Uchiha Giyu Chapter 10
🕑 Added 2023-10-31 04:45:40 +0000 UTCChapter 10 comes to an end
Naraku is a Buddhist term that means "infinite hell".
In the absence of certainty as to whether "hell" really exists, what Naraku refers to in everyday language is nothing more than the scene a person least wants to experience.
The D-level illusion, Naraku no Jutsu, can make those avoidable scenes appear very vividly in front of people's eyes.
In other words, the power of this technique depends on how strong the individual's own fear is.
Uchiha Flame used the Sharingan to use this enhanced surgery on Giyu, completely bringing Giyu into the most terrifying hallucination, and making him completely forget his current identity.
…
"Tanjiro! That's a middle-parted gown. Don't you recognize him?"
Giyu was knocked away by Tanjiro, who had absorbed Kibutsuji Muzan's cells, and his claws tore his flesh, but that was not the source of his pain.
[Obviously we have won, we have obviously killed Kibutsuji...]
[Why did Tanjiro become a demon and overcome the sunlight——]
Giyu knelt on one knee, leaning on the blade to support his body, looking around desperately.
Beside the broken limbs and broken arms of the members of the Demon Slayer Corps everywhere, Himejima Gyōmei lowered his head and sat on the wall that was smashed by his body.
Iguro Obanai held Kanroji Mitsuri motionless in his arms and had stopped breathing.
Although Shinazugawa Sanemi is alive, judging from the panicked expressions and wounds on him, I'm afraid the situation is not much better.
[The only one who can move in the Hashira is me. ]
[Already...no one can defeat him anymore! ]
Tomioka Giyu's heart was shaken.
At this time, the pig-headed boy who went up to stop Tanjiro was wrapped around the throat by a thick bone chain and was slammed to the ground——
Under the gaze of those cruel and terrifying blood-red vertical pupils, he was smashed into a pulp one after another. Only the empty pig headband was thrown out, and he rolled bloody to Giyu's side. He was no longer a human being.
"Roar!!!!!"
Tanjiro, who had fangs, landed on all fours like a beast, looking up to the sky and roaring. The huge shock wave swept away the surrounding corpses, and countless cold, warm, and hot blood stuck to Giyu's numb face.
Tanjiro faced Giyu with a ruthless face, and seemed to have decided on the next target to kill.
[Have you really forgotten everything? Tanjiro...]
Tomioka Giyu felt so sad that his body could not move at all under the gaze of those eyes.
He lost one arm, and could no longer hold a weapon with his other hand. He had multiple fractures all over his body. He lost too much blood and could not even stand up.
He seemed to have returned to that night many years ago. He could only open his mouth helplessly as he watched his junior brother, whose hands were stained with blood, crawling towards him with a bloody nose and meaningless grunts.
[finished? ]
Tomioka Giyu closed his eyes.
[I'm really useless, I'm sorry... Lord, Master, Nezuko, and everyone else who has sacrificed their lives. ]
[A weak person like me is really not qualified to be a Hashira. ]
Just as he was preparing to meet his death, shouts rang out from all around.
"Protect the water hashira! Protect the water hashira!"
It was the voice of Murata and other surviving team members.
Giyu opened his eyes again.
"We can't let Giyu be killed by Tanjiro!"
"Stop Tanjiro! Giyu-sama, this is our last hope!"
"Stop him quickly!"
The remaining dozen team members immediately separated from the wounded who had just been treated, picked up the nearest Nichirin sword, and rushed towards Tomioka Giyu.
"Water Breathing ·First Form: Water Surface Slash!"
"Wind Breathing·Third Form: Clear Storm Wind Tree!"
None of them was Tanjiro's enemy. Their throats were ripped out, their spines were ripped out, and they were thrown all over the floor like garbage.
Tomioka Giyu saw that after all the dozen ordinary team members died, the people who didn't even know any Breathing rushed forward to block the crazy Tanjiro for him.
The remaining few people held his arms, dragged him into a corner where he was not easily found, and returned to the battlefield.
One of the hidden tribes stayed behind, and she took off her mask, revealing the face of Tomioka Tsutako. ( She is Giyu older sister )
"Giyu, Guyu, can you hear me?"
His sister looked at him with tender eyes, just as she remembered.
"What's wrong with you? Why aren't you moving?"
"Can you still understand me, Giyu?"
"Giyu, you are the only one in the Demon Slayer Squad who can defeat Tanjiro now, hurry up and move—"
Before she finished speaking, Tanjiro's shadow flew over from the battlefield, and a ferocious sharp bone pierced her sister's heart.
But Tomioka Giyu was still speechless.
He shed tears, but could do nothing but watch this familiar scene happen again.
"Giyu..."
My sister's warm hand suddenly turned cold and slid down his cheek, "You must live."
