Uchiha Giyu Chapter 11
🕑 Added 2023-10-31 04:46:56 +0000 UTCChapter 11 The skyrocketing resolution of the flames
Early the next morning, Sasuke woke up in a daze, rubbed his eyes and noticed in surprise——
[This is not the room where Giyu and I belong. ]
He looked both ways and found that his older brother was sleeping on his right, and his twin brothers were sleeping on his left. He couldn't be happier.
And the three of them were actually in Itachi's room.
[Right……]
Sasuke's memory was vague.
Last night, it seemed that I was caught by someone with one hand and moved here. Just because he was too sleepy, he thought he was having a dream, so he didn't pay attention.
[Did my brother carry me here? ]
Two red clouds appeared on Sasuke's face. After all, he was the one in the middle, which meant that his brother really liked him more than Giyu!
Great!
[It would be better if it could continue like this and my mother wouldn't care. ]
Sasuke completely wanted to do it.
Giyu on the side opened his eyes because of the movement of Sasuke covering his face and rolling around, and the mysterious voice also sounded in his head as expected.
[Getting up close and personal with Uchiha Itachi for 8 hours. Flame's breathing resolution +0.06%; Wind's breathing resolution +0.02%; Moon's breathing resolution +0.004%. ]
[10 hours of close contact with Uchiha Sasuke. Flame breathing resolution +0.07%; Thunder breathing resolution +0.03%. ]
Although others couldn't see it, there seemed to be some rare joy on Giyu's face.
[Sure enough, taking Sasuke to sleep next to Itachi will make the progress faster. ]
Overnight, the resolution of the Flame Breathing increased by 1.3 thousandths. If this continues, Giyu will be able to resurrect Rengoku Kyojuro within two years even if he just sleeps in the same room with them.
Not to mention going to the training place with them during the day...
If the change in the nature of Itachi's fire chakra can be further improved, and the resolution provided per hour is increased by 0.01%, the progress of resurrecting Rengoku Kyojuro will be faster.
However, using his two brothers quietly like this still made Giyu feel a little guilty.
[After all, Sasuke is already so old, maybe he no longer wants to sleep with Itachi. ]
(Sasuke: I advise you not to meddle in other people’s business!)
He planned to make his cooking more refined in the future to compensate them, or use the transparent world to give guidance when they were training so that they would avoid detours.
Giyu stretched out his right hand and observed it carefully, and found that the swelling caused by excessive chakra coverage yesterday had completely subsided.
He recalled what happened yesterday and had a rough idea of what his power was.
When he had a conflict with the three genin yesterday, he simply used his physical strength to fight back. His performance was already very good and he should have the destructive power of a chunin.
When using breathing techniques while mobilizing chakra, the sword form will be released in the form of ninjutsu! Its destructive power should depend on the amount of chakra consumed.
In the latter state, the power of the sword type was too great, so Giyu decided to use it sparingly. After all, if it weren't for Shisui, the boy named Uchiha Flame yesterday would probably have been killed by his Tenth form.
[By the way, there is also the matter of learning to break illusions, which must be done as soon as possible. ]
Giyu clenched his fists with firm eyes.
The same thing must never happen again.
"Are you all awake?"
Itachi also sat up, his eyes lingered on Giyu for a moment, and then pulled up Sasuke's hair. The latter comfortably buried his face in his brother's arms, like a coquettish cat.
Last night, when Giyu came in holding Sasuke with one hand, Itachi was still thinking about what happened after his father sent him to ANBU and was not asleep.
He originally thought that Giyu wanted to tell him what happened yesterday, but who would have thought that he would go to bed immediately after he came in and put Sasuke down.
Itachi didn't understand Giyu's purpose of doing this, he could only attribute it to it being his unique way of expressing his affection.
After all, in their family, most of Giyu's behaviors are inexplicable, and he has become somewhat used to it.
"Brother, are we going to Training Ground No. 4 today?"
Sasuke was still upset about not being able to learn great fireball technique yesterday.
"No, starting from today, we will train at Uchiha's grounds."
Itachi smiled slightly, "Uchiha Flame was punished by his father and will have to serve in the guard for the next month."
But what he didn't mention was that after sending away the medical ninja who was treating Giyu last night, he blocked Uchiha Flame, who also had little chakra left, on the way, and taught that man a lesson with exquisite shuriken techniques.
