Uchiha Giyu Chapter 07
🕑 Added 2023-10-31 04:42:38 +0000 UTCChapter 7 Melted Test Paper ( part 2 )
"Giyu, do you have any questions about what I said?"
Ten minutes later, Uchiha Itachi stopped writing and drawing on the earth wall with his ninja sword.
It was different from when he explained it to Sasuke, he had to use many vivid and cute images.
Giyu has a strong ability to understand, so Itachi directly introduced many specialized terms and explained in detail the four processes of refining chakra and then converting it into eye power.
The first step is to evenly mix the mental energy and physical energy in the body into [physical energy].
The second step is to convert [physical strength] into chakra.
The third step is to transfer the chakra produced in the abdomen to the internal organs through the veins for storage.
The fourth and final part is to shunt the stored chakra to the chakra acupuncture points near the eyes as a reserve food to maintain the Sharingan.
Sounds simple?
In fact, if you can skillfully complete the third step and have enough chakra storage to release two rounds of the Three Body Technique, you have met the graduation requirements for the Ninjutsu subject of the Ninja School.
Most civilian graduates are at this level when they are twelve years old, while those students from family backgrounds master these contents around the age of ten.
A genius like Sasuke has been extracting chakra for more than half a year now, and has just entered the third step. He can only store chakra slightly, otherwise the huge fire ball he blows will not be as simple as lighting a candle.
[I just don’t know how long it will take for Giyu to be able to use the Sharingan stably...]
[Maybe, about a year? ]
"It's okay for now."
Giyu nodded seriously.
Even if Uchiha Itachi didn't talk so much, he still used [Transparent World] to get a general idea.
Now, after opening the transparency again, he can not only see the bones, muscles, and blood vessels of the human body, but also a whole set of chakra veins and acupuncture points. He can accurately see the trajectory and direction of the opponent's chakra flow, including its formation. , the entire process of transformation.
As everyone knows, even if Giyu does not open the Bloodline Limit,
He can achieve the basic abilities of Sharingan + Byakugan - insight and perspective using only his innate [Transparency to the World].
Uchiha Itachi nodded approvingly: "Giyu is indeed very smart. Then I will teach Sasuke Shuriken and kunai throwing Technique first. You sit here quietly for a while and try to see if you can complete the first and second steps at once."
When Sasuke heard that training was about to start, he wiped his mouth and looked like I was going to perform well today.
Giyu tilted his head: "Do you have to go far for training?"
[I have to stay within two meters of them. ]
Little did he know how cute he looked when he showed doubts.
[It’s rare to see Giyu look so cute. ]
[Should I buy a camera later? ]
Itachi narrowed his eyes, covering the twinkling stars, "We will train not far away, otherwise we will disturb you. This is the first time to extract chakra, so it is better to sit quietly."
"I'll follow you."
Giyu didn't explain. He covered the food with a lid and said calmly, "Let's go."
Itachi and Sasuke looked at each other.
Itachi: [Giyu is a little strange today. ]
Sasuke: [Is there something wrong? ]
Although they were confused, they didn't want to go against Giyu's wishes, so they took him to an open space surrounded by several big trees in the forest.
Red and white targets are hung on the trunks, treetops and behind the leaves of these big trees, with large and small dense dents on them. This is where Itachi and Sasuke specialize in practicing shuriken and kunai throwing.
Giyu said nothing, quietly watching his two brothers find their positions, and then——
He sat cross-legged in the middle between the two people.
Itachi and Sasuke: "?"
"Giyu, do you have to sit here?"
Sasuke scratched his head with the handle of the kunai, "You can get hurt accidentally."
As always, he couldn't quite understand the other party's purpose.
"You can't hurt me."
Giyu said with absolute certainty, "Itachi won't hurt me."
Sasuke's face swelled and turned visibly red with embarrassment. [Would you like to learn how to light candles? ] came into his mind again.
Fortunately, Giyu took the next sentence.
"I want to be closer to you."
After finishing speaking, he looked left and right with doubtful eyes, sizing up the expressions of the two of them, "Isn't it possible?"
