"Mangekyō Sharingan?"
Hearing Elder Tenjin's sigh full of regret, Ruri frowned.
"What does that have to do with that?"
She didn't understand the inevitable connection between the assassination of Shiraishi and the Mangekyō Sharingan.
Elder Tenjin's face was calm, he didn't say a word, he just hunched his body and walked towards the side.
Ruri saw him making a seal towards a stone slab, and the stone slab floated up, revealing a dark passage leading to the ground.
"Come with me, let me tell you the ultimate secret of our Uchiha clan."
Elder Tenjin went down first, Ruri hesitated for a moment, and followed him down the underground passage.
The basement connected by this passage is not very deep, but Ruri can feel that the stone slabs that surround this space are all special stone materials, which are very strong against pressure.
At both ends of the wall in front of this basement, there are Uchiha clan fan logos, and an ancient stone tablet half a person's height is placed in the middle.
The stone tablet is engraved with old and strange glyphs, which are not at all like characters that can be read normally.
"Do you know this place?"
Elder Tenjin asked.
"I've heard of it, but it's the first time I've been to this kind of place. Is there anything special here?"
Ruri carefully observed the surroundings with Sharingan, but found nothing.
Except for the stone tablet, the rest of the place is normal.
"This stone tablet records the secrets of our Uchiha ancestors that have been passed down from generation to generation. Using Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan, you can interpret the above content in turn and get the Forbidden power."
Elder Tenjin used his Sharingan to watch the content on the stele, and said to Ruri.
"Forbidden power? Mangekyō Sharingan?"
"That's right, because Sharingan can only see the upper part of the content, and the latter content requires a more advanced sharingan, Mangekyō Sharingan... and the way to open the Mangekyō Sharingan is to kill... close relatives!"
At this moment, the kindness on Elder Tenjin's face disappeared, and he became extremely ferocious, and evil and deep colors appeared in his eyes.
After listening to the answer of the opening Mangekyō Sharingan, Ruri opened her eyes wide in shock, and stared at Elder Tenjin with disbelief, her expression froze, her body standing there seemed to be petrified, stiff and unable to move.
"Killing...a close relative?"
It seemed to be to confirm this question that made her feel so nonsense, Ruri asked back after being stunned for a while.
"That's right, Ruri, this is the method to open the Mangekyō Sharingan. But in fact, killing close relatives is not particularly accurate. For example, friends who are as close as family members are also possible. Back then, Madara-sama and Izuna-sama also used this method to open their eyes."
Seems to miss something from the past, Elder Tenjin narrated in a faint tone.
After listening, Ruri clenched her fists, stood there frowning and did not move, but her eyes showed disgust and anger.
"You said they used this method to open the Mangekyō Sharingan... Could it be that they..."
Uchiha Madara's name needless to say, his younger brother Uchiha izuna is also a famous and powerful ninja in the Uchiha clan. When he was alive, he was second only to Uchiha Madara in the Uchiha clan.
Elder Tenjin looked directly into Ruri's eyes, with a sinister smile on the corner of his mouth, and said word by word: "That's right. Madara-sama and izuna-sama used to lead the Uchiha clan to gain stronger power, so they killed their closest friends in the clan and opened the Mangekyō Sharingan."
Ruri coldly stared at Elder Tenjin. For some reason, she suddenly felt disappointed in this family.
She is also very disappointed with the power of the legendary Mangekyō Sharingan.
"However, not everyone can use this method to open their eyes. When the little ghost Sarutobi Hiruzen came to power, I realized that the opportunity for the Uchiha clan had come. I tried to control Konoha in order to recreate the Mangekyō Sharingan in the clan, but...failed."
Elder Tenjin spoke of the past with deep regret.
Ruri clenched her fists even more tightly, and it was the first time she recognized the old man in front of her who was always pleasant to others.
Ruri understood what he meant by 'failure'.
As a member of this family, all Ruri felt was nausea, which made her break into a cold sweat.
