Uchiha Giyu Chapter 2
🕑 Added 2023-10-29 04:26:08 +0000 UTCChapter 2 "Minato-sensei's Recipe"
As soon as Uchiha Giyu entered the main gate of the clan, he encountered a medium-sized dog wearing sunglasses and a vest.
It was originally entrenched at the entrance, lazily basking in the sun to replenish vitamin D, but the moment it sensed Giyu, it immediately turned over, its small and cute nose wrinkled like a wolf, and opened its mouth wide to eat at Giyu. Barking wildly, as if he smelled something dirty on him that ordinary people couldn't detect.
Giyu stared at it blankly, with no intention of fighting it, so he planned to take a detour.
But this dog understood the essence of King Qin's ability to circle the pillars. In two or three steps, he blocked Giyu directly in front of him, cursing and barking non-stop.
If Giyu goes to the left, it also goes to the left.
Giyu went to the right, and he also went to the right.
When Giyu advances, he retreats.
In short, he was determined to block the road.
The noise made by the dog attracted many Uchiha people to look this way, and their faces suddenly became very excited.
"Isn't that the patriarch's son? He was actually stopped by a dog?"
"A ninja dog, that kid has never even participated in one training session, so it's normal to be scared."
"You're five years old and haven't started training yet? Does Fugaku think Itachi is already good enough, so he relaxes the education of his two younger sons?"
"Probably only this kid named Giyu is like this. I saw the other day that the kid named Sasuke is already very proficient in the clone technique and has a very good talent..."
"Yes, Mikoto said, there is only this child named Giyu. He has not been interested in becoming a ninja since he was a child, but he likes to do housework very much. It would be great if he is a girl."
"Is it at this juncture? The conflict between the village and us Uchiha may break out at any time. People without power will only become a burden. Huh, I don't know what Fugaku thinks. It seems that I have to talk to him. ”
"But having said that, Mikoto's three children are all very good-looking."
"That's true. But this child... seems to have facial paralysis."
…
The voices of the clansmen talking were not too quiet, but Giyu turned a deaf ear to them.
He stared at the ninja dog in front of him, wondering if the other person's sight hidden behind his sunglasses had seen through his "true identity".
Yes, Uchiha Giyu is not just a simple five-year-old child.
In his own words, he was just a thief who stole this childish body.
As for the soul in the body, it comes from a world and belongs to a man named Tomioka Giyu.
In Tomioka Giyu's original world, he was once a demon hunter, with the goal of killing Demons.
Because his dependent sister was killed by a demon, Tomioka Giyu joined a civilian armed organization called the "Demon Slayer Squad" when he was thirteen. At the age of seventeen, he became one of the nine strongest swordsmen in the organization. Because of his Mastery on The water breathing and its supporting swordsmanship are respectfully called [Water Hashira].
At the age of twenty-one, Giyu had to overdraw his life and activate [Demon Slayer Mark] to increase his combat effectiveness in order to fight against the Ruler of Demons, Kibutsuji Muzan. Finally, he and other team members worked together to successfully eradicate Kibutsuji Muzan.
But the Demon Slayer Corps also paid a heavy price. Not to mention almost all its members were killed or injured, and the remaining powerful swordsmen also died shortly after turning on their markings. They could live up to twenty-five years old.
Tomioka Giyu died peacefully in the Demon Slayer Cemetery on his twenty-third birthday.
(This article cancels the setting that Tomioka Giyu has descendants, as it is written in the introduction.)
However, before his death, he finally reached the "supreme realm" of a warrior and mastered the observation skill called [Transparent World], which is something to be proud of.
Originally, Giyu thought that after his death, he would meet his long-dead parents, sister and teammates in the afterlife.
But when he opened his eyes again, he became a newborn ninja named Uchiha Giyu, and he still had the memories of his previous life.
Now five years have passed, and Giyu still cannot accept his new identity.
He believed that he had unintentionally stolen a child's chance to live in the world. He could never call himself the "real" son of the Uchiha couple.
(Note: Here we need to consider the historical background of Giyu’s life and his experience in dealing with demons. Don’t substitute the common saying of modern time travelers, “I’ll settle for you as soon as you come”.)
In order to make up for the debt in his heart, and to repay the Uchiha couple for their upbringing, Giyu took over the housework of the Uchiha Fugaku family from the age of three, taking care of and protecting their other two children, Itachi and Sasuke regards it as his most important duty and responsibility.
At the same time, the reason why Giyu does not participate in training is because he feels that he is just an outsider after all and is not qualified to learn other people's family skills.
On the other hand, Giyu did not intend to be a ninja who would take people's lives upon receiving orders, so so far he has only practiced the water breathing engraved in his soul and reached the Middle level.
Maybe it's because the physical fitness of humans in this world is generally very good, and he is an Uchiha. He has been familiar with water breathing since he was a child, and he can never make mistakes, which does not put much burden on his body.
