[Giyu’s impressions of other people so far]
Itachi Uchiha: Worried about things, he likes to keep secrets and guard against father. I don't really want him in the kitchen.
Uchiha Sasuke: As long as you can eat, you will be happy around Itachi and me. He likes to be praised.
Uchiha Fugaku: Always trying to force others to do something. He is very strong.
Uchiha Mikoto: A Jōnin who can't even tread water, who may be exposed by the village at any time. Always reminds me of my sister.
Uchiha Shisui: He likes to bring gifts to Sasuke, he is a good person. He is as strong as my father.
Kakashi Hatake: Not too seriously. He really wants to be lazy.
Uzumaki Naruto: A very optimistic child with huge energy lurking in his body. It looks very similar to the Fourth Hokage in the photo.
Sarutobi Hiruzen: An old man who is not very responsible.
Uchiha Flame: A somewhat impulsive child.
[Other people’s impressions of Giyu so far]
Uchiha Sasuke: A combination of mother and brother who likes to take care of people. It makes him feel sad when I cry. Although he is very powerful, I cannot be jealous.
Uchiha Itachi: His imagination is too rich, and he may have some potential mental problems. When he doesn't speak, he feels like he is the elder brother.
Uchiha Fugaku: He is more talented than Itachi and has excellent physical fitness. If trained properly, it is the hope for the clan to regain its former glory.
Uchiha Mikoto: A good child who is taciturn and gentle-hearted. He lives a very awkward life and lacks common sense. He has shown some improvement recently and I hope he maintains it.
Shisui: A genius child with the destructive power of a Jonin. He has a soft heart, which is very similar to me.
Kakashi: He is destined to be a child who cannot help himself. My ninja dog doesn't like him.
Uzumaki Naruto: The only friend of my own age who I want to meet often. I hope to see Giyu’s smile.
Sarutobi Hiruzen: He cares too much about the feelings of others and is easy to lead. It is a tool to contain and influence Uchiha Itachi in the future.
Uchiha Flame: I am little scared (of his brother).
…
Three days passed in a blink of an eye.
Thanks to the sudden intimacy with Giyu's way of addressing his family and his promise to go to a ninja school, Uchiha Fugaku rarely put away his droopy face and spent three days laughing with his family. .
For this reason, Uchiha Fugaku also specially commended Uchiha Itachi. He thought that Giyu would agree to go to school because of Itachi's persuasion.
Although the latter was a little confused, he didn't understand the real reason. He only did it because Giyu was considerate of him.
After the New Year, Uchiha Shisui came to visit again, but this time it was not for a meal.
When he "heard" that Giyu was going to school, he immediately volunteered and said that he would help Giyu conduct special preschool training for three months until the start of the ninja school. He also wanted to compete with Itachi to see who was better. It means taking care of children.
However, he has conditions. Giyu's training time is not as long as Sasuke's, so if he wants to catch up, it is best to let Giyu live at his place.
Uchiha Fugaku was overjoyed and agreed on the spot. He asked Giyu and Shisui to stay for a while to concentrate on training and not to worry about family matters. As for Sasuke, during this time, he went to the security department with him to "study" in order to prepare for the written examination when he entered school, which finally resolved Sasuke's dissatisfaction with the separation from his younger brother.
But from the beginning to the end, only Shisui, Itachi and Giyu himself knew the true purpose of Giyu's departure from home.
At this time, the three of them had arrived at Shisui's hut behind the Naka River. It is a mountain stream with high waterfalls and steep cliffs on both sides. The Naka River flows through here. This place is already outside the wood industry boundary.
In the mountain stream, the waterfall that flows down is not affected by the cold winter. When it falls, it releases bursts of mist, accompanied by dense drum-like accompaniment.
A simple hut was built next to the water reservoir directly below the waterfall.
“This is the place where the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama taught my grandfather Uchiha Kagami."
"He was once a disciple of the Second Hokage, and he was also the Hokage's guard whom the Second Hokage could entrust with his life. Facts have proved that he has lived up to this trust."
Uchiha Shisui guided the two of them to the edge of the waterfall and introduced this inaccessible treasure land in a serious manner.
This is Uchiha's territory, so outsiders don't come here; and most of the clan members practice fire release ninjutsu, so they don't come here very often, which is perfect for Giyu to stay here temporarily.
"My father often said during his lifetime that when my grandfather was still alive, that was the moment when our Uchiha clan was closest to the Hokage."
"But with the death of my grandfather, there is no bridge and mediator to communicate with each other, and the relationship between the clan and the village has become worse and worse."
Giyu listened and his expression remained as usual.
He just loved the way this place made him feel.