This old thing must have used coercion in the past to force the clansmen to open their eyes and let those clansmen kill their friends and relatives.
But under his leadership, none of the coerced clansmen opened the Mangekyō Sharingan.
Failed for some reason.
"Their qualifications are not enough. Although the emotional stimulation of losing something important is there, their own abilities are too weak. After all, Madara-sama and izuna-sama were already famous ninjas in the world before they opened the Mangekyō Sharingan. When I was disappointed, you appeared, Ruri."
Speaking of this, Elder Tenjin stared at Ruri with fanatical eyes, or her pair of Sharingan eyes full of bright red color and bright and shining color.
It seems that those eyes will eventually transform into Mangekyō Sharingan.
"I know, with your personality, it's hard to make up your mind. So I think that killing that man in front of you is no different from you killing that man. But the mission of Kenji failed, which was beyond my expectation."
Ignoring the almost distorted words spoken by Elder Tenjin, Ruri walked directly to the front of the stele and stopped.
"Sure enough, you are also a member of the Uchiha clan. The pursuit of power is unscrupulous. Each of us is the same. Let's take a look at the content on this stone tablet."
Elder Tenjin said with a smile.
"shut up."
Ruri's voice was low.
Elder Tenjin smiled and said nothing, but his face was full of victory.
Ruri used Sharingan to observe the stele, scanning from the beginning, but when she read a quarter of the time, it suddenly broke off.
The following content requires stronger pupil power to be able to read it.
Ruri frowned, and concentrated the sage chakra on the eyes, so as to further strengthen the pupil power of her Sharingan.
Elder Tenjin who was on the side didn't know why, but suddenly felt his body become very heavy.
Especially my own Sharingan, this feeling is like facing different levels of Sharingan.
That is an indescribable oppressive force.
"Sure enough, like Madara-sama, Sharingan is already so powerful in the state of 3 Tomoe. How about it, I didn't lie to you. With your pupil power, you can see far more content on the stele than I do. You must have learned a lot of secrets about forbidden techniques and Mangekyō Sharingan."
Elder Tenjin was almost dancing, with excitement on his face.
I feel extremely excited that Ruri has such a powerful Sharingan.
"Since you already know all this, Ruri, then you can complete the work yourself. Use your own hands to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, and personally experience the blood of the person you love the most, so that your chances of opening your eyes will be greater!"
Elder Tenjin spoke excitedly, incoherently speaking.
"I know that you and Madara-sama are very similar. You are all people who use all means for the sake of power. If you can achieve your goal, you don't care how many people die or what you sacrifice. For people like you, only power is the real eternity. For yourself, for Uchiha, and even for the sake of snatching the position of Hokage from senju, this is the path you must take!"
He grabbed Ruri's shoulder and spoke more and more excitedly.
Snapped!
Ruri coldly shook off Elder Tenjin's hand that was grabbing her shoulder, and said coldly, "I don't want to be obedient to a guy like you."
"What, what?"
Elder Tenjin looked at Ruri in disbelief.
"Have you seen the deeper secrets of the stele?"
He is confirming.
"So what?"
"Impossible... You can't lose interest in this kind of power. You are the same as Madara-sama. For this kind of power, in order to obtain the legendary pupil technique, you should not hesitate. You can't be indifferent to this kind of power..."
Elder Tenjin seemed a little out of his mind, and he couldn't believe that Ruri would resist the temptation of this force.
As long as you get that, becoming Hokage is easy.
"Power is indeed tempting, but I am not a slave dominated by power. The power obtained by this method will only make me feel sick."
"Evil, disgusting? That's the legendary power, Ruri, do you know what you're talking about? Don't you want to be an unrivaled ninja like Madara-sama? The strongest power that can rival the god of ninjas... Faced with such power, how could you refuse?"
"You have lost your mind, calm down, don't be confused by such things."
Ruri hoped that Elder Tenjin could calm down.
