Uchiha Giyu Chapter 27
🕑 Added 2023-11-13 02:06:01 +0000 UTCChapter 27 The Sorrow of Uchiha (Part 1)
Forty days later, with ten days left before the start of the Ninja School, Giyu finally managed to maintain the Flame Breathing in the water without making any mistakes for twenty-four hours.
However, in this case, the violent natural energy washing and flowing through his body was only one-half of what it was on dry land.
Giyu is like a person who gradually adapts to taking a shower with hot water. All he needs to do next is to increase the temperature and increase the water output from the faucet.
However, no matter what kind of terrain it is, Constant is Constant, and Giyu still received the reminder after a long time——
[The Flame Breathing has reached a normal level. The Gene Carrier can be used to resurrect Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro. ] ( Normal level = Total concentration breathing: Constant, which he can use flame breathing 24 hour a day)
[When the Hashira is resurrected, its age will be the same as yours, and its physical strength in all aspects will be equivalent to practicing the corresponding breathing method for one year. However, chakra extraction and other techniques need to be taught separately. ]
Giyu came out of the waterfall and sat on the stone that he had cut when he tried the water blade, silently thinking about the meaning of the sound.
First of all, the age of the resurrected Hashira is equal to his age.
In other words, the older Giyu is, the older the Hashira will be after resurrection.
This made him feel a little more at ease. He could grow up and resurrect others. If it was the pea-sized Himejima Gyōmei, he wouldn't know how to face him.
Second, after resurrection, it will have mastered the breathing method at a level of one year and has basic martial arts.
Judging from the fact that he can match Shisui, an ordinary Jōnin, in physical skills after maintaining normalcy for one year, the other Hashiras will not be much behind him (right).
This made Giyu feel somewhat reassured.
In this way, even if Rengoku is resurrected and is unwilling or unable to live in Konoha due to doubts and other factors, he still has the power to protect himself from being harmed by ordinary people.
Giyu only needs to teach him how to practice chakra combined with breathing methods, and then he can feel a little relieved and let him live in the Land of Fire.
As for letting Rengoku live in Konoha, there may be some difficulties, but it is not completely impossible.
According to what Giyu has learned about the Konoha Orphanage through various channels in the past forty days, their director named Yakushi Nonou, who likes to pick up children, has not been seen for a long time, and no one knows where she has gone. .
Nowadays, the mother of the orphanage goes to search for orphans outside the village once every six months. She also has to make sure that the orphan is an obedient child before she is willing to take him in. The younger the child, the greater the likelihood of adoption.
If Rengoku is willing to live in Konoha, Giyu will first give him the 50,000 ryō of compensation he received before and let him stay somewhere on the border of the Land of Fire until it is time to search the orphanage. It would be nice to be "discovered".
But even Giyu, who lacks common sense, knows that achieving this plan requires a lot of luck.
After all, the resurrected Rengoku is already 6 years old and still talks very loudly (regardless of whether his ears are injured), so the possibility of being accepted into the orphanage is slim.
The most important thing is that the orphanage is outside the large fence (city wall?) of Konoha. Normally, those children must be raised to become useful medical ninjas before they can enter Konoha.
As a result, how to ensure the realization of "helping Naruto find a brother" is even more unknown...
Thinking that he might not be able to fulfill his promise to the child, Giyu felt a rare irritation in his heart.
But at least, the two most important and difficult steps of the Rengoku Resurrection Plan——
Obtaining healthy Uzumaki Naruto's hair and achieving Flame Breathing·Constant has been completed.
Next, all that is left is to practice Summoning and find a suitable time to go to a place far away from the village to resurrect the Rengoku.
When he thought of this, in this mountain stream where no one else could see, the corners of Giyu's mouth seemed to have an indiscernible upward twist. The two sunset-colored Sharingan opened unconsciously and turned slowly...
The next moment, the crow alert sound given to him by Shisui sounded.
Someone is here.
"Giyu, are you in a daze?"