Uchiha Flame will probably have to rest at home for three days before going to work in the police force.
When Sasuke heard that he no longer had to run so far, he shouted in surprise: "That's great! Then it doesn't matter if you go home late."
"Training requires a balance between work and rest, Sasuke."
Itachi lightly tapped Sasuke's forehead and said in a different tone: "However, the only time I can train with you every day is next month. It might be good to spend more time with you."
"Eh?"
Not only Sasuke, but also Giyu looked up at Itachi with a questioning look, "Why is this?"
"I have promised my father that I will take the Chunin Exam in August."
Itachi said: "After I become a chunin, I may go on missions outside of the Land of Fire."
"Then will you come back after a long time?"
Sasuke showed a pair of pitiful starry eyes.
Without my brother, life would be meaningless.
"I will try to complete the task as quickly as possible."
Itachi smiled and replied, "It's just that I can't be with you and Giyu every day."
"Is it dangerous if we go outside the village?"
The one who said this was naturally Giyu.
Just from these words, Itachi could feel the difference between the two brothers.
Compared to Sasuke who just wants to be with him, Giyu is more like an adult and cares about his safety first.
When he was spying on his father in the forest yesterday, he naturally heard Giyu's tirade about why he didn't want to become a ninja.
No matter how you put it, for a child, the future of ninjas he described is a bit too realistic and desperate.
It’s hard to imagine that this is what a person who has never been on the battlefield can say.
"Don't worry about my safety. My father will help me check all tasks before assigning them to me."
Itachi knew very well that most of the tasks he would perform in the future would be tasks related to the qualities required by ANBU ninjas, such as surveillance and assassination.
However, as long as it is a task that can be planned and laid out in advance, he is confident that it can be completed.
On the contrary, the encounters that may occur during border patrol missions may be a bit dangerous for him whose body is not yet developed.
"That's good."
Giyu only half believed Itachi's words.
He still couldn't forget the time when Itachi was eight years old and lost his teammates and returned home covered in blood.
As long as he leaves the village, the dangers he may encounter will increase exponentially.
Out of worry, he originally wanted to say, "Can I go with you?"...
But even with his weak common sense in the ninja world, he knew that neither the ninja rules nor his parents would allow this to happen.
But he had to do something for Itachi, otherwise he wouldn't be able to stay at home peacefully.
After thinking for a long time, he lowered his head and said loudly: "Since you are going to take the Chunin Exam, do you want me to help you train?"
"Um?"
Sasuke and Itachi looked sharply at him.
Both of them, one from seeing it with his own eyes and the other from listening to Shisui's description, knew that this younger brother had the physical ability to easily defeat the genin.
[He can react in time to the attacks of the two juniors without using Sharingan. ]
[And that sophisticated and crisp attack will never be possible unless it is someone who is well aware of the human body's weaknesses. ]
Shisui's comments still lingered in Itachi's ears.
[From the perspective of taijutsu and ninjutsu, it is no exaggeration to say that Giyu is a genius. ]
[But his heart is a little too soft. Even after defeating an opponent seven years older than him, he didn't feel any joy at all. Instead, he seemed very guilty. ]
"Are you really willing?"
Itachi looked into Giyu's eyes, "I thought you didn't like these things related to ninjas."
"I don't like it, but I don't want anything to happen to you."
Giyu answered quite directly, without any attempt to hide it.
Itachi's heart, which had gradually become cold due to the mission, seemed to be poked by the warm sunshine.
"Then it's up to you, Giyu."
"Um."
"You two, don't exclude me. I also want to help my brother train."
Sasuke angrily stepped between their eyes.
In this way, for the next twenty days or so, the deepest part of the Uchiha training ground became the exclusive area for the three brothers.
In the morning, Itachi would teach Sasuke the techniques of Ninjutsu such as Three Body Jutsu and Great FireBall, while Giyu would sit no more than two meters away from the two of them to extract chakra.
Because they are close, they will go home for lunch at noon.
In order to speed up cooking, Giyu learned the shadow clone technique from Itachi by seeing through the world, but with his chakra, he could separate up to four at a time. Itachi also judged from this that Giyu's chakra amount should be only slightly less than him.
However, Itachi believed that once Giyu's Shadow Clone was discovered by his father, it would probably attract his attention again, so he taught Giyu the Water Clone Technique.