Anyway.
Just as Uchiha Giyu was thinking about breaking off a piece of carrot to lure the dog away, a familiar voice came from the distance.
"Kakashi-senpai, keep an eye on your ninja dog. If you scare Giyu, I won't be able to tell the clan leader."
Giyu calmly cast his gaze over.
The speaker was a cute, tall, baby-faced ninja. The hilt of a ninja sword was exposed from the back of his neck. He seemed to be about the same age as Tanjiro. His shallow tear trough gave him a trustworthy feeling. .
Giyu knew this person. That was Uchiha Shisui, his brother Uchiha Itachi's friend. The 17-year-old had a 14-year-old face. He often went to his house. He loved to talk to Giyu and would bring little books to Sasuke, so Giyu loved him. Very fond of him.
Because of the close distance between Shisui and Itachi, Giyu once observed each other using the "Transparent World" and found that Shisui, like his father Uchiha Fugaku, had accumulated a whole group of extremely dark energy in the brain. Much richer than ordinary clansmen.
The feeling that that power gives Giyu, although not as extreme and pure evil as Kibutsuji Muzan, is very ominous, and I wonder if it will become a hidden danger.
When the nearby Uchiha people saw Shisui, their expressions were different.
The older people stared at him angrily, as if they were angry, while the young people looked at him with a lot of admiration in their eyes.
Of course, in the eyes of Giyu, who is not good at distinguishing emotions, the difference is not big.
"Ah. Sorry, sorry."
Walking side by side with Shisui was a masked man covering his left eye with a forehead protector, holding a cardboard box in his hand.
His expression was very similar to that of the yellow-haired team member next to Tanjiro when he went on a mission. He looked dazed, as if he was about to fall asleep. Moreover, the tone of his apology was insincere and extremely perfunctory.
to be honest
Giyu's first impression of him...
Pretty average.
"Aquino, don't bully the children."
Following Kakashi's call, the dog wearing sunglasses ran up to Kakashi and let out a series of unexplained growls, which seemed to be speaking ill of Giyu.
After hearing this, Kakashi turned his right eye thoughtfully around Giyu, then freed up his right hand and patted the dog's head: "You like to be nosy. If you do this again next time, I will not call you again. ”
Aquino immediately wrinkled his nose, opened his mouth and lunged at Kakashi's wrist.
Kakashi rolled his eyes and formed a seal, and the ninja dog immediately turned into a ball of white smoke and disappeared.
[Summoning? ]
Giyu had seen Itachi and Shisui use this technique, and they had summoned cats and crows respectively.
[It turns out that this is not Uchiha's family ninjutsu. Maybe I can learn it later and let the animals go grocery shopping to save time...]
Giyu stared at Kakashi for a while, ignoring others and walking in the direction of his home, as if these two adults were not worth his attention.
Shisui was already very familiar with his style, so he took a step forward to stop him and looked down at the two bulging plastic bags.
"Two big salmon."
There was a hint of surprise on Shisui's face.
"Are you going to make a salmon feast today? It's really rich and luxurious. You are so capable, Giyu."
He noticed that the plastic bag had the mark of the Akimichi family, which meant that the fish should have been raised by the Akimichi family using secret methods. It was more nutritious than wild salmon, but of course the price was also ridiculously expensive.
Such a fish at the BBQ will probably cost tens of thousands of Ryō just for the materials (1 ryō = 10 yen), not to mention the labor costs of deboning, dethorning and cutting.
The reward for a C-level mission should not be enough.
"Today is Sasuke's birthday."
Giyi replied concisely, "I want to eat better."
Shisui's smile solidified on his face.
[Last time for Patriarch Fugaku’s birthday, didn’t you just make a bowl of soba noodles? ]
[You and Itachi just spoiled that brat. Oops, I really envy Itachi. He can eat delicious food after get off work every day...]
"Oh, Don't forget about your birthday." Shisui patted his head, " Giyu, you are twins, and today is also your birthday."
"Sasuke and I are different."
Giyu shook his head and solemnly emphasized.
"I know, I know. You know how to do housework. You are already an adult, so you don't bother to celebrate a child's birthday."
Shisui was perfunctory, reaching out and rummaging around for a while, "Oops, except for the explosive tag, I don't have anything valuable as a gift for you. I have a mission tonight, and it will be too late to give you a gift when I come back."
After saying that, he looked at Kakashi holding the cardboard box and seemed to have an idea in his mind.
"Senior, let me introduce you to him. This cute little brother is named Giyu, and he is the son of the Fugaku clan leader."
After saying that, he turned back to introduce Giyu: "This is Hatake Kakashi, my senior at work. Yesterday, an old member from the clan passed away due to illness in Konoha Hospital. As for that grandma, she used to take good care of one of Kakashi-senpai’s teammates(obito uchiha), so I brought him to the clan to pack up the belongings she left behind.”