Itachi, carrying a ninja sword, appeared in Giyu's sight, perfectly interrupting the rare smile that was gathering strength.
For more than a month, Uchiha Itachi was either performing a mission or on the way to perform a mission. How many people died under his ninja sword are unknown.
These people include, but are not limited to: Fire Nation dignitaries who claim to reduce Konoha's military spending; wallflowers in Kusagakure who lean towards Iwagakure; single-pass ninjas who possess secret ninjutsu; wandering ninjas gathered around Konoha; suspected spies Behavioral caravans, and a series of actual and potential enemies.
Some of them he thought should be killed, and some he thought should not be killed; some were already octogenarians, and some were not as old as he was.
However, in order to fulfill his promise to his father, "I will join the ANBU and become a spy placed by the clan next to Hokage," he abandoned all personal feelings and perfectly performed these extremely cold tasks. Supposedly, this is what ANBU should do.
But as soon as he returned home and saw Sasuke who was still studying hard for the exam, his mother who had returned intact, and Giyu who was practicing under the waterfall, his heavy heart was relieved. All the weight his father placed on his shoulders seemed to disappear. was temporarily removed.
"You're back, Itachi."
Giyu blinked, and then immediately continued as if he remembered something: "I have read all the contents of the Water Prison Technique."
"I'm not here to rush the progress..."
Itachi didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "I came to tell you that mother is also at home today."
Giyu understood that this was a rare moment for their family to reunite recently, so he stood up immediately.
"I'm going to change clothes."
He said simply, immediately appeared at the water's edge ten meters away, and then got into the hut.
[The perfect water body flicker technique.]
Itachi's eyes flashed with admiration.
This time, Giyu still had not made any seal.
In the past forty days, he had seen Giyu no more than ten times.
But every time he comes, he will teach Giyu a water release ninjutsu that he has already learned, which is generally practical.
For example, the water body flicker technique is different from the high-speed mobile version of the body flicker technique that Jonin must know. This is a displacement between the position of a person and a body of water. It sounds very ordinary, but it involves a little bit of basic time and space principles. Learning it was very difficult, but Giyu still managed to learn it at a glance.
Although Itachi has never met the Second Hokage, in his opinion, Senju Tobirama's water release talent is probably not much better than Giyu.
"Let's go."
Soon after, Giyu changed into the same black turtleneck and long sleeves worn by the three brothers.
The moment he stepped on the water, he appeared beside Itachi like a flash of light. Within the same water area, he can appear anywhere within fifteen meters within 0.5 seconds, and this range will be further in the future.
Itachi, who had often fought with ninjas recently, subconsciously took a step away. His right hand instinctively moved behind his back, but it immediately smoothly turned into a motion of stroking his neck, with a slightly stiff expression on his face.
This sudden water instant means that as long as Giyu wants to, he can be killed at that moment.
The three tomoe sharingan may be able to see some clues, but his body has no time to react.
His subtle movements were noticed by Giyu, and the surprise he had brought about by achieving Flame Breathing: Constant suddenly disappeared.
Giyu recalled the look of Itachi's teammates when they died three years ago, and the tears he would shed when no one was around.
But Giyu didn't say anything, he just grabbed Itachi's hand like Sasuke usually did, "Go back directly?"
"Let's go to Naka Shrine first."
There was a trace of gratitude in Itachi's smile. He knew that Giyu didn't like to get too close to others. "There is a new illusion that may be useful."
"Um."
Naka Shrine, in addition to being a place where Uchiha holds meetings and commemorates the dead, the illusions that require different levels of Sharingan to be used are engraved on different stone tablets. Only those with eye power reaching a certain "standard" can read and learn.
When the two brothers reached the edge of the Konoha barrier, Itachi and Giyu performed the ANBU seal sequence taught to them by Shisui until a special layer of chakra formed on their bodies and merged with the transparent edge of the barrier.
That special set of seals is the key to entering Konoha's barrier. Only through it one can enter Konoha without alerting the barrier squad. Otherwise, it will be detected immediately, attracting patrol troops and ANBU.
