Uchiha Giyu Chapter 12
🕑 Added 2023-10-31 04:47:45 +0000 UTCChapter 12 Can you give me a piece of your hair?
On the last day of Konoha's 53 years, heavy snow fell in the village, and the trees and houses were covered in snow.
The four Hokages on Hokage Rock put on festive "wool" hats, as if they were looking forward to the ninja world still maintaining this superficial peace next year.
Uchiha Mikoto and Giyu wore woolen hats and walked out of the house, planning to make a purchase.
"Isn't it really cold when you dress like this? Giyu?"
Unlike Uchiha Mikoto, who was wearing a woolen coat, Giyu was only wearing a Uchiha-style turtleneck, long sleeves and children's shorts.
From time to time, a thick and hot white mist came out of his mouth, and a lovely red color appeared on both cheeks, but if you look closely, you can see that this is not caused by the cold.
"I'm fine."
Giyu, half of his face hidden in his high collar, took the lead in walking towards the gate of the clan.
"Wait for me, Giyu."
Uchiha Mikoto stopped Giyu and stretched out a hand in front of him.
"Can you hold mom's hand? Otherwise, I might slip. Giyu doesn't want to see his mom fall to the ground in such an awkward state."
Giyu showed a confused expression.
"But Itachi can step directly on water."
[Jonin, how could you possibly slip on the snow? ]
Uchiha Mikoto was stunned for a moment, then showed a sly smile: "But mom is not as powerful as Itachi, so Giyu has to protect me."
Then her expression became aggrieved, and she wiped the corners of her eyes with her fingers, as if she was about to cry in the next second.
"Does Giyu only care about Sasuke and Itachi in his heart, and doesn't care about his father and mother at all? I'm really sad."
[Hurry up, hurry up and hook up, hurry up and hook up, Giyu! ]
Sure enough, he found that his mother's expression was indeed "sad", and Giyu immediately grabbed three of her fingers with his small palm.
Uchiha Mikoto immediately turned her tears into laughter.
"Compared to this..."
However, the next moment, Giyu stared at her and asked very seriously: "Are the Jonin assessments in Konoha Village too lax? Is it really safe when performing tasks in the village? If it is found that you can't even tread water , you will be punished, right?"
After all, it was really simple, and he learned it after just reading it once.
The smile on Mikoto's face gradually turned petrified.
But after she squeezed Giyu's little hand, she suddenly said in surprise: "Hey, Giyu, why are you so hot...do you have a fever?"
"No." Giyu shook his head firmly.
His body temperature will increase sharply because he is practicing the Flame Breathing.
This morning, after inducing Sasuke to use "small fireballs" several times, Giyu finally completely analyzed the Flame Breathing.
[Current breathing method resolution progress - Flame Breathing: 100%; Wind Breathing: 9.8%; Thunder Breathing: 4.1%; Stone Breathing: 2.4%; Moon Breathing: 15.44%; Sun Breathing: 0%. ]
At present, the practice method of Flame Breathing, the nine sword styles and Constant's breathing rhythm have all been imprinted in Giyu's mind. (Constant = Total Concentration Breathing: Constant)
Next, as long as Giyu trains the Flame Breathing to the normal level, he can use the medium to channel the spirit of Rengoku Kyojuro.
However, there seems to be something extra required to perform this kind of necromancy.
[Please prepare human gene carriers (such as hair, blood, saliva, skin) as summoning materials. The constitution of the resurrected Hashira will be affected by the gene carrier. ]
Giyu had never heard of the word gene, but after asking a child in the clan who liked to read, he probably understood——
For example, if his own hair is used as a material when Summoning, then the body of Rengoku Kyojuro after resurrection will most likely have some of his characteristics, maybe black hair; maybe blue eyes; maybe a Sharingan. The bloodline limit...
But Giyu really couldn't accept a black-haired Rengoku Kyojuro, and as far as he knew, Rengoku himself was quite proud of that hair color, and said that it was acquired by his ancestors who ate too much fried shrimp for generations.
So Giyu planned to go out on the streets today to see if he could find someone whose hair color and physical features were close to those of Rengoku Kyojuro himself.
But considering the unique red-yellow hair color, he actually didn't hold out much hope. He just wanted to find someone with red or yellow hair and a stronger body.
As for how to interact with the other party and ask for a piece of hair, that will happen later.
anyway.
Uchiha Mikoto was not at ease and carefully examined Giyu's body.
Giyu's physique has always been the best among the three brothers. He has never had a cold since he was a child.
