, and the angel happened to be not far away.
The children took apart the origami cranes and the food-delivered origami, and inside there was a prophetic story——
The general idea is: the suffering of the Kingdom of Rain is about to end, and God will save everyone, so don’t give up the chance of survival easily, the future of the Kingdom of Rain depends on them.
It sounds like they are trying to keep these children alive.
However, the papers melted quickly once they were taken apart, so the children had no evidence.
Adults have never seen angels, and they can only think of them as children's collective imagination. Over time, the story of angels has become a secret that only the children of the Land of Rain understand.
That is to say, Giyu had a childish face and a somewhat intimidating hard expression, so he managed to find out these details.
"Just a kind-hearted ninja who likes to take care of children."
Giyu followed the direction pointed by these children. He did not find the "angel", but he found one new settlement after another, usually ranging from twenty to fifty people. These people are neither rebels nor ninjas, they are just ordinary people surviving together on the edge of the rainforest, usually with their families.
[It seems that this "angel" is deliberately looking for surviving people. ]
Although they haven't met yet, Giyu doesn't know whether the other party is related to Flame's death, but judging from the details known so far, the other party is at least a person who is willing to lend a helping hand to the weak.
[Still continue——]
His thoughts were interrupted.
A shadow clone he sent to find other settlements suddenly resolved itself.
Just to the north, there is a large settlement of more than two hundred people, which is definitely considered rare among the rare. It's just that this large settlement was surrounded by a twelve-man rain ninja force not long ago. With Rain Ninja's behavior, these ordinary people are likely to be in danger.
Giyu frowned and immediately dispelled all the shadow clones outside.
While recreating chakra in his body, he quickly rushed in that direction.
At this time, he didn't even realize that he didn't ask why he wanted to go there at all. These people obviously had nothing to do with him. Just the idea that "someone might die" broke into his thinking in the form of intuition, and his body had already started to act consciously.
Whether this imprinted habit comes with breathing or has already penetrated deep into his soul, I am afraid even he himself cannot tell.
…
north.
"I told you, I'm taking your children away to train them to become ninjas!"
The leader of the rain ninja was a jounin wearing a pale white diving suit.
He took off his gas mask, stepped on the back of the strongest man in the colony - who was kneeling on the ground with a bruised nose and face, supporting all the weight with trembling hands - and loudly announced the reasons for taking all the children away.
"This matter is beneficial to the country of rain, but it is beneficial to you. I can't figure out what's wrong with you!"
"If your child becomes a rain ninja, your status will also increase. You can all live together in the rain hidden village, and you no longer have to worry about the harassment of the rebels. Isn't this a great thing?"
Most of the residents in this settlement looked at the rain ninja with suspicion, but soon lowered their heads under the cold gazes of the other rain ninjas.
The man who stepped on was their nominal leader. He was a ninja before, but he was knocked down in less than five seconds. There was no point in their resistance.
However, many of these homeless people were still moved by the rain ninja, and their eyes started to roll. They had had enough of picking up mushrooms and berries at the edge of the rainforest.
"I ask again, except for these children, where have the other children gone?"
The jounin's eyes swept across the homeless people's faces one by one, and suddenly added, "As long as they can become ninjas, in addition to their parents and family members, people who now take the initiative to tell their location can also live in Amegakure Village! "
Upon hearing this promise, those without children immediately became excited!
"I know!"
A bearded man took the lead in squeezing out of the crowd amid the angry looks of his companions, "There are still a dozen children playing in the open space over there in the forest. Sometimes they set traps to catch some animals."
"very good."
The jounin raised his chin, and the four chunin in black oilcloth raincoats immediately disappeared and rushed into the forest at high speed. Less than two minutes later, a loud whistle came from over there, indicating that someone had indeed been found.
The informer licked his lips and said excitedly: "Ninja-sama, my name is Takeuchi, please don't forget me."
"certainly."
Before putting on the gas mask, the Jonin forced out a cold smile and said, "Being able to take away all the brats here without leaving the ground saves us a lot of effort. It's much better than the last settlement."
Just when Takeuchi thought he could leave with these ninjas and head to the Hidden Rain Village, the Jonin turned around indifferently and gave an order to the other ninjas.
"The children had been captured. In order to prevent these people from holding grudges and joining the rebels in the future, disrupting the order of the Kingdom of Rain, clean them all up!"
"yes!"
Amidst the drastic changes in the expressions of the group of people, four rain ninjas wearing bamboo hats threw the black umbrellas in their hands into the air, forming four corners to surround everyone.
"Ninja technique: Senbon Rain!"
Those umbrella covers suddenly opened and rotated at high speed, spraying out steel needles as thin as toothpicks and as long as index fingers. They looked dark and there were at least tens of thousands of them, covering all directions without any blind spots.
Just when these homeless people who had just lost their children were about to lose their lives again, a fierce red light escaped from the distance, and a terrifying flame tornado appeared from the ground without warning, winding around like a long red snake. Around them, steel needles that were close at hand were involved, turning into drops of molten iron that fell to the ground.
"Flame Breathing·Fourth Form..."
" Blooming Flame Undulation!"
