"destiny…"
In the deep hall of Mount Myōboku, there is an old-looking toad. It is the leader of the toad of Mount Myōboku—the Great Toad Sage.
It seemed to feel something, its deep yellow eyes looked outside the hall, the mountains and forests full of natural atmosphere.
"Master, what happened?"
Sage Fukasaku, who was meditating next to him, opened his eyes, interrupted his practice, and looked at Sage Toad.
"Minato…"
"Minato?"
"...that Minato kid is dead..."
"!?"
Sage Fukasaku stared wide-eyed, and looked at Sage Toad in shock.
"Minato...dead?"
"Go to Konoha and get one thing back."
"thing?"
Before he recovered from the shock and sadness, he heard the order from the Great Toad Sage again, and the Sage Fukasaku was full of doubts.
"You will know when you go to Konoha..."
The Great Toad Sage closed his eyes and began to sleep.
"..."
Sage Fukasaku bowed his head and pondered for a while, then jumped off the training platform, and at the entrance of the main hall, he looked back at Great Toad Sage, who was even weaker there.
What spell was the Great Toad Sage using just now? To become so weak... Sage Fukasaku was in awe.
The Great Toad Sage who has survived since ancient times, the founder of the Mount Myōboku Holy Land, the Sage Fukasaku respects the Great Toad Sage from the bottom of his heart.
But sometimes, I feel that some abnormal behaviors of the Great Toad Sage are incomprehensible, and I am deeply confused.
•••
Konoha, in the emergency room.
Minato was lying pale on the operating table, and several medical ninjas surrounded him to carry out first aid, and Tsunade commanded at the side with the same pale face, as if fearing the blood flowing from Minato's body.
The medical ninja who used medical ninjutsu to save Minato's life was sweating profusely, and the nurses were also coming and going, very busy.
"It can't be done, the heart and lungs have been injured to such an extent, it's already..."
A medical ninja said in frustration.
Although the rest of the medical ninjas are still being rescued, they also know that the chance of Minato surviving is zero.
Miracles are impossible.
Half an hour later, Tsunade took a deep breath, with a look of sadness in his eyes, and said to them: "Okay, let's end here, you have tried your best."
"Tsun,Tsunade-sama?"
The medical ninjas looked at Tsunade.
"The person who attacked him is the same as you, a medical ninja. Do you think he would be stupid enough to let you rescue him?"
Tsunade slammed her fist against the wall and gritted her teeth.
That **** brat!
Her fists were trembling, and complex and bitter expressions appeared in her eyes.
After knowing that Shiraishi was the person who caused the riot last night, Tsunade still can't believe it.
That person would do this kind of thing.
Tsunade fell into self-blame for her stupidity.
Whether it's Nawaki or Kato Dan, and the village left by her grandfather, she wasn't able to protect them well.
What the hell is he trying to do? Tsunade was both helplessly angry and puzzled.
Why did Shiraishi do such a thing?
Is it because of the matter of Danzo and Sakumo that he left with some members of the Hyuga clan and Uchiha clan?
Moreover, why hide your strength?
What else did you do behind my back that I didn't even know about?
Now that Minato is dead, how can I explain to Jiraiya?
Tsunade's emotions are very messy now, and finally she took a deep breath, finally recovering, glanced at Minato on the operating table that could be called a 'corpse', she couldn't bear to look straight, and walked outside.
beep beep—
Tsunade was taken aback.
Those medical ninjas were also taken aback.
The lines on the screen fluctuate and are no longer a straight line.
"Live...alive?"
"How, how is it possible?"
"Wait, what's this?"
The medical ninja stared at this scene with wide-eyed eyes. From Minato's body, an engraved spell emerged, with a spell with the word "Sage" in the middle, emitting a gleaming green light, covering Minato's completely cold body.
Minato's complexion began to return to ruddy, his heartbeat started to beat, and his fingers were moving slightly.
They could understand that this spell engraved with the word 'Sage' was trying to save Minato's life.
Isn’t that the Sage Talisman of Mount Myōboku...how could it be on Minato? Tsunade frowned.
She faintly sensed that the truth of the matter was not as simple as it appeared on the surface.