The long bone spur was like a scorpion's tail, dragging his sister's lifeless body back.
The footsteps sounded, leisurely and unhurried, even a little leisurely.
At some point, Tanjiro had resumed walking upright, but he was wearing Kibutsuji Muzan's black suit, that fancy top hat, and a frivolous smile on his face.
He put his arms around Sister Tsutako and carried her on his right shoulder. On his left hand and left shoulder, there were two corpses.
Giyu opened his eyes wide, exhausted and his body shrouded in deeper fear.
The remaining two people are Sabito and Nezuko.
Their bloodless faces were filled with disappointment, as if they were condemning the heroes.
Even they were brutally killed by the demonized Tanjiro.
"Why are you showing such an expression?"
Tanjiro looked at Giyu condescendingly, and said in the voice of Demon Kibutsuji Muzan: "I have said it before, demon hunters have brain problems, and they actually want to deal with me."
He wiped away the tears on Giyu's face with the bones stained with his sister's blood, leaving a red mark.
"Wouldn't it be better to think of me as a flood, an earthquake, or a volcanic eruption? Is there anyone who wants to avenge natural disasters?"
"Obviously, as long as you think in a different way, you can survive easily. It's not difficult at all to find a part-time job and live a good life."
"What's the result now? You have nothing left except your own life. Almost everything important and everyone you know has become a thing. To be honest, seeing you in such pain makes me sad. I can’t bear to kill you anymore.”
Having said this, Tanjiro paused, seemed to have thought of something, and grinned a very evil smile.
"Oh, I forgot, there is someone very important to you who seems to be still alive."
Giyu's heart stopped for a moment, he knew who the person Tanjiro was talking about was.
[It’s Master Urokodaki! ]
"oops."
The demonized Tanjiro's scarlet eyes glanced at the corpses of Sabito and Nezuko thoughtfully.
"I didn't send an apprenticeship gift back then, but I just made up for it now. The old man will be very happy when he sees these two gifts. After all, they and I are the children that Master Urokodaki cares about most."
As he spoke, he turned around and took steps towards the rising sun. That's the direction of Mt. Saagiri.
"Of course, I will tell him that it is thanks to your help that I can give this gift".
"Just live like this, Tomioka Giyu."
"Always protected by stronger people, always able to survive in battles, obviously the luckiest one, but you still have to live with the unluckiest face."
"That's it. Just live with me forever and ever!"
[Tanjiro! ]
Giyu watched in shock as Tanjiro walked further and further away, crying out sadly in his heart.
[please! Wake up! ]
[please! kill me! Don't disturb Master Urokodaki! ]
Tanjiro seemed to feel something and turned around slightly.
But this time, Giyu saw clearly that it was no longer Tanjiro's face, but the proud Kibutsuji Muzai himself!
He gave a mocking expression and moved on with the three corpses.
[It’s that guy! It's that guy! ]
[That’s right, how could the gentle Tanjiro do these things?! ]
[This damn scourge! ]
Tomioka Giyu's eyes widened, and the furious flames rushed towards his limbs, helping him regain control of the remains.
He stared intently at Kibutsuji Mukai's back, his mouth and nose were like factory chimneys, with endless white smoke pouring out.
[Absolutely not, let him hurt Master Urokodaki. ]
He walked towards Murata's broken arm and connected that sword-holding arm to his own arm, and it was unusually successful (because it was in a fantasy world).
[I must never let him take away Sabito, my sister, Tanjiro and Nezuko again——]
[They are all my family! ]
Murata's blue nichirin sword seemed to sense his determination, and a surge of water suddenly burst out.
It has the same desire as Giyu. Even if it exhausts all its strength and vitality, it still wants to deliver the final blow to the enemy twenty meters away.
" Water Breathing·Tenth Form..."
demon Kibutsuji Muzan seemed to sense something and turned around in surprise.
"Do you still have the strength?"
He threw away the three corpses that were on his body, which made Giyu even more angry.
"Then let me play with you!"
As he made a series of strange movements with his hands, the surrounding buildings collapsed, blocking the two of them.
The bodies of the demon slayers along the way were trampled again, and the imaginary screams completely dyed Giyu's eyes blood-red.
"Constant Flux!"
Accompanied by a terrifying dragon roar, the ferocious water dragon rushed towards the building blocking the road like a speeding train.
Giyu had never felt that he was so powerful. He rotated his body to restore the blade, and the water dragon swept out its giant tail, blasting the obstacles in front of him into large and small pieces.
And every time it spins its body, the water dragon's roar will get louder and its body will become more solid. Its two empty eyes gradually light up, as if there is a living soul living in them.