So far, only Kumogakure ninjas with barrier perception shielding technology can sneak into Konoha silently, and there are many times (Uchiha Obito's divine power can be detected)...
Naka Shrine is located right on the inner edge of the barrier. It is the most precious private place of Uchiha, and outsiders are never allowed to enter.
The two of them walked through the ancient torii gate and stepped on the mossy steps that were many years old, feeling the solemn and cold atmosphere around them. Some of these stone steps have collapsed, some are broken, and some are damaged, telling the story of the divisions, anger, and unity within Uchiha from generation to generation.
All disputes between clans usually start and end here.
After arriving at the courtyard of the shrine, Itachi looked around and found that there was no one else here except the old man in charge of cleaning.
"Giyu, wait for me here for a while."
Giyu nodded slightly, avoided the old man's cleaning route, examined the trees, stones and the layout of the ditch in the yard, and recalled his Mansion, which might have been completely abandoned.
At this time, the snow on the eaves that had not yet melted was picked up by the wind and swirled past him. Giyu's eyes followed it and saw a pine tree surrounded by bluestone slabs - more strictly speaking, it was a pine tree surrounded by bluestone slabs. The gap in the bluestone slab under the pine tree caught his attention.
In the gap, there are four small stones painted with tomoe, which are unique to the Uchiha clan and are tributes to the deceased. I don't know why they are lying here quietly.
After all, the inner hall of the shrine, where all the dead clan members are enshrined, is only a dozen meters away. Why would someone go to the trouble of setting up a small, unknown altar?
"You think it's strange too, don't you?"
Giyu raised his head and followed the sound, only to see the old man sweeping the floor holding a broom and leaning on it.
"Obviously the inner hall is only a few steps away, but someone insisted on placing tributes in this place...I don't know if I should clean it up."
[Are you talking to me? ]
Giyu looked at him uncertainly, but deep down he was envious of his ability to talk to strangers.
But the old man didn't care whether he responded or not, and kept talking to himself, "However, no matter who put this thing here, they didn't choose the time of the festival at all. It has been less than a year since July last year. Only four pieces have been placed, but I haven’t even seen who it is, what a strange person..."
Then, he shook his neck and continued his cleaning work, sweeping away the dust and fallen pine needles as he walked further and further away, leaving Giyu alone in confusion.
[Is it because I ignored him that he left? ]
[Also, since last July, it was my and Sasuke’s birthday...]
[Did anyone in the clan die at that time? ]
He passed the time slowly thinking and remembering, but did not touch the somewhat unique tribute. Maybe the tree has a unique meaning to that person.
Fortunately, Itachi didn't keep him waiting too long, and even brought a pack of tea leaves grown and cultivated by the shrine's priest himself, which he said he wanted to give to his mother.
After the two returned home, Uchiha Fugaku had also returned, and Sasuke was practicing throwing shurikens by himself in the backyard.
"Sasuke and I have already met mom, so consider this tea as a gift you prepared for her."
Itachi gently pushed Giyu's shoulder, "I'll go over there and talk to Sasuke, and I'll go in later."
Obviously, he wanted Giyu to have some alone time with his mother.
"Ok."
Giyu agreed.
When he opened the entrance door and quietly walked to the door of the Japanese room, Uchiha Mikoto was talking to Uchiha Fugaku about her experience during this period.
"...We waited outside the Country of Rain for more than ten days with no results, and finally received a message from Iwagakure, hired by the client. Then we continued walking north, and finally saw a man on the border between the Country of Grass and the Country of Taki. Tsunade-sama. She hasn't changed much from before."
Giyu saw his parents talking and didn't want to disturb them.
He bowed slightly to Uchiha Fugaku, who was facing him, and then sat behind Mikoto like a statue, motionless and breathless, as if he had not come in at all, or in other words, did not exist at all.