She made a contract with the slug in the wet bone forest, one of the three holy places, because the slug has a gentle temperament, and has lived from ancient times to the present, and knows many secrets in the ninja world, and occasionally tells her some secrets in the ninja world.
There are things about the two holy places of Mount Myōboku and Ruchi Cave.
According to what Slug said, there is a Sage talisman with mysterious power in the hands of the Great Toad Sage in Mount Myōboku.
That is the most precious Sage treasure in the entire Mount Myōboku, which can bring people back to life.
But because it has the effect of bringing the dead back to life, it must be used with a heavy price.
This kind of treasure is extremely precious, and it will cost the caster a huge price to use. Why is it specially placed on Minato? What is the big toad Sage going to do? Tsunade narrowed her eyes, and her mind became active.
It seems that it is necessary to go back to the Wetbone Forest and ask the slug about the Great Toad Sage. She thought to herself.
••••
Noon.
"Elder Tenjin, are you feeling better?"
In the courtyard, Kenji walked over and saw Elder Tenjin sitting leisurely on the corridor drinking tea while admiring the rainy scene outside.
The torrential rain has not stopped since last night. This kind of gloomy weather has a special flavor when viewed at this moment.
"It's getting better. Sit down. How were the casualties in the village last night?"
Elder Tenjin coughed, indicating that he was fine, but his face was weak.
Kenji sat opposite, took out a report, according to it, simplified the content and said: "According to the latest statistics, the number of injured is more than 500 people, and 86 people were killed. Among them, the Hyuga clan is said to have lost several jounin. If you add the branch ninja who defected and left..."
This is simply bloodletting and cutting flesh on the Hyuga clan.
Kenji expressed his silent condolences to the Hyuga Clan who are also the Blood Successor Limit Ninja Clan.(Kekkei-genkai clan)
Compared to the Hyuga clan, the loss of the Uchiha clan is nothing at all, not to mention that it was originally intended by the Elder Tenjin.
"For their clan, the more Jonin they lose, the safer their position in the village will be. This should be a good thing."
Elder Tenjin took a sip of tea calmly, disapproving lightly.
"Let's not mention this, the village is quite critical of our Uchiha clan."
Kenji put away the statistics sheet, glanced at Elder Tenjin and said.
"Because the Uchiha clan didn't participate in the battle last night?"
"Yes. They're upset about it."
"The work of the security team is based on the safety of the people in the village. We just follow the rules. If he needs proof, let that brat in Danzo come over in person. I'm an old bone and don't want to move."
Elder Tenjin snorted coldly.
He knew about it without even thinking about it, who was deliberately spreading rumors.
Except Danzo, no one would do such a thing.
Even if some people wanted to, they wouldn't have the guts to do it.
Kenji nodded, but didn't express his opinion. He didn't have a bad feeling for the village's senior management, but he didn't have a good impression either.
He only needs to work for one family.
"Then, is it really good not to tell Ruri the truth of this matter? When she left, she must also have the mentality of loathing and hating you."
Kenji sighed and looked at the rainwater in the courtyard.
The rain has become lighter.
The patter is still falling.
"This kind of thing doesn't matter. Do you know why I didn't let Ruri fight the roots?"
Elder Tenjin pondered for a moment, put down the teacup in his hand, his eyes were deep and peaceful.
"In order to make Ruri completely disappointed in the village's senior management?"
Kenji tilted his head, asking tentatively.
Ruri used to be bound by the clan and the village, but since she experienced being ambushed by the root, there is only one clan left in Ruri's heart.
For her, the village is only because of the karma with the clan, so she swallowed her anger and continued to exist as a Konoha ninja.
Elder Tenjin personally cut off her thoughts about the clan before, making it impossible for the village and the family to accommodate her will, and leaving was an inevitable choice.
This is what Kenji thinks.
Elder Tenjin's cloudy eyes revealed nostalgia for the past.
"This is just one of them. In fact, the will of fire handed down from the Senju Hashirama is not suitable for our Uchiha family. It is not because we are not tolerant enough, but because we are too weak. The blood of our family can only shine in battle, and Konoha...restrains the nature of our family. Fighting is human nature at any time. To protect the fertile land of the Land of Fire with a weak attitude, Konoha will make enemies everywhere like this."
