Uchiha Giyu Chapter 35

"Here."
Kuromaru circled a place, about thirty meters away from the center of the explosion.
"In addition to the skin tissue, there are also fibers from the jounin's vest that fell off in this place. He must have fallen here for a while after being attacked, so the smell was left in such a wide range."
Then, Kuromaru squatted down, twitched his nose and sniffed carefully, conducting a more precise screening.
"The person you are looking for must have suffered serious trauma, but the amount of bleeding was very small."
The implication is that the possibility of Uchiha Flame being alive is slightly greater.
Giyu glanced at the ground, turned back and cast his gaze to the entire row of broken and blackened tree trunks ahead.
"If Uchiha Flame fell here, then these trees would not be burned, but broken by his body..."
This can explain why the fracture surface of this row of trees is very different from the rest and looks a bit rough.
The end of this row of trees happens to be the beginning of the dried up muddy riverbed.
"The ninjutsu that drove Cui and Gan away was not used by the enemy, but by Uchiha Flame to drive them away from the battlefield. After that, he was attacked there and broke a whole row of trees. Fall here."
In this way, the connections between these battlefield elements will not be broken.
After detailed analysis, part of the scene that night seemed to have appeared in front of Giyu.
"Indeed, Uchiha Flame's earth release level is not bad, and his chakra amount is indeed enough to release such a large-scale earth flow river."
Uchiha Shisui nodded.
"If this technique is his handiwork, then according to Cui, the time from the time when the fireball lit up to when they were washed away was less than ten seconds. In other words, less than ten seconds after the battle started, Uchiha Flame has concluded that the other party is an enemy that he cannot deal with."
At this point, he and Inuzuka Tsume exchanged a look with each other.
They probably already know what kind of character it is that can make a proud Uchiha jounin "give up resistance" within ten seconds.
At this time, there was another tight inhalation sound from Kuromaru's side.
"Hey, you discovered something again, don't hide it from others!"
Inuzuka Tsume thrust her head over and urged roughly.
"here."
Kuromaru glanced at her silently with one eye, then waved his right paw gently, an invisible breeze pushed away the surrounding ashes, revealing a gray-brown stone buried in the soil, and then buried its head again .
"There is powder on the surface of this stone that has been ground by fingernails. It must have been scratched repeatedly.
"In addition, there is a faint smell of blood, which should come from underneath. I could smell it just after the ashes were cleaned..."
As he spoke, it wanted to dig out the stone with its claws.
"Let me."
Uchiha Shisui handed out his ninja sword, and the sharp blade immediately pried into the gap between the stone and the ground, with almost no resistance.
"The stone was already loose."
He frowned, "It should be that when Uchiha Flame fell here, he did something to it, such as leaving some password or something..."
With a click, the flat stone, no bigger than the palm of your hand, rolled out.
Inuzuka Tsume squatted down, turned the stone over, and his hoarse voice suddenly rose, "There is blood on it!"
Everyone looked intently.
On the bottom of the stone, someone used brown blood to draw an irregular, trembling circle. There is also a dot drawn inside the edge of the circle.
exactly--
Giyu and Shisui realized at the same time that the dot was actually tomoe with a faint little tail.
"Senior Tsume."
Shisui immediately raised his head and said, "Thanks to you and Kuromaru, we have finally found the complete blood sample of Uchiha Flame. Please use this as a reference to search around this area to see if it is possible to find more traces of Uchiha Flame.”
"Huh? Could it be that what is written on this stone is your Uchiha's special code, so it cannot be known to me?"
Inuzuka Tsume's eyes narrowed slightly, but after seeing Shisui's apologetic expression, he waved his hand indifferently.
"You're kidding, kid! I'll go right away. But if I need your help in the future, don't refuse!"
"Don't worry."
Shisui put on a trustworthy smile.
"Then remember, I'm not the kind of person who just talks."
After Inuzuka Tsume finished speaking, she formed two shadow clones "Everyone remembers the taste of blood! Kuromaru and I will go north and south, and you two will search east and west, with a range of twenty kilometers. If anything is found , release the clone immediately."
"ok!"
After one dog and three people divided their work, they all put their feet on the ground at the same time and jumped quickly in different directions.
For a moment, Giyu couldn't tell who was a human and who was a dog.
"Flame is worthy of being an elite who has passed the Jonin exam."