But there is also a saying among the people: people who don't usually get minor illnesses will become extremely sick when they get ill.
This idea would occasionally rush into Mikoto's mind like a crazed cow, so she checked it with great concentration.
But after careful inspection, she found that Giyu was not simply suffering from a fever.
He is more like a burning furnace, constantly radiating heat outwards.
Those snowflakes falling from the sky, which cannot even be touched within ten centimeters of Giyu's body, will be immediately evaporated by an invisible heat wave on the spot. This is far beyond what the disease can achieve.
Rather than being sick, it looked like the boiling release, ninjutsu that Mikoto had seen on the Jinchuriki of Iwagakure Village during the Great Ninja War.
"Giyu, you are really amazing."
Uchiha Mikoto stared at her son's eyes, as if she wanted to find out something.
She said in a lively tone: "In summer, you are cooler than a refrigerator, and in winter, you are warmer than a furnace..."
Then, she suddenly hugged Giyu, squeezed her face and Giyu's face together, and rubbed them together like a lion.
"Mom is so envious of you!"
Uchiha Giyu's expression changed dramatically on the spot. He was horrified and wanted to retreat, but he couldn't break away without using chakra. If he used chakra, it would be easy to hurt his mother who couldn't even tread water.
The last time he felt this way was when Mitsuri Kanroji tried to tickle him during the Hashira Meeting (in the official novel).
"Okay, okay, I'll scare you."
Mikoto couldn't laugh or cry when she saw Giyu's expression for the first time. After helping Giyu adjust the woolen hat on her head, she stood up.
[I really don’t know what kind of girl Giyu will marry in the future...]
[A shy kid like Izumi probably can't even make Giyu change his expression. ]
[But if you are a girl who takes too much initiative, will Giyu be bullied? ]
Uchiha Mikoto was thinking about what would happen many years later, while holding Giyu's hand and continuing to walk out.
As for Giyu, his face was full of worry, he didn't know what he was thinking, and he even forgot to maintain his Flame Breathing.
"Giyu!"
When he reached the main gate of the clan, Giyu heard someone calling his name. When he looked up, it was Uchiha Gan.
The other party was holding a bag of fireworks, waving to Giyu excitedly, and then bowed slightly to Mikoto, who had a restrained expression.
Giyu just nodded slightly in return, but the other party didn't care. He gave Giyu a lollipop and left. Apparently he was used to his cold way of getting along.
Next, Giyu met a group of Uchiha boys who were building snowmen.
When they saw Giyu and Mikoto, they all stopped and invited Giyu to play with them, but he still refused.
It wasn't until mother and son walked out of the clan that Mikoto stuck her head out and said, "Giyu, I didn't expect that you have such a good relationship with the children of the clan. Do all of them know you?"
This surprised her.
The Uchiha clan is notoriously difficult to please, and with Giyu's character, it should be even harder.
Ever since she was freed from housework, she had been working as a Team leader. She had no idea that Sasuke and Giyu were training with the children of the clan during the day in Itachi's absence.
At the beginning, there were only three genin, Gan, Wen, Chui, Giyu and Sasuke.
But when those younger children saw that even genin were "playing" with Giyu and Sasuke, they naturally came over one after another.
Under the influence of Gan, Wen, and Chui, they gradually realized that Giyu's advice could make their training more effective, so they were very grateful to Giyu, not to mention that Giyu would often bring delicious food to share with them. Over time, everyone became friends.
And thanks to the Uchiha children's tendency to show off and rush to spit fireballs at the lake every day, the resolution of Giyu's Flame Breathing continues to increase...
To be honest, they are grateful to Giyu, and Giyu is also grateful to them.
It would probably take more than a year to get enough resolution just by Itachi and Sasuke.
Therefore, facing Mikoto's doubts, Giyu said quite seriously: "They are all friends of me and Sasuke."
"Oh, Giyu, it is really great."
She patted the back of Giyu's head happily and said, "If you look at it this way, you have more friends than your brother Itachi."
Uchiha Shisui is the only one who can be called a friend by Uchiha Itachi.
But compared to friends, they are more like brothers who are not related by blood.
After mother and son crossed the Konoha River twice, they stopped in front of a store on the main street.
The signboard of this restaurant is pink with the words "Yamanaka Flowers" written on it, and it looks very girly.
"Giyu, I plan to buy some molan and cyclamen to take home. Do you want to come with me?"
Uchiha Mikoto asked emphatically: "It might take a little longer."
When Giyu heard that it would take longer, he was about to go directly to the vegetable market to save time, but he noticed a little figure with yellow hair flashing through the glass door of the flower shop.