"In other words, the reason why you chose Ruri is because she is very similar to the person you once admired?"
"Madara-sama? He's just a different kind."
Elder Tenjin made such a comment.
Kenji was surprised.
"Different kind?"
"Killing friends in your clan for the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, would you worship such a guy? My feelings for Madara-sama and Izuna-sama at that time were nothing but fear."
Elder Tenjin gave Kenji a cold look.
Kenji silently lowered his head.
I really don't feel admiration for such a guy.
"If Ruri did not hesitate to hurt herself and her close relatives in order to obtain the power of Mangekyō Sharingan, then I would use this to destroy her at all costs."
Elder Tenjin took out a medicinal glass bottle from his arms.
Inside is a pair of eyes.
A pair of sharingan eyes with complex patterns.
It is called Mangekyō Sharingan.
The supreme pupil power of the Uchiha clan.
Elder Tenjin looked at the pair of eyes and said in a complicated tone: "Although I opened these eyes, I was also enslaved by the power and curse of these eyes. I couldn't control such darkness, so I replaced them with the eyes of the dead clansmen."
He understands the darkness and power contained in these eyes better than the current clansmen.
When he felt that his will, even arrogance and extremes were being guided by these eyes, he abandoned them without hesitation.
He has a premonition that if he continues to use the power of these eyes to dominate the Uchiha clan, sooner or later he will lead the clan into the abyss.
"The will of Senju Hashirama is weak love. Although it is strong, it has lost its blood. Master Madara's will is extreme love. Although it is strong, it is not popular. No matter what kind of will it is, it is not the hope of the future of the family."
Although the current radicals retain their blood, they have been induced by the will of Senju Hashirama, and they can't help but yearn for Hokage's position.
Use this to prove the power of Uchiha.
The ninjas of the Uchiha clan were deeply proud of the fact that they created this village with the Senju clan.
The conservatives in the clan are completely reduced to lackeys of the Will of Fire.
Although he holds the glory of a family, he has been eroded by this weak love.
From the Warring States Period, he went to the battlefield, followed Uchiha Madara to experience Hell's storms, and then founded Konoha with the Senju Clan.
After that, Uchiha Madara left Konoha, and started a life-and-death battle with Senju Hashirama in the Valley of the End.
Uchiha Madara, who was the loser, disappeared from then on, Senju Hashirama won, and passed away within a few years after returning to Konoha.
Then, the first Ninja World War broke out, and the second Hokage Senju Tobirama was killed, and his disciple Sarutobi Hiruzane succeeded the Third Hokage position.
The Elder Tenjin have personally experienced all these things.
He is an old man who witnessed the transition from the Warring States Period to the era of one country and one village.
Take the attitude of a bystander to see all these things happening.
So, I have been thinking about how to save the family.
"Sure enough, you have been setting up a situation very early."
Kenji didn't know the whole process of the plan, but he could guess some.
If Elder Tenjin had been planning...no, or if he had been planning earlier when Ruri was ambushed by Roots, maybe Root's actions were within his expectations.
Including the series of responses and countermeasures of the high-level, as well as Ruri's psychology of hating the high-level, it was also guided at that time.
Gradually began to feel disappointed with the "ignorant" high-level members of the family, so her rebellious psychology prompted her to look for like-minded companions in the family.
As everyone knows, those so-called "companions" are also prepared by the Elder Tenjin in advance to rebuild another team of the Uchiha clan for her.
What a cunning guy. Kenji sighed in his heart.
"But in all these plans, the biggest problem is whether Ruri will hurt the people around her in order to gain power. This is what I am most worried about. I am also obsessed with power, and I am very worried that she will follow Madara-sama's path. Fortunately, Ruri's choice did not disappoint me in the end."
Everything can be arranged, but there is only one thing that the elder Tenjin is most worried and uncertain about.
That is Ruri's obsession with power, whether her original heart will change in the face of power.
The former Uchiha Madara brothers did not resist the temptation and killed their friends.