After Inuzuka Tsume left, Uchiha Shisui held the stone with a smile on his face because he had found a breakthrough, "Even if we are unable to defeat the opponent, we still left important information to help us determine the opponent's identity."
"...There is only a circle and a tomoe on this side. Is it really a code?"
Giyu asked with some uncertainty.
To be honest, this is what Uchiha used to pay tribute to the deceased.
And from the twists and turns of the circle, it can be guessed that when Uchiha Flame left this message, he probably couldn't control his fingers properly. It is still unclear whether he was conscious or not.
"Well, at least we know that tomoe is synonymous with the Sharingan."
Shisui knew in his heart that his previous suspicion that the attacker had the Sharingan had been confirmed.
"As for the circle, it may refer to the murderer's face."
"If the circle represents the face, then the person who did it was Uchiha?"
Giyu suddenly remembered that the day before the news of the disappearance came, Uchiha Shisui said that the illusion he set for Flame was lifted, and his face suddenly darkened.
According to Shisui, except for the sealing master who is proficient in the change of Yin attribute (refer to Minato's sealing technique to release Obito's control of the Nine-Tails), and the Uchiha who has the Sharingan of three tomoe and above, others are not It might be possible to unravel his illusion.
"I eliminated the clan members' suspicions as soon as possible before the news of their disappearance came."
Shisui shook his head, "The circle he drew is very big, but the tomoe only occupies one side. In addition to the possibility that Uchiha Flame was confused and made a mistake in drawing, maybe he is telling us that the murderer may be a person with only Sharingan."
"If that's the case, it can explain why the other party didn't leave the body behind, but just took the person away."
Giyu's brows lowered slightly, "Is it for the eyes?"
"Um."
Shisui nodded, "Maybe there is only one Sharingan, which can no longer meet the opponent's needs. Judging from the fact that there are no traces of other ninjutsu released here, the opponent probably used taijutsu to knock down Uchiha Flame. Here, these broken trees are a reflection of their power."
"With such a powerful body, it is possible to be arrogant enough to think that you can use more than one three-tomoe Sharingan and withstand that kind of consumption."
"..."
Giyu threw out the image of Uchiha Flame's eyes bleeding from his mind.
"What about Wen? Why was his body taken away? He just has one tomoe sharingan?"
"Either the other party's method of killing Wen may reveal his identity. This shows that he is likely to be someone known to the Konoha ninja."
Shisui paused, then expressed his guess.
"Or, Wen has become a specimen for experiments. For some people, all body tissues of Bloodline Limit ninjas are rare research materials."
[This kind of thing is really common in the ninja world. Even if Uchiha Flame's survival may be greater, two days have passed, and what should have been done to him should have been done long ago...]
[Maybe, this thing is his last words. ]
In fact, more than half of the results of his reasoning are consistent with the facts. It's just that the reason why Uchiha Flame made the "last words" look like a clan-specific tribute, and also repeated the meaning of the masked man calling himself "the Ghost of Uchiha".
But this point was ignored.
"Boom——"
Lead-black clouds condensed into several groups, rolling and rubbing against each other. Waves of golden light flashed behind the clouds accompanied by thunder, and then strong winds surged from the distant forest and passed between the two bodies , tearing apart shallow tracks from the ashes on the ground.
"It's time to change the season."
Shisui stretched out his hand, his thumb wetted by the falling raindrops.
"Will the rain affect the Ninja Dog's search?"
Giyu asked.
"Such light rain should not happen for the time being."
"Then let's just wait here for a reply."
An hour later, Kuromaru and Inuzuka Tsume came back at the same time.
"Hey, what are you two doing standing in the rain?"
It was Kuromaru who asked the question, looking a little confused.
"They don't have fur, so it won't be a problem if they get wet. Why are you worrying so much?"
Inuzuka Tsume waved his hand, and then said to Shisui: "Boy, you should be lucky. If it had been one day later, the rain would have washed away everything, and I would not be able to find any traces."
"So, Senior Tsume?"
Shisui took a step forward, "Have you found any trace of Uchiha Flame?"
The corners of Giyu's eyebrows rose slightly, and he stared intently at Inuzuka Tsume's face, his heart suddenly beating like a drum.
"I found a drop of blood on a leaf 18 kilometers northwest. The smell is the same as the blood of the person you are looking for. It has dried."
"18 kilometers?"
Shisui was stunned. He didn't expect that Inuzuka Tsume could really find clues, and it was still so far away.
