🕑 Added 2023-10-19 01:10:45 +0000 UTCChapter 48: The Enemy Is Strong And We Are Weak
["Krojashi Kingdom." Garp was silent. 】
[It’s impossible to say that he, as a high-level Marine, doesn’t know about the tragedy of the Krojashi Kingdom. After all, the Krojashi Kingdom was destroyed by Marine’s Buster Call. 】
[Although he was opposed to this action and did not participate in the whole process, this matter was indeed done by Marine, which cannot be separated. 】
[The righteous Marine, which claims to protect the people, has done a massacre of the country that pirates seldom do. 】
【"Krojashi Kingdom." Garp sighed and repeated the sentence again. 】
[ Roja's previous questions are now echoing in Garp's mind, making his view of Marine's justice seem even more blurred. 】
【"I can't give you the answers to these questions, or you and I have our own answers." Garp said after a long silence. 】
【"Maybe you are right, but in this matter, until the end, no one knows what is right and what is wrong."】
【"We are all thinking of ways to make this world a better place, maybe in different ways. In your opinion, me and our Marine are too weak, but in our opinion, you are too radical."】
["You can't quite convince me, and I can't quite convince you," Garp said. 】
【"However, I see some hope in you. I won't report the things here to the higher-ups. I will even help you cover up and provide some help." Garp said here, his eyes became sharper. 】
【"Just, if one day, I find out that you have become like those idiot nobles in the Kingdom of Goa, I will shoot you mercilessly."】
["If some of us really degenerate like you said, I'd be happy to see someone kill them." Roja said with a smile. 】
【Looking at the heartfelt smile on Roja's face, Garp froze for a moment: "You are indeed very different from those careerists."】
【During the conversation, the two of them had unknowingly climbed to a peak in Mt. Colubo. Standing here, they could easily see the capital. 】
【"Your next step is to overthrow the royal family of the Kingdom of Goa. Although it is not appropriate to say this, you still have to think about the incident in the Kingdom of Krojashi." Garp reminded. 】
【"The World government will not let you go easily. With your current strength, you will be easily destroyed."】
【"What if we continue to pay the heavenly gold?" Roja looked at the royal capital in the distance and asked with a smile. 】
【"Ah? Pay the heavenly gold?" Garp buckled his ears, thinking he heard it wrong: "Aren't you the rebel army against the World government?"]
["Yes." Roja nodded. "Our purpose is to overthrow the world government."]
【"Then why do you have to pay the heavenly gold?" Garp was even more puzzled. 】
【"If you don't pay the heavenly gold, you will be destroyed by Buster Call just like the Krojashi Kingdom if you quit the franchise country?"】
【"What you said makes sense, but, but." Garp scratched his head, and he couldn't find a reason to refute for a while. 】
【"Do you think my actions are too realistic, as if they are not in line with our idealistic thinking?" Roja asked with a smile. 】
【"Yes, that's the feeling. I still admire you when you say you want to overthrow the world government, but paying the heavenly money seems to be bowing your head."】
["There is no way, the enemy is strong and we are weak, so we can only pretend to be vain. The revolutionary cause itself is advancing in twists and turns. Desperation has no meaning except that it will cause unnecessary sacrifices." Roja said]
【"Only by accumulating strength can one day overthrow the world government."】
【"If that's the case, what's the difference between your compromise and ours?" Garp tried to save Marine. 】
【"The difference?" Roja looked at Garp and said seriously: "We have a unified mind, a clear goal, and always keep in mind the exploitation and oppression we have suffered, so that we will not be corrupted and eroded in the emptiness and arrogance." 】
["What about Marines? Are there any of these? Is there vague justice? You don't need to pay the heavenly gold, you only need to receive the military expenses drawn from the heavenly gold by the World government every year, so you are more and more eroded and corrupted by the World government." 】
【"Without thinking, you will become a weapon. You are good at hunting down pirates, and the same is true for massacring cities and countries."】
【"To be honest, I can't blame you to a large extent. The world government above you is already rotten, so you are gradually rotten."】
【"The Kingdom of Krojashi was not the first country to die under the weapon of the Marine, and it certainly won't be the last."】
Roja's words not only completely silenced what Garp said, but also completely silenced the Marines in the chat room.
Very angry, an inexplicable anger, but powerless to refute.
Roja's few questions not only stopped Garp, but also stopped all the people in Marine who still have justice and kindness in their hearts.
Citizens of member and non-member countries.
Whether the legal issues of the World government are reasonable.
They cannot give an answer.
Especially the sentence that the Royal Guards of the Kingdom of Goa will say they are righteous?
Are they of the same nature as the Royal Guard?
A lot of people want to say no, but Celestial Dragons is a point they can't get around.
"It's really harsh words."
Tsuru couldn't help sighing.
Chat rooms are not for everyone in the world, but watching movies is.
Marine's justice has attracted many righteous young people from various countries.
Now, this justice has been torn away.
What is more important is that sentence, which is powerless to refute, even the Tsuru who is a high-level Marine cannot refute.
Even speaking, the closer to the senior management of Marine, the more they understand the correctness of Roja's words.
Why did Aokiji leave the job? Why did Zephyr leave? Why didn't Garp be promoted to Admiral?
How many high-level executives can say that they still maintain the original intention of justice when they first joined the Marine?
The Marine is like this now, the closer to the top, the closer to the darkness, the more aware of his own powerlessness, the more they blurs their own justice.
Became an extremely selective justice, then decayed into a mere weapon.
The last sentence that Roja said, Krojashi Kingdom is not the first, nor will it be the last, directly silenced all the high-level officials.
The content of the video was 28 years ago, and the situation has been exactly as Roja said in the past 28 years.
There are more and more countries and places swallowed by darkness.