[Although the color is a little light, it is indeed yellow...]
"I am coming too."
"Hey, that's great."
Uchiha Mikoto burst out with a big smile, "How about you also choose a beautiful flower to give to mom?"
With that said, before Giyu could agree, she immediately pushed the door open and walked in. An extremely warm and moist breath rushed toward the two of them.
"Welcome to Yamanaka Flower Shop."
A woman with a noble and gentle temperament walked out from behind the flower stand and said with a smile on her face: "It's Mrs. Uchiha. It's been a long time since I last saw you. When you come here, our store is really shining."
Although this was a standard flattery sentence, when it came from her mouth, not only did it not make people feel uncomfortable, but it actually made people feel flattered.
It's a bit like the feeling that Kochō Kanae and Kochō Shinobu gave Giyu when They were still around.
Giyu only glanced at the thickness and color of the blood vessels in the woman's neck to know that she was not a ninja.
"You're too polite. I'm young, so just call me Mikoto."
"Since you ask so, I won't be polite."
Then, the lady of the yamanaka turned her attention to Giyu: "But, how come Sasuke feels different from before -"
"Mom? Is Sasuke here?"
A careless voice came from the back room, followed by another clang, and then the door opened. The girl with short light yellow hair poked her head out from behind the counter, staring at Giyu with two shining sky-blue eyes.
Soon, a look of doubt appeared on her face.
"Ino, don't be so frizzy, come to me."
Mrs. Yamanaka waved, and Yamanaka Ino immediately came to stand next to her, looking at Giyu with a trace of scrutiny in his eyes.
"No, Mom." She said firmly, "He is not Sasuke."
"Oh, I originally wanted to tease Ino."
Uchiha Mikoto covered her mouth and chuckled, and then explained to Mrs. Yamanaka: "This is Sasuke's twin brother, Giyu. This is the first time he went shopping with me. Speaking of which, there are obviously many tribesmen who can't tell the difference. But Ino can tell them at a glance, you are really amazing."
"Of course!"
Ino raised her head with her hands on her hips and proudly brushed the broken hair from her forehead.
"From the first time I met Sasuke, I planned to marry him into the Yamanaka family. How could I make a mistake?"
When the two parents heard this, they looked at each other and laughed out loud in unison, almost to tears.
"Why are you laughing!"
Ino didn't quite understand the scene in front of her and said angrily: "Do you think I can't do it?"
The mothers laughed harder.
Ino saw that they were just laughing and no one paid attention to her, and then turned her attention to Giyu, who was of the same height: "Hey, do you think I can't do it too?"
Uchiha Mikoto knew that there was something good to watch, so she gave Mrs. Yamanaka a "stop for a moment" expression, then folded her arms and waited for her Giyu to show off.
"me……"
Giyu stared at Ino blankly, thinking about what she said about marrying Sasuke, and suddenly realized something.
"Sorry, I just noticed that you are a boy."
[If it’s a girl, she should get married. ]
"you!"
Ino's eyes suddenly widened. Unexpectedly, she heard the most disgusting words from Sasuke's brother!
["Ino, don't act like a boy all day long!"]
["Manly Ino!"]
Damn, damn, damn!
[Obviously he looks so much like Sasuke, why is he so annoying when he opens his mouth! ]
"Okay, okay, you guys go inside and play for a while. I'll help Miss Mikoto choose some flowers."
Mrs. Yamanaka suppressed her smile and pointed in the direction of the back room, "Ino, go and pour some drinks for Giyu."
"Mom!" Ino stamped her feet reluctantly.
"Don't make fun of your guests."
Mrs. Yamanaka leaned down and said with a smile: "Sasuke and Giyu are the same age as you. Starting in March next year, you will go to ninja school together. You have to get along well, understand?"
"..."
Seeing her mother's smile becoming more intense and unreal, Ino nodded nervously, but when she looked back at Giyu, she immediately became fierce again: "Follow me!"
"Giyu, I will call you out in ten minutes at most."
Uchiha Mikoto pushed Giyu, "Go ahead, you can meet new friends. Giyu, you should be very happy."
"Um."
Giyu stared at Ino's light blond hair and nodded solemnly.
[I think this girl’s character is more suitable for Giyu than Sasuke. ]
Mikoto thought with some relief as she watched the two children disappear through the door of the back room.
As everyone knows, after Giyu came to the back room and sat down, the first thing he said to Ino was——
"Can I have a piece of your hair?"
The drink in Ino's hand hit the ground with a clang.