Generally speaking, if the injured person who was kidnapped is bleeding, the traces should be found very close to each other, and the distance should be evenly distributed.
“It’s really rare."
"Usually when this happens, it means that the other party has used a special method to preserve the injured person's body, and it is impossible to just hold it on his shoulders. Orochimaru once put the human body into the snake's belly and then released the Summoning, and then returned to the place where he was. Summoning the snake made us miserable.
"The reason why there were blood stains may be that he had the blood of the injured on his body, and then he stayed in that place for a short time."
Inuzuka Tsume analyzed, "But when I tried to use other scents left by the other party to track him there, I found that he didn't leave any clues around at all, as if he disappeared out of thin air."
"I'm afraid he doesn't move like we do by running, but mostly by means of Earth Dragon Hidden Technique or even flying, so he can't be tracked by scent."
"But if it's from the ground or the sky, the Hyuga clan in the patrol will not miss him."
Shisui paused, feeling a little troubled.
"It sounds like this is a guy who can come and go without a trace, just like the Fourth Hokage..."
"With the time and space ninjutsu, it's not impossible. But that's far beyond my ability, kid."
Inuzuka Tsume touched Kuromaru's head and combed his fur with his sharp nails.
"But if it is on the map, connect this place with the location where the second drop of blood was found in a straight line, and then extend it out. The other party's destination should be in the Kingdom of Rain."
[The Kingdom of Rain again? ]
Shisui scratched his chin with his index finger knuckle.
[Could it be that the other party’s purpose is really Itachi’s Sharingan? Or rather, his lair happens to be over there. ]
"I've finished my work. Do you two want me to continue pursuing it?"
Inuzuka Tsume looked at the two people, "I heard that the Kingdom of Rain has been in a lot of chaos recently, and it has also disturbed several small countries around it."
Her eyes gradually moved downward, and her position became lower and lower, and she said as if to intimidate Giyu: "Also, Rain ninjas are famous for being narrow-minded. When they kill a child like you, they will not be soft at all. Maybe we won’t even be able to keep the whole body.”
While staring at Giyu's face, she wrinkled her nose, as if verifying something.
[Why is it so similar to Tanjiro’s usual movements...]
Giyu looked at her calmly.
A few seconds later, Inuzuka Tsume smiled appreciatively again, "You are really not afraid at all. You are more courageous than Kuromaru when he was a child."
As she spoke, she regained her position and pointed at Kuromaru's right eye, which was wearing an eyepatch, and his missing left ear.
"However, there is a price to be paid for being bold, and there is nothing wrong with being careful sometimes."
"Who do you think I was injured because of..."
Kuromaru responded with disgust, and then said impatiently: "Let's go back when the things are done, I'm going to starve to death."
"I have a son who is about the same age as you. Remember to come to our house to play. If a ninja dog is born that day, according to my family's rules, I will give you one."
After Inuzuka Tsume warmly invited Giyu, his expression when he looked at Shisui was not so friendly.
"And you, because you caused my mission to be interrupted this time, it will definitely be recorded in my ninja file. When it comes time to return the favor, don't refuse, otherwise I won't let you go!"
After she finished speaking, she didn't wait for the two of them to answer. She straddled Kuromaru's back and disappeared as quickly as she came.
"I always feel like something big will happen next time we meet..."
Shisui scratched his head, "She seems to hate me, but she likes you very much, Giyu."
"Let's go."
With gratitude in his eyes, Giyu watched the woman and the dog disappear into the rain, then turned around and returned to his usual routine, "Let's go to the Land of Rain. If we follow the distance marked on the map and move forward at full speed, we can get there tomorrow morning. "
"Ok."
Shisui was also a little worried about Itachi's safety.
If the opponent is really aiming for the Sharingan and has the ability to defeat Uchiha Flame within ten seconds, then Itachi's situation will not be much better. I just hope that he can use his wisdom to delay it for a while.
Otherwise, he could only hope that the other party would be intimidated by the reputation of the demigod in the ninja world and not take action for the time being while Itachi was performing his mission in the Hidden Rain Village.
Of course, what he hoped for most was that someone in Konoha tipped off the guy that Uchiha Shisui was looking for him outside. He believed that his three tomoe sharingan would definitely be more attractive than Itachi's...
"Shisui, can you give me Wen's kunai?"
Giyu thought of his former half-partner Haori, which represented the two most important people in his life, as well as the two most unforgettable regrets.
"That's my next weapon."