"Enough! I don't know what happened to you. But, Ruri, you must awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan. The Uchiha clan needs your power now. The third Ninja World War has begun. We must use this opportunity to get the position of Hokage! If you miss this opportunity, you may not have it again in the future! Don't you understand such a simple question?"
Elder Tenjin roared wildly there.
Bloodshot eyes have appeared in the eyes.
Looking at the old man in a state of madness, Ruri just sighed.
It's pathetic.
Have you been fascinated by the power of Uchiha Madara's Mangekyō Sharingan?
Or coveted for the position of Hokage.
Although it is for the sake of the Uchiha clan, if I really use this method to open my eyes... even my beloved can be ignored, and I can ruthlessly abandon it for the sake of power. If I pursue power by any means, will I really be responsible for the whole family?
It will only make the entire Uchiha clan fall into a more irreversible situation.
"That's your own business. I don't need the position of Hokage. If you want to fight, go fight and don't involve me."
For the first time, she expressed her thoughts about not pursuing the position of Hokage.
Ruri sighed, it was really disappointing.
When she turned around and was about to leave, Elder Tenjin's gloomy voice came from behind:
"If you don't do it, the assassination will continue. Unless you kill all the Uchiha fellows belonging to the radical faction under my command."
Ruri stopped in her tracks, her eyes filled with murderous intent, she turned around, her icy gaze piercing the elders of Tenjin like a blade.
Elder Tenjin knew that his provocation was successful, and he sneered:
"Not only that, your parents will also be in my assassination plan. If I fail once, I will do it twice, and if I fail twice, I will do it a third time. It will always open your eyes. The relatives, lovers, and friends around you will be killed by me."
"Shut up!"
Boom!
The body made contact with the ground, making a huge shock.
Elder Tenjin coughed up blood from his mouth, his wrinkled face was extremely pale.
Ruri grabbed his throat and pressed him to the ground, with a smile still on his face, looking at Ruri's Sharingan.
"Are you angry? That's right, killing me will end it. Come on, if my life can also awaken you, that's the best, so you don't have to suffer the pain of your lover and relatives dying in front of you. Kill me, if this makes you satisfied."
Cold sweat flowed from Ruri's face. To be honest, facing such Elder Tenjins, she shuddered a little.
"Why don't you do it? You have to know that most of the Uchiha clan are under my command. As long as it is my order, they will not hesitate to carry it out. You can either kill them all, or kill me, or cut them off yourself... Otherwise, the assassination will be endless around your closest relatives."
"Don't push me!"
Ruri's palm pressing down on his throat became stronger and stronger.
Elder Tenjin laughed and coughed.
"Haha... That's how it is. You are reluctant to kill even an old thing like me. You are too reluctant and nostalgic for feelings, Ruri. Coupled with your talent, if you can be ruthless, you are the perfect person to open the Mangekyō Sharingan!"
Elder Tenjin saw through all of Ruri's thoughts and made Ruri break out in cold sweat.
He was deliberately provoking her.
From the beginning, she was in his layout.
If she killed him, exactly as what he expected.
She fell into darkness and became the second Uchiha Madara for power.
"You are crazy."
"Because this is the only way to save the clan... The Uchiha now need a pair of brand new Mangekyō Sharingan to win the position of Hokage in the village. Compared with Fugaku, you have more potential to open Mangekyō Sharingan."
Regarding Ruri's evaluation, Elder Tenjin smiled indifferently.
Ruri fell silent, forcing herself to calm down, not to be induced by the other party's words.
Loosening Elder Tenjin's neck, Ruri stood up.
Elder Tenjin did not show joy, but anger.
Ruri took a breath of the clear air in the basement, walked towards the stairs, and walked up.
"Have you decided? If you don't kill me at this time, from now on, the assassination of your family members will continue forever until you open the Mangekyō Sharingan! You are not the kind of person who likes to leave threats until the end! Come on, kill me! This way you can protect them! Why don't you kill me?"
Ignoring the angry roar of the mad beast behind, Ruri who stepped on the stairs only felt a chill in her heart.