One, two, three, four, five walls——
Each one was destroyed more thoroughly than the last, especially the last three-meter-thick ruins, which were directly smashed into powder by the dragon's head!
Fear finally appeared in the demon Kibutsuji Muzan's eyes!
He suddenly jumped up high, trying to avoid the dragon's huge mouth, but how could Giyu let him go!
His feet smashed the ground violently, and the blue sword blade and the dragon head flew into the air together. The face that was called facial paralysis showed an expression more cruel than a demon!
In his anxiety, Kibutsuji Muzan made various movements with his hands and breathed out a large ball of flame, but it was instantly extinguished by the spray of water, and the rising steam was of no help at all.
Giyu turned around for the last time, and the giant dragon opened its mouth, and when he saw that he was about to kill the evil enemy on the spot——
The sun in the east suddenly turned into dozens.
Each sun became red, grew strange tomoe patterns, and rotated slowly.
The next moment, Uchiha Giyu woke up.
He was "flying" in mid-air at the moment, but he was surrounded by six or seven Shisui with three tomoe Sharingan eyes open.
[What am I doing? ! ]
Giyu didn't have time to think, and he wasn't quite sure what happened just now, but he knew that Shisui was a friend, so he quickly dissipated the chakra condensed in his hand and stopped the sword movement, but blood spilled from his mouth.
The water dragon, which was more than fifty meters long, suddenly turned into raindrops flying all over the sky to water the trees. Giyu also completely lost his strength due to the temporary change and fell towards the ground.
In mid-air, all Shisui blocking him disappeared instantly.
Just when Giyu was about to make contact with the ground, Uchiha Shisui's body suddenly appeared directly below, just in time to hold him in his arms.
Over there, Uchiha Flame, who had barely survived, was sitting on the ground sweating profusely.
After using large-scale Earth Release and several Fire Release and Great Fireballs, he almost ran out of chakra.
He had never seen a water dragon bullet that could turn corners and protect the caster, but he was in mid-air and couldn't even use the Substitute Technique.
Especially the expression the other party looked at him at the end, with such deep disgust and hatred, made him unable to help but feel frightened.
[What is the thing that the kid is most afraid of...]
But before he could recover, Uchiha Shisui put down Giyu and teleported towards him.
"Sorry, I can't let you remember this."
Shisui stared at Uchiha Flame's eyes, and the three tomoe in his left eye turned five or six times, until it started to transform, and then he succeeded in making Uchiha Flame fall over.
He just modified some small details in his memory. There was no need to use the Mangekyō Sharingan technique, the simplified illusion technique was enough.
When Uchiha Flame wakes up, he will forget that Giyu possesses the Sharingan, and will regard the water dragon bullet as Shisui's masterpiece.
As long as his pupil power cannot surpass Shisui, the original memory cannot be revived.
After doing all this, Shisui teleported back to Uchiha Giyu.
"Giyu, you really impressed me this time."
Shisui carefully took away the ninja sword from Giyu's hand and threw it far away, then pointed behind him, "Of course, it won't be easy for me to deal with the aftermath later."
Giyu turned his head, his eyes widening in disbelief.
The originally neat center area of the performance venue has become a muddy ruin.
The arc-shaped tunnel, more than two meters wide, ran through a full distance of twenty to thirty meters. The training ground seemed to have been plowed by a huge plow, not to mention the broken stones around it...
"Did I do this?"
he asked hoarsely.
He saw Sasuke slumped on the opposite side of the tunnel, breathing heavily, as if he had seen something terrible.
It's just that Giyu is exhausted now and has no extra energy to go over and comfort him.
"Yeah, have you completely forgotten?"
Shisui patted Giyu on the shoulder, "You defeated a Special Jounin head-on. You did this on the first day of practicing chakra extraction. You are really amazing."
[Although I don’t think anyone else can do it. ]
He carefully observed Giyu's face, filled with curiosity.
He wanted to know what was going on with the water release that was even more difficult to deal with than the water dragon bullet?
The water dragon, which cannot be avoided and whose power is constantly increasing, can also move forward with the caster, and can even change the attack direction at will along with the physical skills. It is not considered to be an A-level ninjutsu.
Let’s not talk about speed, but at least it looks much more spectacular than Kakashi-senpai’s Raikiri.
The most important thing is that this technique does not require any seals!
And Giyu's sharp sword skills for chopping large earth flow walls, could it be practice by chopping vegetables in the kitchen?
Shisui, who thought he had seen a lot of strange things, was really shocked by Giyu's performance today. It was a pity that Itachi was not here, otherwise he would have seen his expression.
Didn't you see Sasuke over there and was already frightened?
[I really should take a photo of him with a camera and show it to him when he grows up...]
Giyu felt nothing about Shisui's compliments, but instead lowered his head in depression.