"After the client met with Tsunade-sama, they discussed the cost of treatment in private, and finally settled on a sky-high price of three million ryō. But I heard from Kato Shizune that this amount of money is far from repaying their gambling debt. There is still a big gap between the debt and she doesn’t know what to do, so she can only hide all the way south..."
"Ahem."
Uchiha Fugaku clenched one hand into a fist and coughed twice.
"What's wrong?"
Mikoto was stunned for a moment, "Is it because the weather has been too cold recently, did you catch a cold?"
As she said that, she knelt down and stood up, and was about to cross the table to test the temperature of Fugaku's forehead just like when she first fell in love. After all, the child is not here.
Seeing this, Fugaku quickly looked at Giyu and said loudly with a somewhat stern tone: "How long are you still sitting there? Why don't you say hello to anyone when you come back?"
Mikoto then turned around, and the faint worry in her eyes because of her husband's health immediately turned into strong joy.
"Giyu?!"
"Mom."
After Giyu saluted, he then turned to Fugaku: "Father..."
"Um?"
Fugaku made a thick nasal sound.
"……dad."
Giyu reacted quickly this time.
[That’s pretty much it! ]
Fugaku's expression changed from serious to relaxed. Of the three sons in the family, only Sasuke wanted to be close to him. This was unfair.
However, before he could express his words of praise, he saw Uchiha Mikoto grabbing Giyu and inspecting it carefully.
"It's only been a month since we last met, and Giyu seems to have grown taller."
When she pressed Giyu's shoulders, she found that the thickness was different from before, "It's stronger than before."
Then, her eyes and eyebrows narrowed like two pairs of crescent moons, "It seems that Giyu has been training well during this period. You must be training yourself so hard to make your father happy, right, Giyu?"
Uchiha Fugaku brought the tea, not wanting Giyu to see his possibly somewhat proud expression later, but he was extremely satisfied. In addition to parents' approval, how many other things can make children work so hard?
However--
"Not entirely."
Giyu's answer made Fugaku almost choke.
"You kid!"
Mikoto poked Giyu's forehead with a smile, and then looked at her husband with an expression that was not apologetic, but rather joking.
"Giyu doesn't know how to lie, but it hasn't changed at all. I hope you can keep it up in the future, at least always tell the truth to your parents."
"By the way," she changed the subject, "Mom is back today. Have you thought about what to delicious food to make?"
"Yeah, I've thought about it all."
Giyu nodded seriously.
In his understanding of interpersonal relationships, knowing what a person likes to eat is more important than what the person's name is.
"Then can mom come into the kitchen and cook with you?"
"..."
Giyu pinched his fingers, not knowing how to answer.
"Okay, okay, I'm just teasing you."
Uchiha Mikoto looked at her husband, "Looks like you're going to have a good meal tonight."
"I won't eat at home."
Fugaku snorted lightly.
"Why is that?" Mikoto looked at him with a half-smile, "You must not be angry because of what happened just now, right? You are such an old person..."
"Don't talk nonsense. Just before I came back, the Third hokage sent someone to deliver a notice to me, saying that Uchiha Flame passed the Jonin examination."
"real?"
Mikoto sounded a little surprised.
She always thought that with that child's temper, he would have to wait at least another three to five years before he could become a Jōnin. After all, Jōnin is the face of the village. You can't become a Jōnin just because you have enough strength. At least you can't offend the client.
"I didn't expect that either."
Uchiha Fugaku was vaguely happy, "However, I still need to discuss with several elders in the clan what to do with him next, so I won't be back until very late tonight."
As he said that, he stood up and said, "Giyu, you and Sasuke have to work hard after going to school. Do you understand?"
"Okay, okay, since you don't want to eat, then hurry up and go. The children can be more relaxed while you are away."
"snort!"
After throwing out a standard Uchiha-specific modal word, Fugaku left home, intending to give good guidance to this talented person in the clan who was about to be able to stand alone.
But what he didn't know was that Uchiha Flame, a 16-year-old Jōnin, will only be a Jōnin for three days. (ಥ_ಥ)