A person who can even abandon his relatives and friends will never feel the warmth of the world, and use a heart full of love to perceive everything in the world.
Nor will he love his own people.
All they see is darkness and extremes, and they are induced by extreme paranoid feelings, and call it, that is the truth and truth of the world.
Frankly accepted the 'curse' of a family, saying that this is the fate of a family that cannot be changed.
Granted arrogance.
He used to be a fool who combined arrogance and ignorance, so he has a deep understanding.
It is precisely because of this that he will let Ruri lead those clansmen with peace of mind.
The charisma and strength of a leader are only one of them, and the benevolence and tolerance to those around them are also necessary qualities.
"But, there is one more thing you didn't say."
Kenji said suddenly.
"What didn't i say?"
Elder Tenjin frowned, he shouldn't have missed anything.
"That's why you didn't tell me that that medical ninja named Chiba Shiraishi would be such a powerful guy."
Having said this, Kenji looked at Elder Tenjin with complaining eyes.
To be honest, he was really surprised when he went to sneak attack Shiraishi.
He originally planned to beat Shiraishi half to death, and in the form of nonsense, delay until Ruri came back.
In the end... he was severely taught by Shiraishi, the assassination target, and was tortured by Ruri with illusion for a long time. Looking back now, he felt a chill hit him.
"If I told you in advance, how can the play be performed realistically?"
Elder Tenjin drank tea with a smile, so this was the matter.
"You already knew that, didn't you?"
Kenji's eyes complained even more.
"Who knows. Also, are the lines between Sosuke and Miyoko disconnected?"
Uchiha Sosuke and Uchiha Miyoko are Ruri's parents.
This time he knew in advance that Sand Village was going to attack Konoha, and designed this plan, the two of them also contributed a lot.
But because of this, all the clues should be cut off and the traces should be cleaned up.
Even if it is a one in ten thousand possibility, it must be eliminated.
"Not yet, I'm thinking, if something goes wrong with the Uchiha here in the future..."
"Since we have separated from Konoha, the Uchiha over there has nothing to do with this side. The little devil in Danzo has a very good dog nose. Weeds must be rooted out, whether it is combat or intelligence work."
Elder Tenjin's tone was extremely firm.
The sound of the rain gradually died down, and water gathered and dripped under the eaves.
"Well, I will deal with it later. From now on, they are no longer Konoha's Uchiha. The resources of the two parties are no longer shared with each other. Speaking of which, they have accumulated a lot of wealth over the years, and the contacts accumulated by Uchiha before are enough to rise in the kingdom of Demons."
Kenji let out a pity.
"So, next, I can also retire with peace of mind."
Elder Tenjin let out a sigh of relief.
"Retirement?"
Kenji looked at Elder Tenjin in surprise.
"What are you surprised about? I'm old enough to retire and ignore such trivialities."
"But... who will be the next clan head..."
A little overwhelmed by the fire.
The Konoha Uchiha clan lost Elder Tenjin, and they don’t know what will happen.
"That boy Fugaku is fine. Leave it to him. From now on, he is the patriarch of the Uchiha clan."
Hearing what Elder Tenjin said, Kenji always felt that the position of patriarch was arranged too casually.
"Does Fugaku have this ability?"
Kenji didn't question Fugaku's strength, in fact, Fugaku's strength is above him.
But Fugaku's character is not suitable for leading radicals, but for conservatives.
The problem is that the radical faction is the most powerful among the Uchiha clan today.
"The radicals' meddling in the position of Hokage is the way of death. Fugaku still has a slight possibility of winning the position of Hokage, because he, like Uchiha Kagami who was killed by me, is one of the few ninjas in the family who respect the will of fire. The will of Senju Hashirama is still affecting the current Uchiha. It depends on whether Fugaku understands how to use it."
Elder Tenjin remembered some unpleasant past events and snorted coldly.
Kenji sighed, but didn't speak, he was the one who was tired and suffering.
"Take this away too, I don't need this power anymore."
Elder Tenjin put the medicinal glass bottle with a pair of Mangekyō Sharingan in Kenji's hand.
After Kenji took the things, he left the residence of the Elder Tenjin.