[It would be great if I had such power at that time. ]
He looked at his painful and hot right hand and knew that he was in a genjutsu state. Like the previous genin, he subconsciously mobilized chakra to cover the muscles near the acupuncture points in his hand, so he could cause such great damage.
As for the ninja sword, it was just a fill-in.
Although this power surprised him, it came too late.
Another thing that bothered him was that he had lost control just now and almost killed the child.
"Where are the other three?"
Glancing at the sleeping Uchiha Flame over there, Giyu remembered the affairs of the other three Uchiha genin.
If such a big movement affects the three of them...
"You are too kind. Why don't you teach them a lesson? So they won't bother you anymore."
Seeing Giyu's face getting paler, Uchiha Shisui quickly pointed to the three people hanging neatly on the tree over there, "Don't worry, everything is fine. The most seriously injured person here is you."
He looked a little more serious and said to Giyu: "Remember, you must not use up all your chakra and physical strength at once in the future. Otherwise, you will die."
Giyu sensed his body, and it was exactly as Shisui said.
The chakra refined in the morning has been completely exhausted, but there is still unconverted [physical strength] left, but not much, reaching the edge of danger.
It seems that the circulation of such great power comes at a price.
"I see."
Giyu stood up holding his shoulders, "Take me to Sasuke."
"No need, someone will bring him here."
As soon as Shisui finished speaking, Giyu saw Itachi's figure appearing next to Sasuke.
Itachi first looked at the messy ground at a loss, a trace of surprise flashed in his eyes, and then asked Sasuke a question, but Sasuke just stared ahead with an ugly expression.
He seemed frightened.
There was no other way, so Itachi had no choice but to carry him on his back and walk towards Giyu and Shisui.
Seeing Itachi's questioning expression, Shisui shook his head slightly and said, "Go and send these two children home first. We'll talk about it later when we clean up here."
Itachi glanced at Giyu's swollen right hand and knew that Shisui was right and that he had to treat the injury first.
He created two shadow clones, one as Shisui's "helper" and the other as a volunteer.
Then Itachi's true body nodded gratefully to Shisui, and left with the brothers Giyu and Sasuke.
The shadow clone came to Shisui and listened to him talk about what just happened.
…
The three brothers - plus a shadow clone, the four brothers - remained silent all the way.
Itachi could feel Sasuke's whole body being cold, while Giyu was visibly exhausted. Unfortunately, Shisui's clone hasn't been lifted yet, and he doesn't know exactly what happened, but he can guess some things.
The dragon roars just now and the traces on the ground should be caused by water dragon bullets.
But Shisui doesn't have water-type chakra.
Uchiha Flame was a potential enemy that could cause trouble. Itachi also knew his situation, and he was also not qualified to release large-scale water release ninjutsu.
So the only possible answer...
Itachi Uchiha sighed.
Too many things happened today, and each one of them made him, a young man, feel very troublesome.
Fortunately, my father didn't know much.
He lurked there when the three brothers started to have lunch. He asked the jounin of the clan to attract Uchiha Flame. He wanted to use his bad temper to make the two brothers suffer a little bit, so as to inspire Giyu to learn tolerance.
After all, how many children can tolerate being bullied? Even if Giyu doesn't take him seriously, what if he sees Sasuke being bullied?
In his father's opinion, although this move is a bit despicable, it is already a better choice. Otherwise, he would have to work with the jounin in the clan to find a solution, and then Giyu would truly lose his freedom.
After thinking about it for a while, Itachi decided to reach an agreement with his father, and both parties took a step back.
First, his father hid the story of Giyu from his clan.
Secondly, Itachi will induce Giyu to learn ninjutsu, especially to get Giyu to agree to go to ninja school.
Third, Itachi promised his father to take part in the chunin exam next month, and later joined the ANBU as arranged by his father and became a spy placed by Uchiha in the Hokage.
But what he never expected was that the higher-ups in the village had exactly the same idea.
After returning home, he carried Sasuke and Giyu to the room and let them rest for a while. He personally went to find a familiar medical ninja to treat Giyu - he had used shadow clones too many times today, and there was not much chakra left.
In the empty room, only Sasuke and Giyu were left. Similar faces, similar expressions.
After a long time, Giyu stretched out his hand to Sasuke. He felt that any child in the family would be frightened when they saw that scene, so it was best to comfort them like Nezuko.
What he didn't expect was that Sasuke turned around and gave him a firm hug first.
"Giyu, from now on, I will never make you cry again."
He remembered the words of a general described in the Little Man's Book.
If a person who you thought would never cry suddenly cries so desperately, he must be experiencing great pain.
Compared with the strength shown by Giyu, those tears were more shocking to Sasuke.
Giyu was stunned and put his good hand around Sasuke's shoulder without saying anything.