Go out of the basement and open the door of the meeting room in the inner hall.
In the square of the shrine, a large number of Uchiha jounin gather there.
After Ruri came out of the meeting room in the inner hall, most people stared at Ruri with cold and angry eyes.
Silently accused her of being rude to the Elder Tenjins before.
They passed Ruri without saying a word, and poured into the meeting room with a cold breath.
Ruri walked forward a little absent-minded.
"team leader."
Several Uchiha ninjas didn't go in, but came over to care about Ruri, with confusion in their eyes, wondering what conflict happened between Ruri and the elder Tenjin.
"Don't ask, it's not good for you. I'm tired, I'll go back to rest first, and you guys should go back and rest quickly."
Ruri finished speaking softly, and walked down the steps of Naka Shrine step by step.
Looking at the back of Ruri's continuous journey, the Uchiha ninjas who belonged to Ruri's direct subordinates looked at each other in blank dismay.
"what to do?"
"Looking at the captain's distraught expression, I was really shocked. I've never seen the captain's expression before."
"After all, he is the elder Tenjin, a person who is unambiguous in the clan."
Several Uchiha ninjas believed deeply, and felt fear from the bottom of their hearts for the Elder Tenjin who led the radical faction.
Being able to tame those ninjas from the Radical Faction, the horror of that Elder Tenjin is beyond their imagination.
•••
After returning, Shiraishi saw Ruri sitting in the corridor without saying a word, staring blankly at the night outside, feeling worried for a while.
Although he didn't know what happened to Ruri after he went to see Elder Tenjin, this was the first time he saw Ruri being so shocked.
Whether she was designed by Roots and surrounded by sand ninjas, or the anger and helplessness of Hokage's high-level partiality and ignorance, or when Sakumo passed away, she has never seen such a lost expression.
"I want to rest."
After the daze ended, Ruri suddenly turned her head and said.
Shiraishi seemed to be taken aback for a moment, then nodded.
While sleeping, Shiraishi quietly held Ruri in his arms. Ruri closed her eyes in Shiraishi's arms, as if she was already very tired.
What happened there?
Shiraishi has no way of knowing.
But the plan to break away from Konoha is tomorrow, so I have to confess to Ruri no matter what tonight.
Just seeing Ruri's tired expression at the moment, isn't it a little inappropriate to suddenly talk to her about leaving Konoha tomorrow when she is in such a depressed mood?
If I knew this earlier, I should have stopped her a little earlier, so i wouldn't be so entangled.
However, there is no longer any delay.
If you miss this opportunity, there will be no next time.
Just when Shiraishi mustered up his courage and wanted to tell Ruri about that matter, Ruri's voice reached his ears first.
"Let's get out of here."
The tone contained a kind of tiredness and sadness.
Eh?
Shiraishi was stunned for a moment.
What?
What is Ruri talking about?
"Get out of where?"
"Konoha."
Ruri gave Shiraishi an accurate answer.
Shiraishi took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
I should be the first to bring up this kind of thing. Why did Ruri bring it up first?
"I don't want to stay here any longer. Whether it's this village or this family, it's full of guys who bore me."
After listening to Shiraishi, he lowered his head and looked. Ruri opened her eyes at some point, revealing the bright red Sharingan that shone like gems.
Shiraishi hugged Ruri even tighter, he could feel Ruri's disappointment and helplessness for this place.
This is a decision made only when there is no other way out.
He didn't know what exactly Ruri had talked with that Elder Tenjin when she met him, so that Ruri suddenly made such a decision.
"Did something happen?"
Ruri just squeezed into Shiraishi's warm embrace without answering.
Shiraishi patted her on the back, but didn't press on.
Ruri leaves Konoha... No, or rather, the determination to stay away from the family is so strong.
Shiraishi could clearly feel it.
is also understandable.
Regarding the matter between Roots and Sakumo, Ruri had already been very disappointed with those Konoha high-ranking officials.