When running Water Breathing and Normal Time here, the efficiency of natural energy in strengthening the body is one-half higher than usual.
But before, Giyu had never had a similar feeling whether he was near the artificially dug Konoha River or the large lake at the Uchiha training ground.
[Is it because it is in a natural water source? ]
He began to think about this problem.
Uchiha Itachi on the side listened carefully to Shisui's speech, showing his usual thoughtful expression.
This was the first time that Shisui took the initiative to tell him about family affairs.
"Itachi, can you guess why my father named me Shisui?"
He looked back in Itachi's direction, casting a sincere smile under his long eyelashes.
"I think uncle... probably hopes that you will inherit Senior Kagami's legacy."
Uchiha Itachi stood still with respect, "Shisui refers to the human heart, which can reflect the world outside the heart like the calm surface of water without any stance or prejudice. My uncle gave you this name. He hopes you can transcend the Uchiha’s position and look at the relationship between the village and the Uchiha without distortion and objectively like Senior Kagami... Am I right?” ("Shisui" alone means "still water" or "stagnant water".)
"As expected of Itachi, he can think so profoundly at once."
Shisui's eyes narrowed into crescent moons, "But you only mentioned the deeper reason. Sometimes you can think more simply and superficially..."
"Well……"
Itachi blinked and shook his head honestly.
"I really can't think of the second option."
"It's actually very simple. The second meaning is that my father hopes that I can inherit the Water Release Ninjutsu that the Second Hokage is most proud of like my grandfather did."
After Shisui gave the correct answer, he shrugged helplessly.
"Unfortunately, like most of the clan, I was born without water attribute chakra, and there is no result in developing changes in its nature. At most, I can only use the geographical advantage to use some functional water release ninjutsu. As for the development of the Second Hokage Those powerful water releases seem a bit useless to me."
"However, just when I thought that my grandfather's inheritance was about to end here, a water release genius that had never been seen in Uchiha suddenly appeared."
At this point, Shisui stopped talking.
He walked to the stone lamp at the door of the hut, pressed the top of the stone lamp and twisted it slightly, then lifted the upper part of it.
Only then did Uchiha Itachi discover that the lower part of the stone lamp was hollow, with a long tube inside.
"this is……"
He watched the thing being taken out by Shisui and had a bold guess in his mind.
"That's what you think."
Shisui nodded solemnly, opened the bamboo tube, and the scroll inside fell into his hands, with a rather complicated seal painted on it.
"This is the summary of the second Hokage, Senju Tobirama's lifelong study of water release, and every water release ninjutsu he created is recorded on this scroll. The ones kept in the village are just its backup. There are a lot of explanations and annotations missing from the Second Hokage’s hands.”
He looked past Itachi, who was slightly dazed, and towards Giyu, who still didn't know what this meant.
"Shisui, this kind of thing..."
Uchiha Itachi saw what he was thinking and quickly spoke out to dissuade him.
He understood the value of this thing, not just as a source of power that all ninjas longed for.
It was also Shisui's family heirloom, proof that the village and the Uchiha had their own family period. After all, who would have thought that the Second Hokage, who was hated by his clan to this day, would actually pass on his special ninjutsu to an Uchiha?
"I just took it out to show you off."
Shisui stopped Itachi in an understatement, and then explained: "Last time when Giyu and Uchiha Flame fought, didn't he hurt his hand due to excessive accumulation of chakra? There is a ninjutsu in it. This situation should be avoided…"
"It's just that I can't use this technique myself, so I simply didn't learn it."
As he spoke, he unfolded the scroll and quickly searched it with his eyes, finally settling on a ninjutsu called Water Release: Water Blade Slash.
(This ninjutsu comes from the game "Naruto: Ultimate Storm" and is not in the comics and TV.)
Itachi carefully looked at the label written by Senju Tobirama himself and immediately understood the function of this ninjutsu.
Similar to Wind Release: Vacuum Blade and Uchiha Style: Sword Jump Flame, Water Release: Water Blade Slash is where the ninja spits water attribute chakra onto kunai or other weapons, condensing it into a lengthened blade to increase the weapon's attack distance. And power, very suitable for water release ninjas who are proficient in sword skills.
However, this jutsu seems simple, but because it involves a considerable degree of change in Chak's form, it is a B-level ninjutsu that can only be mastered by a jonin.
"No wonder I've never seen anyone else use it in Konoha..."
As far as Itachi knew, ninjas who were good at swordsmanship and water release should all be in Kirigakure.
In Konoha, the only such ninjas are the Second Hokage himself and a senior named Maruboshi Kosuke.
"But how long will it take for Giyu to learn this technique?"
Itachi felt that Shisui was a little too whimsical.