Sasuke felt that the red clouds covering his head were suddenly penetrated by sunlight.
Want to get closer to us?
Compared to Giyu's usual iceberg-like attitude, Sasuke felt a little like crying.
This is the surprise brought by contrast.
At this time, Itachi, who was confused but said [my brother can do whatever he wants] spoke, "In that case, Giyu will be here. As long as I am here, Sasuke will not be able to hit you."
"good."
Giyu nodded gratefully, "Don't leave me more than two meters away."
As he spoke, he stared at Itachi and emphasized, "Especially Itachi."
Uchiha Itachi has Sharingan, and his chakra contains Yin attributes, which can brush the resolution of the Moon Breathing, which Sasuke does not have for the time being. Moreover, the resolution provided by Itachi every time was twice that of Sasuke.
"Ok, no problem."
Itachi felt that he was being relied on by his younger brother, with a warm smile on his face, and speculated that it was the birthday gift he gave to Giyu yesterday that brought them closer.
Although the details have not yet been sorted out, a sense of accomplishment has gradually taken root in his heart.
Itachi's expression at this moment was in sharp contrast to Sasuke's stiff face.
[What's the meaning? When did your relationship become so good? ]
Sasuke's eyes flickered back and forth between the two of them, his mouth slowly opened, and his skin looked a little pale.
[Could it be that Giyu suddenly realized that he wanted to snatch my brother from me? ]
[No! No! No! Why is Itachi so happy? Could it be that he wants to compete with me for Giyu? ]
[Me and Giyu are twins sleeping in the same bed! ]
[no! My brother is mine! My brother is mine too! No one can steal it from me. Obviously I came first...]
For a moment, he suddenly didn't know who he should be jealous of.
"Then Sasuke, let's get started."
Itachi didn't notice anything was wrong with Sasuke and asked with a smile: "Yesterday I taught you the technique of throwing three shurikens at the same time. Do you remember?"
"Don't underestimate me!"
Sasuke shouted angrily, holding three shurikens from his waist bag with his left hand and shooting forward, but because he used too much strength, only one hit the target, and the other two flew out from above the target and landed in the forest.
"You've regressed, Sasuke."
"That's all your fault!"
"Why are you suddenly unhappy?"
"I'm not unhappy!"
"How do you learn how to speak like Giyu?"
In this way, during the conversation between Sasuke and Itachi mixed with training, Giyu entered a state of trance and turned a deaf ear to the noise. Even in extremely dangerous conditions, being able to concentrate on maintaining breathing techniques is the basic condition for becoming an excellent swordsman, and Giyu has long been used to it.
At this moment, he is using the physical micro-manipulation ability brought by [Transparency] to control the physical energy from the cells all over the body, as well as the spiritual energy from the "cultivation experience" to gather in the abdomen, and form a slowly rotating cyclone with a scale of Far from being comparable to Sasuke…
Giyu's body has been strengthened by the power of nature since he mastered the water breathing Constant half a year ago, so he has extracted a lot of energy from his body.
If Fourth Hokage Wife, Uzumaki Kushina , was still alive, she would find that what Giyu possesses is an acquired but still growing [Sage Body]. Although it is not as exaggerated as the Uzumaki clan, its essence is Very similar.
As for the spiritual strength that is equally mixed with physical strength, it comes from the experience of fighting demons in Giyu's previous life for seven years, which is also not uncommon.
Therefore, the energy extracted by Giyu is much more exaggerated than Sasuke.
[Next, as long as the cyclone is accelerated, chakra will be formed——]
However, changes occurred suddenly.
The third force, following Giyu's water breathing, rampaged like a ferocious beast and broke into Giyu's abdomen!
[This is……]
Giyu opened his eyes, [The power the breathing method obtains from the outside world? ]
In the center of Konoha, at the exotic insect snack bar opened by the Aburame clan, two toads roasting cricket skewers stopped and exchanged glances with each other.
"Jiraiya is back?"
The toad on the left asked in confusion, "Didn't you say that he was collecting materials from Tang Ninja Village?"
"This is the news that someone is practicing sage arts. Who else in Konoha Village can practice sage arts besides him?"