Although the water body cannot synchronize memory, has insufficient attack power, and cannot leave the main body for too long, it is fully capable of small tasks such as cooking.
The most important thing is that the water body is particularly chakra-saving.
In the afternoon, Itachi will create a shadow clone to teach Sasuke how to use swordsmanship, while the main body will fight in close combat with Giyu using a wooden sword.
His own sword skills were learned from Shisui. To be honest, apart from being extremely fast, the gap between Ninja sword skills is not that big.
But when fighting Giyu, he gradually discovered that Giyu's attack method did not belong to the ninja swordsmanship or the swordsmanship of the Iron Kingdom samurai.
On the contrary, it is a fighting method used to fight against monster-like things that are stronger than oneself, so the range of movements is extremely exaggerated. Giyu's slashing blows mobilized all the strength in his body, leaving no room for anything.
For example, tricks such as the water wheel, Whirlpool, and Constant Flux are all accompanied by acrobatic and difficult body movements.
To be honest, it has a bit of a child's fantasy of swordsmanship in it. Itachi also defined the sword shape of Water Breathing in this way.
Without the use of chakra, Uchiha Itachi thought it would be impossible to complete those difficult actions in a very short time, but Giyu could.
This kind of swordsmanship, which is completely flawed for ninjas, seems to be natural in the hands of Giyu, with almost no weaknesses.
And after finishing a whole set, Giyu wouldn't even have trouble breathing. In other words, Giyu's swordsmanship is almost impossible to copy if it is not matched with his unique breathing.
But when Itachi Uchiha really started to use the Sharingan to imitate Giyu's breathing, he felt a strange force eroding his chakra, so he immediately stopped.
"Either, when you use water breathing, don't create chakra."
Giyu said to him, "Either make sure that the power brought by breathing from the outside can be mixed with physical energy and mental energy in a balanced proportion. But that requires at least constant concentration."
Therefore, after dinner every night, Itachi had another task, which was to learn water breathing, the kind that did not involve chakra, under the gaze of Giyu.
When he discovered that he could instantly improve his physical fitness and control while breathing, Itachi immediately understood the value of the breathing method in critical moments, so he practiced it extremely seriously.
Once he encounters a situation where chakra is insufficient, he can rely on breathing techniques to fight the enemy.
Because the full concentration and breathing method can comprehensively strengthen the body instantly, it is faster and more convenient than using chakra to activate the body, eliminating many troublesome processes and unnecessary losses in energy conversion.
It took him about a week to finally master the first nine sword styles(forms) in the complete collection of "Water Breathing", which was many times faster than the Tanjiro in his previous life.
As for the Tenth Form: Constant Flux, which requires extremely high physical fitness, he is not yet able to do it.
As for the Eleventh Form: Dead Calm, it can only be used if it reaches the normal level.
The day before Itachi was to take the chunin exam, Giyu said to him: "Water Breathing is the sword technique of protection. I hope you can rely on it to protect yourself, but try not to hurt innocent people. Is that okay?"
There is no Demon Slayer Squad in this world, and since Itachi is a family member, Giyu can teach him the breathing technique with peace of mind.
But after all, this is a sword technique created to protect people from being harmed by demons, and Giyu still hopes that it will do less killing.
"I'll remember that."
Itachi lowered his head and put his forehead against Giyu's, "Thank you, Giyu."
Although it's a bit bad to say that.
But during the more than twenty days of training with Giyu, Itachi's progress in physical skills was much greater than when he was training with Shisui.
Many times, he even suspected that Giyu had something similar to Byakugan, which could easily see through the flow of breath inside his body, making his training more effective with half the effort.
After learning the breathing technique, Itachi also successfully made up for his lack of strength.
At this point, he finally felt that he had reached the threshold of the "all-powerful ninja". There was no more suspense in the Chunin Exam, which was already a sure thing.
the next day.
Itachi's Chunin Exams were held in Sunagakure Village, and it took about a month to complete all three exams.
Sasuke seemed a little depressed without his brother by his side, and he had no energy when he went to train with Giyu.
Considering that his mother and the team she led also went to take the exam, Giyu was not worried about Itachi's safety. However, it was a pity that the flame breathing resolution, which had been growing rapidly, might have slowed down.