The rain has completely stopped, the sun is slowly showing its head, and there is still some humidity in the air.
Elder Tenjin looked at the sky that was gradually clearing up, and thought to himself, Ruri has almost reached a safe place with those clansmen.
Konoha can't gather any decent pursuit troops at the moment, and he is already exhausted just to deal with the war.
The timing is just right.
"The future of Uchiha will be left to you, Ruri..."
Senju Hashirama's will is too weak, and Uchiha Madara's will is too extreme.
However, those who can overcome the shackles of that curse, face the strongest power, and still have unshakable firm belief, such a person will never become a slave to power, causing dust to the soul.
"People with dark thoughts will never see the brilliance of human nature, and will only criticize the world from a dark and pessimistic perspective. Sharingan is the eye of spiritual reflection. Go forward to the path firmly in your heart, Ruri, this unknown curse will come sooner or later... But maybe I can't see that day coming."
Elder Tenjin sighed and smiled, what was he thinking so much about?
This new era is no longer something he, an old antique from the old era, can interfere with.
Konoha is not good in every way, but it is very suitable for him to retire here.
In this village where Uchiha no longer has the slightest sense of existence, and Uchiha's nature is bound, the elders of Tenjin don't care about the ups and downs of survival.
Just thinking that this village may be slowly corroded by power, seeing Senju's will gradually fall into the abyss, for him as the Uchiha clan member, is the supreme joy.
Think about it carefully, there is nothing more worthy of applause than this.
walked towards the house, the door was closed tightly.
••••
Hyuga family.
In the aisle of the corridor, Hiashi sat there calmly.
In front of him was a birdcage with a bird locked inside.
When he opened the cage, the bird wondered if he had forgotten how to soar in the sky, saw the open door and was indifferent, pecking at the food in the cage.
"Are you still not leaving? She has already left, and it is meaningless for you to stay here... Fly, get out of here."
Hiashi did not receive any response to his questioning.
He vaguely remembered that the day he bought this bird was also the day he met Ayane for the first time.
He never thought that one day Ayane would really break free from the birdcage and fly out of the birdcage of the family.
But...why...the bird can't fly out?
Instead, he stayed obediently?
"She left yesterday, and you are also free, you can fly out."
Hiashi urged the caged bird to leave again.
The bird is just pecking at the food.
"Brother, no matter what, it is impossible for Bird to answer your question."
A young man similar to Hiashi walked up to Hiashi and said.
It is Hyuga Hizashi, the younger brother of Hiashi.
"I know that it is only birds that are imprisoned in birdcages, not humans. The biggest difference between humans and birds is that humans are animals that will break free from the shackles of fate."
Hiashi turned his head, looked directly into Hizashi's eyes and said.
Hizashi's face was a little surprised, he didn't expect him to say such a thing.
"Is that guard so important to you?"
"Yes, She is a very special existence."
"It's best not to say such things to the elders. When she left last night, she killed many people."
"I understand. I am Hyuga Clan Patriarch. But so many birds flew out freely last night, there will be more in the future. I can't imagine that kind of thing. Once a person's free nature is liberated, it is an invincible will and spirit. Death doesn't seem to be worth their fear and retreat."
Hiashi said in an awe-like tone.
He closed the door of the birdcage.
Since you don't want to leave, then stay.
Someday, the bird will want to fly.
“The biggest difference between humans and birds is that humans are animals that can escape their fate.”
Hiashi stood up, lifted the birdcage, repeated this sentence, and left towards the end of the corridor.
—Only those who are not reconciled to fate can paint various colorful paintings in the world.
Can the future Hyuga Clan draw such a colorful blue sky? Let these birds fly together freely... Hiashi looked at the clear sky, and buried this big doubt in his heart.
(PS: Minato is not dead here, in order to draw Tsunade’s doubts about some things. If Minato is dead, I don’t have the strength to continue the plot.
It is impossible for Destiny's Child to stand on the side of the protagonist. If they all stand on the side of the protagonist, then there is no need to fight... It can be declared over.
However, there will be huge changes in the plots of Obito, Rin, Nagato and others, which can be disclosed in advance.)