The toad on the right was not so fussy, "But he actually dares to play like this outside Mount Myōboku. He is so brave. Maybe he will turn into a toad made of stone -"
The toads who practice senjutsu all know that natural energy is different from the chakra extracted from the ninja's own body. It is a very violent force.
This energy is not harmful to the toads who have been living in this world, but humans who only started to possess chakra a thousand years ago cannot maintain a 1:1:1 balance between physical energy, spiritual energy and natural energy when they practice sage mode. proportion, it will be eroded by natural energy.
Taking Jiraiya as an example, he was unable to maintain this proportion stably, so every time he used Senjutsu, his face would appear with characteristics unique to a toad. This was only the result of a slight imbalance.
If he absorbs far more natural energy than the other two, he will turn into a stone toad and never be the same again.
What Giyu experienced at this time was exactly this kind of danger. Once he makes a serious mistake, he becomes part of nature.
He had never practiced chakra before, so the natural energy brought in by the water breathing was just like the water flowing through the body, subtly adjusting his physique.
But when he began to refine chakra, the two energies from different sources clashed.
"hiss--"
Giyu remained motionless, frowning and glancing at his little finger.
When the force from the outside rushed into his abdomen, it broke the balance with the other two forces, preventing the cyclone from taking shape, and the muscles and skin of his little finger immediately turned translucent ice blue. Like a jellyfish. Giyu could see his finger bones through his skin.
And the stinging pain that came from time to time made him know that he might have messed up. Judging from the mutation characteristics, if he continues like this, he may turn into an ice sculpture jellyfish.
He wanted to ask Uchiha Itachi what was going on, but he couldn't be distracted and talk now.
Because in that case, the three energies in the body will only become more chaotic.
[Balance, balance, balance...]
Giyu closed his eyes and used [Transparency] to carefully control his breathing, deliberately reducing the efficiency of water breathing and the speed of external energy entering the body!
Little did he know that the troubles that had troubled practitioners of sage mode for many years were solved by his innate ability.
After about five breaths (that is, five minutes), a larger cyclone finally appeared in Giyu's belly.
As the speed gradually increased, a new energy was formed, and Giyu felt a bulging feeling in his stomach.
[Is this the chakra of ninjas? ]
it's not true.
Giyu didn't know that he just accidentally created the so-called [Senjutsu Chakra].
The next thing is relatively simple for Giyu who can see chakra paths.
He directed the chakra formed in his abdomen to his internal organs along the paths, and concentrated it in his heart. After an unknown amount of time, he finally felt a sense of overflowing.
At this point, the third step mentioned by Uchiha Itachi has been completed.
Finally, the chakra stored in the body is shunted into the chakra acupuncture point that controls the Sharingan——
Outside, Uchiha Itachi, who was teaching Sasuke how to throw kunai, subconsciously turned around and stared at a pair of Sharingan.
"?"
He blinked sharply, and his first reaction was that he had seen it wrong.
[How could it be so fast? ]
[It’s been less than a day? ]
Later, it was Sasuke's exclamation that pulled him out of his mental shock.
"Giyu, is this your Sharingan?"
Sasuke wiped his hands on his clothes, squatted down with curiosity on his face, held Giyu's face and looked at him, "Do you feel anything unusual?"
"Um……"
Giyu's "Chakra" was full, so he stopped the processing process of the cyclone in his body and thought seriously about Sasuke's question.
“I see more colors.”
For example, Sasuke's face looked just a healthy white-pink color before, but now he can even distinguish five different color patches on Sasuke's face.
Then, he opened [Transparent World] and superimposed it with the dynamic visual effects of Sharingan——
[Sasuke's blood flow seems to have slowed down again...]
"Your movements are even slower."
"Elder brother?"
Sasuke turned his head with envy and looked at Itachi who was definitely not happy, "Is this the power of the Sharingan?"
"Well, the Sharingan has the power of insight similar to a microscope and a magnifying glass. The movements it sees are as slow as a decelerated movie. In addition, it also has the ability to cast and rebound illusions without hand signs..."