Hearing this, Giyu looked slightly stunned.
Death, he was already familiar with it.
But, where will the people who die in this world go?
Will he go to the next world with his memories like him? So where has everyone gone who once fought side by side with him?
When he thinks of this matter, he will feel complicated.
Shisui noticed the subtle change in Giyu's expression and was slightly surprised.
He knew that this child could neither laugh nor cry since he was born, but this was the first time he had seen such a sad expression.
[Itachi, your brother's first time, I accept it without mercy. ]
"Now that you already know each other, Kakashi-senpai..."
Shisui smiled slyly, revealing his true intention, "Today happens to be Giyu's birthday. Do you have any gifts for him?"
Kakashi rolled his eyes for the second time.
[You forgot to give him a gift, now do you want me to make up for it? ]
He reluctantly reached for his pocket.
"It doesn't matter what book Jiraiya-sama wrote, Giyu may not be able to understand such profound things."
Shisui waved his hands quickly and said.
[If you give him that kind of thing, Aunt Mikoto will kill me. ]
"That's a collector's edition. You think so."
The corners of Kakashi's mouth twitched under his mask, and he turned his attention to Giyu again, focusing mainly on the ingredients in his hands.
"Since you like cooking..."
He took out a stack of yellowed cards bound by steel rings from the cardboard box. They looked old.
"How about the recipe?"
"Hey Hey hey--"
Shisui blinked his eyes wildly.
[Kakashi-senpai, why do you give other people’s recipes as gifts? ]
Giyu put down the bag and took the card with both hands, not caring that it belonged to a deceased person.
"Minato-sensei's Secret Recipe".
There was a line of crooked words written on the top of the stack of cards, in which "recipe" was crossed out and rewritten twice, but in the end it was still written wrong, which seemed to imply that the owner of this thing was not very smart.
Giyu quickly flipped through the cards. There were thirty cards in total, each with specific instructions for one or two dishes.
Of course, the handwriting is still crooked and different in size, but it can be seen that the person who copied this thing is very serious and can read the back of the paper.
Giyu turned to the last page. There was a signature on it and a pattern similar to goggles drawn next to it.
"Obito Uchiha."
Giyu read out and shook his head, "Who is it?"
He had never seen a clansman with a similar name come to his father.
Hearing this name, Kakashi's body trembled slightly.
"Yeah, it turns out it belongs to Obito-senpai, so this recipe is a very precious thing."
Shisui scratched his head and said to Giyu: "Uchiha Obito is Kakashi-senpai's former teammate. But he died in the last ninja war and is the hero of the village. This recipe book, Giyu, you have to put it to good use."
"The hero of the village."
Uchiha Giyu was quite familiar with these words. After all, he had been hearing his father talk about these things to his clan members all day long.
"In the village?"
[Isn’t he a hero of “Uchiha”? ]
"You are very sensitive. However, at that time, the relationship between our Uchiha clan and the village was not as tense as it is now."
Shisui seemed not to want to dwell on this issue, "Well, you like cooking so much, this gift should be suitable for you."
"Judging from the name on the card, this should be the Fourth Hokage's private recipe. Obito-senpai was his student. I remember Aunt Mikoto, who has a good relationship with the Fourth Hokage's family. You should cook using this recipe. Your mother would be very surprised."
"so."
Giyu arranged the cards and put them into his pocket, then looked at Kakashi, "I will also give the gift."
"Thanks is enough, kid."
Kakashi winked, "But I see that you're not satisfied yet."
"I'm not dissatisfied."
Giyu replied coldly and left without looking back.
"The kid now has such a personality. That expression definitely shows dissatisfaction."
Kakashi felt a little regretful about giving that thing to this child whom he had only met once.
But if you put it in your own home, it will only trigger emotions. Since he promised the Third Hokage to cheer up, it would be a better choice to give it away, and it would also allow Minato-sensei's recipes to be carried forward.
"Giyu is actually a very gentle child, but he's just not good at expressing himself."
Shisui has long been accustomed to Giyu's weird temper, "He's not interested in becoming a ninja, so he must like your gift very much. Come on, Kakashi-senpai, as a thank you, I'll treat you to a meal. How about ramen?”
"Isn't there another child who also has a birthday? What about his gift?"
"As for Sasuke, that kid will be happy just to receive a gift from one person. There's no time to make up for it tomorrow."
"That's it."
Kakashi followed Shisui calmly and left the Uchiha clan, but he was thinking about what the ninja dog Aquino told him.
"That kid is super dangerous."
[Not interested in becoming a ninja, but can lift two half-meter-long salmon with one hand? (about 15 kg)]
[But considering he is an Uchiha, maybe that’s not surprising. It's his eyes that make people unable to ignore him...]
Well, why bother with so many other things? Just think about how to fish at work! Kakashi!