During these twenty days, the three brothers stayed together for about twenty-two hours a day. In addition, Itachi and Sasuke also had to train fire release ninjutsu, which made the resolution of the Flame Breathing increase at a rate of at least 0.8% every day. A sudden increase, and now the progress has reached a terrifying 36%.
But without Itachi in the next month, it would be extremely difficult to refresh the resolution at the same speed.
[Do you want to go to work with your father? ]
Just as this absurd idea came to Giyu's mind, he heard a crisp ringing sound.
He followed the sound and found three people looking awkwardly at the transparent silk thread at their feet. They were the three genin who came to trouble with Uchiha Flame that day.
"It's you again?!"
Sasuke was a little panicked at first, but when he saw Giyu standing aside expressionlessly, his expression immediately returned to normal.
"Are you here to steal the place? You won't forget the result of disturbing us last time, right?"
"Please don't get me wrong."
These three genin all looked handsome, with thin lips and sharp eyes characteristic of Uchiha, but they seemed very gentle at this moment.
The leader stepped over the warning bell set by Itachi, touched his nose and said, "Actually, we are here to say thank you."
"thank?"
Sasuke asked in confusion: "Who are you thanking? Why are you thanking me?"
"Of course, thank you for not telling others what happened that day for so long and saving our face."
Another man spoke, looking a little ashamed.
He faced Giyu and said: "When we went to the hospital for treatment, the doctor also said that the opponent must have been merciful and controlled the force, so that we would not be seriously injured. This is another thing we have to be grateful for."
Giyu remembered him as the genin who was about to tie him up with a rope.
He bowed to Giyu quite solemnly, "Besides, you are really powerful."
The other two people also nodded.
At the end of that day, Uchiha Flame was first beaten up and then sent to the security guard. And the three of them have been living in fear of being exposed in the humiliating incident of "losing to a five-year-old child three-on-two."
The Uchiha clan is a united clan. Once a clan member is targeted by an outsider, they will unanimously deal with it, regardless of whether the other party is reasonable or not.
But they are also a mean clan. For those losers and weaklings in the clan, the Uchiha clan will never give up the opportunity to laugh at them (and under the banner of opening your eyes).
The three genin hid at home for a full week, until they were sure that there were no adverse rumors related to them, and then they came back to life.
At this time, they remembered that the clan leader's son who had beaten them violently before seemed to have said that he would keep it a secret for them.
Therefore, out of gratitude for Giyu's generosity and recognition of his strength, the three of them have always wanted to find an opportunity to express their gratitude in person.
But during this period of time, the three brothers were inseparable at the training ground.
Although Uchiha Flame never said who beat him like that, according to the three genin, he could probably guess that person was definitely Uchiha Itachi.
It wasn't until today, when Uchiha Itachi went to take the Chunin Exam, that they found the courage to say thank you.
"This is a little gift."
The leading genin waved, and the one at the back immediately took out a gift box of high-end confectionery from Amaguriama from behind. (Amaguriama - the name of Konoha confectionery shop.)
"For you and your brother..."
"I am the brother!"
Sasuke yelled, seemingly unconvinced, but his eyes were looking at the pattern on the snack box.
After seeing that it was the flavor he liked, Sasuke asked: "Giyu, do you want to accept this gift?"
"This costs hundreds of thousands."
Giyu is in charge of cooking and is the richest child in the family. Of course he can see the value of the snacks, "It's so expensive."
"This is the money we saved from doing tasks during this period."
The leading genin said, "If you don't dislike it, please accept our wishes."
Seeing that the three people and Sasuke were looking at him sincerely, Giyu took the gift box.
The next moment, the prompt sounded again.
[Have become friends with Uchiha Cui, Uchiha Wen, and Uchiha Gan, and can obtain resolution. ]
Giyu was stunned, stuffed the snack box into Sasuke, and then suddenly invited the three of them: "Do you want to train with me and Sasuke?"
In this way, even though Uchiha Itachi was not around, the resolution of the Flame Breathing still maintained a rapid growth trend. After Itachi came back, his speed increased again.
It was not until four months later, on New Year's Eve, that Uchiha Giyu finally fully understood the Flame Breathing.
The only thing left to resurrect the Flame Hashira Rengoku Kyojuro is to practice the Flame Breathing to the point of normality.