Itachi slowly introduced, "However, the specific effect still depends on the strength of the user's eyes. If it is the Three Tomoe Sharingan, the shuriken you just threw will be as slow as falling leaves in the opponent's eyes. .”
"Okay, so awesome!"
Sasuke became even more envious, "Then when can I have my own Sharingan like Giyu?"
"..."
[When something unfortunate happens. ]
Itachi wanted to say, "It will happen naturally when you grow up," but the counterexample of Giyu was right in front of him, and he obviously couldn't cope with Sasuke's enthusiasm.
So he was silent for a while and squatted down, reaching the same height as Sasuke, and said very gently: "When you need to become stronger, the Sharingan will awaken. But now I... and Giyu will take care of you. You, so you don’t need to open your eyes yet.”
"..." This time it was Sasuke's turn to be silent. He vaguely felt that his brother's expectations for him seemed to be very different from his father's.
The elder brother didn't want him to open his eyes.
Although he didn't know why, Itachi wouldn't harm him. Sasuke was convinced of this.
A faint tearing feeling appeared in his chest. He wanted to gain his father's recognition, but he also didn't want to go against his brother's wishes.
So he turned to look at Giyu, hoping to get the answer from the third person.
But this time, he seemed to have discovered some clues…
"Why, I feel that the color of Giyu's Sharingan is different from when my father showed it to me in the morning?"
He asked a question, his whole face almost touching Giyu's nose, "It seems a little shallower..."
"Yeah?"
Giyu was stunned for a moment and cast a questioning look at Itachi, "Is it caused by the power of the eyes?"
"No, the eye power will only affect the effectiveness of the Sharingan, which is reflected in the number of tomoe in the eyes."
Itachi also moved closer. He first asked Giyu to face the light, and then faced him. Only then did he confirm that Giyu's eye color was different from his father's, and it was definitely not just an illusion.
Giyu's Sharingan is not scarlet like blood, full of ferocious violence, but the color of the orange-purple clouds reflected on the water in the evening, cold and warm, just like a normal Sharingan. There was a layer of light blue mist over his eyes.
Only then did Itachi realize that Giyu's natural eye color was different from the pure black of his clansmen, but a lonely deep blue.
Maybe it's because of this that his Sharingan looks so...gentle?
"When you were normal, your eyes looked more scary."
Sasuke said what Itachi wanted to say, "Dad is different."
"Can you close the Sharingan skillfully?"
Itachi asked.
"I can."
Giyu controlled the chakra in his eyes to return to his original appearance.
[Although it’s not a good idea to say this. ]
After staring at Giyu for a while, Itachi Uchiha thought to himself.
[I'm afraid Giyu is the only child in the Uchiha clan whose eyes are more reassuring to look at than when they are not open. ]
"As long as you can switch it on and off freely, it won't be a big problem."
Itachi paused, "If you want to improve your pupil power, just use the Sharingan's ability more often. Generally speaking, people in the clan will train the Three Tomoe within four or five years after opening their eyes. If they encounter some emotional stimulation, It will be faster, but this method is not very stable."
[The premise of Three Tomoe is that their chakra amount must be close to the jounin level, otherwise their character will undergo unpredictable changes. ]
"As for those illusions that rely on Sharingan..."
Itachi opened his Sharingan, and the three tomoe slowly rotated in a circle. Itachi in Giyu's eyes immediately turned into a huge crow, and in the blink of an eye, he turned into Itachi's original appearance.
Directly forming images in other people's minds is the basic application of Sharingan genjutsu. Of course, it is also the easiest to crack. Itachi just demonstrated it to Giyu.
"You can learn it if you need it. The specific content is on a few stone tablets at the clan's shrine. You can see it as long as the Sharingan is turned on."
The moment Itachi's illusion ended, a sound sounded in Giyu's head.
[Uchiha Itachi used Sharingan Eye Technique beside you, the Moon Breathing Resolution +0.003%, current progress is 10.003%. ]
Giyu was overjoyed at first, and then he discovered that the resolution improvement value of the Moon's Breathing was not the same as the Flame Breathing 0.03, but 0.003!
In other words, it is ten times more difficult to completely analyze the Moon Breathing than the Flame Breathing!