The reason why she still claims to be a Konoha ninja is because of the entangled relationship between the Uchiha clan and Konoha.
The things in the past were also because she was still a ninja of this clan, so she had to endure it as a last resort.
At this moment, this patience is exhausted.
"Ah, let's go together, leave this place and start a new beginning."
In the embrace, there was only the soft sound of Ruri sleeping soundly.
Shiraishi scratched his head, this should be considered a relatively happy ending.
Although he felt that he didn't play any decisive role in it.
However, Ruri really knew from the very beginning that he was determined to leave Konoha, after all, there was her eyeliner in the organization.
After all, she didn't communicate with him in advance, so she directly proposed to leave Konoha with him... Obviously, she had already noticed something.
Forget it, let’s not think about this kind of thing.
With the assistance of Ruri's Sharingan, the action tomorrow night will be more assured.
••••
The next day was also the day Shiraishi planned to leave Konoha.
at noon-
In Ruri's house, in an unremarkable secret room.
Uchiha's fan logo is engraved on the wall, and 3 Tomoe is used as a foil on both sides.
Ruri sat at the top of the seat, and in front of her, there were a total of twelve people sitting.
Three of them are jounin, sitting at the front, and the other nine are chunin, sitting a little behind.
Ruri swept across the faces of these people one by one, without any nonsense, straight to the point, and said to these people:
"I plan to leave Konoha, do you plan to stay or choose to follow me, you decide for yourself."
After Ruri finished speaking, the twelve Uchiha ninjas all looked at each other, and they could all see the surprise and hesitation in each other's eyes.
Even if they were asked to make this decision, the time was too sudden.
"Captain, let's not talk about leaving Konoha for now. If we really leave the village, where will we settle down?"
A Jōnin asked hesitantly.
This is also a concern for the rest of the people.
"Don't worry about this. I have already made proper arrangements for the retreat plan and the subsequent resettlement issues. And now there is a good-scale force in that place, which was organized by me. Even if you all go there, there is still room for resettlement."
Ruri replied.
This can be regarded as dispelling their worries.
Seeing the struggle and hesitation on the faces of these people, Ruri also understood their difficulties, and suddenly let them make this kind of decision.
"No matter what decision you make, just don't make yourself regret it. If you choose to go with me, report to me before three o'clock in the afternoon. I will arrange everything for you."
"Yes, Captain."
Just as Ruri was about to leave, another jonin asked, "Well, captain, can I ask a question?"
"Do you want to know why I left the village and family?" Ruri murmured to herself, which was also an answer to the Jōnin's question: "The reason is very simple, because the radicals can no longer accommodate me. They will seek the Hokage position of Konoha next. Either they will be reborn from the ashes, or...just like the Senju Clan, they will lose the name of the clan. Or, They will have a more tragic ending."
Everyone's heart trembled.
The war broke out suddenly, and the radicals really couldn't bear it anymore.
What they were waiting for was this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
She walked to the next room, Shiraishi was waiting for her there, drinking tea with a calm expression.
"Is it okay not to follow them? They may expose our actions."
"No problem, I have confidence in them, I don't look for incompetent subordinates."
Ruri said with full confidence.
She walked to Shiraishi and sat down, poured a cup of tea for herself, and took a sip.
"The action time is eleven o'clock in the evening, how are you preparing?"
Facing Ruri's question, a bottomless stream of water surged from Shiraishi's body and was slowly condensing.
"It's okay, this kid can't wait."
(PS: The war will start tomorrow, the foreshadowing is finally over, it’s going to annoy me to death, every day someone asks when to fight...
I think so too, but the minefield of fan books is that besides the main character, the supporting characters are particularly prone to facial makeup. The lack of tension in the prelude leads to the collapse of the plot and the climax is inexplicable.
I have experienced this kind of thing many times, so I would rather slow down the pace, and I don’t want to force myself to skip the foreshadowing part, make the supporting characters facial, and the narrative is incomplete, like a running account. )
(end of this chapter)