"His ninjutsu foundation is only a little bit, and he has never even trained in the joint seal."
"You'll know if you try it. Giyu is a child who can imagine the 'secret' technique of breathing. Maybe he can master it just by looking at it."
Shisui could see clearly, and stretched out his hand to call Giyu over, and completely spread out the scroll that the Second Hokage personally annotated in front of him.
【So many words...]
After a cursory scan, Giyu saw no less than twenty independently classified water release ninjutsus, all of which were originally created by the Second Hokage himself. He even proudly put his seal on them.
And those water release ninjutsu that he had before have also undergone various transformations.
Among them, the one that Giyu is more familiar with, such as the water clone Itachi taught him, has no fewer than five changes -
There are water clones that turn into oil, water clones that turn into glue (jelly), water clones that look transparent but actually hide explosive tags, water clones that can be used at super long distances, and even water clones that are made entirely of venom.
Giyu couldn't help but sigh in his heart.
[If such a person were to become a water Hashira, then the forms of the Water Breathing should be more than the Moon Breathing, which is one of the upper moon. ]
"Giyu, have you seen any ninjutsu you like?"
Shisui and Itachi rarely saw Giyu showing interest in ninjutsu.
Sure enough, what attracts children to become ninjas is not strength, but the ability to learn fancy and interesting ninjutsu?
"I'm just taking a look."
Giyu looked away.
He had just taken a general look and had some idea of what the Water Release Ninjutsu could do.
"Don't be so shy?"
Shisui pulled Giyu back again, pointed at the entry for Water Release : Water Blade Slash, and said: "Let's see if you can learn this technique first. Others use weapons, but you concentrate chakra on your hands. This It’s a natural disadvantage.”
Giyu cast his gaze upward.
But as Itachi expected, the large number of professional terms arranged in Senju Tobirama in this entry made Giyu very confused.
He can use the water clone and shadow clone because the amount of chakra is large and does not involve any form changes. However, this technique requires water to form the blade while maintaining a stable and flowing form, which is quite complicated.
"Do you know?"
After watching for a while, Giyu asked Shisui simply, "If you can, just do it once and I will know how to do it."
With the transparent world, he doesn't actually need to understand the principles of ninjutsu. As long as he knows the chakra paths and acupuncture points that chakra passes through when using this ninjutsu, Giyu can "copy" it intact.
"?"
Shisui and Itachi exchanged confused looks on top of Giyu's head.
Then Itachi seemed to remember something, nodded and said, "Let me give it a try. When I taught water clone, he learned it after only watching it once."
Then, without any delay, he immediately made the seal according to the instructions on the scroll.
However, Itachi only started to master the changes in water properties recently, so he failed the first few times.
During this period, Giyu stayed motionless, staring at Itachi's body meridians as if he wanted to see through him. Follow him to become familiar with the operation and preparation of this technique.
About ten minutes later, a flash of confidence emerged between Itachi's brows, and he quickly formed seals with his hands. While puffing up his cheeks, he took out a kunai and spit a mouthful of water on it.
The water flow seemed to surround the kunai consciously, and it was about to spread and collapse several times. However, under Itachi's meticulous control of opening the three tomoe sharingan eyes, the water flow finally gathered into a bunch and became A clear and transparent but constantly flowing blade was simply grafted onto the kunai, about twenty centimeters long.
"Successful."
Shisui patted Itachi's shoulder excitedly, "As expected of you."
B-level ninjutsu, which is not something that an ordinary Jōnin can master after hundreds of failed attempts, but Uchiha Itachi did it in only ten minutes. Although this is partly due to the insight function of the Sharingan, it cannot be denied that Uchiha Itachi's subtle mastery of chakra has already reached the standard of a Jōnin.
He is only ten and a half years old now.
But Itachi didn't feel proud. He was used to learning ninjutsu quickly. He was more concerned about how Giyu would learn this B-level ninjutsu.
"Giyu, is that okay?"
Needless to say, the moment Giyu observed his success, he immediately mobilized the chakra formed by the three forces in his body to operate according to the established chakra paths and acupuncture points.
He didn't need to form seals to guide chakra, he just stretched out the middle and index fingers of his right hand, and the waterfall that flew down immediately separated a stream of cold water around it, and then gradually lengthened within a few seconds, and completed It took shape and became a sword that seemed to grow directly from the hands of Giyu.
"I suspect he actually has a Byakugan."
Shisui said something unbelievable, but it was infinitely close to reality.
Things don't end here yet.
As the shape of the sword in Giyu's mind gradually became clear, several large characters like engraved words suddenly emerged from the bottom of the water blade, right next to Giyu's fingers -
Destroyer of Demons.
At this point, Giyu finally has a handy weapon.