[The 10% I already have should be that I have a one tomoe Sharingan, just like the basic 20% of the Flame Breathing resolution, because I am an Uchiha and i am born with the fire attribute. ]
[If the pupil power of the Sharingan increases, will it directly increase the progress by 10% or 20% when it comes to the second and third tomoe? ]
[But in this case, the Sharingan must be used frequently. The Uchiha genjutsu Itachi mentioned just now...]
"No need."
Giyu shook his head, "I don't want to learn the Uchiha clan's art."
He felt that since he did not intend to serve the Uchiha clan and become a ninja, he had no reason or qualification to learn and teach ninjutsu, just like a person who did not kill demons had no reason or qualification to learn the breathing sword style.
[As for improving pupil power, just cook with your Sharingan.]
Just when Giyu was about to ask what time it was, Giyu heard a new notification tone.
[After spending 4 hours in close proximity with Uchiha Itachi, the Flame Breathing resolution +0.04%, the Wind Breathing resolution +0.02%, and the Moon Breathing resolution +0.03%]
[Being in close proximity with Uchiha Sasuke for 4 hours the Flame Breathing resolution 0.03% and the Thunder Breathing resolution 0.01%. ]
[It has been four hours. ]
Giyu was slightly shocked, looked at Itachi and asked directly: "Do you have wind-type chakra?"
"Um?"
Uchiha Itachi looked at Giyu strangely, "How do you know?"
Giyu lowered his head and did not answer.
He now knows that Sasuke and Itachi, in addition to fire attribute chakra, should also have thunder attributes and wind attributes respectively.
Seeing that Giyu didn't want to answer, Itachi just assumed that he had seen him use the Wind Release Ninjutsu sometime before, and didn't dwell too much on it.
"It's already noon, the morning training is almost over, Sasuke."
Itachi held up his hands and his head, showing a satisfied smile, "Besides, since Giyu has successfully refined chakra, it's time to test your chakra attributes."
Sasuke looked expectant again, "What should we do?"
"There are special test papers, but most ninjas only use these when they reach the level of chunin. You are far ahead of schedule."
Itachi took out two palm-sized pieces of paper from his pocket and handed them to Giyu and Sasuke one by one, "Concentrate your chakra in your hands, and the paper will automatically react. If it is a fire attribute, the paper will burn; the thunder element will wrinkle; the water element will be moist; the wind element will tear; the earth element will shatter."
"What if there's more than one?"
Sasuke is worried that he only has one chakra attribute.
"You'll know after you try it."
Itachi smiled and said, "Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with either."
[Dad is not talking about you then.]
Sasuke wrinkled his nose to express his dissatisfaction, and then slowly directed chakra to his hands through his veins.
From this point, we can see that the biggest difference between Sasuke and Giyu is that Giyu can clearly see the location of each chakra path, thus saving a lot of time.
It wasn't until fifteen seconds later that the paper in Sasuke's hand changed!
The right half of the paper ignited a flame, but the left half suddenly shrunk like a peeled candy wrapper, with clear boundaries, each occupying one-half.
"You can rest assured now."
Itachi looked as happy as Sasuke, "It's fire and thunder. Fire Release and Thunder Release are both very powerful ninjutsu."
"Really? That would be great."
Sasuke extinguished the weak flame and kept the used test strip as a souvenir.
"Now it's Giyu—"
Before Uchiha Itachi finished speaking, Giyu's chakra instantly spread to his hand, as if he had practiced it ten thousand times.
As expected, the test paper in his hand started to burn from one side.
But the next moment.
The test paper bent and melted like hanging wax, as if it had been soaked in water for three days and three nights. The area gradually expanded from a small corner to the entire paper. Even the newly burned part was covered by the moisture that represented water. The coverage is gradually extinguished.
Itachi's eyes widened.
[This, this is…]
This means that Giyu, in addition to the fire attribute passed down from generation to generation by Uchiha, also possesses the opposite, the most extreme water attribute!
This kind of affinity is probably only matched by the Second Hokage and the ninja demigod Hanzō of the Salamander!
Did the Uchiha clan actually produce a water release genius?
